Long ago, humanity came close to being decimated by the demons, but one mage saved mankind.

He was known thereafter as the Wizard King, and became a legend.

Throughout the land, a mighty blizzard howled. Thick flakes of snow raging along the wind, blanketing every surface with a cold layer of white. All forms of plant life becoming crystalline, frozen to the point of dying. Even the very ground itself froze over, creating an ice quake as a result.

This was the condition of the Clover Kingdom, once a lush field of greenery and bustling villages around the royal capital, now devoid of all life as its people took shelter in their homes from the seemingly endless storm.

Why was this happening? What was causing such destruction?

Better yet… Who?

"Ahh… What an absolutely flawless achievement!"

A voice could be heard despite the howling storm. The voice sounded male. A snooty and rather flamboyant tone laced it. A section of the storm cleared to reveal the culprit.

An avian-like creature with white feathers, turquoise eyes and beak, and periwinkle hair. It wore a bright blue fur vest with a navy blue undershirt. It also adorned a turquoise colored crown and a fluffy snow white cloak with long tail feathers behind it.

The creature curled its beak into a pleased smile and rested its hand gently under its chin.

"Just look at this. I must say, this has to be my finest work yet!" He giggled.

The creature snapped its fingers, what appeared to be a book appeared before it, surrounded by an aqua blue aura. The pages flipped and a chair of pure ice was conjured behind him. The creature sat down, crossing his legs and resting his head against the back of the chair.

"An entire world, frozen by an eternal storm, never to know the warmth of the sun again. Humans across the land slowly freezing to death, crying in hopelessness as they watch their loved one perish before them one by one… Ah~ It just makes me tingle!"

Despite his cheery and pleasured tone, his words carried heartless and unimaginable cruelty. Cruelty only someone with a head of ice can express.

"If Stella were here, she'd have her panties in a bunch over how successful I am! That much is for sure!"

He let out a rather pompous laugh. "Now all that's left to do is sit back and enjoy the show!"

"Sorry to ruin your fun."

The creature stopped laughing. He turned his head to the rear. Someone was standing behind him atop the hill of snow he sat atop.

A human male, and a young one at that. He couldn't have been older than seventeen, with messy black hair, gold eyes and he has a lean build. His entire body was draped in a splendid robe of gold and navy blue, all with an insignia of a rising sun on the upper left of the robe.

"Are you the one who's doing this to the Clover Kingdom?" Asked the human. His tone was completely devoid of emotion.

"Excuse me, do you mind? I am trying to enjoy the view here. Do me a favor and run along to mommy and daddy." The creature replied, his hand gesturing to the human to go away.

The human squinted. "I asked you a question, you feathery freak."

The bird's eyes widened. It seemed that this human calling him a 'freak' touched a nerve. The bird stood up from his chair and turned around fully. His face scrunched in anger.

"What?! What did you just say to me?! You filthy hu-"

The bird creature was suddenly engulfed in a powerful vortex of wind. He felt as though he was inside of a tornado. This wasn't his doing though. This was the human.

Hovering in front of the teen was a book of his own, glowing with a green aura and the insignia of a four leaf clover on the cover.

The creature was surprised. This boy could use magic, just like he could. "Oh my. You're a wizard. I wasn't expecting that."

"No. I'm not." The boy corrected as the wind gathered around him. "I'm a Magic Knight."

With a swing of his hand, the vortex dissipated. The creature was impressed to say the least.

"Well, regardless of whatever you identify yourself as, your abilities are quite intriguing, young man. I'm impressed." He complimented, clapping his hands in applause.

There was no reaction from the human regarding this act. His face stayed expressionless.

"My name is Andrealphus, of the great Goetia family." The bird bowed as he introduced himself. "Who might you be?"

The snow finally cleared. The bird was getting a fully unhindered view of the human before him. Andrealphus' jaw dropped to the floor. He couldn't believe how handsome this human was. Those perfectly sculpted cheekbones, eyes as golden as the sun, hair as dark as ebony, and that 'I'm too cool to care' expression gave him more chills than the cold around them.

