Hiding his nervousness, Xander stepped forward again. "We're not going anywhere until we see Mrs. Summers and Dawn. Once we're certain that they haven't been harmed in any way, whatsoever, we will allow you to check us for injuries and to satisfy yourself that we have not been compromised by your enemy. Both are reasonable requests, provided your exam does not include any of the following; needles, either to draw blood or to inject anything. Any attempts to subdue us or experiment on us will be met with a great big Oh, Hell no! and we will exit your reality with the quickness. Any attempts to stop us doing so will be met with extreme resistance and, as the expression goes, God have mercy on your souls, because we sure as Hell won't."

Between Teal'c's version of a ringing endorsement and the six flat eyed looks the teenagers were directing his way, Colonel Jack O'Neill suddenly understood just how these kids had eliminated a large portion of their enemy.

Sheer chutzpah. Along with strength of will, courage and absolute refusal to stand down. Did these kids exist in his own reality? If they did, once they were old enough maybe he should try to recruit them to the Stargate Program.

He'd give them six months to destroy the Gou'ald. At most.

"I absolutely agree with everything you've just said, including the blanket condemnation of needles and if it was up to me I'd agree. Unfortunately, it's up to our boss, General Hammond. And I would dearly love to begin any encounter I have with a new planet by saying the same thing but I'd be Court Martialed and Daniel would nag me until I shot him."

"Jack!"

"I dare you to deny it."

"Humph."

"Didn't think so. I'm Colonel Jack O'Neill, by the way and you are?"

"We're the Scoobies." Xander answered. "I'm Alexander Harris, you can call me Xander. The bottle blond -."

"Hey!"

"-is Buffy Summers, the Slayer, daughter of Joyce, older sister of Dawn. To her left is my girlfriend, Cordelia Chase, Bitch Queen of Sunnydale High and Cheer Captain. Next to her is Oz, just Oz. Amy Madison is the girl Johnathan Levinson is holding. Amy's exhausted and needs rest to recover, so the sooner we can get this over with, the sooner we can get home."

"We have a job to do back home and time may be running out." Buffy told them.

"On what?" Jack asked.

"If we're too late," Xander responded gravely and a bit dramatically. "nothing less than the end of the world."

"Yeah," Jack nodded seriously. "We tend have a couple of those yearly ourselves."

"I never thought I'd have to learn the plural of apocalypse." Xander nodded as the door on one side of the large cement lined room they were in slid open and to his relief, Dawn and Mrs. Summers cam in. Dawn ran to him immediately.

"See, I told you they would come!" She hugged him before moving down the line hugging each Scooby in turn, once Buffy was done checking her little sister over she moved to hug her mother. Who was immediately surrounded by the remaining Scoobies waiting their turn to hug her themselves.

Buffy tucked her retracted staff into her pocket and turned to Colonel O'Neill. "Does this mean your boss agrees to our terms?"

"It does." A voice boomed over the intercom. "And my personal thanks for helping my people get back to us and protecting them."

"You're welcome!" Buffy cheerfully called back. "So, lead the way, Mr. Colonel, Sir."

"Is your title really Slayer?" He asked, as he led the group out of the gateroom.

"Yep." She popped the p. At least since the vampires ceased to be.

"And you're dating a girl who's title is Bitch Queen?" He asked Xander.

"Self proclaimed." He grinned. "And yeah, I am." He wound his fingers through Cordelia's as she set an unbloodied part of the sword in her other hand against her shoulder and beamed a smile at him.

"The Scoobies, huh?"

"Shows more imagination than SG1." Xander retorted.

"True, but I didn't name my team, some pencil neck probably did. Well, here's the infirmary and I can safely say this encounter with another reality has been just as interesting in it's own way as the first two. But why is it that whenever we do encounter another reality they're dealing with an end of the world crisis of their own?"

"Good question." Xander agreed. "After all, once is an accident, twice is a coincidence -"

"Three times is enemy action. My point exactly."

"Oh my gods." Daniel muttered in horror. "There's two of them!" He whimpered softly.

"Indeed." Teal'c intoned. "Formidable warriors. And the Force is strong with them."

"Star wars!" Johnathan and Xander both yelped. "Thank the gods, good movies are universal!" Xander exclaimed.

"Indeed."

"I'm going to miss this reality." Xander decided later as he prepared to open a new portal to home. "It sure as Hell beats Dawnie's last mix up."

"Xander! You swore you'd never mention that again!" Dawn was fast developing a formidable glare of her own and in a few years it would be scorching. Right now it was still kinda cute.

"What happened with her last mix up?" Jack asked curiously.

"The dinosaur killing asteroid never hit Earth." Xander answered tossing a grin toward Dawn, who huffed. "Either that or she time traveled."

"Why's that embarrassing?" Jack asked. He didn't question the time part, he'd done that too.

"It's not." Joyce answered. "The steaming pile of dinosaur poop Dawn fell in is."

"Mooom!"
