Ozpin and Qrow Lay in wait for the two mysterious persons ascend the cliff. Ozpin is really glad that he decided to bring Qrow along. Glynda told them about how easily the two strangers dispatched the Grimm. She also made sure to inform him that the young woman was also capable of summoning weapons in the same manner as the boy, likely ruling that out as their semblances, but still calling into question how they can do it in the first place. They do not seem outwardly hostile, judging by their recent interaction, but they should still stay on guard.

"Hey Oz! they're almost up here, I got the kid, give the girl a hand, will ya?" Qrow turns his attention back to the cliff, where one gloved hand has reached the top of the cliff about to hoist the rest of it's owner up. Qrow goes to grab the other hand to help them up, but- "Holy dust! Why's a little guy like you so heavy?" he shouts as he uses more effort then he expected. When the smaller person finally finds himself at the top of the cliff, Qrow can tell the boy was most of the work. Ozpin elects to have the girl lift herself up, deciding not to make the same mistake.

"Oh yeah, sorry about that, us YoRHa androids tend to be a lot heavier than most regular androids. I'm 9S by the way, and she" 9S points to the other figure hoisting herself onto the cliff with ease, "Is 2B" Qrow is about to say something, but stops when Ozpin shoots him a look, telling him to let them continue talking.

"Greetings. We have intel regarding some strange creatures we encountered in the forest below, assuming you weren't already aware." Yup, that's 2B for you, straight to business.

"All black, looked like wolves but designed to cause as much damage as possible?" Qrow probes.

"Yes. It would seem some of my concerns of this being an undocumented species are unfounded."

"We purposefully keep some Grimm in the forest for the purposes of live exercises."

"I see. There is no cleanup, and they aren't very difficult to dispatch. Depending on how fast they reproduce, I can see why you use them for training."

"Exactly, however, the rather large group you ran into was quite the anomaly. Normally we have them at a much lower concentration, so as to not cause harm to the students."

"Hm. are they-"

"H-Hey 2B?" 9S interjects very uncertainly.

"What is it?" Ozpin notes how notably her tone has softened when talking to 9S. It would seem they are very close.

"I... pod was right... I-I'm not sure these are androids."

"What?"

"I mean, I'm not picking up any ports, electrical signals, life signs, nothing."

Ozpin and Qrow observe the conversation in confusion. They didn't misspeak when they called themselves androids, yet they seem to have trouble accepting the conclusion that Qrow and Ozpin are not androids.

"Th- They're humans! Actual real live humans!" 9S shouts as he grabs Qrow by the arm and starts examining it.

Qrow shoots Ozpin a look, but Ozpin shoots him down, just let it happen. Qrow becomes very exasperated at this, but complies.

"Is something wrong?" Ozpin asks, feigning ignorance.

"Wha- n-no, no!" 9S stammers as he continues examining Qrow. "It's just... I'm not sure how to say this-"

"Us androids were created to serve humanity. Yet we spent our entire existence having never met one." 2B adds.

"Uh, yeah. I guess we weren't sure if humans still existed. I mean... it just feels so... surreal. We're actually talking to real humans 2B!"

9S stops examining Qrow and darts up to Ozpin "I- I have SO many questions! I mean I don't even know where to star-"

"Yes, yes, I can see you are very excited, but perhaps you could continue this on the ride back? As I'm sure you can see, it's starting to get late, and I certainly would not like to linger too long once it's dark."

His comment only seems to deepen the young man's awe as he takes a look at the sky and sees that the sun, is indeed setting. "Wh- the sun IS moving! Or well, WE- no the EARTH is moving and the sun is setting!"

While 9S is lost in thought, coming to terms with the fact that humans exist in this world, and trying to wrap his head around the fact that they are seeing a real sunset, 2B decides to take initiative. "We accept your invitation. Are we going by foot, or by air?"

"By air, of course, Beacon is just a tad too far to get there before nightfall. Plus I doubt these aging joints will be able to take me that far. Come, our Bullhead- our airship, that is- is in the clearing just behind these trees. Feel free to ask me any questions you have on the ride to beacon."
