Hi, everyone! Welcome to Book II of the Mizuki series. I hope you all enjoy this story as much as I did while writing it. Please feel free to review, I would love to hear your thoughts.

Disclaimer: I don't own My Hero Academia or any of its characters. Mizuki, however, is my own creation.

Let's start with the story, shall we?*

Chapter 23

"Now, it begins… Take them down. The false brilliance of the title of 'hero'… We, the Vanguard Action Squad of the League of Villains, will condemn them." – Dabi

The four students of class 1-A walked onwards, shoulders slumped and spirits down. They were so close. Why did they have supplementary classes right in the middle of the bravery test of the training camp?

It wasn't fair.

Eijiro frowned, his brows furrowed together. Not only did he want to participate but he knew Mizuki was also excited. She was already challenging everyone left and right to get a greater thrill. He was sure that she was as disappointed as the rest of him.

It wasn't her fault they were in this situation. Besides, as long as he was able to have her by his side, he was happy and content.

"Oh, that's weird! Even though Class A is supposed to be better, there were five people who failed? Even though there was only one person from Class B? That's so weird!" A blonde male laughed when he caught sight of the group right after Eijiro slid the door open.

"Just how mentally strong are you?!"

"He said the same thing trying to provoke us yesterday," Eijiro sighed out, his brow twitching as they went to sit down. He sat down behind the male who continued to laughed maniacally, the seat empty next to him.

"Maybe Mizuki should blow him up. I mean…" Kaminari paled as he watched the blonde male, Sato and Sero sweat dropping. There was definitely a screw loose somewhere. Was it really alright to have someone like him become a hero?

The image of Katsuki flashed in their minds and cut off their thoughts. They had no room to judge the male as another short-tempered male popped inside their heads. It would seem like each class had their delinquent.

"Vlad, I want to add some practice manoeuvres this time. There's only one student that's running an errand," Aizawa added as he walked up towards the white-haired male. Vlad huffed, his arms crossing over his chest.

"I was thinking about that too. You don't have to tell me that and why does your student get a free pass-""Everyone!" A female voice mentally called and cut off the teacher's question. Everyone blinked in surprise, the female voice instantly recognized.

"It's Mandalay's Telepath."

"It makes me jump a little… It only works in one direction though, so it's kind of annoying…" Kaminari pointed out. Even when she talked to them while they were training, he was unable to communicate back.

"Quiet." Aizawa's tone of voice was absolute and had everyone shut their mouths. His one hand went to his head, eyes narrowing as he listened to what the female had to say. Something was wrong. She wouldn't communicate with them all without a valid reason.

"We're being attacked by two villains! It's possible that there are more! Everyone who can move, get back to the camp immediately! Even if you come across the enemy, retreat and do not engage!" Mandalay communicated and everyone's eyes widened.

Villains? Here? At their secret training camp? How? It wasn't possible! No one was supposed to know where they were training and everything was kept under wraps.

Eijiro could feel his stomach churning at the thought of villains attacking them. What about the students busy with the bravery test? What were they doing here? His brain came to a halt and he found his mouth running dry.

Mizuki.

Aizawa cursed underneath his breath at the new information that was given towards them. He stopped himself from thinking unnecessary questions and his mind came to one focus point only. The students were in trouble.

"Vlad, I'm leaving this place to you. I'll go protect the other students!" Aizawa told the teacher of Class 1-B, Monoma's murmurs of confusion barely audible. Vlad nodded in reply, his concerns about his own students great but he trusted Aizawa enough to know he would help them.

"Aizawa Sensei! Mizuki is still in the bathroom! I'll go-""I'll make sure that she joins you. None of you are allowed to leave. Stay put!" Aizawa cut off Eijiro who jumped up in his chair and startled everyone around him.

Aizawa left the redhead with his own thoughts as he burst out of the classroom and ran down the hall. Eijiro was left with frustration burning in his veins but kept his mind calm. Mizuki probably heard the message as well and was going to join them as soon as Aizawa found her. They would protect her.

He would protect her.

I don't want to think about what could happen… Aizawa thought as he turned down the hallway towards the female bathrooms. He threw the door to the side, sparing no time with knocking. He would take Mizuki's outburst head on. That was the least of his worries.

"Mizuki!" He called, eyes narrowing when he noticed all the open stalls. He could feel the concern and churning in his stomach increase as he searched through the empty stalls, only to find that she wasn't there.

