Chapter 15: What's Next?

Sunday; December 9, 2036; 6:37 a.m. - Silver Creek Mountain

"What the fuck was that?!" exclaimed Lynn. She clenched her wrapped up fist. "There's no way that Lily was acting normal! What she was doing was fuck up!"

"We have to go to the police!" Leni shouted, with tears running down her face. "We need to help Linky and Lana! Lily's been hurting them!"

"T-Talk about a cold case," Luan jokes, but she too was shaken up. So shaken up that no one didn't groan at the pun. A bruise was on her left cheek.

"There's nothing we can do with this damn storm!" Lori commented. "We have no cellular connection, and the storm is getting worse by the minute!"

After what happened from the previous twelve hours, the Loud family found out what Lily was doing. Many were beyond stunned and freaked out. And what makes matters worse, Lincoln was knocked unconscious and much more injuried after his fall. Not to mention the once spontaneously Lana was a shell of herself. All that being said, Lily didn't apologize for her action. It was as if her whole demeanor was replaced by someone they couldn't recognize. A monster that they can't identify.

"We can't stay here and do nothing! We got to do something!"

"And then what Lynn? Get buried underneath the snow?" Lori argued. "We have to wait here and watch for Lily. That's the only thing we can do. Right now Lisa is watching over Lincoln and Lana, and we have Lucy, Luna and Lola keep Lily in her room."

Lynn was walking back and forward, still feeling the adrenaline after the big discovery. Leni was sitting close to the fireplace, tearing up. Luan was beside the second older sister, trying to comfort her. And there was the oldest sister, trying to keep everything under control. This wasn't like when they were young where she could blow her whistle to make everyone line up in order. This was something she couldn't control, but she can attempt to manage.

This is problematic for the whole family. To have the youngest sister be a goddamn yandere for their only brother. Blame her boyfriend for introducing anime to her when she wanted to ease herself after a busy day at work. Still, to see how Lily acted, she couldn't believe that was the same baby sister that walked and crawled in her diaper. What happened to her baby sister that made her see Lincoln differently?

Lily's Room

This was never supposed to happen. This wasn't the way she thought would happen. To be tied up on her bed with no Lincoln. Could you blame her, she loved her brother. Still, she knew no one would accept the fact. Lily should have been patient. She should have waited, but the urges got the best of her. And how could she, her brother be hurt and no one could take care of him like she did. And he was giving her so much attention that the urges took control.

When they all saw her mask off, it should have been the moment she would have cried, confess her manipulation, and be begging for forgiveness. But then, she remembers how angry she felt when her own Linky was lusting over Lana. It could have been her brother's plan, for he was called the man with a plan. Still, to finally get his attention just for her own sister steal it away, well you know what happened.

Everyone stared in horror, seeing Lily pushed Lincoln down the basement stairs. They can hear the thuds as their own brother was stumbling on the stairs down to the basement. When the noise stopped, they could hear a blood curling scream. Lily turn around to see all the sisters looking at her. Her mouth was slightly open and her eyes widened as she was breathing heavily.

Leni was slowly passing Lily, as she reached for the basement door to see Lana, hugging Lincoln on the floor. Everyone else was approaching the youngest sister.

"What did you do?!" Luna shouted. "Why did you do that to Lincoln!"

Lily felt her throat dry. She didn't want this to happen. She didn't want her family to see her like this. She struggled to get a word out, but when she turned her head back, she saw something that made her decide there was no going back.

Looking over where Leni was, she witnessed Lana comforting Lincoln. It was a normal reaction to help a brother out. But the fact that the mechanic of the family was wrapping her arms around his now busted head close to her breast. Well, Lily was furious.

"It should have been me!"

She glanced at the axe close to the fireplace. She grabbed it and was going to go down to get rid of the filthy dog. Suddenly, Leni stood by the doorway. Lily was taken back by the action. Her second oldest was never a confrontational person, yet here she was blocking her way.

"Leni move out of the way!" Lily yelled. "I need to take care of the trash!"

Usually Leni was a push over, in Lily's opinion. She would tear up if you yelled at her. She saw it herself, so it was a shocker to witness Leni's own glare.

"Leave them alone!" Leni yelled at Lily.

