(I'm not going to give this conversation any more time and attention. I need to get to the hospital.) Lucas replied.

Larry stepped through the house front door. Got out his cellphone. And called his daughter.

(He seems to want to keep this going. We both know he doesn't want Elizabeth.)

(You know first hand how he can be. Which means we have a act and fast.) Larry explained.

Lucas went straight to the local hospital. He explained who he was and the situation.

Lucas was soon taken to the hospital nursery.

Given a name tag and brought to the hospital room.

Where Elizabeth was. Lucas sat down. Looking down at the hospital crib.

The expression on his face broke. (I'm so sorry Lizzie.) Lucas said.

This was his obligation and responsibility. He needed to step up. And Larry needed to back off. Lucas decided.

He stayed by her side for awhile. Fed her changed her.

Cradled her until she fell asleep in his arms.

She was a combination of himself and Peyton.

Lucas eventually put her back into the crib and called Brooke

Brooke eventually made her way to the hospital room.

She quietly lingered in the entryway.

At the sight of her. Lucas walked over and hugged her tightly.

(When you explained to me what happened. How could Peyton just leave Elizabeth alone like that? It makes me sick and angry. She's an innocent baby.)

(I knew she wouldn't take the news of our wedding well but I never imagined this.)

(She's going to be okay right?) Brooke asked.

(Yeah this could of ended so tragically. She could of died Brooke. Peyton hates me that much.)

(Taking care of Elizabeth is on me. You are under no obligation for her.)

(After everything that had gone on with Peyton.) Lucas insisted.