"Holy fucking shit! For a human, you're cute! I could eat you with a spoon!"

"NO WAY! BACK OFF! YUNO'S OFF THE MARKET!"

Out of nowhere came a small pixie creature, blond hair, and clothed in a green dress. The pixie was pouting angrily at Andrealphus like a jealous schoolgirl.

"Listen here, you big blue peacock! My Yuno isn't interested in some pompous bag of feathers with scrawny arms and acts like he's better than everyone and probably has a 'thing' no bigger than his pinky finger! So don't even bother trying! You got it?!"

"Bell, I wasn't even the slightest bit interested…"

Andrealphus took a closer inspection of the pixie. He recognized her.

"Sylph? Isn't this a cold day in Hell. When did you get released from your scroll?"

Sylph, or Bell, glared angrily at Andrealphus, who was smiling back arrogantly.

"None of your business is when, Andre!" Bell shouted.

"You know this guy?" Asked Yuno.

The human received a nod from the pixie. "Yeah. He's a demon from the Underworld, and a high ranking one at that." Bell explained. "Andrealphus and his species are considered royalty down there, and he's an expert at Ice Magic."

Yuno turned his gaze back to Andre. He really is the one generating this blizzard. Some kind of spell, perhaps? If it is, then to perform one of this magnitude so easily. This demon was powerful.

"Is that so…" Muttered Yuno.

Andre smirked amusingly. "Yuno, is it? If Sylph is willing to join up with you, and if it's not just for your looks, then you must be an exceptionally powerful human. It's not every day one gets to work with a Nature Spirit after all."

The pages on Yuno's book began to flip. The teen was suddenly engulfed by a shining light. Within seconds, Yuno's whole body glowed green, a pair of ethereal wings appeared attached to his back and a crown of green light hovered over his head. Even his eyes turned a bright green.

*SPIRIT DIVE: SAINT STAGE*

"Why don't you stick around and find out for yourself?"

Yuno's tone was now more hostile. Andre was amused by the threat given by the human, making him giggle in response.

"What's this? You're drawing off Sylph's power? Oh no! Whatever shall I do?" Andre sarcastically and over dramatically panicked before his face turned to a scowl. "Are you really threatening me, boy? Do you have any idea how powerful I am?"

Yuno raised his left arm at Andre. His palm opened and glowed with green light.

"I know that you're the one maintaining this storm. So all I have to do is defeat you and the spell will be broken."

Andre let out an annoyed sigh. "You can try. What a shame to have to kill someone so handsome." He raised his right arm at Yuno. It was engulfed in freezing energy.

*WIND SPIRIT MAGIC: SPIRIT STORM*

*DEMON ICE MAGIC: CHILLING WINDS OF COCYTUS*

Two large rays of energy collided. The clash caused the snow all around them to scatter, generating a swirling gust of freezing wind. Both rays were staying strong during their standoff, neither side giving way to the other.

"Oh? It would seem that Sylph chose well with you, Boy. You're strong." Andre said.

"Of course I did! There's no one out there that's better than my Yuno!" Bell replied confidently.

Yuno snapped the fingers on his right hand. Two large orbs of green energy appeared behind Andre.

*MANA ZONE: SPIRIT STORM DOUBLE*

The orbs fired off two more magical beams. The attack coming from behind, you would think Andre would have no way of countering this. However, the demon managed to conjure a thick wall of ice behind him to protect himself. The beams hit the wall, not even leaving a crack in it, but the resulting explosion was of massive proportion.

Once the smoke finally cleared, Yuno charged across the snow towards Andre, his eyes overflowing with bloodlust. With a quick motion of his hands, green energy gathered in his grasp, quickly taking shape until it formed into a massive green halberd.

*WIND SPIRIT CREATION MAGIC: SPIRIT OF BOREAS*

Yuno swung his weapon down hard, however Andre merely backed away and dodged. The impact caused the snow on the ground to erupt into a large cloud. Andre smirked in smugness. He was enjoying this fight. The halberd then flew through the snow Andre like it were a magic homing missile. The Goetia raised his hand. The halberd stopped dead in its tracks and froze almost instantly and shattered into pieces.