The youngest sister was taken back by the sheer volume of Leni's voice. Lily saw how tight she was clenching her hands, making her knuckles white. When she was distracted, she felt a hand on her shoulder. She quickly threw her elbow back , striking someone on the face. She turned around to Luan on the floor grabbing hold of her cheek. She winced in pain, and Lily did not want herself to be stopped. How dare that wannabe jokester try to stop her romantic interest.

Luan was in pain getting elbow on the face, but when she looked up she saw her life flashed before her eyes. Lily raised the axe above her head, with no emotion. No worry, no anger, no smile, but just a emotionless expression. With Luan witness, she tune out the sound of cries and scattered furnitures. She saw the axe moving down towards her. That would be hitting square in the head, but Leni grabbed the axe.

For Lily, she forgot that Leni was a strong woman. She tried to shake the axe off her older sister's grasp, but they wouldn't budge. As she was attempting to get the axe back, a fist hit her on her chin. She felt her body numb as she fell down on the floor.

Leni grabbed hold of the axe as Lynn rushed at Lily. The athlete went to full mount on top, and tried to restrain her sister. She was beyond pissed that her baby sister tried to kill their own flesh and blood, and was hurting Lana and especially Lincoln. She started to hit Lily's face again and again with her fists. That was until Lily then backed her off. She saw herself looking up at Lily, who was starting to punch her. She quickly grabbed her leg and threw her forward to get top position again. She then threw more punches at Lily before she was finally pulled off.

Lucy pulled her sister off her other sister. She tightly held Lynn as Luna and Lori were holding Lily down on the floor. Lola and Leni went down the basement to check up on Lincoln and Lana. They were crying and calling Lisa, who was too stunned to witness the chaotic family encounter. Luan was getting up to help her sisters hold down Lily. Everything was from bad to badshit insane.

The baby sister can feel the bruising on her face. Man Lynn can throw a punch. Next to her was Lucy, Luna and Lola. Lucy was sitting on a chair across from the bed, wearing a long sleeve black shirt with a grey scarf, and a black leggings with black boots. Luna was leaning against the wall from the far corner of the bed, with a purple leather jacket, and black jeans with pocket chains, and dark purple boots. And there was Lola, leaning against the door with a glitter pink sweater with a lighter pink scarf, pink leggings, and pink winter boots. Lily could see how pissed off they all were, but there was something from Lola. It didn't help that her face reminded her of the dog she called a twin sister. Still, Lola was different from her anger. Lily just can't figure it out.

"Come on guys, can you just let me out?"

No reply, but just intense glare from her own sisters. Lily chuckled quietly, for she probably deserves it.

"It's not what you think. It's all a-"

"Don't," said Luna, her glare burning at Lily. "Luan can have bad pranks, but what you did..."

The room was silent, and Lily was trapped. She can't escape without any of the sisters stopping her. So this is how Lincoln would feel being struck with no control. Of course she's blaming the poachers for accidentally shooting his legs. What she did was not to harm him, but to protect him.

"Why?"

Lily looks over to see Lucy lean forward to her. She can see one of her gothic sister's eyes.

"Why do that to Lincoln and Lana? You know Lana was feeling guilty for what happened to Linc. I knew there was something within your aura, but I could never imagine this."

Lily then broke into a fit of giggles. Which slowly turns to laughter. Lucy slowly leaned back from the burst of laughter.

"That's hilarious! You of all people should have seen this coming!" Lily raised her voice. " All that dark literature couldn't prepare you for this? A sister wanting a forbidden relationship with her brother. Why does that sound so familiar?"

"Stop it Lily!" Luna yelled, as she was approaching Lucy. She patted her little goth sister's back. "This isn't right! You're just sick and you need help."

"Oh please, you think I'm the only one who felt like this?" Lily argued, glaring at Luna. "A brother who knows what his sisters want. A brother who made sure they have everything in the world. Did you guys forget who our brother was?"

Lily glances at Lola. She can see the beauty model clutching her chest. She then glanced at Luna. She can see the rockstar stuck and dazed. And then she glanced at Lucy. The goth just stays quiet. No emotions expressed on her face. It's hard to read her.

"I saw how you guys were. You would always ask for Lincoln's attention ever since I was young. So if you are going to lecture me, then ask yourself; why bring him here? Out of all the places to bring him, you guys choose a cabin during a snowstorm. And don't deny it, for I have been feeling this way myself. Isn't this why you guys wanted him to be here? To get to be with him and only him. To 'make him feel better' in your own ways."

