MePhone was in a much better mood the next day. He felt like a whole new person. Sure, he still felt terrible about the things that happened, and scared, he did nearly die, but...he feels like he could move past them. For once in his life, he actually felt free.

MePhone was out of bed much quicker this time, and he even folded his blanket neatly on the bed. He adjusted the frame, turned off his light, and opened the blinds. Since his arrival, he's had them closed, but it feels nice to have them open.

He looked at the mirror he recently installed in his room. He inhaled, put his hands on his hips, then smiled. Today is the day.

The crack of his screen breaking echoed in his head again. MePhone closed his eyes, hoping he could make it go away. It didn't. It just drew his attention, when he reopened his eyes, to the large break on his face. He put his hands on it. Despite it happening a week ago, it feels like it was just yesterday. When Cobs punched him. When he threatened to kill him. When he killed MePad. When he came back to ruin his life.

No, he can't let that bother him. He has to move on. He has to. But...it's hard. With the evidence written all over his face. With the evidence visible each and every day he gets u out of bed. With each and every day he breathes in the morning air. With each and every day he decided to keep going forward.

This has to change.

MePhone knocked on Two's door. "Two?" he asked. "Two, are you in there?"

"Oh, yeah," replied a sleepy Two. "You can come in."

"Did I wake you?" MePhone checked outside.

"No, no, I've been up for hours," Two replied, yawning.

"So...I can come in then?" MePhone checked.

"Yeah, yeah, come...come in," Two replied. He hesitated, his eyes popping open. "Wait! Wait a second! Don't come in!" Two fell out of bed, MePhone hearing another small 'ouch' from him. Two threw his blankets on his bed haphazardly, then scurried over to the chair in the corner. He threw a sheet on it. "Okay, come in!"

MePhone hesitated before opening the door. "You okay in here?" he asked.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine," Two said. He sat on the ground "What's up?"

"Um..." MePhone said, putting his arms in front of himself. "Remember that offer you gave me to get my screen changed?" Two's eyes widened and his smile grew. "You're gonna get your screen fixed?"

"Yeah," MePhone replied. "I figured, it's better than...wallowing in my...grief."

"I'm so happy!" Two cheered. "Let me find my wallet."

Two stood and shuffled around his room. His room isn't a mess, despite the chair in the corner with the sheet on it, and his bed being a disaster. It's actually surprisingly clean for his character. So, the fact he couldn't find his wallet was funny. Funny enough to make MePhone laugh. "What's so funny?" Two asked, pulling his wallet off the television stand.

"It's just funny you couldn't find your wallet!" MePhone replied. "Your room is so clean too!"

"I just forgot where I put it," Two replied. "Here."

Two bent down, handing MePhone two hundred in Yoyle Bills. "This should be enough, right?" Two asked. MePhone stared at it. "Y-you're going to pay all of it?" MePhone asked. He stood. "Two, y-you don't have to do that!"

"I want to!" Two replied, smiling. "I want to help you feel better! After all, it's what good friends do, right?"

"But, that's all of it!" MePhone cried.

"Oh, good, I thought it wasn't enough," Two sighed. He handed it to MePhone. "But...Two," MePhone said.

"Ah, ah, ah, don't worry about it!" Two smiled. He put the Yoyle Bills in MePhone's hand. He stared at them, then Two. "But-"

"Nope!" Two interrupted. He pushed MePhone all the way outside the hotel, taking the newly fixed elevator to get downstairs. "None of that! Go on! Get that screen changed! Have fun!"

"Two!" MePhone cried.

"See ya later!" Two replied, waving and closing the door. MePhone stared at the door. Two just paid for the entire thing. He...he wasn't supposed to do that. He could pay for it himself, with the leftover money he earned from Inanimate Insanity. But Two was stubborn, in a good way, he supposed. Stubborn enough to pay all of it himself.

MePhone couldn't argue. He did want his screen changed, but he'd feel bad using all of Two's money on it. He did give it to him though. Maybe it won't be so bad?

MePhone walked away again, a small hop in his stride. Today was gonna be the day where he changes his leaf. A new leaf.

MePhone came back a couple hours later. "Two? I'm coming in!" MePhone said. He opened the door, to see Two not inside. "Oh."

MePhone walked out of Two's room, closing the door behind him. "Where did he say he'd be if I can't find him?" MePhone thought for a minute. The only room he could remember to check is the kitchen, so he walked downstairs, but literally ran into Two in the hallway. They both fell backwards. "Ouch!" Two cried. "You okay?" he asked instinctively.

"Yeah, I'm fine," MePhone said, standing. "Oh, Two! I was actually looking for you!"

MePhone sounds happy this time. And he's back in the hotel. Did he actually go and get his screen changed? Two dusted himself off, then looked at MePhone. "Yea-" he gasped, "you did it! You got your screen changed! It's fixed!"

"Yeah, I did," MePhone replied, smiling "I actually feel much lighter."

"Hey, that's great!" Two cheered.

