Song: 仮面ライダーBLACK · Tetsuo Kurata
Part 1
It was some time in the early morning.
Somewhere in Akihabara, there was a safehouse located around the corner, where it was away from the sight of passing by cars and from the prying eyes of the people who passed by, many of whom were what could be classified as otaku, those who love anime. This place wasn't the only safehouse, there were plenty of others around the neighborhood. It had all been provided for by an old contact of his - a self-proclaimed mad scientist with unintentional yet almost accurate deductions about conspiracies (*1). That man isn't here nor anywhere else in Japan at the moment, as he's overseas. That pretty much left George in charge to take care of the safehouses for the most part. Fortunately, he has a few friends here who help him maintain the safehouses. After all, many of them also happen to live here too.
A silver garage door lifts open in the early morning. George stood, looking on with a soft smile on his face.
Out of the garage door came George's trusted partner that drove without hesitation. A sentient motorcycle, which had an RXV white-colored symbol intermixed with two golden Ns, the left being upward, and the right being downward, along with a partial infinity symbol seen on the left. It had crimson eyes that acted as headlights as well as for sense of sight, and an antenna on the front which allowed the bike to detect various frequency patterns and signatures.
His name was Acrohopper. He and George have been together for so very long. They've been through countless battles; hell and back.
The garage door would eventually close behind the bike as it exited.
"Partner," Acrohopper spoke as he stopped near the young man. "Where are we headed off too?"
"Obaa-chan said something about an event where many of the Cure teams are about to gather today," He explained as he hops on board the seat. A grey motorcycle helmet would materialize instantly from his helmet. "I promised that I would be there, so the current location we're heading too is, well, at Hana-chan's hometown."
"Hagukumi it is then..." Acrohopper hummed with interest. "And I do definitely recall that there would be an event that would be taking place there. There's plenty of flyers going around in Akiba right now, something about celebrating Kira-Pati's one hundredth anniversary or something like that."
"Hm. And knowing of the teams that would be there at least, we'd probably run into Kiriya (*2)." George would say.
"Ah, him," If Acrohopper had a human face, his look of epiphany and empathy would be more obvious. "I suppose he would be there." The bike sighed. "You know partner, his reunion with Yukishiro-kun is long overdue at this point. I mean, you're deliberately showing yourself to the Cures right now, when before, you'd be the first to turn tail and hide."
"Those were... admittedly simpler times back then, despite the complications of time travel," George's face was crestfallen and contemplative. "And... I'm done running, I'm going to keep the promise I've held up for about a year."
"Which promise? Guinevere-neesan's...or Future Hana-chan's (*3)? The bike asked, empathetically.
George breathes a bit, before replying. "Both." Then he steps to the pedal, holding his hands to the sides, and allowed the bike to accelerate forward.
As he drove down the road, a memory pops up to his mind.
It happened last night.
"...Why the sudden call, Fury?" George would ask with a serious expression as he looked at his holographic projection screen emanating from his left wristwatch.
He had already taken care of the Helless recently before he got this call. Director-General Nick Fury, Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. (*4). He's another old contact of his. From the humble beginnings of being a war veteran of World War II who led the Howling Commandos, having been trained and mentored by someone named The Boss (*5), and eventually becoming the first (and still) Director-General of S.H.I.E.L.D.
The first thing George knew about Fury is that, well, he's a man of many secrets. That may sound vague, but that's the entire point of him. He's worked with the old man plenty of times to know that there's always something hiding underneath his own mind. A contingency. A classified info that could never see the light of day. Information on ancient lore. Fury has all of the answers, is something that he found out to himself was not an exaggerated claim to truthfully make. The old man had made it his life's work to know things that most people don't.
The second thing about Fury is that he doesn't call someone randomly. Usually, there's something of importance.
"Not a social one, I can guarantee that much," The old man with dark brown hair and grey sides, with a black eyepatch on the left, wearing a blue jumpsuit with white stripes, says with a stony grim face.
"Isn't that always the case with you, with all due respect, Director?" George controlled the urge to roll his eyes out.
"Real funny, kid," The old man answered. "I ain't got time for your sarcasm, so you better listen up, because this concerns you just as much as it is to me."
The old man then went on to explain as George listened. "Not more than a few hours ago, there's been a few disturbances that have been detected within your corner of the multiverse. From what my agents on the ground had gathered, HYDRA seems to be making its move. What that is, I have no idea, and neither do my agents. There's no timeline inference that suggests that HYDRA is attacking from the past or from the future, so clearly HYDRA's planning on attacking your relative present. The question is what. Any ideas, your majesty?"
George pondered over what Fury said, as he lowered his head. "Hmm. The only possible thing I could think of is the major event that's about to come up tomorrow. Something about the KiraKira PreCure A La Mode having to celebrate their restaurant's 100th anniversary. Many of the PreCure teams would gather there, and it would take place in Hagukumi City."
"Hagukumi," Fury frowned, as his eyebrows lean downwards. "Isn't that the same city where-"
"Yes," George softly cut Fury off. "Yes, that's where she lives."
"...And is your head in the game?" Fury looked doubtful.
"My head is straightforward, that's all I'll say about it, Director," George said respectfully, while cutting off any conversation relating to a specific person.
"Hm. Well, forgive me for doubting ya', cause your old pal Hydr-O," George's attention was fixed upon the name. "He's leading this op. Again, I don't know what he's actually planning, but considering his grudge match against you and the Cures, best place to look for is that event you just mentioned. Want my advice, call the troops, tell them to stay sharp and keep a look out for anything that happens in that event."
"...I'll do just that, Director, thanks for the heads-up," George said. "Anything else I should know?"