All the three sisters accompanying Lily were quiet. So quiet that the sound of the wind blowing could be heard only. Lily knew that she wasn't the only one to see their brother's greatness. His mere presence has gotten them through many of their toughest struggles. And to see him with his passion for comics slowly and painfully dying. His depression worsened from previous reunions.

Luna grunted as she marched to the door before she exited the room. She slammed the door hard, leaving Lily with Lucy and Lola. Lola was rubbing her arms, starting to feel uncomfortable from what Lily was saying. Lucy was still sitting on the chair, with no body language giving clues to how she was feeling about what the youngest sister was saying.

"I-I know I was selfish. B-But it's Lincoln. We all loved him one way or another," Lily said with tears starting to run down on her cheeks. "I-I just didn't want to be looked past by. I wanted his love. And even if he'll never love back, then I know I had the guts to be honest with him and myself!"

The room was silent yet again. Lola can feel her heart wanting to burst out of her chest from the guilt she was feeling right now. Seeing how madly in love Lily was making the beauty model reflect on the taboo relationship she just started with her own brother. But... was she ashamed of it?

"Maybe..." Lola whispered. "She's right."

Lucy turns around with her mouth slightly opened in shock. Lola walked forward with her hands on her chest.

"Lola, what do you mean-"

"I kissed him," Lola admitted. "I kissed him when he was in my room. H-He was tired and I helped him shave. When it was done, he didn't look like my older brother. He looked like a handsome man. I-I kissed him Lucy. I kissed my brother, and I felt... alive."

"I knew it!" Lily spoked. "I thought I saw your lip gloss smeared on his lips!"

"And you treated him terribly!" Lola yelled with tears starting to form on her eyelids. "Why did you treat him like that when you love him?!"

"Because I didn't want him to leave me again!" Lily shouted, before she began to weep. "W-When I needed him the most, he left! And when he did that, I-I felt like I lost a part of me! I was going to drop out of college, but I knew he wouldn't like that. So I worked hard, and when I heard that he was coming back, I had to take my chance. I didn't want him to leave again. Do you want him to leave again so he can be all alone!"

"No," said Lola, her heart beating with passion. "He's been through so much already before. We can't let him go through that again. He needs to be treated right..."

Lucy watched her two younger sister's admit their feelings for Lincoln. This wasn't what Lucy was expecting. It was easy to assume Lily was madly in love with Lincoln, but now Lola was also in love with him. It was reminding her of the forbidden romance stories she read before.

"Lola, you can't be thinking of that of your brother," Lucy said. "It's forbidden!"

"But Lucy, don't you enjoy a forbidden relationship?" Lola asked.

"I-It's fictional."

"Didn't you care when Lincoln would make sure you were treated with respect instead of being outcasted?!"

"He's still our brother! We can't force him in a relationship if it's not right!"

"I can't believe this!" Lily rolls her eyes. "You're trying to push your feelings down!"

"I'm not in love with my brother!" Lucy declared with a frown. One eye peeking behind her black bang of hair. "Lily, I know he's a great guy, but your feelings for him are misdirected. Same goes for you too Lola!"

Lola looked away in shame, while Lily was shaking her head in disagreement. The beauty pageant sister begins to weep, feeling the guilt of having a romantic feeling for her brother. Lucy sighed, feeling the burden of knowing two sisters have committed a taboo act to their blood brother. It was entertaining to read it from literature, but to have it happening in front of her was something different. Was it disgraceful? Sinful? Inter- Lucy shook her head. This was no time to relieve her youthful years. This needed to be dealt with.

"Look, when the weather clears up, we are heading back home. Then we can help you guys."

"I don't want any help Lucy! I want Lincoln!" Lily interrupted. "Lola, you don't have to hide her feelings. It's natural! I mean, who can compare to Lincoln?! He's been there for all of us, no matter if he gets rewarded or not. He's selfless, which is why you love him Lola! He's the one to be your love. He's the reason why your world exists. He's the light you gravitate towards."

Lola turned around, surprised that Lily perfectly described her attraction towards Lincoln. Her eyes observe Lily with her own tears in her eyes.

"I-I love him because of that... Isn't that the point we wanted him to be here?"

"Lola?" Lucy called her name, getting off her chair. Lola was slowly walking up to the tied up Lily. "Lola don't get anything closer."

