Chapter 8:

The Time Squad were surrounded by MLE 13's drones. "Now, see here," says Larry, "yes, humans make mistakes, but they also learn from them! Can Tuddrussle be a buffoon? Yes! But he and Otto are the best friends a robot can have!"

"That's right, you can't keep us apart forever," says Tuddrussle.

"And you can't replace humans with robots," says Otto.

"Why not," asks MLE 13, "look! Blackbeard was fighting to save whales when he was supposed to be a pirate, Freud was making people act like animals, Cleopatra made a mall! Humans are inferior!"

"And you think robots can do better," asks Tuddrussle.

"I'm a robot, and I've made plenty of mistakes," says Larry, "that's why I was shut down!"

"You're also an inferior model," says MLE 13.

"If I could make a suggestion," says Evelyn.

"I'm sorry, who are you," asks MLE 13.

"Evelyn Wood, science wiz, first time traveler. Maybe we can see for ourselves."

"Very well," says MLE 13, "Jefferson, write the Declaration of Independence!" The Jefferson robot does so. "There, you, see?"

The time Squad look. "He wrote the same things," says Otto, "but the hand writing's all wrong!"

"What," asks MLE 13. She then takes a look. "No... no... it..." She then starts to break down.

...

They were all faced with the Commander. "I should fire you all for this, but since you saved the timeline from being taken over by a crazed robot... I think I'll give you your jobs back and Otto, how would you like to be official?"

"Really," asks Otto.

...

Tuddrussle, Larry, and Otto were back in their base. The three then high five. "The team is back together," says Tuddrussle.

The alarm goes off and their next mission is Homer. "It's Go Time," the three say.

...

Evelyn's back in her room. Then Shela and XJ-5 appear. "Hey kid," says Shela, "how would you like a part-time job?" Shela was excited.