This however was what Yuno planned on. Behind Andre was a golden star that he didn't even notice. Yuno suddenly appeared behind the bird demon as if he had teleported.

*STAR MAGIC: CONJUNCTION*

This was his chance to strike. Yuno used his magic to conjure another weapon. This time it was a longsword.

*WIND SPIRIT CREATION MAGIC: SPIRIT OF ZEPHYR*

Yuno used every ounce of his strength and swung his blade at Andre's neck. One quick swipe will lob off his head. The blade was but one INCH from his neck, but suddenly, the space between them was filled in by ice. The sword was stuck.

Andre chuckled. He was slightly surprised. He did not expect that Yuno had two different magic attributes. Wind AND Star. An interesting combination. He could hide it all he wanted, but the golden glow from within his uniform gave it away. That was his Spade Grimiore.

Andre swung his hand backwards. It created a tremendously powerful gust of freezing wind that blew Yuno away a vast distance. The wizard recovered quickly and flew back to the battleground at blinding speed.

'He doesn't look it, but he IS powerful. One thing is for certain, I don't think I can beat him on my own, even with the Saint Stage...' Yuno thought.

Andre snapped his fingers and began to spin around like he was dancing. Small blades of ice began to form all around him before the demon fired them off all at once at his opponent.

*DEMON ICE CREATION MAGIC: SHURIKENS OF THE LADY IN WHITE*

There were so many of them. They wouldn't be easy to dodge, and there wasn't enough time to activate Conjunction again. Good thing Yuno had another technique. He spun midair. The human was shifting and slipping in between the blades by carefully controlling the air around him and using small but powerful gusts of wind.

*WIND SPIRIT MAGIC: MANA ZONE: SPIRIT'S HUSHED DANCE*

Such beautiful movements. Andre was left breathless. If it were up to him, he would have kept Yuno as his servant for all forms of entertainment. He felt like it was such a waste to kill such a talented young man.

Yuno had managed to make it through all the blades unscathed. He was now hovering in the air above Andre, glaring at the bird.

'Good thing he's already on his way. He just takes forever, as usual.'

'Hmm. How odd. Why did he suddenly stop?' Andre wondered.

Suddenly, Andre felt a sense of dread wash over him that made the bird flinch. What was this sensation? Why was he feeling it so abruptly? Andre turned to his back. His ears filled with the sound of yelling at the highest possible volume.

Someone was coming. He knew, but why couldn't he sense them? That was when they arrived, screaming as loud as they could.

"YUNOOOOOO!"

It was another human, also young. Rather short, but exceptionally muscular. He had spiky ash blonde and green eyes, as well as two rather large scars on his stomach and chest.

He wore a black, tight-fitting shirt that covered his shoulders, upper arms, and some of his chest. It was open in the middle and had a gold clover on the right side. Over this, he wore a robe draped over his left shoulder and attached by a red cord that wraps around his neck. His headband has three red-colored, four-pointed stars on the front right side and the Black Bull insignia on the left. He also wears a pair of black, high-waisted pants that are tucked into knee-high boots and a large, brown, double-pronged belt, from which hangs his grimoire pouch. Another feature is that his left arm was completely covered by a leather sleeve.

The boy was riding atop a large black sword like it were a surfboard, and when I say that the sword was large, I mean LARGE. It was as big as a man, but very rusty as well.

Yuno was grinning happily at the boy's emergence. "Asta, that bird guy is behind all of this!" he shouted.

The black wizard, Asta looked down at Andre. He could see the grimoire next to him glowing blue. Yuno was right.

"That so?" Asta grunted. 'Whoa. That bird's Ki is so cold. I could feel it all the way from the capital.'

"Oh lovely! How many more of you humans do I have to- Oh. Oh my."

