Tsukasa yawned as he looked uninterested in his teacher giving a lecture. He glanced at the clock to see he'd been stuck for an hour in this class. Maybe he should just take his mind off it for a moment; it's not like it will come up on the exams anyway.
Tsukasa has always been stuck in his world, always imagining what it would be like to be on top of the world as a future star. He loves to daydream while he is bored, he knows he shouldn't be but he thinks it's good to imagine what your future will look like in five years. This is more of an excuse to get away with daydreaming and not listening to the lecture in his class right now. It's so boring that he zones out completely and places his pencil down as he begins to dream away, his eyes lidded down a bit, still looking ahead but not paying attention.
He's there singing his heart out as he shines in the night. He was the star that fell from the sky and was called to be a performer for everyone to see and admire for who he was. The stage is the same stage he went to with his sister Saki years ago which makes him dream big. Tsukasa had beautiful clothing as he sang and danced while the audience stared in amazement.
With those eyes watching his every move, he was finally satisfied with his happy ending—seeing his sister happy and cured. Everyone in the audience was filled with glee to see his performance. It's all he ever wanted—well, that's what he thought.
Then suddenly everything went dark on the stage and he was confused. Tsukasa couldn't see the audience and he started to panic, they finally got bored of him? It's true that stars eventually run out but how can he die out so quickly? He started to get upset and his eyes shook a bit in fear of the possibility of him failing.
He fell from the beautiful night sky, didn't he? He stops shining.
He looked down, his shoulders dropped, accepting that the audience, including his sister, grew tired of him. Then, there was something light above him, and he looked up to see what it was, gasping and widening his eyes.
An angel flew down at him slowly. She had long grayish green hair and a beautiful white dress. Those pretty purple eyes stared right at him lovingly, and angelic voices sang in the background as if he were in one of those romance movies.
What shocked him the most was that this angel was Nene, his friend and fellow group member. The shy girl who snaps at him for being too loud is in his daydream as a beautiful angel flying down at him. Tsukasa stared at her with widened eyes and started to blush as he was frozen. The angel Nene placed her hands on his cheeks smiling blissfully at him. ''My pretty star fell down from the sky to perform for everyone to see...'' She said with her soft voice he always adored to listen.
Tsukasa never realized that he had a thing for her outside of his daydreams. The girl who always thinks he's standing out too much is so beautiful to him.
The blonde stood still feeling her hands in his cheeks and his eyes shaking. His eyes then lidded down on its own. ''I did, I always wanted to bring joy into people's lives. It's always been my dream.'' The star is guilty as charged. Why wouldn't he come down to make people happy with his singing?
Nene kept her smile as the singing voices in the background kept going. ''You always go down without asking me first... Shouldn't I be here when you achieve your dreams?'' She said leaning closer to him and looking at him in the eyes.
Tsukasa stared at her enamored and grabbed her hands from his cheeks to hold them instead. ''...I'm sorry, I keep rushing down without telling you. It's not that I don't want you here, I just really want to perform.'' He tried to explain himself and she placed a finger in his lip to shush him. She let go of his lip slowly as she held his hands back and flew above him. ''I understand. I always knew since the day I made you that you'll be the star that will make everyone happy... You're a dream come true.'' She said so angelically.
His daydreams do come with backstories and he loves every minute of it.
''Nene...'' Tsukasa said lovingly as he held her hands tightly. ''Thank you so much. Your words mean the world to me. I'm nothing without you...'' He feels so happy that his eyes start to tear up and still smiles at her.
She wipes one of his tears. ''Don't cry my pretty star... You're finally here making everyone happy with your singing. Making me happy as well.''
''Oh Nene...'' Tsukasa said lovingly still crying his heart out at her kind words. 'I'm glad... That I make you happy.'' He said as he breathed shakily with his eyes a bit, he went to lean in to kiss her lip.
Emu claps. ''Wake up, Tsukasa!'' she shouts, making Tsukasa scream and jump from his seat, scared that his daydream got interrupted. He sees Emu, Rui, and Nene surrounding him. He gets lost as he stands up looking around the classroom. ''It's... It's the class over?'' How long was he daydreaming for? He had no idea he zoned out that long. It's a surprise the teacher never called him out for it either or maybe she didn't notice he did.
Rui laughs covering his mouth. ''Yeah, what were you doing spacing out like that?''
Tsukasa gets embarrassed and then glances at Nene who crosses her arms looking disappointed at him for missing class like that, it just reminds him about his daydream, and looks away from her to look at Rui instead. ''I...'' He tried to devise an excuse and then snapped his fingers grinning. ''Coming up with new songs for us to sing! As the future star, I must be ready with a song in mind! Isn't that right Emu?'' He turned to Emu who agreed with him as she screamed her normal Wonderhoy.
Tsukasa tried to tell them that he'd catch up with them while he was packing his backpack to leave. Guess who stayed? Nene.
Nene looks at him for a moment. ''You always do this.'' She said as she looked away and back at him. ''I... I don't want you to fail class so stop doing that.'' She then walked away.
Oh. He stopped to think, and then he smiled as his eyes lidded down, getting in a daze. She worries for him...? He then snapped out of it, blinking his eyes. Ugh, he hates his stupid weird feelings. He adjusted his posture, got his backpack, and left his classroom. He hopes that he'll dream the continuation of his daydream even if he wants to pretend he's not in love with her.