"Well, you haven't actually forgotten about that meeting that's about to happen, have you?" Fury asked.
"That meeting is still a few cycles away though," George knew what Fury was talking about. "Why? Did something come up on the Hellside?"
"Considering the tons of shit that's sprouting out from every nook and corner since ZFs, well, as you already know, your majesty, I've got swamped since last year in worrying about cosmic meetings where Hell Lords of various sovereignties are meeting up for table negotiations, because depending on how that goes, it pretty much affects my world as much as it affects yours," Fury replied.
George replied. "In respect to that, Lord Hades (*6) and a few other allies amongst the Lords of Hell are still keeping most of the malevolent and ambitious ones in line, so it's not like we have to worry too much."
"Sure, but for how long exactly?" Fury asked sarcastically. "All it takes is one bad day for everything to go to hell, and in this case, it's literal. This specific meeting that I brought up essentially concerns many of the more top head honchos of evil, dark lords and dictators worth their salt, titles, and power. That's how viably important this meeting is. If this meeting get's screwed and blows up on our faces, we'd be looking at countless uncontrolled time and dimension incidents, burning heavens and earths, dead men walking while being meatsuits to demoniacs, and souls getting dragged to hell and back to hell. Souls are the new price tags of war, and whoever is the victor get's to enjoy the spoils."
Cosmopolitical and extrapolitical tensions rise high every single day ever since the aftermath of the Zero Flashpoint event (also called ZFs) and the One Week Later event (also called OWLs).
There is a war.
It had been waging on long before George was even born, and had been fighting in that war for... centuries. Various rulers of a concept called Hell waged their dozens and dozens of proxy wars, which coined the term of the conflict itself: The Proxy Wars. Three enemy combatants, representing factional terms of Order, Metal, and Will.
HYDRA represents Order. A rogue artificial intelligence created by scientist-superhero Hank Pym, through the usage of countless proxy artificial intelligences and other means at its disposal, represents Metal. The Hell Lords are a faction that isn't really unified, divided into several moving independent parts, making up and representing Will.
The specific meeting that Fury and George were referring too hinges on the fact that many highly recognized leaders of the concept of Hell would be in attendance. That meant various personalities which would almost certainly clash respectively, which may incite conflict, if not an armed one in an almost immediate fashion.
As the High King of Camelotgard and the Human Overseer of Hell, it's George's job to keep things peacefully... as much as things stay peaceful in a meeting like that.
If the meeting goes wrong, George and Fury are going to be looking at their jobs getting a lot harder, with more blatant disregard on the Hell side and such. Countless uncontrolled time and dimension incidents, burning heavens and earths, dead men walking while being meatsuits to demoniacs, and souls getting dragged to hell and back to hell. In a word, an overexaggerating of the already present state of affairs. The Cold Wars getting too hot.
And as for the aftermath of Zero Flashpoint (ZFs), his world, Fury's world, and many others are still trying to heal from it, as things practically... rearranged things in the multiverse so to speak. The World of the Pretty Cure - George's native reality for instance had changed slightly, as it got dragged to Fury's World's cosmology and becoming its own prime reality. And by slightly, George would mean a lot. Cities like Mitakihara (*7) now exist in his world. Institutions like Viktor Chondria University (*8) now exist. Variants of people from Fury's world, even ones that George knew, now have alternate versions who live in George's world. The history of the PreCure still remains the predominant history. Everything that still happened to the Cures still generally happened.
But it does not change the fact that George's world is now a new and entire history of its own, different from what came before.
"I won't let anything happened to our worlds, Fury, not this time, and if something does happen, you know that the Midnight Sons would always be here to defend and avenge the innocent," George promised.
"That's essentially one of the few things I am actually counting on," Fury grimly said. "Some of the Sons are Hell Lords themselves who are viable for entry into that meeting. From what I heard at least, they had a couple of secret pre-meetings in preparation for that event."
"I know, I was there when those meetings went down," George nodded.
"Admittedly, I'm still not entirely confident that it would enough," Fury spoke grimly.
And cue the present day, when George is taking a drive with Acrohopper.
"So Fury's still worried about that?" Acrohopper asked, raising an eyebrow, if he had one.
"You can't blame him for worrying too much, Acrohopper," George spoke empathetically. "I too admittedly have some doubts. It's been one year since Zero Flashpoint, and things have been... relatively calm, barring skirmishes here and there, such as last night when I recently took care of the Helless. As far as a Post-Zero Flashpoint era is concerned, most of the Hell Lords of the First Sovereignty essentially agreed to a ceasefire, directly at least, as they can still enact their plans via proxies and such."
"Well, that meeting is still far off anyway, partner," Acrohopper reminded. "The present threat that we still have to worry about is HYDRA. Despite having regained control of the timeline and banished HYDRA's influence, HYDRA's still as powerful as ever. Many of the things they did in Zero Flashpoint were something they still had... and not to mention, well, Takumi-kun and a few."
George's face darkened as he accelerated the bike at top speed.
...He still recalls clearly of The Winter Cape... and all of the dead PreCure that he left behind in his wake. And he wasn't the only one. George had a fear, the fear of his sins catching up to him and everyone else. If HYDRA's on the move, he worries about Takumi, because despite his check ups and such where they expunged his brainwashing, he's a ticking time bomb waiting to happen.
The only question is when will that happen.
"Not to mention, Hydr-O's involvement, and I'm worried even more for Nodoka now. First thing he'd try to do, if he's able to, is to go after is her and end her... which he won't." He said the last part with an edge.