No, no! He ran out of the bathroom and headed straight towards the bedroom of the girls. There was a chance that she forgot about something and went to fetch it in her things. Either way, she was going to get the scolding of a lifetime for taking her sweet time!

"Mizuki! Where are you?!" He called as he burst into the dark and empty room of the girls. He switched on the light, the room illuminating. He slid open doors of possible places where she could be and only found emptiness.

"Shit!" He cursed and ran out, his entire body pumped with adrenaline. She wasn't answering him and was missing in the possible places where he looked. Where the hell was that kid? She was supposed to be quick and return to her group immediately!

"This is bad," he said as he stepped outside. Black smoke mixed with blue flames painted the night sky and the smell of burnt wood reached his nose. The forest was on fire where the rest of the students were in possible danger. Moreover, one of his students were missing and knowing Mizuki he had a feeling that she went out headfirst to help out.

"Is your worry taking precedence, Eraser?" A husky and mocking voice spoke up next to him and his eyes widened. A spiky black-haired male suddenly appeared without Aizawa even noticing his presence

"Vlad-" BOOM.

A wave of scorching blue flames exploded from the villain's hand and engulfed the teacher. The villain wasted no time in letting loose such a large attack, a sick smirk forming onto his face, blue eyes gleaming.

"Don't get in my way, pro hero. You guys aren't the ones we want."

Meanwhile…

This was bad. This was very, very bad.

For some reason, the League of Villains were attacking the students amidst their training camp. They called themselves the Vanguard Action Squad. It was obvious that they planned the attack and knew when the perfect opportunity was to strike them.

Everyone as warned with Mandalay's telepath but Pixie Bob was already out of the picture and injured by one of the villains. The other students were all scattered and one boy was all on his own at his own secret hiding place until a villain showed up.

"I tried searching somewhere with a nice view, and I ended up finding a face not on our list," Muscular spoke through his mask as he looked down at the trembling boy. "Hey, by the way, you've got a nice hat there, Kid. Trade with me for this lame mask."

A hand went over to take the hockey mask off, causing tears of horror to brim in the young boy's eyes as he recognized the face. "They made me wear this toy since I'm new, saying they couldn't get the shipment in time or something."

Kota cried out and tried to run away but the Villain was fast, jumping in front of him. Muscular pulled out his arm from the black mantle that he wore, muscles shooting around the limb. Kota froze in fear, his body trembling.

"Hey, hey, let me get a shot in to cheer up! Come on!"

"Papa…! Mama…!" Kota cried out in despair as the grinning male went to attack him. He could see death coming for him and closed his eyes, pressing his lips together. He waited for the blow, only to have his body grabbed before he crashed to the side, unharmed.

The newcomer coughed and let out a groan as his breath was hit out by a part of the punch. Kota's eyes widened when he recognized the boy. Izuku Midoriya. He saved him. What was he doing here? Why did he…?

"Hm? You were on the list," Muscular spoke as Izuku kneeled in front of Kota, his hand wiping away the grind he had on his face. He could fell his own adrenaline pumping, disbelief and concern accompanying the feeling of rush.

I came to keep him from coming into contact with a villain… I can't believe a villain ended up right here! Emerald coloured eyes glanced at his shattered phone. Damn it, my mobile broke from that just now.

I came here without telling anyone… Which means, I can't hope for any reinforcements like last time. There's just me…just me… I have to do something about this villain by myself. Can I do it while protecting Kota at the same time-He dared to glance back at the quivering, crying boy.

No, I can't think like that. I just have to do it. Right now, with the power I have! Izuku thought and clenched his fists as he let his power surge through his body. A forced smile came onto his lips as he stood up into a stance against the Villain.

"It's… It's going to be okay, Kota-kun. I'll definitely save you!" Izuku declared bravely, brows knitting together as he looked at the Villain. He was strong. Izuku could feel the strength and confidence radiate off him.

That's what a hero would do.

Elsewhere…

"Damn it…!" Katsuki scowled, the sound coming out muffled as he held his hand in front of his mouth. He tried to protect himself from inhaling the peculiar gas that engulfed the forested area, a high density behind them.

They arrived at the halfway point, only to travel for a little while before they found a student unconscious from the gas and the message from Mandalay. Shoto immediately took the student on his back and they carefully travelled back to the camp.

