A/N: Hello again, everyone! I hope you're all doing well and hanging in there—that's all anyone can do. I'm gonna do a little time skip within the chapter—still trying to figure out the time consistencies.

"Mommy-mommy-mommy!" Séraphine and Alexander sprinted into Alexander's nursery, watching him being changed by Élise.

Élise replied, "I'm comin'!" She tugged down on his white polo shirt, fixed the collar, and pulled up his cargo shorts to make sure they weren't too tight around his diaper.

She twirled around after she finished and asked them, cradling her younger son in her arms. "You two ready for the big Easter Egg Roll at the White House?"

"Uh-huh!"

Spencer strolled in with baby Éliana in his arms. She looked adorable in her yellow floral-trim footed coverall.

Last week, Spencer and Élise took the newborn (2-3 days after coming home from the hospital) for a scheduled appointment with Dr. Pierce. She completed the usual tests, screenings, and shot dosage on the infant, and the good doctor deemed her in good health. Dr. Pierce not only scheduled an upcoming appointment for Éliana but one for Élise for a postnatal checkup.

The current US President and First Lady hosted the annual White House Easter Egg Roll—they went out big since it was going to be their last time under the administration. The "Let's Celebrate" theme celebrated their initiatives and contributions during their eight years at the White House.

Families came out to play around on the South Lawn. Famous performers came to the event, such as the cast of Sesame Street (Spencer and Élise managed to get group photos of them with the kids), Tony Award-winning singer and actress Idina Menzel (who also performed the National Anthem to open the Egg Roll). More famous faces, such as from the culinary world to the cast of "The Real" and "Black-ish".

"Shh…" Spencer sat in the rocking chair in Éliana's nursery, caressing her and adjusting the pacifier in her mouth. He felt his cell phone in his pants pocket and whipped it out. Cocking his mouth, Spencer gave it a minute to think about calling Hotch to let him know how he was doing. Pressing Hotch's name on the contact list on his list, he patiently waited for his boss to answer.

"Hello?"

Spencer replied quietly, trying to wake up little Éliana. "Hey, Hotch."

"Spencer, how are you?"

Spencer glanced at a sleepy Éliana. "Everyone in the homeland's good. She's still asleep and easy-going when it comes to sleeping. The kids are at school, and Élise's with Alexander, so I just thought I'd see how everyone's doing."

"Everything's good. In case you don't know, Morgan asked Savannah to marry him, and they're currently expecting, " Hotch said.

Spencer acknowledged, "Yeah. They, uh, told us when Élise and I took the kids to their place. Maybe we could give them some parenting advice. Because Morgan could surely use some." Spencer couldn't help it.

Hotch muffled a snicker.

Spencer opened his mouth, wanting to go on, but he sensed a squirming, which made him look down and see Éliana waking up, gurgling. "I better get going. Ella needs me."

"Okay. And keep sending the baby pictures."

Spencer smirked. "Will do." He hung up and scooped Éliana up. "It's okay, Ella Bella. Daddy's gonna tend to ya…" he caught a whiff of something rotten and sniffed Éliana. "Oof! And I'll start by changing your diaper."

Élise stood over the little baby in the bassinet (of course, nothing but her flat on her back on the firm, tight-fitting mattress covered by a tight-fitting sheet), dangling a glitzy, chunky crystal natural gemstone necklace over her.

"Can you see the light?" she flicked one of the crystals over and over again, enjoying Éliana's subtle reactions. "Can you see it, sweet girl?"

The bedroom door was knocked on a few times before a voice said, "Hey, honey."

Élise focused on the baby and replied, "Spence, babe." Spencer stood by her side and glanced down at the infant. "She's so precious."

"Mmm-hmm…" he threw one arm around her shoulder. "And about me getting my…" he wiggled his pinkie and continued. "…done…"

Élise kept a smile pasted on her face and warned him through her gritted teeth. "If you don't get that done sooner, I'mma…"

Spencer held his hands up; he knew what Élise was going to do, and it'd be way worse than the actual procedure. "Don't worry, I will do it; I even have an appointment booked before I go back to work in a couple weeks."

Élise exhaled in relief, still tapping on the crystals, "That's good. Because when my factory is closing down, it is closing down without the slightest chance of reopening."

Spencer chuckled as Éliana's light coos and babbles turned into soft crying. Spencer was ready to pick her up, but Élise stopped him.

"Let me, babe," she insisted, scooping Éliana from the bassinet and holding her close to her chest. "She needs my boob milk."

"And then she'll need her tummy time, even if it's for a few minutes." Spencer reminded her.

Spencer placed a small bowl of chickpea spaghetti and one bowl of pureed carrots in front of a sitting Alexander. "Here you go, buddy." He snuffled his hair (his curls fell out months ago but began regrowing some time ago) and tickled his cheeks, making him giggle.

An interested Alexander picked up a small blue-colored spoon just as Élise came in, cradling and rocking Éliana.

