The Lion Girl of the Merged Realm

Chapter 8: Chima's End

After the Crawler Tribe, things changed in Chima. Sprawler was granted a place in the Crocodile Tribe as the Royal Family's assistant. Crunket would take the time to teach Sprawler reading, writing, history, and several other necessities. Cragger made sure Crooler didn't get a chance to misuse Sprawler. Crominus made good on his promise and personally oversaw the construction on Sprawler's hut. He made sure in a spot where he could get sun and plenty of plants for him to enjoy.

Crominus: (To Sprawler and his son) Told you I'd personally oversee your reward, Sprawler.

Sprawler: Thank you, sir.

Doubloon went back to the Lair for the Raid Zeppelin and set up a dojo close to the Raven Junkyard. Many Tribe Members were interested in learning his martial arts skills. Oddly enough, the Rhinos were his most successful students.

Rogon: (Laughing) I'm Doubloon's favorite.

Lucilia continued to be her normal self but wiser. She'd often kept the WindShadow in good condition and she wouldn't let anyone outside her brother and friends even touch it. She kept training with her weapons, making sure she didn't slack off. Her skills came in handy when the Ice Hunters invaded. Unfortunately, due to the fact she had no natural fur, she made a remarkable discovery.

Lucilia: I HATE THE COLD!

But she remained strong during the event. She even managed to get the Mammoths to betray Sir Fangor, which tipped the scales for them. But what greatly brought a smile during that was the fact her Uncle Lavertus was alive. Lucilia was overjoyed that her uncle was alive. While Lucilia lost her friend, Flinx, to the Illumination, she gained so much: New Tribes for Chima, Peace with (Most) of the Crawler Tribes, her Uncle Lavertus back, and her brother's girlfriend. Li'Ella proved to be just as much fun as her boyfriend. Things had changed for Lucilia, but her biggest change was on the day that should've been the happiest day of her life: Her Age of Becoming. It was one week after the Illumination that her Tribe decided she was ready. Her father reached into the pool and brought her an Orb of Chi.

Lagravis: My daughter, Lucilia, for the first time, you shall take an Orb of Chi. (Giving it to his daughter) Place it in your chest and feel the power of nature itself; The Almighty Life Force of Chima.

Lucilia took the Orb. She was about to insert it into her when it happened. All of Chima rumbled and quaked. Looking outside, the Tribes saw the sky rip open in a red tear and showed places unfamiliar to them. Only then in Lucilia's eyes, did she see one of the symbols from her dream.

Life: Now, my child, your destiny begins.

Firing a beam at her, Lucilia screamed as the Symbol of the Life Source Dragon was tattooed onto her entire face. In a giant explosion, a flash of light engulfed all of Chima. When Lucilia got up, she wasn't at the Lion Temple anymore. All that was near her was Rogon's truck, a special eagle egg, and the Wado Ichimonji. She got up but stumbled when she discovered that her clothes were too big for her now, like she was reverted to her species' proper age size. Making her way to her sword, she found it was bigger now, like it was reverted back to its proper size.

Lucilia: W… What happened?

Desperate, Lucilia gave a Lion roar to anyone but no one responded. Lucilia was all alone. Sadly, she picked up the egg and went into the truck, which had no occupants.

Lucilia: (Sadly looks around) It's just me now. What was that loud earthquake bang? And where did everyone go? And where am I?

Then Lucilia saw her reflection in a panel and saw the tattoo on her entire face.

Lucilia: (Gasp) And how did this happen?

All that day, Lucilia set up the truck as a hut. She tried to drive it but she was too small. She at least found they keys. She set up a warm place to keep the egg safe, knowing that the Eagle Beast now only has two eggs to care for and is missing her third. Making a hammock, Lucilia wondered if she was the last of her homeland. She went to sleep, praying she wasn't alone.