Song: Light and Shadows - Corpse Party Blood Drive Music Extended
Part 2
Her name was Hana Nono. She was Cure Yell. The leader of HUGtto! PreCure. She started out as a PreCure back when she was in her second year of middle school. It had been about two years now, and at present, she's now a first year high school student. Her height had increased from how she was in middle school. Time had flown by so much. It didn't feel like much had changed with her. She was still as lively and energetic as she ever be. That's why oftentimes, she'd be made fun of with good cheer as the happy-go-lucky cheerleader of the team.
Hooray~! Hooray~! Me~! She would always say.
...Though now.
"...Hooray, Hooray, George..." She muttered softly, as she looked at the horizon, when the morning started to shine. That dream that she had - what her fellow PreCure that were with her had. She knew that all of that had happened inside the dream. It was a dream about a young man named George Kurai.
George Kurai. The name held such contradictory significance for her. She never... really found out what was the big deal about him. Hugtan... Hagumi-chan (*1) sure wasn't going to tell her much about it. Too much information, she would say. And the fact that she was actually Hagumi-chan's mother isn't helping the matter.
"Hana-chan?" She turned towards the right and sees her friend and fellow PreCure, Saaya Yakushiji (*2), who would look at her with a concerned expression. And the others along with her, the HUGtto! PreCure team, were looking at her with similar expressions. "What's wrong?" Saaya asked.
"Eh?" Hana muttered in surprise, before quickly recovering as she made a cheerful expression. "Oh, umm, nothing. I was actually just thinking about this event that was coming up. Like, we already know that this event was coming after Ichika-chan chatted it on our PreBook and PreCord (*3) page, so I was wondering what I can do to help with the festivities."
"Hana-senpai," Emiru Aisaki (*4) spoke with a slight corrective, yet still respectful tone. Hana looked at the now grown up middle schooler who had grown taller and whose beauty was quite apparent. In fact, it was said that she was quite popular in Hana's former school, L'avenir Academy, the school that Emiru and Hana's little sister were now attending.
"You're worrying a bit too much, Hana-senpai," Emiru reminded with an understanding smile. "Try to relax, nothing bad's probably going to happen, and the event would go off without a hitch."
Hana twitched a little, and made an exasperated smile. She knew that Emiru meant well, but that's an unintentional jinx on the girl's part. Hana's thoughts turned into a frown.
That reminds me... I do wonder what Yukari-senpai and Amane-chan are doing about all of this. They were with me in that dream too. And from what I know, the HeartCatch PreCure! team would be the ones who are the earliest to come by the shop, so they'd... they'd probably start discussing what happened in that dream. Maybe I can probably try to catch up...
"Ah, Hana-senpai, where are you going?!" Emiru asks, looking at Hana who was now running a little.
"Umm, sorry, everyone, I'll go to the shop first, there's something I just remembered that I needed to do," She would say with a contrite smile and hand wave.
As the girls watched their leader leave, Homare Kagayaki (*5) would have concerned and suspicious thoughts about the former. "Ne, girls," She would say, looking at the others. "Don't you think Hana-chan's acting a little weird lately?"
"Hmm? What do you mean by that, Homare-senpai?" Emiru asked, looking incredulous.
"At least from my brainwave scanners," Ruru Amour (*6) would speak up with a hint of curiosity mixed with concern. "I've detected an emotion of anxiety coming from Hana-san ever since I laid eyes on her. Perhaps she's troubled by something?"
"But, what would trouble her now at this point?" Emiru asked, before she too became very worried. "You don't think...?"
"No," Homare shakes her head, understanding what the girl was implying, but she doubts that conclusion. "And even if that were the case, why now? The Criasu Corporation had disbanded years ago, or years later, from what Harry told us, and no one has actually seen or heard from George Kurai after that. From what I heard at least from Hana-chan, he isn't gonna be bothering us again, so... again, why now?"
It only left the team worried for their leader. In an instant, they would try to run and catch up to her.
"...Alright everyone, are we all set and ready~!"
"OOOOOoooooohhhh~!"
With various blackboards that had various pinned papers and other drawings, Ichika Usami (*7), would say with a loud cheer as she raised her arm, with a closed fist. Everyone else emulated her in their own way. However, there were two among the participants who were, in a sense, not entirely focused on the discussions.
That would be Yukari Kotozume and Amane Kasai.
As both of the Cure teams decide to prepare, Yukari and Amane would be around a private corner, somewhere where no one would look. They asked to both be excused for the moment. As far as the others are concerned, they were simply talking about some private girl stuff, though Yukari did noticed Akira Kenjiou's (*8) look. Yukari would probably need to tell her after their conversation. She doesn't like keeping secrets from her.
"So," Amane would ask Yukari. "How do you think we would handle this?"
The high school graduate, now college student, Yukari, would answer in turn. "Well, Yuri-senpai would probably have told Kaoruko-sensei about that strange dream we had. What do you think about this, Mistress Love?"
"Hmm," Yukari looked thoughtful, putting her hand to her chin. "I'm neutral about her for the moment. She doesn't appear to be hostile to us, and is someone that seems to know of and is related to Hikari-senpai. For now, I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt and take her word at what she said."
"About George Kurai, you mean?" Amane sported a grim look, putting her hands to her waist. "I'm more concerned about how we seem to be sharing memories about George, the younger one I mean."
The PreCure in general knew of George Kurai as the enemy of the HUGtto! PreCure, and of Cure Yell most especially, for reasons that most couldn't fathom. Not even Yukari knew fully of George's deal with Hana, as she was one of the Cures involved in the fight. Of all the personal enemies of the Cures, the Criasu Corp was one of the worst threats they faced. If they win, their entire futures were literally lost, the world would become stagnant, and everything is in stop-time.