Katsuki scowled, his brows knitting together. He didn't like this. At all. He could feel the disturbance through the faint connection between him and his sister and knew there was trouble. Something was very wrong and he needed to get back to her as soon as possible.

"Is this gas a villain's doing?" Shoto mused aloud as he looked around, divided coloured eyes glancing around the forested area. He kept his guard up, knowing that he needed to be ready if anything happened.

"I'm worried about the others, but we have no choice. We'll avoid the finish line and get back to the camp. Let's leave this to Ragdoll, who's at the hallway point," Shoto said and caused the ash blonde's brows to twitch in agitation.

"Don't tell me what to d-" Katsuki's snap was cut off when they caught sight of a figure hunching not too far in front of them. The duo felt the hairs on the back of their neck stand up, their instincts yelling loudly at them.

"Someone's there?"

It wasn't a student. Katsuki felt his mouth run dry when he caught sight of a bloodied hand that lay on the ground in front of the hunching figure. The sight of the hand had Shoto's eyes narrowing, panic flashing in his eyes.

"That's… Hey, who was in front of us?"

"Tokoyami and…Shoji," Shoto added reluctantly as he looked at the hand. He could feel his thoughts overwhelm him at the possible scenarios that flashed in his eyes. What happened here? Who's hand was that? What happened to the rest? Who was this guy?

"So pretty… So pretty… No, I have to work… I was captivated… Oh no… What beautiful flesh… Oh, don't tempt me… I have a job to do…" The Villains slurred as he glanced back towards the boys, a grin of nervousness and thrill flashing on Katsuki's face as he took away his hand.

"Don't fight?"

"You'll definitely save him?" Muscular burst out laughing, the muscles moving back into his skin. "That sounds just like what someone who wants to be a hero would say. Your kind show up everywhere, talking about justice," the Villain said.

"You're the one called Midoriya, right? This is perfect. We were told to take the initiative and kill you." His other hand was engulfed by external muscles while his other hand pulled off the cloak he was wearing.

"I'll make sure to torment you thoroughly, so show me your blood!" Muscular exclaimed and charged straight towards Izuku. He was fast. Very fast. His movement twisted at the last moment as he brought his punch towards Izuku.

However… Izuku managed to dodge the attack of the oncoming fist by dropping towards the ground, catching the Villain by surprise. The force of the punch made a dent in the ground, green eyes narrowing. He gritted his teeth and bounced off to the side, heels digging into the ground.

That was close! If he punched me, I would've been in serious trouble! It looks like Mi-chan's training has paid off. I can react faster to other's movements even if they're fast. Izuku thought and looked at Kota. He mentioned something about a kill list so at least it should keep his attention on me and not Kota-kun.

"You dodged? Hey, hey, don't go spoiling the fun now," Muscular said as he pulled back his punch and looked at Izuku. "Oh, I almost forgot. If you know, tell me…where are those Bakugou kids?" His question rang in the boy's ears and he felt his blood run cold.

Mi-chan?! Kacchan?!

"I still have to do my job! NAH?!" Muscular went to punch the ground where Izuku was and the boy barely dodged it in time. He jumped onto the ground wall and then away from the male, brain working overtime as his thoughts reeled.

They're after Mi-chan and Kacchan?! Why?! Izuku thought and recalled All Might's words. So their goal is Mi-chan after all, but why Kacchan? Leverage? Blackmail? This is bad! Mi-chan is back at the cabin with Aizawa Sensei and Vlad Sensei.

She should be safe with them but Kacchan went out with Todoroki-kun. If he was a target then he had to make sure to get to him first before they did. Aizawa wouldn't let anything happen to her so I'll just have to make sure that nothing happens to Kacchan. Izuku told himself and frowned.

"Can I take that as an 'I don't know'? I can, right? All right then…" The Villain laughed through the dust that he caused and then pressed his legs into the ground. He activated his Quirk and burst towards Izuku, the boy not able to dodge his speed when he slammed his knee into his abdomen.

"Let's play!"

Izuku coughed as pain exploded from his abdomen, faint sounds of cracks reaching his ears. He crashed into the ground wall and gasped. His Quirk deactivated and he was left to fall onto the ground with a thump, blood running from the side of his face.

"Blood! This is great! It's what I wanted! This is so fun! What'd you say earlier? That you'd definitely save him? Why are you running away? You're so weird!" Muscular laughed as he marched over towards the boy.