Andre was now just getting a much better look at Asta. More accurately, his body. His absolutely DELICIOUS body. He swore he could see every line along those glorious muscles, from his meaty pecs, to his washboard abs, all the way to those firm and perfectly rounded butt cheeks. Asta's arms may as well have been legs with how well built they were. Andre could already feel those bulging biceps in his hands. It didn't help how handsome Asta was either

The Goetia couldn't hold it back. His nose started to gush blood like a fountain, staining the snow beneath him blue.

'Fuck me! Hello, beefcake!' Andre thought.

Asta was circling around in the air, examining the demon in full. He didn't look that menacing, but he knew better than to judge an opponent by their outward appearance. Not only that, if Yuno was having difficulties with this fight, and Asta knew just how capable that guy is, then that would mean he truly would need to be careful.

"What in the hell is an Ars Goetia doing here?"

A new voice joined the fight. It came from a small creature on Asta's right shoulder. A tiny demon creature. Its body was pitch black all over with spiky white hair, red eyes, teeny little wings, a long trident tipped tail, and two little ram horns. It also had the same chest scar as Asta. From the tone of its voice, the demon was male.

"Liebe, you know what kinda demon that is?" Asta asked his little devil.

"They're among the strongest demons in the Underworld, and total snobs at that!" Replied Liebe in an angry tone.

"I think I already figured out that last part. He looks like even more of a snooty jerk than Noelle's brother."

"Which one? Nozel or Solid?"

"Is there even a difference?" Joked Yuno as he flew up next to them.

Back on the ground, Andre noticed something about Asta. He couldn't feel a single shred of magic coming from him. Was he just not sensing it from where he stood, or does Asta just have a very small amount that it couldn't be detected.

Not only that. On his shoulder was a demon. An Imp to be specific. Why? Why was there an imp partnered up with a human? Andre had many questions.

"There'll be time to joke later. Let's just take this bird down and fry him up for dinner!" Asta shouted, feeling pumped up with energy.

Yuno nodded in compliance. The two of them dove straight towards Andre, yelling at the top of their lungs. Andre grunted in annoyance. He raised his hands, unleashing an absolutely titanic orb of freezing energy at them.

*DEMON ICE MAGIC: HOWLING EUROPA*

The orb was racing straight towards the young wizards. Asta however seemed to only accelerate as he leaped off his sword and took hold of the hilt.

"Let's do this, pal!" Asta shouted in confidence.

"Hell yeah!" Responded Liebe, just as confident.

It was long before Asta was enveloped in a wave of black energy. Soon enough, Asta reemerged, completely changed. His whole body was now covered head to toe in some sort of black chiten with glowing red marking all across him. Claws and talons adorned his hands and feet, a trident tail sprouted from his reer, his hair turned a deep black and four horns grew out from his skull. Asta's face was painted with streaks of black, his eyes red with cross shaped pupils of red, and behind him were two black wings of energy.

*DEVIL UNION*

Andre was utterly astonished. Asta had changed into a demon before his eyes. He believed that was impossible.

Asta took hold of his Demon Slayer Sword and started pumping his Anti Magic into it. The blade was growing in size, more and more, until it was the size of a building.

*ANTI MAGIC: DEMON SLAYER SWORD: BLACK DIVIDER*

The demonic wizard summoned every ounce of strength in his body to swing such a colossal blade. He hit the ice orb head on with the side of the sword, deflecting it right back at Andre as if he was hitting a baseball.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!"

The Goetia's own spell was heading right back at him. Andre had no choice but to fly away before impact. He dashed off so fast that he appeared invisible. The orb hit the ground and exploded on impact, leaving nothing behind but massive ice spikes from the explosion.

Andre was now flying in the air as well, glaring at both Asta and Yuno angrily. Asta's sword had returned to normal size within mere seconds.

"Damnit! I wasn't expecting an attack like that." Andre squawked.

"Plenty more where that came from, bird brain. I'm full of surprises!" Asta shouted.

His voice was obnoxiously loud, and so high pitched it was annoying. Andre couldn't help but wince with every word Asta said.

"Hmm. I don't sense any magic coming from you boy. Do you lack mana?" Andre asked curiously.

"Yep. That's right. I'm 100% mana free here."