"She's right! We were supposed to be there for Linky! W-We need to be there for him. All of us!"

Before she can reach for Lily, Lucy grab her from behind, beginning to drag her away.

"You can't do this to me! We have to be together for him! He's hurt and we're just arguing!"

"Lily is using you!" Lucy shouted as she brought Lola to the same chair she was sitting earlier. "She's just manipulating you!"

"No! I love him and he doesn't want us to treat each other like this!" Lola shouted, trying to fight off the grasp of her sister.

Lucy held her in place as she reached for the leftover rope. Once she grabbed it, she started wrapping her sister in the chair. Lola started to cry.

"You can't do this to me!"

"I'm sorry," Lucy whispered. She got enough rope to restrain Lola. "You need to think this through."

While that was occurring, Lily was smiling. She was seeing the crack of a secret waiting to be shattered.

Title: The Last Stand

Issue: #2 (A Trick Up A Sleeve)

My legs hasn't felt the same since I was shot. Usually I could shake off the pain and be good as new. This time, it was different. Maybe I'm getting too exhausted. I been fighting so much crimes as of late. So much just pile on. I don't even remember when I had one of the Wild Cards deal with the crimes I decided to take on upon myself.

And then suddenly this Captain Hero suddenly appears. I haven't met her before, but she looks capable of helping the city. Still, I have a feeling about her. Like something is hidden amongst her heroic actions.

Luckily I'm not the only one feeling this. Royal Flush and Eights of Spades had their own suspicions of Captain Hero. Seems like they were the only ones as the rest of the Wild Cards were welcoming the new arriving hero. The hero does make herself presentable and perceived as a hero with values.

As of now, Royal Flush and Eights of Spades are doing a private investigation on the new hero. Meanwhile, I'm continuing to stop crime around the city.

Ace Savvy was glancing at his injured leg. Crime has been rampant. With this Captain Hero debut, it seems like the crime rate spiked. With so many heroes they should have at least slowed it down. Still, how suspicious was it that a new hero showed up, and it seems like the city was becoming a chaotic jungle.

While thinking of the new workload, a single snowflake fell in front of him. He looks up, seeing how the snow has begun to rain down. He closed his eyes to feel the cold breeze, taking a breather from his moment of peace.

"You know you should be resting?"

Ace Savvy turns to spot Queen of Diamonds standing behind him. Her name fits her hero identity with diamonds scattered around her wardrobe.

"You know I can't. There's so much to-"

"Do as a hero! I get that, but you're not fit to do your duty, mister," Queen of Diamonds spoke sternly.

Ace Savvy wished he could rebut, yet one of the Wild Cards walked up to him with a gentle smile and grasp at his jaw.

"You can rest Ace. You really need it," Queen of Diamonds demanded.

She starts caressing his face. The exhausted hero leaned into the soft hands of his fellow heroine. He smiles feeling the soothing feeling. Queen of Diamonds grinned with a shine in her eyes. She can't help seeing her hero enjoying her gentle touch. He was a handsome fellow, with so many attributes that made her gravitate towards the male hero. The shine in her eyes was pink.

"Fine, let's head back to headqua-"

"Lets not go there, you'll work yourself out again. Let's head back to my place. It'll be my treat."

I didn't know at the time, but this was the start of a long and dreadful plot of my downfall. This is where the stack of cards began to shake.

Meanwhile, Royal Flush and Eights of Spades were scouting for the suspicious Captain Hero. When Ace asked them to check up on the new hero, they obliged. They were watching over the hero in secret, yet they didn't see anything out of the ordinary. They were scouting on top of a different rooftop at a different part of town.

"There's nothing worth reporting," Eights of Spades. "We should head back to headquarters. There's still much darkness lurking around the city."

"You might be right Spades," Royal Flush nods her head. "I thought this new hero was a glorified wannabe hero, but she did stop a robbery from the national bank. Still, she could have prevented him from getting hurt. I could have done it quicker but I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings! You know that feeling that you could have prevented something if you weren't slow? That's what I'm feeling right now. What's your take on it?..."

She turns her head to see Eights of Spades disappear. Her teammate had the habit of leaving with no trace. As she was going to leave, she noticed something. Captain Hero was flying away from the city. It made Royal Flush curious to follow.