That muscle-like Quirk is so fast…so strong…! I can't think about Mi-chan or Kacchan right now…! Focus on the enemy in front of me! Izuku thought as he charged his Quirk and pulled back his fist before attacking.

Smash!

He punched the blonde Villain with his maximum controlled power, eyes glaring and teeth bared. The villain, on the other hand, was unimpressed as he blocked it with his mere arm. "What? That's your Quirk?" He smirked darkly.

"You're pretty fast, but not nearly strong enough!" He threw Izuku back, the boy crashed into the ground with a yelp. "My Quirk lets me power-up my muscles! I increase my speed and strength by increasing the amount of muscle fibres so much that they can't be contained by my skin!"

"What am I trying to say? I'm bragging! In other words, you're a completely inferior version of me!" he finished and charged, Izuku dodging his punch but was hit by a large piece of debris before the male launched towards him once again.

"Do you understand how I feel? I can't help but laugh!" Muscular exclaimed and hit Izuku in his side, the male grunting in pain as he flew into the ground. This wasn't going well. He could feel his body aching and refusing his orders as the Villain approached.

"You'll definitely save him? How'll you do that? Don't just spout lip service you can't actually pull off! Be honest with yourself!" Muscular told him and Izuku gritted his teeth as he tried to move his body to sit up.

Hit.

The Villain blinked and turned around, a face of disbelief given to the fear stricken boy. Did he just throw him with a rock? He watched as the boy trembled, his eyes glaring at him despite the obvious terror.

"Water Hose… Papa… Mama too… Did you torment them like that before you killed them too?!" Kota yelled angrily at the Villain, lips trembling. Izuku's eyes widened at the boy's words, the Villain also shocked.

"Huh? Seriously? Your parents were heroes? This must be fate!" Muscular turned his back towards the green haired teenager. "Water Hose… It's thanks to them that my left eye is an artificial eye now," Muscular stated while pointing at his lens.

"It's your fault…" Kota's entire body shook with anger and despair. "It's because of guys like you…that it always, always turns out like this!" He cried out, eyes clenched shut and teeth gritted as sadness washed over him in waves.

"Kids are always shifting the blame like that. That's not good." Kota's eyes widened. "It's not like I have a grudge about this eye or anything, you know. I just wanted to kill and those two wanted to stop me. It was the result of all of us doing what we wanted," he replied.

"What's wrong is wanting to do something you're unable to do. Like your mommy and daddy!" He roared, death circulating around him and causing terror to flash on the boy's face. He saw the large male pull his fist back and brought his arms up to his face.

There was a shift in the air, Muscular smirking when he saw Izuku move. "Which means you're coming now aren't you, you piece of trash!" Muscular yelled, Izuku's eyes gleaming brightly and making the male's face fall.

"You're the one who's wrong!" He yelled and then stuck his left arm between the male's muscles. "I got him! Now it doesn't matter how fast he is!" He added and Muscular laughed, his other hand already coming in for a punch.

"And then what? You gonna punch me with that weak arm of yours?"

"It's not a matter of whether or not I can do it!" Izuku countered, his power surging through his entire body before going to his right arm. "A hero's job is to risk his life to make the lip service into reality!" His body charged with green sparks and the villain's eyes widened.

One For All 100%... SMASH!

The impact of the punch caused a large shockwave that made the mountain side shake and crack. The young black-haired boy held his arms to his face to protect it from the flying debris but was unable to keep himself from flying off.

Kota's eyes stared at the forest as he fell and let out a shaky cry before his shirt was grabbed from behind. He yelped as he was held and glanced back at the green haired boy who held him tightly by his clothing.

"Sorry for blowing you away, too…" Izuku apologized towards the small boy and pulled him up on the mountain side. He then looked at the crashing site of the Villain while breathing heavy, his right arm broken from using the full extent of his Quirk.

"Th-thank…" Kota cut off his own statement when he saw the state in which Izuku was in. His shirt was blown off, his right arm broken and bruised from the finger tips to the shoulder. Why? Why did he hurt himself like that?

"Let's get back to the camp… It's not far from here…" Izuku trailed off when he heard a groan from the crash behind him, green eyes widening when he saw Muscular smirk. No way… You're kidding me… That was full power… All Might's power!