"Hey, little big boy," Élise tickled Alexander's cheeks. "Ready to use your big boy utensils today?"

Alexander curiously stared at the puree carrot bowl and slowly scraped a small spoonful.

"Mmm…" Spencer looked unsure before turning his head to Élise and said, "Maybe he's not ready yet to handle utensils…"

"I think he is ready," Élise kept her focus on Éliana, adjusting the pacifier in her mouth while fetching her a bottle of breast milk. "You just gotta give it some time."

"And speaking of time, when is my dad supposed to be back with the Fee and Zig?" Spencer wondered to himself.

Élise guessed on the top of her head, "Maybe in a few minutes…"

Spencer walked around the counter to get to Élise and closed the fridge door for her. "Hey, Ella Bella. Are you gonna miss me when I go back to work next week?" he pinched her cheek, making her coo.

Élise tucked on Spencer's dress shirt collar and drew him closer to reach his ear, "And as long as you get your…thing…taken care of tomorrow, I'll do the same with mine…"

"Actually…"

Spencer tried to say something (or correct her) when she locked her finger over his mouth and squealed. "Look at Alexei, babe…"

Spencer whirled his head, and his jaw dropped when he saw Alexander using his utensils to eat. "Heey, little man…" soon he and Élise motioned around their counters to get to Alexei and watch him eat. "You're eating with your spoon," Spencer said.

Élise continued rocking Éliana and turned around twice, clearly not thinking straight right now. "Oh, if only I had my cell phone…"

Spencer pulled Élise back and stopped her from leaving the kitchen. "Let's just enjoy this moment."

Élise took Spencer's advice, and the two of them stood around Alexander and watched him eat.

The front door closed and then came the sounds of keys dangling, shoes being kicked off, and Séraphine and Isaac giggling and laughing while quarreling about who got into the house first until William dialed them down and told them to use their indoor voices now that they were home.

"Hey, everyone," William waved to his son, daughter-in-law, and two youngest grandchildren.

"Hey, Dad," Spencer acknowledged his father back without taking his eyes off Alexander, who was having another spoonful.

Séraphine tried to squeeze between her parents but gave up after a few seconds and simply asked instead, "Whatcha lookin' at?"

"We're watching Alexander eat with his utensils," Élise bubbled with elation.

Isaac asked, half-shrugging his shoulders, "Why?"

"Because this is his first time doing so…" Élise explained.

"Wow…" Séraphine coolly uttered.

William circled around and gasped at Alexander, who was having another bite of his food. "Aw, look at you, little buddy…"

"Are you gonna have another bite, big boy?" Élise asked in a rather babyish voice. "Want to eat more of your yummy food?"

Isaac whispered to Séraphine while the adults gushed and acted all giddy over their youngest brother, "Grown-ups are so weird…"

"I know." Séraphine nodded her head, agreeing with her brother, but she was somewhat confused about their excitement for Alexander's new eating habits.

Standing in front of the floor-length vanity mirror, Spencer hooked his thumb around one of the belt loops, adjusting it until it was just right (and by adjusting it, he meant he was comfortable enough).

"Hey, you," Élise snuck up from behind her, embracing Éliana. "Don't you look so sharp today for your first day back at work?"

Spencer wore a fitted cut pink oxford dress shirt, dark navy classic-cut wool suit jacket and pants, and polished wingtips.

"Thanks for the compliment." Spencer simpered, altering and straightening his tie.

Though she knew Éliana was much too young to understand, she covered her ears and asked him quietly, "How's your area down there?"

Spencer answered wearily with some strain. "Never been better."

He promised Élise he'd get a vasectomy. And he did—he and Élise were more than sure enough they were done with having children. He counted that the procedure took about thirty minutes and went home. Despite some discomfort, Spencer wasn't in great pain, but the doctors advised him to rest in bed for the rest of the day. His dad took over his daddy duties for the day and did the heavy lifting for him for the past week.

"On the flip side, our family's complete." Spencer kissed Éliana's head.

Élise smiled lightly and looked at Éliana. "Indeed, we are…"

The elevator doors dinged open, and Spencer stepped off. Walking into the bullpen (but not before holding the door for a couple of fellow agents who expressed their gratitude in return), he rested his satchel bag on the desk. He fumbled around inside it until he found his two small wooden picture frames—one with him and Élise and the other with all four kids.

Aligning it right where he wanted it, he looked around and was surprised not to see any of the team. He figured they must be in the conference room. Hiking up the three-four steps, Spencer cantered until he got there.

"Surprise!"

There was Rossi, JJ, Tara, and Garcia. On the table was a small cake and wrapped presents. A banner with WELCOME BACK in bold blue lettering played on the screen, and some balloons stood between the flat screen.

"Aww, you all didn't have to." Spencer marveled, touched by this grand gesture from his teammates.

Garcia sashayed to Spencer and gave him a hug. "Of course we wanted to, you silly doctor. Please tell me you brought more pictures of the little darling."

"I did," said Spencer just as Hotch came in and gave him a light smile.