She got down from the building using her wrench to slide down the power lines. She made her way to follow the flying hero. She followed Captain Hero away from the city and into the snow covered woods. Royal Flush knew it was further away from the base, but she needed to know where the new hero was heading.

After what felt like hours. Captain Hero made her way to an abandoned warehouse before entering from the top. The hero group had no clue where she was residing, but to see her entering the warehouse got Royal Flush to decide to pursue her. The warehouse, which had rusted copper walls, shattered windows with wooden boards covered up, and a metal grid door. The hero uses her weapon to lift off the grid door to enter the warehouse.

From there, the hero enter in, seeing the location only covered by darkness. The only light source was the doorway she entered. She slowly continues moving forward, searching for any whereabouts of Captain Hero. The warehouse was empty, with only a few destroyed pieces of metal shelves, metal bars, and wooden boxes.

"Where the heck is she?" Royal Flush whispered.

Suddenly a flash of light got her attention. She turns to see a man wearing a ski mask and black jumpsuit with a handgun in hand aiming at her. A bullet was heading to her. Quickly, she uses her wrench to send the bullet up to the ceiling. As she did that, the man started shooting. Each bullet getting deflected by the mighty wrench. When the man ran out the ammo from the gun, Royal Flush then rushed forward to hit the gun off the man's hands, and then swing the wrench to the man's head to drop him down to the ground.

"Alright pal! What's the big idea!?" Royal Flush yelled. She was pissed that a scumming criminal tried to get her off guard.

Out of nowhere, a fist landed a clean shot to Royal Flush's face. The blow sends the hero back and on to the floor. The grounded hero looks up to see Captain Hero looking at her red glove covered fist.

"Isn't it strange that you followed me here? You thought I didn't notice you or Spades," spoke the suspected hero. "Why you think I had him try to shoot you? Oh well, he's useless now."

The new hero walks to the unconscious man before stomping her red boot on the man's head. The head flattened with a crack, followed by a gushing sound and a puddle of spatter blood. Royal Flush kick up, now detecting this as a dangerous encounter.

"Why are you doing this?" she asked, readying herself for any combat.

"Well that would ruin the surprise," Captain Hero said with sarcasm, but she lunged forward.

Royal Flush swung her wrench, yet Captain Hero easily dodge the weapon before landing another blow to the body. Royal Flush gasps for air, feeling the blow crushing her lungs. She hopes back and throws the wrench. Captain Hero grabbed the weapon, but she then saw a fist heading to her face.

The member of the Wild Cards landed a hard jab to the face, but her victory was short. Captain Hero smiled with the fist on her cheek, before she grasped at her opponent's throat.

"How pitiful," Captain Hero berated, lifting Royal Flush off her feet as she was gasping for air. "I thought you were going to be a challenge."

"You... won't get... away... with this!" Royal Flush struggled to say, trying to get out of the chokehold.

"On the contrary! You will help me with my plan, whether you like it or not. You will do as I said, and you will be my pawn in my grand plan to once and for all take down Ace Savvy!"

Royal Flush eyes widen at the revaluation. This whole time Captain Hero was planning to take down the hero the world adores and appreciates. And she walked into a trap without realizing. Then her eyes slowly closed from unconsciousness. The imposter hero drops the sleeping Royal Flush, then touches the hero's head. She then started using a power she hasn't shown. Mind control, a power she uses while someone was unconscious. That way, she gained control of the individual. And this was the second phase of her plan.

Luna enters the kitchen to look for a drink. She opens the cabinets to spot a large bottle of gin. Her hands were shaking as she grabbed hold of the cap and pulled it off. She begins to drink out of the bottle, feeling the bitter taste of alcohol. She stopped drinking to gasp for air, feeling tears running down her face.

"It's not true," she thought. "I'm happily married to Sam. I'm... happily married... with Sam."

"Luna?"

She wiped the tears off her face and saw Lori staring at her with worry. She gave a smile, albeit a weak smile.

"H-Hey big sis," Luna said with unease. "Don't mind me, I'm-"

"You're drinking. I know you drink when something's bothering you," Lori stated. "What happened up there with Lily?"

"I'm happily... married to Sam..."

Luna gave another long drink with the bottle of gin before she stopped to wipe off leftover alcohol on her lips.

"That gal is losing it, and I think I'm about to lose it too."