It wasn't possible, was it? He used All Might's power at 100% and this male was still very much standing and grinning mockingly. He was barely even scathed! If full power wasn't enough to beat him, then what would?

"That punch was too obvious but it wasn't bad, Midoriya!" The male spoke as he made fists by his sides and walked closer. Izuku stood protectively in front of Kota. His entire body screamed at him in protest as he glared at the blonde male.

"G-get away!"

"Nah, I feel like attaching now, all of the sudden," Muscular replied and Izuku could feel panic rise in his system. This was bad, Very, very bad. What was he going to do? Think. He needed time to think and get his thoughts straight.

"Wh-What are you trying to do? What's the League of Villains after?" Izuku asked. He needed both time and information. This male didn't seem to be the type to care about keeping secrets. After all, he clearly revealed their targets.

How should I know? I just want to fight. As long as I can stretch my wings and unleash my Quirk, I don't care," Muscular said and reached inside his pant's pocket. "Do you remember? Up until just now, we were just playing. I said so, didn't I? 'Let's play'? Right? I said!" He reminded the teen while pulling out his hand, different lenses falling out of his pocket.

"I'm done. Playtime's over. 'Cause you're pretty strong." He put a red eyed lens on his scarred face. "Now, I'm gonna look at you seriously," he stated, his muscles flying out of his skin and Izuku crunched in front of Kota.

"Kota-kun, grab on quickly!" Izuku ordered and the boy barely held the male's shoulders before the teen evaded a dangerous attack. Muscular's punch caused half of the mountain side to shatter and break by mere force.

It doesn't even compare to earlier! His speed and his power… He was just playing…! He was really just toying with me as he tried to kill me! Izuku thought in disbelief and dread as he looked at the muscle-covered male.

Muscular attacked once again, his fist digging into the wall of the mountain side. It caused a shockwave from where he punched, Izuku and Kota blown away while the Villain's hand got stuck in the ground.

"Aw, damn it, I got too excited."

Izuku's eyes darted around, his only non-broken arm holding onto Kota as he spun in the air to position himself for a landing. He Landed on one knee, the boy still holding onto the teen, not knowing what he was planning and too scared to move.

If we get back to the camp, then Aizawa Sensei should be there. If Aizawa Sensei can erase his Quirk… Don't get scared. Can you get him to follow as far as the camp without getting caught? Impossible. He concluded, his mind working for a possible solution to get out of this situation.

You're still tired from training. Don't think! if you show your back to the enemy in this state, then you'll just become prey. You have no choice but to fight and win right here, right now! This is the only path you can take, Izuku Midoriya! You're gonna save him, right?! Remember where you came from!

"Hey, what's with that stupid face?"

Izuku felt everything around him fade in that instant as he heard the feminine voice in his thoughts. He could feel her, as if she was standing right next to him, the unimpressed look accompanied by displeasure evident on her face.

Izuku gritted his teeth and pushed himself onto two legs. "Stay back, Kota. And then, when it hits, you run as fast as you can back to the camp," Izuku told the boy, Kota blinking a few times before his eyes widened.

"When it hits? Don't tell me you're…! It won't work! Let's run! Your attack didn't work earlier! Besides, your arm is broken!" Kota told the male, hoping to convince him to run away but Izuku stood proudly.

"It's okay," he said, his statement sounding so sure. One For All, 100%! He called on his power as his body surged, his other arm flashing with sparks when the villain came rushing towards him, a cry coming from his mouth.

Detroit Smash!

Izuku's fist made contact with the large mass of muscles that engulfed the fist, pain rocketing from his arm as it broke. Tears formed in the corner of his eyes as he gritted his teeth, the villain pressing through the impact.

"What's wrong? It's still not nearly powerful enough to get through!" Muscular yelled out as he continued to push through. He could feel some of his muscles tearing but it wasn't enough to stop him.

"…fine… It's fine…! I will not let him get past me! So…run! Run!" Izuku roared, giving his all to stop the villain to buy time for Kota. The small boy stared at the scene, tears brimming in his eyes while the villain smirked.

"This brat… Man, you're the best!"

The force of the muscles become more, Izuku's feet digging into the ground and causing it to crack in several places from the weight. "Shut up…! D-Don't underestimate me!" Izuku countered, sparks still flickering over his body.

"Show me…your blood!"