"You think so?" MePhone asked. "It doesn't look weird, does it? I've never had to change my screen before and I'm not too comfortable having other people touching my screen."

"No, no, it looks great!" Two smiled. "It's the perfect size!"

"Really?" MePhone asked. He exhaled. "That's a relief. They were asking me what kind of phone I was and when I told them I was a MePhone4 they gave me strange looks and said, 'We'll do the best we can,' and that made me really nervous that they did something wrong."

"Nope, it looks great!" Two reassured.

"And then they said I was an old model and that they had to improvise," MePhone continued.

"Yeah, that'd make me a little nervous too," Two admitted.

"Apparently, I need to be powered down to replace my screen," MePhone noted. "Which I guess makes sense but I never really thought about it. I mean, they are changing my face."

Two ran out of responses, so he didn't answer. "And I weirding you out?" MePhone asked.

"No," Two replied. "Just not quite sure how to answer to that."

"Oh, well, sorry," MePhone said. MePhone smiled. "You know what? I'm going to talk to Fanny!"

"You are?" Two asked, shocked. "I thought she intimidated you?"

"She does, but I'm in a much better mood!" MePhone replied. "Besides, she seems nice!"

"Well, have fun then!" Two exclaimed. "I'll be in my bedroom." Two happily walked upstairs. MePhone, meanwhile, walked downstairs. It's nice to feel this relived. His contestants would be proud of him. 4S would be proud of him. Better yet, he's proud of himself.

It doesn't eliminate the fact that he's had trauma and traumatic experiences, and, let alone, a bad childhood under Cobs' watch, but, it does relieve the pain. The pain of being alone. The pain of...everything.

MePhone walked outside, and inhaled. The smell of the spring air. It's much sweeter than before. It feels nicer. The wind is the perfect speed, and chill. It's not too warm, or too cold. The trees waving in the wind, creating the lightest sound of leaves rustling, gently swaying.

And the clouds. The clouds are always the best part of any sky. The fluffiness, the many colors they hold, the way they finish the sky, in a way that's almost too perfect, and how each cloud never looks the same. There's just something about them. Something that always make him happy.

MePhone walked over to Fanny, more confidence in his step since he's had since he returned from Invitational. "Fanny!" MePhone called. "Greetings!"

Fanny turned around, then looked up at him. She has a scowl, but it's not mean. It's just merely plastered to her face in a way that doesn't mean anything. "I hate it took you so long to talk to me!" she cried.

"Huh?" MePhone asked.

"I've wanted to talk to you!" Fanny replied, jumping into the air from the force of her voice.

"Oh, uh, sorry," MePhone replied. "I was just kinda...stressed." He didn't want to tell her he found her intimidating. That would seem weird. Especially since he's taller than her. And taller than Two, and...probably a bunch of others here. He's taller than most of his contestants as well. Just a few of them were taller, and most of them were in Invitational.

Fanny sat on the ground, so MePhone did as well. "Well, I'm all ears now, so you can go ahead," MePhone said. "Oh, I should probably introduce myself. I am MePhone4."

"You already know my name," Fanny replied. Even when she's not yelling, she still sounds angry. Two told him that's just how she is. Two told MePhone that he thinks when Fanny says she hates something, she probably likes it. "How did you and Two meet?" Fanny started.

"Well, we met when I was trying to go back to the season I left to make a third-"

"You made a season inside of a season?" Fanny asked.

"Yeah, it's," he chuckled, "a long story," MePhone admitted.

"I hate long stories!" Fanny cried.

"Anyway, he helped me calm down so I could focus, since I was so stressed," MePhone continued. "We kind of hung out in Florida for a while, we even went to Hollywood and New York, and then I went home."

"Where did you go earlier?" Fanny asked.

"I...uh, I went to get my screen fixed," MePhone admitted, confidently. "You might have noticed my screen was broken, well, Two helped me get it fixed. Now I feel much better!"

"Have you told anyone what happened?" Fanny asked, rather seriously. The question caught MePhone off guard.

"What?" MePhone asked.

"Have you told anyone what happened to you?" Fanny asked. MePhone stared at her. "Talking to people, especially after a bad situation, can really help someone feel better. Even if it's just a little. And changing something that was damaged won't be enough. Having someone nearby to help you can make a difference. You should tell Two. Two keeps secrets, and he can sympathize with you."

MePhone was shocked. He didn't expect such a philosophical answer from her. Her. Out of all people, she was the last person he would've expected to be philosophical. "Uh, yeah, actually, I did tell Two," MePhone said, his eyebrows raised. "I...I wasn't expecting that from you."

"I don't hate everything," Fanny replied. "Just most things. Like waiting, and mint, and spicy things, and sea food, and dancing-"

She kept naming off things she didn't like, but MePhone sat and listened to each one. Perhaps he should've talked to Fanny before. She could've given him sound advice. It would've actually been helpful too.

Fanny finished talking and walked away. Of course, she said goodbye, sort of, to MePhone before doing so. MePhone thanked her for the talk and went to his room. Tomorrow is going to be great. He can feel it.