The George Kurai they knew was the one who headed the Criasu Corp. And yet... they also knew another George Kurai. It was... variable. From Yukari's and Amane's perspectives, they knew George back in their childhood days. In those moments, they could slowly but definitely recall something attacking them. When George is around, that element usually follows close behind. The strangest part were the ones attacking them.
Not all of them were the same, nor do they all seem to be a part of the same group. In fact, there were two or three that were even fighting amongst each other. Countless names pass through their minds, as they bore witness to these strange creatures. Something that Mistress Love's doing perhaps. They generally understood that these "beings" as it were did not belonged to Earth, nor to any dimension they were generally familiar with. They all came from somewhere down below, relatively speaking.
However, amongst these infernal creatures, there was one noteworthy thing that they could clearly recall. Demoniacs with black eyes. They were the absolute worst. It was not just because they were clearly possessing people, but the way they tend to act.
...Yukari recalled it clearly.
It was... night...
And she was surrounded from all sides by people, including her grandmother, who had black eyes, and had terrible, deranged grins that should not belong to their faces.
"...Stay behind me," George spoke comfortingly with a grim tone, as he used his right arm in a protective gesture, and used... some kind of weapon. A cross, that transformed into a shield that emanated a kind of light that made the ones with black eyes hissed like snakes, and even cursed George to his face in various languages.
"These memories that we both have," Amane spoke softly. "They seem to contradict our own past memories as well. Why is that?"
"...So you girls are starting to remember."
"...?!" The two turned around to see Takumi Shinada leaning on the wall. He was wearing a white chef's uniform, and his face and eyes were serious.
"Wait, Takumi-kun? But, when?" Amane looked surprised. Where did Takumi came from? How come he just snuck on them so easily? Did he even went through the door?
"Can you please explain everything from the beginning?" Takumi asked. "How much do you recall about George Kurai?"
Both Yukari and Amane looked at each other, with concerned expressions.
Her name was Nodoka Hanadera. She was Cure Grace. The leader of the Healin' Good PreCure. She started out as a PreCure back when she was in her second year of middle school. Before that, she had suffered a long illness that made her bedridden. She didn't knew at the time that it had been caused by a future enemy of hers, the one that had long since been destroyed.
Daruizen... (*9)
Does she have any regrets for not saving him?
Quite frankly, no. She knew that the man had made his choice. If she had tried to help him, it would only continue the unnecessary cycle of suffering that had been imposed upon her. She had made peace with that choice, to let him die. It was not her obligation to save him, especially when he is fully intent to commit the same evils that had plagued her, her family, and everyone else in her life.
It had to end.
Now...
"Nodoka..."
She softly smiled as she looked at her concerned fairy partner, Rabirin (*10), who would float over her shoulder.
"What's wrong, rabi~?" She would ask.
Currently, they and the other members of the Healin' Good PreCure were riding on a train heading towards Hagukumi City. All that time, Nodoka was thinking of one peculiar young man who had strangely been through all of her life.
"...Thank you, George," A young Nodoka smiled softly, confined to her hospital bed, would say as she would see daisies on a vase, placed on a nearby table, for her to smell. In the language of flowers, it symbolized innocence and hope, making it the perfect option for gifting someone that truthfully needed support and encouragement.
George was silent, yet nodded.
He never really spoke too much, but he did make his presence felt. He didn't need to say much. Him being around was a comfort to her. Though that's what made her wonder a bit. She never recalls George being a part of her past. It... It felt very strange. And yet, her heart soared.
She remembered him being this mysterious but kind young man who visited her in her hospital bed and would be the one who would place flowers on the nearby table that one time. They were simple daisies planted in a vase. In the language of flowers, George would say, it symbolized innocence and hope, making them the perfect option for gifting to someone who may need some support and encouragement. It was George's way of encouraging her as most of the time, he speaks briefly.
...She had wondered what happened. She could recall every memory that she had with George, and many of those were the happiest that she could ever had. But... that doesn't mean she recalls everything.
Even though I remember you, George, I still can't recall everything. Why? What... What happened that time? She thought.
While Nodoka was deep in thought, the others would look at her with concern in their hearts.
"Ne, Chiyu-chi, Asumi-chi," Hinata Hiramitsu (*11) would ask the others, whispering a little. "Nodoka-chi's been like this ever since we left Sukoyaka City (*12). Do you girls know anything about this?"
Chiyu Sawaizumi (*13) would speak up with an anxious frown. "Hmm, I don't know what's wrong. How about you, Asumi-san?" She turns towards the Asumi Fuurin (*14), who spoke in turn. "No, I do not know of what is bothering Nodoka-chan at all. What about you, Latte (*15)?"
She asked the small light beige dog with big purple eyes that have a single lash and pink cheeks. The dog shook her head, indicating that she knew nothing.
The girls turn towards their fairies, who shake their heads.
"Hey, don't look us, we don't know either, nya~" Nyatoran (*16) says.
On the open highway, there was a yellow Hummer SUV that was being driven by Ageha Hijiri (*17), as she and the rest of the Hirogaru Sky! PreCure team head towards Hagukumi City. Even though she was busy driving, she, along with the others, started to slowly notice something.
Mashiro has been very quiet ever since they drove away from Sorashido City (*18)
"Mashiro-chan! Oi! Mashiro-chan!" Ageha tried to call out to the young woman who was looking at the window, but her thoughts were far away.
"Eh!" Mashiro, blinking a little, would notice her teammates looking at her with troubled faces.
"Are you alright?" Ageha asked.
"Eh? Umm?" Mashiro made a surprised expression, before slowly changing into one of exasperation and a wry smile. "I-I'm alright, why?"
