"Come, Sarah. I have something to show you. You can unpack your things later." Jareth took her hand. Without waiting for an answer, he led her out of the castle.

The fresh air hit them, and Sarah looked around, fascinated. The surroundings were strangely familiar, and yet they seemed to be imbued with a new magic. Memories flooded her mind as she recalled her previous journey. Each step brought back images – of friends, trials, and a time when she had been a different girl.

"Where are we going?" she asked, unable to hide the curiosity in her voice.

Jareth raised his eyebrows, an amused glint in his eyes, and blinked at her conspiratorially. "You'll see."

Sarah followed him until they came to a place that seemed strangely familiar. Her heart began to beat faster as the realization penetrated her mind. Not far from here lay the Bog of Eternal Stench. She stopped abruptly, and since Jareth was holding her hand, he had to stop too.

"Sarah." His voice was soft, as if he had sensed what she was feeling. "I know what you're thinking. Don't be afraid. Nothing here is the same as it used to be."

He stepped closer, took her face in his hands and gently kissed her forehead. His thumbs gently stroked her cheeks, and there was a soothing warmth in his touch.

"But... but... the Bog..." Sarah stammered, looking at him with a mixture of fear and disbelief. She remembered Ludo holding his nose and let out a roaring "SMEEEEEEEELL."

"The Bog no longer exists," Jareth reassured her with a hint of pride in his voice. "Even I could not stand it any more. So I destroyed it and made room for something beautiful. Come, see for yourself."

He took her hand again, this time with a tenderness that seemed to dispel Sarah's doubts, and led her on. They passed through a garland of lush plants, their green leaves falling before them like a curtain.

When she stepped to the other side, her breath caught in her throat.

The place that had once been gloomy and forbidding was unrecognizable. Plants of the brightest colours bloomed everywhere, flowers of all shapes and sizes proliferated in harmonious chaos. Butterflies of all the colours of the rainbow danced through the air, and the soft hum of bumblebees and the burbling of a stream formed a soothing melody.

Sarah slowly turned around, taking in every detail. It was as if the air itself was filled with love and devotion.

When she finally turned to Jareth, he was leaning casually against a tree trunk. His eyes followed her with a look full of affection and pride.

Slowly he walked towards her, stopped in front of her and kissed her gently on the lips. "Do you like it here?"

Sarah nodded, unable to find words as her heart seemed to overflow with joy and gratitude.

"I did it for you, Sarah. This place belongs to you alone. It is your personal refuge. You can do whatever you want here. Expand it, change it, shape it as you like."

Sarah's eyes widened in surprise and she looked at him speechless. "What? This... this is all mine?"

Her voice broke and tears welled in her eyes.

Jareth immediately stepped closer and took her in his arms. "Sarah," he whispered worriedly. "What's wrong?"

She wrinkled her nose and managed a slight smile. "Those are tears of joy, Jareth. It's beautiful. Thank you so much," she whispered, leaning her head against his chest. She felt his wildly pounding heart, filling her with happiness.

"I'm happy, Jareth," she whispered, closing her eyes.

Jareth kissed her cheek, and a smile played on his lips. "I am too, Sarah. Very, very happy."