That was rather astonishing to say. Asta lacked the ability to use magic, yet he was so powerful. Andre had never witnessed such an anomaly before. He was as humored as he was intrigued.

"And you, sad little Imp. Why in Lucifer's name are you helping these little human shits? Are you mentally challenged or something?"

Andre was referring to Liebe. The small devil laughed evilly at the Goetia.

"Why the hell do I need to explain things to a pampered and privileged little piece of shit like yourself?! You're gonna be dead soon anyway, so I don't have to tell you anything!"

That remark struck a chord in Andre. The veins on his head were starting to show from how angry he was getting.

"Excuse me?! You insignificant piece of Imp trash! How dare you!" The bird shouted.

Liebe only giggled in amusement at Andre's freak out. Despite being a demon himself, Liebe couldn't stand his own kind. He took pleasure in eradicating them, mostly due to his own past. "That all you got? I've been called way worse than that!"

"*ten seconds long bleep*"

…Well… that was a new one. The moment that remark hit their ears, Asta had his jaw dropped in the most shock he had experienced in his entire life. Never had he heard such a foul and hurtful insult in his life! He could only feel sorry for Liebe.

"How can you say… Agh! Later. Right now, I gotta know! Why are you doing this to the Clover Kingdom?! Answer me right now!" Asta demanded.

Andre's beak curled into a sadistic smirk and his eyes squinted.

"Why? That's obvious, boy. Because I can!"

At that moment, his heart skipped a beat. A spark of anger slowly igniting within him.

"When you're a demon of the great Goetia family, you can do whatever you want. Kill whoever you want. You have all the power and money in the world to get away with anything, even causing suffering and agony to the humans of the living world without consequence. I have to say, those times where I see families just huddling together naked just keep warm. Hahaha! Fucking hilarious! I can't help but laugh!"

Such cold words. Such black hearted cruelty. Utter disregard for life. Asta couldn't stand it. His rage was becoming like a wildfire, blazing out of control until it would become too much. A hand was placed on Asta's shoulder comfortingly. It was Yuno's hand.

"Don't let him get to you. You're only giving him what he wants."

Asta quickly got a hold of himself again. His anger quelled, but his grip on his sword remained strong.

"Alright. What's the plan?" Asta asked his rival.

"Andre's storm is the result of a spell, likely a Mana Zone, given the sheer scale of it."

Asta snickered. Andre? That was the devil's name? That was pretty funny.

"Then that would mean if I can destroy his grimoire with my sword, the spell will come undone." Asta stated.

The muscular wizard waved his free hand. A grimoire appeared before him. It was black and rather tarnished, making it resemble an ancient tome. This grimoire also had a clover on it, but it was black and had five leaves instead of three or four, and was shrouded in a black and red aura.

The pages of the grimoire flipped. From within its papers appeared a rusted sword hilt. Asta grabbed hold of it and drew the sword within. This one was a one handed broadsword, black and rusted, just like Demon Slayer.

*DEMON DWELLER SWORD*

Asta was now wielding both blades in his arms, swinging the dense and heavy blades like batons.

"Then let's get down to business. Yuno, you think you can keep him still long enough for me to go in for the kill?"

Yuno chuckled. "Who do you think you're talking to, you idiot? Besides, I've been itching to try out this new spell."

The smile on Asta's face grew. The two mages charged full speed, ready for battle.

"Then let's do this!" The muscular wizard exclaimed. "Future Wizard King Asta is comin' through!"

"Fat chance! I'm the one who's one who's gonna be the Wizard King!" Yuno corrected.

Andre in the meantime was already casting a spell. A powerful quintuple barrage of freezing lasers that he had just fired off.

*DEMON ICE MAGIC: NORTH STAR COMETS*

"Whatever you stupid little shits are arguing about, I don't really care! Now, fucking die!"

To counter, Asta swung his Demon Dweller and fired off slash shaped projectiles while Yuno summoned a green energy bow and shot multiple arrows of solidified wind.

*BLACK SLASH*

*WIND SPIRIT CREATION MAGIC: SPIRIT OF EUROS*

All their projectiles collided, generating a powerful mid-air explosion.