"...Well," Ageha made a hesitant expression while focusing on her driving. "You seem to be a little down right now ever since we all left the house, not to mention you're barely talking." When she said that, the rest of the team members would nod in response with humming sounds.
"Down?" Mashiro tilted her head and made a subtle but forced smile. "Umm, I don't know what you mean, Ageha-chan, ehehehe."
"...Actually," Tsubasa Yuunagi (*19), seated on the front towards the left, would speak with a curious tone. "What's that you're holding, Mashiro-san?"
"Oh, this?" Mashiro would look at the bag that contained the picture book that she dreamt about.
Her smile turns melancholic and sweet, a different kind of face that... showed a little affection as she gently patted her bag, and she stayed quiet for a bit. Everyone noted the way Mashiro looked, as they slowly widened their eyes, because they didn't truthfully expected this kind of reaction.
Wha-Wha-What's with this reaction?! Tsubasa thought.
Wait-Wait-Wait, why is Mashiro-chan looking like that?! Sora Harewataru (*20) thought.
Could it be... Ellee-chan (*21) thought.
...Someone in love?! But, who?! Is it someone from Mashiro-chan's school?! Is it someone I haven't met yet?! Ageha thought as her mind scrambled.
Mashiro smiled a little. "Well, do you girls still recall that book that I wrote, the one that was seemingly based on the myths of our world as well as Sora-chan's world?"
The girls and Tsubasa looked at her with a look of epiphany.
"Oh, do you mean that book?" Sora asked. "The Once Happy But Sad Child Who Became The Red Cross Knight Who Saved The World And Became King."
"Yes, that's the one," Mashiro nodded. "I... did considered this book to be a very special one that I wrote. I thought of bringing it with me so that I could show it to the other teams too."
"Eh? But why?" Tsubasa asked with a look of inquiry. "Are you gonna be using this book for the event?"
"Umm," Mashiro looked with a soft, exasperated smile as she glanced to the left. "That's... Ah?!"
Mashiro widened her eyes as she looks at a passer by. It was... a young man with black rimmed glasses, with a dark blue jacket. He was driving a bike that blinked with red headlights.
"...George," She softly muttered, her heart clenching.
It was quick before he eventually accelerate his bike a bit away from the SUV, but not too far.
"Ageha-chan!" Mashiro spoke as she places her hands to the chair, sporting wide-eyed look, as she pointed towards the bike. "Follow that bike!"
"Eh?! But-Wh-" Ageha got cut off.
"Quickly!" Mashiro said with an exclaiming voice.

Part 3
"Partner, I think we've passed by-"
"I know."
George knew. There was no way he didn't recognize the familiar SUV that was driving around the road. That's actually not what he's worried about. He's more worried of something else.
"Kyaaah..."
He could hear the sound of echoes coming a few meters away. He droves fast to that location to see multiple cars stopping, and multiple civilians fleeing for their lives. He could see... ...cars being thrown off of the highway...
George made use of his power - using his mind, to only send the passengers of the flying cars away, and the cars themselves were transported to the ground. He did this with a simple gesture, with his right hand. He drove pass the abandoned cars through several openings before eventually stopping his tracks.
He eyed at the one causing all of the trouble.
It was a very tall humanoid, a little taller than George. He had a bull for a head, and above him was a dark crimson halo. He had silver chest armor plating that covered his entire body. He had a trident etched on the plating, as well as an actual trident located on his right hand. He also had two dove wings tainted in black, which he would use for flight.
George clicked his mouth a little, with a grim expression. "An Inferntaur. Not good."
Of course he wouldn't peacefully go towards the event without running into interlopers along the way. Inferntaurs are demonic creatures from a Hell Dimension that was ruled by the Hell Lord Asterion, The Blasphemer (*1). The Infernatur that he's currently facing happens to be an equivalent of a fallen angel of the twelfth choir - The Lepus Inferntaur (*2). The lowest rank. But not something for mortals to underestimate either.
"Ah, George Artorius the Infernal Slayer (*3)," the Lepus Inferntaur spoke with interest, as he raised his trident. "I knew that if I cause enough of a ruckus, I could garner your attention."
"Isn't this a little too early in the morning for you to cause trouble, daimon (*4)?" George said, as he got out of his bike and stood tall against the infernal beast.
"Oh, but I as well as my brothers wouldn't pass up a bounty of quintillion souls for bringing Artorius' head on a silver platter!" The monster spoke with glee, as he raises his trident.
Oh joy, yet another bounty of Hell against me, as if I don't have enough stress to deal with. George thought dryly.
And then, other Lepus Inferntaurs suddenly showed themselves, drawing forth their respective tridents. George numbered them to about... 100.
"Off with the Slayer's head!" The Lepus Inferntaur, the leader among them, would exclaim as they shouted with the sounds of bulls.
"That's?!"
"?!"
George and the Lepus Inferntaurs would look at the Hirogaru Sky! PreCure team looking at them in surprise.
"Well, it seems that we have company," The Lepus Inferntaur leader stated, recognizing the Cures with widened eyes. "The PreCure."
"You know about us?" Tsubasa narrowed his eyes, as he sensed the darkness that emanated from the bull-headed humanoid.
"Oh, we know you, all too well, PreCure," The Lepus Inferntaur leader said with a gleeful smirk. "This is perfect. Two for the price of one."
"Word of advice," George's tone was low, which made the Inferntaurs pay attention. "I would not underestimate the Cures if I were you. They've defeated gods and monsters much more higher in stature than you lot could ever attain too. You're just slaves, with no will but to follow against your classical joke of a master."