Izuku was pressed into the ground, his already broken fist still pushing against the muscles, blood bursting through. His other broken hand tried to hold away the muscles but it was no use as the weight doubled.

A hero can always break out of a tough spot! Izuku could hear the voice of All Might in his head as he gritted his teeth in both pain and frustration. Even if he gave his all, it wasn't enough. He couldn't push away the Villain.

Sorry, Mom! Mom, I'm sorry! All Might! Mi-chan!

"I'm gonna crush you!" Muscular shouted and then pushed Izuku down into the ground, the male's eyes falling shut, his sparks vanishing. His consciousness started to fade, a vague smile from his best friend dissipating.

Water. There was…water?

"Stop…Stop it…!" Kota yelled out, his hands wet from using his Quirk. His cry brought back life in Izuku's eyes, the vague smile becoming a smirk before vanishing. He felt power surge through his body, his mind clearing up.

"Later, 'kay? 'Kay? I'll kill you later, so just wait-" The Villain gasped when he felt Izuku move beneath him, eyes wide. The moment he was distracted, Izuku gained time for himself to gain his strength.

"As if…" Izuku pushed the male backwards, his power growing more and more as he came onto his feet. "…I'd let you kill him!" Izuku yelled out, his other arm clenched into a tight fist as he activated his Quirk.

One For All, 1000000%! Izuku charged, his broken fingers breaking easily through the muscles that once held him. He pulled back his fist, the pain rocketing through his body but was supressed by the adrenaline rush.

Delaware Detroit Smash! Izuku cried out in his mind, his fist making contact on the muscles. Each fibre tore from the force and power of the punch, his fist soon connecting with the Villain's cheek, sending him crashing into the wall.

Kota was speechless as he watched what occurred, his legs buckling beneath him. He fell onto the ground, eyes wide as he stared at Izuku's heavily beaten and bruised body. The boy breathed heavy, his figure exhausted but his posture held high.

"Kota, about your mommy and daddy, Water Hose… It's true that they ended up leaving you behind. But there were definitely lives saved because of what happened to them. I'm sure someday you'll meet someone, and then you'll understand. Someone who'll risk their life to save you. Someone who will be your hero."

"Even though you don't know anything… Even though you don't know anything…! Why did you do so much?" Kota asked aloud, tears streaming down the side of his face. He clenched his eyes shut. His entire body was shaking.

My…hero…!

Izuku's foot slammed into the ground as he inhaled deeply and then let out a cry. It was a cry of victory, a cry that was filled with pain but also with warning. He did it. He beat him and he protected Kota.

He gasped for air, his throat dry and sore as he heaved. His arms were both broken, his energy basically exhausted. He was going to get a scolding of a lifetime after this but it was definitely worth it.

He felt his body give in and fell forward, his foot immediately shooting out to keep him standing while Kota ran over towards him in worry. The Villain lay unmoving in the crashing zone, no sound coming from him.

"It's okay. There's still something I must do."

"You're all beat up! What do you still have to do?!" Kota shouted at the male, not understanding why he was continuing to push himself further. The Villain was defeated, right? That meant the fight was over, right?

"I knew that he would defend against it… But that's also why I had to attack. Even taking that into consideration, I thought I could inflict a lot of damage. Unfortunately, he's a much stronger villain than I thought he was," Izuku said and looked towards the forest.

"If all the villains from this night attack are this strong, then everyone's in danger. On top of that, they're after us students. I have to let Aizawa Sensei and the Pussycats know about that. If I can save someone by moving, then I have to move, right?" He said, Kota swallowing thickly.

"We'll leave this villain here for now. With my messed-up arms, it was probably weaker than usual, but it should have still caused a lot of damage. I don't think he'll wake up soon and even if he does, I don't think he'll be able to move much," Izuku continued and looked at Kota.

"Above all, right now, I need to protect you. There's something that only you can do. The forest has been set on fire. With that, we'd be trapped no matter what. Do you understand? We need that Quirk of yours," Izuku said and Kota's eyes widened.

Izuku kneeled in front of the smaller male, his expression kind. "Save us, the way you saved me earlier," he said, a small smile plastered on his lips. The boy's eyes gleamed brightly as he pressed his lips together and mustered up as much as bravely as possible before nodding.

"Now, get on my back!" Izuku told the young boy who reluctantly nodded. He looked at the teen's injuries and found himself swallowing thickly once more. "We need to get you back to the camp first," he added.