Lori's eyes widen, seeing her sister having a breakdown. She turns around to see Luan, Leni, and Lynn distracted from the living room. She approached Luna with a stern.

"You gotta keep it together!" Lori whispered loudly. "You can't let it get to you! Remember why we are here! Remember why we all came here!"

Luna was breathing heavily. She knows why everyone came here, and it's for one person.

"For Linky," Luna reminded herself.

"For Lincoln," Lori reassured her. "Once Lisa can finish checking him and Lana, we can get out of here and then we can deal with Lily."

"O-Oh okay," Luna said as she put the liquir back to the cabinet.

She was happily married... Right?

"We have a problem."

The two sisters were surprised by the sudden appearance by Lucy.

"Warn us next time," Luna said as she was holding her chest, feeling the rapid heartbeat.

"And what do you mean we have a problem?" Lori asked, curious to what the goth sister had to say.

"Lola confessed to having feelings for Lincoln too. And it seems that Lily also got Lola to turn against us. Right she's tied up as well."

The two sisters couldn't believe what they were hearing. They have an injured brother, two love crazed sisters, and another sister that's been broken down mentally. It was becoming chaotic.

"We can't stay here anymore! Once Lisa gets Lincoln to feel better, we need to get out of here," Lori said, as she was checking her cell phone to try to get in contact with anyone. The service bar was low. "This trip was for him to finally ease up and spend time with us. Now it's all turning sideways."

The trio walk in the living room, with Lori clearing her throat to get everyone's attention.

"This trip is getting cut short! We need to start getting our stuff and taking Lincoln to the hospital. Leni, Luan, you two are going to watch Lincoln & Lana with Lisa. Lynn, Luna, you guys are going to watch Lily and Lola. I'm going to get my car running. Once Lincoln is good to go, we are heading out."

"But Lori, what are we going to do with Lily and Lola?" Leni asked, with a frown on her face.

"We just need to focus on Lincoln right now," Lori answered. "He's hurt and Lana is not doing so well either. Once I get my sweater and boots, I'm going out there to get my car. Then when everything is clear, we are leaving."

Monday ; January 12, 2037; 11:47 am - Police Department, MI

Ronnie Anne was checking out the map of the Michigan woods. The weather forecast showed that the weather was going to get warm, so the snow would start to melt to clear any street heading to the mountains. Clyde was comparing the Last Stack comic to compare any landscape. Dip was at the corner, gathering everything the trio had come up with.

"This case is fascinating to say the least," Dip said in awe. "One of the biggest comics writers and illustrators mysteriously disappeared, along with his well known siblings. And his last comic seems to be the key to all the questions of said disappearance. First was just him and Lana being targeted, but it seems the whole family was targeted."

"We know Lily is the main suspect. But the reason for it seems to be mysterious itself," Clyde chimed in. "Why would she target her own brother, let alone her whole family?"

"Maybe she had a grudge against them? A family secret that could have affected Lily Loud to be a suspect in all of this."

"But the way the comic was drawn, it seems like this antagonist was inspired by Lily. And it looks like she helped him with some of the illustrations."

"That's true Clyde. It could have been an act to get close to her brother before she attacked," Dip commented. "Still, we haven't gotten a clue on where they might be. What do you think of this officer Santiago?"

The two look at the female police officer. She was still concentrating on the map of the Huron-Manistee National Forest. From what they could gather, the Loud siblings were heading somewhere for their sibling reunions. She heard her older Bobby mention the sibling reunions whenever they wanted to meet up together like old times. Bobby and Lori got married, which they have been married for 14 years. So when the Loud siblings would go to their siblings reunion, he would be the first to know.

When Lori, along with Lincoln and their sisters, went missing, Bobby was the first to ask Ronnie about the case. There wasn't much she could have told her older brother, but she did ask if he knew where they went. He unfortunately didn't know, for Lori said it was going to be special for Lincoln's recent depression issues. That is what led her to look at the forest. With Lincoln's comic being their only lead to the case, the forest landscape reminds her of the forest.

"Is there something that caught your attention Ronnie?" Cylde asked, he was approaching the cop.

"After seeing the illustrations, I look back at the map of Michigan," Ronnie Anne begins to explain what's been on her mind. "Those woods in the comics, it reminds me of Huron-Manistee. And there was that crime scene at Brohman."