"How dare you?!" The Lepus Inferntaur leader was angered. "Such insolent tongue will not be tolerated against our Lord Asterion. Take him!"
While he commanded the rest of the Inferntaurs to charge, thunderous sparks would suddenly fly and explode those who tried, surprising the Cures and making the Inferntaurs stop their tracks.
George stood tall as he begins to bring both of his knuckles together, towards the right, as he lowered his face to the right. He swiped his right hand to the left before bringing his left hand towards the right. The thunderous strikes came from the belt that materialized. It had a dark green and white color, with golden stripes, with an "RXV" with two upward and downward N on each side and a partial infinity symbol seen on the left. The words "CENTURY KING" and the year "2100" was forming in continuous fashion. He would bring his left hand towards the upper left corner.
BLACK! ZI-O! END!
A voice echoed from the belt. Crimson katakana sprung out of the belt before it would eventually bring itself towards the black visor. There was a dark green watch that had been inserted into his belt, placed on the right holder. The watch had the face of a Kamen Rider with two sets of clock hands covering the pink visor underneath.
"Hen..." He muttered, before he begins to bring both of his hands to the right. "...shin!"
The belt would tilt automatically as it would encircle in a perfect 350 degree angle until it was back into position. Two giant holographic clocks would be seen, appearing behind him, moving in different directions from clockwise and counterclockwise.
Symbols of the 20 Heisei Riders materialized. Kuuga. Agito. Ryuki. Faiz. Blade. Hibiki. Kabuto. Den-O. Kiva. Decade. W. OOO. Fourze. Wizard. Gaim. Drive. Ghost. Ex-Aid. Build. Zi-O. They all encircled around him in a counterclockwise pattern.
On the upper corner above, there was a black and white cellphone with a red and gold button on top and a black screen hovering above the two clocks. The black screen displayed the year "2100" which synchronized with the year present in the driver which also said "2100".
2100. The End of the 21st Century. The End.
END TIME!
ALL FOR YOU! ALWAYS FOR YOU!
AOI KAZE NO HOPE!
KAMEN RIDER! BLACK! ZI-O!
A somber tone when the words "END TIME!" are in place, instead of "RIDER TIME!". The voice that followed, were three overlapping voices. One was the familiar voice of Future Cure Yell. Another was someone from his in-between life (*5). And finally, the voice of the High Queen of Camelotgard, Queen Guinevere. It was as if they were speaking directly to him, saying "ALL FOR YOU! ALWAYS FOR YOU!".
Future Cure Yell. The woman who had loved his other self, the George Kurai who became the villain that fought the HUGtto! PreCure.
A woman from his in-between life. Whom he truthfully loved from that life. The woman he had never seen again, for centuries.
Guinevere. The woman who had adopted him as her little brother, and the only true heir of her throne, as all of her family bloodline of the le Fay had passed on, and she never bore a child to anyone. It left him to take the throne, as High King of Camelotgard and of the Infinite Twilight Realms. The voice then changes into a singing-song tone, a line that said "AOI KAZE NO HOPE!" and the somber yet solemn announcement of "Kamen Rider Black! Zi-O!"
Smoke arises from his dark green armor like industrial steam as a bright white light materialized his armor, just as the holographic clocks dispersed. A pair of silver watchstraps draped over his shoulders like it was a stole, that had the symbols of all of the Heisei Riders now attaching themselves and draped on either side, the left: Kuuga, Agito, Ryuki, Faiz, Blade, Hibiki, Kabuto, Den-O, Kiva, Decade; the right: W, OOO, Fourze, Wizard, Gaim, Drive, Ghost, Ex-Aid, Build, Zi-O.
Twenty Riders. Twenty stories. Twenty lessons of life, fought for life, far more valuable than the concepts of truth, justice, and freedom.
Dark green "wings" covered his his shins, waist, gloves, and shoulders. The large crest-like shoulder pads were silver-edged with black and white curved lines under his neck and a silver neck-guard. The katakana spelled in the visor spelled "Rider" was present, his helmet face had etchings of the watchstraps, two watch crowns on either side of his head, and two sets of clock hands over the eyes, depicting 10 and 2 O'Clock. A V-shaped antenna was seen on the top side of his face, along with a dark green grasshopper mouthguard. A heart-shaped device attached itself to the left side of the chest, which had the year "2100" seen.
He has now transformed into Kamen Rider Black Zi-O - The End Form.
"...!" The Cures would look at the transformation in awe. And then... something clicked on them.
"...Wait a minute?" Mashiro muttered softly. "...George's...George's...a Kamen Rider (*6)?!"
But before the others could try to either think or comment on the situation, there follows a voice that echoed, drawing the attention of everyone, except for George...
"IWAE!"
The Cures would look at someone that suddenly pop out of nowhere, standing on a damaged car's rooftop. It was a man somewhere in his thirties, with black hair, a handsome face, brown eyes, and dark brownish cloak and attire, with a grey scarf surrounding his neck, carrying what appeared to be a book in his left hand. The book's cover seem to move on its own, strangely, like pieces of a clock and its parts.
He was Woz, the Prophet (*7).
"He is the Heir of My Overlord and the Heir of All Riders!" He boasted with a proud, regal tone. "The Century King of the End who brings hope and salvation, as he travels beyond time and space to connect past and future, the eternal protector of All Magical Girls, the beloved champion of Mother Earth Gaea (*8), and the Slayer of the Hydra!"
Then he concluded.
"His name is Kamen Rider Black Zi-O! To the Warriors of Light and to the Infernal Beasts, as well as all peoples, you have now borne witness to the new dawn of his advent!"