"You can move with those injuries?"

"It's okay! That's why I left my legs! Besides, I trained them extra hard to make sure my speed increases, we'll be there in no time! Hang on tight!" Izuku said and charged his Quirk on his fete before jumping from the mountain side.

"…tell me…where are those Bakugou kids…?"

Izuku had a bad feeling about this entire situation. He didn't get any further information but knew enough from what he was told to worry about the twins. Not to mention, the strength of the villains was clearly not to be underestimated and that only added to his concern.

Please be alright, Mi-chan! Kacchan!

BOOM.

A wave of scorching blue flames exploded from the villain's hand and engulfed the teacher. The villain wasted no time in letting loose such a large attack, a sick smirk forming onto his face, blue eyes gleaming.

"Don't get in my way, pro hero. You guys aren't the ones we want," Dabi spoke as the flames dissipated, smoke coming from his hand and blue eyes looking up at the pro hero that evaded the attack.

Aizawa acted on pure instincts as he used his scarf to hold himself above the flames as he stood against the roof. His eyes glowed red as he kept his Quirk activated, his hair elevating as a result and a deep frown was plastered on his lips.

"Well, I guess you are a pro, after all."

Dabi shot out his left arm and activated his Quirk. His eyes widened when nothing happened and Aizawa took the moment to strike. "Nothing's gonna come out!" He said and caught the villain with his scarf before launching towards him while pulling him closer.

He grabbed Dabi's head and slammed it into his knee, the male grunting on impact. He turned the male around, one hand grabbing his head and the other hand holding onto his arm. He deactivated his Quirk, his eyes still glaring.

"Tell me your purpose, number and positions," Aizawa ordered the Villain, his tone low and threatening. Information. It was critical that he knew everything about this attack and knew how many enemies the students were facing.

"Why?"

"Because otherwise this will happen." Aizawa dislocated the arm in a flash, the male beneath him letting out a gasp of pain. "Your right arm's next. Let's do this logically. If we get to your legs, it'll be annoying to transport you," Aizawa stated and the Villain smirked.

"Are you in a hurry, Eraser?" Dabi mocked, a blue flame appearing on his forehead. The pro hero was quirk to dislocate the other arm, red eyes flashing as he erased the male's Quirk. He wasn't going to let himself be riled up by a villain.

There was a sudden quake from the earth, Aizawa's senses going on overtime. "What's that?!" He asked, the churning inside his stomach multiplying. Someone was fighting. Was it the students? Was it the Pussycats? Please don't say it was Mizuki.

"Aizawa Sensei!"

"You guys!" The teacher called towards the four male students that stood out of breath. Iida, Mineta, Koda and Ojiro stood by the entrance of the forest, each one with a panicked facial expression.

The moment Aizawa was distracted, the villain moved. The pro hero jumped away, still keeping his Quirk activated and his capturing scarf around the villain. He was barely able to stand on two legs, his body trembling.

This is about as much damage as I can take, huh? Dabi thought and then smirked as he slowly straightened himself up. "As expected of a U.A. teacher." He turned towards the homeroom teacher, his eyes flashing.

"Hey, hero." Aizawa pulled the restraints on the male, his eyes widening in disbelief when it broke through him. Wasn't the fire Quirk supposed to be his only Quirk? Did he have something else-No, this was a copy!

"Are your students important? I hope you can protect them all till the end…" Dabi finished, his body turning into a pile of mud on the ground. His words rang through Aizawa, his suspicions verified. Much to his own horror.

"Aizawa Sensei?"

"What was that just now?!" The group asked as they ran over towards the pro hero, their panic great at the villain that disappeared. Aizawa didn't hesitate one moment as he ran past them towards the forest.

"Get inside! I'll be right back!" He ordered the students as he travelled into the forest, leaving the four students with their own thoughts. He was going in there alone, all by himself and they knew that he was going to fight on the frontlines.

He could still hear Dabi's words ring in his ears, his brows furrowing. He could feel his worry for his students' safety grow and his anger pushing through. She didn't get any information on numbers or formation on the villains but he found their goal.

The way he said that makes it clear that the students are the targets. Damn it! We tried to avoid this as much as possible. There was no doubt about it that they're after Mizuki. The only question is where the hell is she? Aizawa thought, his frown deepening into a scowl.