"I think I heard your chief talking about earlier before Dip and I started decoding the comic."

"The bodies that were found there, the forensic team mentioned that the bodies could have been there for more than two weeks. So it's possible that they could be around the forest."

"Of course!" Dip exclaimed. "It's possible that they could be around the forest. With so much forest imagery, maybe that's the key to all of this."

"If that's the case, then this could be a terrible notion that Lily is capable of murder," Clyde added.

"That's what scares me," Ronnie Anne said as she focused on the map again. "We're going to need to tell the chief to do a search over there."

The trio begin to walk to the police chief's office. The three look at one another, hoping their findings can help solve the case. They walked through the department, while hectic as it is, to reach the chief's office. They prey this should make a break in the case of the missing Loud siblings.

2:46 p.m - Huron-Manistee National Forest, MI

A helicopter was flying in the sky, searching for the missing comic writer and illustrator, along with his ten sisters. In the helicopter was a pilot, with two officers on board for the search. The forest landscape was still white from the snow, yet green and brown was peeking from the melting snow. The officers were the ones doing the search, with the pilot just flying the helicopter.

"Find what you looking for?" asked the pilot, who was an elderly man with a long beard, with a brown cap and a headset. He was wearing a thick brown coat with blue jeans and brown boots.

"Not yet Billy. Dan and I were here before," said the first cop. He was wearing a navy blue Michigan police uniform, with a black windbreaker coat and dark grey gloves.

"You said it Bob," the second officer added. He was wearing clothes identical to Bob. "We were at Brohman when our chief requested us to join you for a search."

"What are you guys looking for?" Billy the pilot asked. "The snow still buried most of this place. You've been searching for an hour already."

"We need to search every inch of this place. It's a big case here in Michigan," Bob explained.

The helicopter is still scouting the forest. It's been an hour since Bob and Dan got in the helicopter. And it lasted an additional two hours when their chief called them to head back to the forest. They were just doing a simple patrol in the city. They were searching for any cabins and vehicles that could lead them to the missing family.

With all the search, they only saw just the natural wildlife and the many trees. It seems like Billy was right. They weren't getting anything. Their doubt was soon squashed when there was a shine light at ground level. The cops looked closer to see something that got their full attention.

"Billy found somewhere to land close to that light," Dan demanded.

"If it's going to give me a breather, then I'll get you guys there," Billy exclaimed.

The helicopter descended down slowly, with the air pushing the snow debris. The wind blades slowed down as well, right as the helicopter touched the ground. The debris was dispatched, giving room for the officers to exit out. Bob and Dan look around the isolated location they found themselves in. No shelters, no roads, no buildings, and no power lines. Just trees and the grounded white snow. All seems normal, yet the light was at a closer distance.

Bob and Dan moved north, with Billy exiting out of his vehicle for a smoke break. Keeps the elder pilot distracted from the long day he had. The two officers was march, getting closer to the light. When they got close enough, they realized something wrong. The light was a small sun flare. The flare was from a reflection by something metal. A metal piece was peaking from the large pile of snow.

Quickly, the two officers rushed to the large pile. They begin to brush off some snow off with their glove covered hands. When they brush off bit of snow, they saw that the metal piece belong to a car. A blue car that was flipped over with scratches on it. The two officers looked at each other, before they continue to brush off as many snow as they can.

For a few minutes, they managed to take off most of the snow. The car now was accessible for the two officers. They saw the door was broken in, a sign this couldn't be a natural accident. Bob open the door, deciding to look on the upside down car. The interior of the car was better looking than the exterior, yet Bob noticed dried drops of blood on the leather seats. He was a bit shooken, but he wanted to know who's car was it.

He moved in to the passenger side, where he reach for the glove department. He opened it, which a small pile of papers landed on the officer. Bob grabbed them to search for the information he needed. It didn't take long to see who was registered to the car. Bob's eyes widen, and he started exiting out of the car.

"Dan call in the chief!" Bob shouted.

"What's going on Bob," Dan asked, surprised by Bob's volume.

"I think we got something!" Bob showed Dan the registration documents. Dan's eyes widen at the revelation.

"H-Hey chief, we just might have found something!" Dan called through his walkie-talkie. "Looks like Santiago's theory was right. We found a damaged vehicle. The vehicle is registered under Lori Loud sir! They're somewhere here in the forest!"