Asta was just flying straight through the smoke cloud towards Andre. The mage screamed at the top of his lungs.

He swung both his swords at the Goetia. Andre easily dodged the blades, but Asta wasn't through. He kept up the assault on the bird. Asta continued slashing and hacking. Andre was easily able to avoid each and everyone one of Asta's attacks. He looked as if he was elegantly dancing on ice.

"Please. What are you trying to hit, you little stud muffin?" Andre taunted.

"You're about to find out!"

The demon flew backwards. He failed to notice what was all around him. Stars. Many of them. Andre eventually took notice. There were several stars forming a circle around him, closing in quickly. He was clueless as to what was going on now? That was when Yuno struck.

*STAR BINDING MAGIC: QUARTILE ORION*

The stars light up gold. They fired off thin rays of cosmic energy at Andre. The energy formed a ring and quickly closed in around him until Andre was rendered immobile. The Goetia struggled against the ring binding him, but the mana it was made from was too dense. His frail physical strength wasn't going to break it.

Yuno flew up next to Asta. "Please don't miss." He said.

Asta grinned. "I won't!"

The black mage bolted straight at Andre. The demon let out a loud squawk of fright before Asta's Demon Slayer Sword cleaved through the blue grimoire floating next to Andre.

*BLACK METEORITE*

The Anti Magic radiating off of the sword tore through the magically protected pages of the grimoire as if they were ordinary paper. The mana all around the book was erased completely.

Andre couldn't believe what he had just seen. Right before his eyes, his most treasured artifact, his Ars Goetia Grimoire, had just been destroyed by a human. A human with no magic! He was overcome with the utmost of shock and disbelief.

"You lose, jerk!"

Yuno's binding spell came undone. Andre fell to the ground below, landing right onto his tail section. It wasn't long before the blizzard finally ceased. The dark clouds above began to part, allowing the warm rays of the sun to shine to finally shine down on the land beneath.

Asta and Yuno flew back to the ground, fist bumping each other for their triumphant victory over their foe. Andre meanwhile, was still in absolute horror and disgust.

"My… My grimoire..! No! This isn't happening! THIS CAN'T BE FUCKING HAPPENING TO ME!"

The sheer rage in Andre's Voice was unrivaled. Never in his life had he ever been more humiliated. If Stella was to find out that Andre had lost to two humans who weren't even out of puberty yet, she would never let him live it down. His reputation would be ruined.

"It's over, Andrealphus." Said Yuno.

Andre glared at the two wizards angrily. Without his grimoire, he couldn't use any decent spells. He couldn't win against them now. The bird had no choice but to flee… for now.

"Far from it, human!"

The demon pulled something from his coat. A small black gem. Andre pointed the gem at the space behind him. Suddenly, a tear in the fabric of space itself opened. Asta and Yuno were both left shocked by this phenomenon. How did Andre do that? Spatial Magic?

"I'll be back, you brats! I will return with an army of a thousand Goetia by my side! Your putrid world will burn in the fires of Hell, as it should! Until next time, Asta and Yuno!" Andre spat their names as he retreated into the portal, vanishing from sight entirely.

Asta let out an enraged grunt. His leg muscles tensed up and he launched himself at blinding speeds.

"You're not going anywhere, you icy creep!" He screamed.

"Asta, what are you doing?" Yuno exclaimed, reaching out to his comrade. "If what he said is true, then we can't just charge in after him! We need to fall back and come up with a plan of attack!"

"I have a plan! ATTACK!"

Asta was moving fast. Too fast. Yuno wouldn't be able to stop him in time. Andre could even see Asta charging through the sloop space within the tear and was in full blown panic mode.

"WHAT IN LUCIFER'S ASSHOLE?!"

"ANDREEEEEE! I'M NOT DONE WITH YOU YET!"

The demonic wizard flew straight into the tear just seconds before it closed back up and vanished from existence.

"Asta! Liebe!"

It was too late. They were both gone.

"Eek! Where'd they go?!" Cried Bell.