And the conclusion of the speech, Acrohopper would suddenly transform into a tall humanoid, activating its Battle Mode. Woz would disappear, as he said with his hand placed to his chest. "My young Overlord, I leave you be to deal with these curs personally."
The Lepus Inferntaur leader and the rest gnashed their teeth, in irritation, and mayhaps a bit of fear, a far cry from their hollow bravado.
"...Well?" George taunted, with a solemn tone. "Come at me, all of you, if you dare."
Before they could decide to attack
Mashiro, having heard enough, would draw out her transformation device, with the others following as bright lights come out of them.
"Hirogaru Sky! PreCure!"
They all exclaimed as they stood tall and made their poses.
Then, the Lepus Inferntaur leader would signal the charge with his trident. Mashiro, now transformed as Cure Prism, was quicker, as she made use of the energy in her feet to suddenly bounce like a rabbit and perform a double punch maneuver that sent two of the Lepus Inferntaur against their brethren towards their fellows, exploding like mist. Her hands now touched the ground as she twisted her legs before she puts herself upward, as she landed her feet on the ground.
"...George," Cure Prism muttered softly. Black Zi-O would look at her with a meaningful, yet softer look, along with some feelings of guilt.
"Triple Sky Punch!" Sora, as Cure Sky, would exclaim as she quickly transports herself through several locations, as if she was teleporting, and punches the Lepus Inferntaurs many times before they explode into thin air.
Ageha, as Cure Butterfly would soar through the air, and bring down a few of the Lepus Inferntaurs with her butterfly materialized kicks, sending them crashing on the ground.
"Wing Attack!" Tsubasa, as Cure Wing, would exclaim as his body lighted up with an orange aura. He would twist his body as he dodges the countless light attacks that the Lepus Inferntaur would send, materialized yellowish tridents of pure potency. He punches through and destroys each and every single one in sight.
Cure Prism and Black Zi-O would narrow their eyes as they look at the Lepus Inferntaur leader, who narrowed his eyes.
"Come, I beg thee, to my aid, O Lord, Our Father Asterion, The Great!" The leader invoked the name of his lord. It was something well known within the studies of magic, to be able to invoke higher beings. Of course, this is dependable upon the being in question, as at times, it goes both ways, and it often has a price in the case of malevolent entities, as most Hell Lords are.
What Black Zi-O and the Cures were seeing were materialized flashes of crimson lightning that were erupting from the grey clouds that suddenly came down. And it rained down hellfire. Ellee-chan, as Cure Majesty, would suddenly emanate a bright hallowed light within her person to act as a shield of sorts to counter the devasting rocks and hellfire as she punches through undeterred.
She flies, soars, as she tries to reach the leader of the rabble who has already taken to flight.
Acrohopper would use his weapon systems to fire a set of blasts, of green energy, that would knock down all of the Lepus Inferntaurs that were within his line of sights. He also provided cover fire for some of the Cures who were engaged against hosts of the Lepus Inferntaur.
As Cure Majesty breaches through the last flame, she was right close to the leader. With one powered up punch, she could end it.
However, it was not so simple, as the leader dodges the punch. Then he would dodge another, and another, and another, as he skirts through several points. He would aim his trident in melee while also using it to conjure steams of pure water that would rise up like a geyser. Cure Majesty was not deterred, as she dodges the attack, landing on the ground with a few back flips before kicking some of the Lepus Inferntaurs away, exploding as a result.
ZIKAN CROSSFIRE!
Black Zi-O brought his Silver Cross that materialized from his left hand, which emanated with a pure White Light. It struck through the clouds as it evaporated, returning the morning sun. The Cross would transform into an ancient tribe shield, that had the image of the cross on its center. The Shield of Aptitude.
"Prism!" Black Zi-O spoke her name.
"Hmm!" Cure Prism nodded.
There will be a time and a place for explanations. Now... they would fight as one.
"Prism Shot!" Cure Prism held her hands upward, as she summoned a vast amount of pinkish energy, larger than a globe. Then she shoots it towards the Lepus Inferntaur. The energy would divide into several, showing no escape. Cure Majesty, smirking, went out of the way by teleport just as the beams passed by.
"GRAAAAKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!"
It threw the Lepus Inferntaur leader away as it would crash land on the ground. Black Zi-O would begin to intercept. He transported himself instantly towards the crash site. There, he was awaited by the fellow Lepus Inferntaur soldiers, who wielded their tridents at him.
PERFECT TIME! KUUGA!
Then suddenly, as the Kuuga symbol would emanate from his strap, Black Zi-O transformed into another Rider.
A black suit, red armor on the chest, simulated within the chest was a golden collar with ancient letters of an ancient language of the early tribes, red gloves that covered his forearms, and white round shoulder straps, at the waist was an arched belt with ancient writings while a sphere lay inside, a pair of gold stalk with a red gem, a golden bracelet on the legs, with small red gems, and a black helmet with large red eyes, with a large golden horn on the helmet, which extended longer on its head, the silver mouthpiece has the shape of strata, very similar to an insect.
He has transformed into Kamen Rider Kuuga.
He would throw his shield towards one of the Lepus Inferntaur, sticking it towards the chest, causing him to cough up reddish blood. Using his kicking power, a fraction, he would use it as a support to touch his kicking feet, using it to kill the monster, while he twists his kicking maneuver to include at least five more of its fellows, destroying them with ease along with the rest, like an open cross of flames.
The shield automatically returns to him, as it transforms into a sword. The Sword of Bravery. He lands on the ground as he had the sword on his right hand. He stood up as he walks towards the incoming foes.
PERFECT TIME! KABUTO!