They took many precautions to prevent an all-out attack from the Villains and kept the training camp location a top secret. Only a few knew about it and yet, somehow, the Villains easily found their location. They were knocking at their front door, confident and eager.

Everything was for naught if they let the Villains win. All the secret keeping, the safety measurements… This night didn't feel like USJ. The Villains were intelligent, strong and this time, aiming for the students.

"Aizawa Sensei!"

Aizawa stopped in his tracks at the voice who called him. His words died in the back of his throat when he saw the state the boy was in. Two broken arms, blood running down the side of his head and Kota who clutched tightly to his body.

"Aizawa Sensei… I'm glad…" Izuku rasped between breaths, Kota climbing off his body. "It's terrible! There are a ton of things I need to tell you!" Aizawa could only stare at the boy who was oblivious to his injuries.

"Hey…"

"First, there's something I need to tell Mandalay. Please take care of Kota-kun-!""I said: 'Hey!" Aizawa tried to calm down the boy but he was on a high, blasting past the words of the teacher. He rambled on about Kota's water Quirk and that it was vital for the burning forest.

"Please-!""Wait, Midoriya!" Aizawa called after the boy that wanted to rush off, the green haired teen stopping in his tracks to look at his teacher in confusion. He needed to hurry. He needed to get to Mandalay.

Aizawa let out a breath. "Those injuries… You did it again, didn't you? Did you forget about what happened in Hosu?" Aizawa asked, the boy's eyes widening. He recalled the incident with the Hero Killer and the trouble they were in for acting without permission.

They acted as uncertified individuals who caused injury with their Quirks without specific instruction from their guardians or supervisors. It was a clear violation of the rules and despite his entire being disagreeing, he knew that he did it again. Yet, if he didn't, Kota might have been…

"So tell Mandalay this…" Aizawa continued and Izuku's eyes widened at his homeroom teacher's words. The male was serious, his tone never wavering as he spoke and the teen knew that the pro hero was aware of the dangers of the villain attack.

The situation was unavoidable. They needed to raise the survival rate by giving the students permission to fight and to defend themselves in any possible situation. He would take responsibility for it along with whatever punishment followed.

Don't be defeated while we still don't know what's going on, future heroes!

Izuku ran off to tell the message to Mandalay while Aizawa took the young boy into his arms before sprinting off towards the camp. He kept his senses on alert, eyes darting around as he held onto the boy who gripped his clothing and buried his face into his clothing.

He clicked his tongue in irritancy when he remembered that he forgot to tell the green haired teen to return right away. It was bad. It was worse than bad. The only reason Izuku was able to move with those injuries was because of the adrenaline that pumped through his system.

Once he accomplished his goal and calmed down a little, he won't be able to move at all. He was already incapacitated but he'll be an even easier target for the Villains that way. He was acting recklessly and not thinking straight.

"Mister… Will he be okay?" Aizawa's thoughts were interrupted by the small voice of the boy. "I… I punched him… But even so, he got all beat up like that to rescue me…! I haven't even told him 'sorry' or 'thank you' yet… Will he…be okay…?" The boy asked, his hands trembling and tears brimming in his eyes.

"Don't worry. He got all beat up like that because he had no intention of dying. Even so, as a teacher, I have to scold Midoriya for acting without permission," Aizawa said and Kota's eyes widened in disbelief.

"So once this is all over, please tell him how you feel. If possible, put more effort in the 'thank you' part," the pro hero told the boy. Izuku made a grave impact on the boy who was once against the hero society but despite it being an admirable feat, he acted irresponsibly.

"Everyone in Class A and Class B. In the name of the pro hero, Eraser Head, you are granted permission to engage in combat!"

Aizawa heard the voice of Mandalay in his thoughts and his brows twitched. Izuku made it in time. He wanted to ease himself by knowing it was done. Unfortunately, Izuku acted as rash as his best friend which brought his concerns back to one missing individual.

"We have discovered two of the villains' targets. It's two of the students – 'Kacchan' and 'Mi-chan'! 'Kacchan' and 'Mi-chan' should try to avoid combat and act independently! Understand, 'Kacchan'? 'Mi-chan'?!"

He nearly cursed aloud at the next message that Mandalay broadcasted through his thoughts. This was a mess. They really were after Mizuki and what made matters worse was the fact that they were after Bakugo as well.

You better not do anything stupid!