Dread washed over Yuno. Dread for his rival, his friend. His fists tightened. Asta was gone, and Yuno did nothing but watch as he just charged head first into…

"I have a pretty good guess… Captain Yami's gonna kill me…"

The world around them was nothing more than a void of pure red, one that seemed to stretch on forever. Asta and Andre both tumbled across the world of crimson, locked in a struggle of dominance. Asta had Demon Dweller's tip digging into Andre's shoulder, while Andre was using every bit of his own strength to try and push the Anti Magic sword out of his body. This proved a challenge since, as long as the blade was making contact with him, Andre couldn't cast any spells.

"You filthy human garbage!" Screamed the bird demon in disgust and anger. "How dare you lay your wretched hands upon me!"

"You're not getting away! Not after what you did!" Shouted Asta back.

That blizzard lasted an entire month. So many innocent lives ended up freezing to death. Many of them Asta knew. His comrades, neighbors, friends. His squadmate, Luck almost ended up becoming a popsicle himself if it were not for the aid of Captain Fuegolion Vermillion, who fragmented his Fire Spirit, Salamander into multiple pieces and scattered them across the city. Letting Andre escape without repenting for the lives he took would be an insult to their memory.

"This one's for Luck!"

Asta pushed his sword in deeper. Andre cried in pain. The Goetia twisted his body however and Asta was flung away from Andre. The sword slid out from his shoulder, spewing out a blue substance Asta could only assume was Andre's blood.

A growl of frustration escaped Asta's throat. He almost had him.

"Bastard! Don't think for a minute that I don't find you! You're going down!" Shouted the wizard.

Andre scoffed. "Don't make me laugh, you shitty little cur! You won't last ten seconds down in Hell! You may as well give up before the Overlords tear you to shreds!"

"I'll last longer than you will, bird brain! Just you wait!"

Asta fell deeper into the void, but his scowl of anger would forever remain in Andre's memory, as did the boy's next words.

"MY MAGIC IS NEVER GIVING UP!"

That said, he disappeared into the void.

Slowly, Asta's eyes began to open up again. His vision was blurred, but he was able to make out something in his field of view. Several glowing lines to be specific. Despite his foggy vision, Asta could make out what the lines were.

It was… a pentagram?

"Asta! Asta!"

A voice rang through his ears. It sounded like Liebe.

"Wake up, you ninety percent idiot! Open your eyes!"

Finally, Asta fully opened his eyes. He found that he was in the sky. More accurately, he was falling!

Falling? How? He could fly in Devil Union- THE DEVIL UNION! It came undone while he was out. The transformation only lasts five minutes before Asta returns to normal. Now he was plummeting to the ground like an asteroid.

"GAH! What the hell?!" He screamed.

Liebe flew up right beside the human, still tiny as a field mouse.

"Hurry up and use the Demon Slayer Sword, dumbass! Before you end up a pulp on the pavement!" The little devil urged frantically.

Asta reached for his grimoire, drawing his mighty greatsword and placing his feet on the blade's side. The wizard's fall came to a screeching halt as the sword instantly started to levitate. Asta sighed in relief.

"Phew! That was too close…"

While airborne, Asta examined his surroundings. The sky was a bloody red tint, riddled with black clouds. On the ground below, a massive metropolis stretching farther than Asta can see. Run down buildings and broken roads, all accompanied by inhuman creatures of countless numbers. The entire place screamed hopeless. Let's not forget the gigantic billboard that stood atop a building that read, 'Goat an asshole in the living worlds!? Come to I am pee!!!?!! Make sure you put this billboard on the rite side. Don't fuck this up. Also, payment may take a couple of weeks because it cums in the mail. -SPEECH TO TEXT- -BLITZO-'

"Where the hell are we?" Asta wondered.

"You just answered your own question." Liebe pointed out.

Confusion overcame Asta. What did he mean by that? Then… it hit him like a train.

"Wait… Liebe… Are we..?"

The little devil sighed in frustration.

"Asta… Welcome to Hell."

"Just my luck…"