Then a sudden blur, as Black Zi-O decimated his foes with his quick open speed. He had transformed into another Rider.
A black suit with red armor and some details kept in silver, silver boots with points left in black, forearms and arms covered with silver armor and silver gloves covered the hands, red shoulder straps with silver and black edges, silver knee pads, and on the waist was a belt with a beetle resting on it. The helmet was reminiscent of a beetle with a blue visor in the shape of the eyes, with the horn that helped divided into two points, resembling the horn of a beetle.
He has now transformed into Kamen Rider Kabuto.
The Lepus Inferntaur leader was already standing up. Guarding him were countless soldiers of Lepus Inferntaur, who were drawing their tridents and throwing them at Black Zi-O.
Then...
The sword would change into another weapon, transforming into a trident. The Trident of Faith. He used it to deflect the various tridents that were hurled his way.
Suddenly, the Lepus Inferntaurs that were blocking his way were kicked away by a butterfly shield conjured by Cure Butterfly as she and the other Cures arrived just in time.
"Sorry to keep you waiting, had to take care of a couple of stragglers," Cure Butterfly smiled, before glancing at Black Zi-O. Hmm... Who is this person? She thought, as she would still recall Mashiro's reaction to Ageha needed to keep up with him. Not just anyone could make a response like that come out of Mashiro. She would need to investigate and prod about this later.
...Though.
She finds it odd. How come...
...An image of a young man, wielding a cross of fire...
Wait... She thought, as it disturbed her a bit. How come I know who... George is...?
Her thoughts were distracted as the Lepus Inferntaur started to talk.
"Even if you have assistance with these Legendary Warriors, they won't be enough to keep you alive, Artorius!" The leader would suddenly disappear, and reappear, which forces Cure Sky to block his trident attacks with her elbows and arms. With a swipe from his trident, Cure Prism dodges, kicking him in the face, before the leader transports himself towards Black Zi-O, who parries with his own trident, sending his boots sliding on the ground, as his body moves, striking down the nearby trees before stopping himself, which the leader took advantage of to dodge the sway of holy light...
...Before it struck him unawares, as the light seems to move on its own.
Using both of her hands, as she moves forward and stops, Cure Prism shoots down the Lepus Inferntaur leader, sending him crashing as inflicting damage rained upon him, due to the anathema of pure energy that emanated from the girl's blasts. Cure Majesty found an opening and struck him through the solar plexus, sending him crashing towards a tree, that was crashing down.
Then suddenly, more of the Lepus Inferntaur soldiers would suddenly come forth, in about two hundred numbers, flying through the skies, aiming their trident.
Fiery explosions came forth as Acrohopper, in Vehicle Mode, came out and started firing against them with green beams of pure energy. He transforms back into Battle Mode, firing automatic rounds that made the explosive fireworks.
PERFECT TIME! AGITO!
He had transformed into another Rider.
A black suit with an ancient ring belt located around the waist. On his legs, there were golden circular knee pads with silver accents, golden bands just above the ankles. He also sported gold bands wrapped around his forearms. Above the upper part of the body, there was a thoracic armor with a golden front that simulated the pectorals, and an abdomen with a black rectangular stone in the center of the chest. Its sides were silver while the rest of the armor was black steel. A golden collar wrapped around the neck and connected to the black stone by a golden line.
Over the shoulders, there were black shoulder straps with silver finishings that ran around the center to indicate both sides. Above the head was a mostly black helmet with large red lenses that served as eyes. Above the mouth was a layered silver mouthpiece, resembling an insect. The edges of the oral fish were golden and connected between the eyes that rose between the "eyes" and widened in a series of horns that stood out on the forehead, and on the latter, there was a small blue gem.
He has now transformed into Kamen Rider Agito.
Black Zi-O, underneath his helmet, sported a grim face. He needed to end this now. He had the right set up. His precognition aided him. He knew the death of this daemon in front of him. It was his end.
"Everyone, Acrohopper, cover me," Black Zi-O ordered. "I'm finishing this."
Before the Cures could respond, Black Zi-O moved forward as a holy emanating light came out, with a seeping attack, it decimated all of the Lepus Inferntaurs, slicing them all down. The Cures responded by their own aid, with their own magical attacks that pressed on, trusting in Black Zi-O to finish the job, and the one who trusted him the most was Cure Prism - Mashiro Nijigaoka.
I never could fight beside you... Mashiro thought with determination. But not anymore. This time, I can, and with the help of my friends, I can reach you, we can reach you, George. She fires several shots against the monstrous horde that flew above.
FINISH TIME! AGITO!
Black Zi-O, as he hovered forward, would begin to form a posturing kick, as the symbol of the Agito would suddenly come out of his right leg. The Lepus Inferntaur leader could not move, as the moment the kick locked on him, it somehow bound him to that location. He could not budge, and could only submit to the power of Kamen Rider Agito.
The daimon could not even ask for help from his lord, as his tongue was powerless. Even if he did, it was of no avail. This was the end.
SHINING! TIME BREAK!
His kick then made an impact on the chest, all the while stabbing the latter with the trident's sharp edge blades, causing the Lepus Inferntaur leader to crash down on the ground. It try to lift itself up from the ground, before a spark of holy energy build up. "...My Lord Asterion... I have failed... Forgive me..."
Then he exploded, all the while as Black Zi-O would make a formal pose as his back turned against the daimon, lifting his trident up and pointing it northeast.
Meanwhile, the Cures, having already taken care of the last of the soldier daemons, would look at the figure in awe and curiosity.
Cure Prism smiled softly, whose sweetness was directed at Black Zi-O.
Acrohopper, having entered Vehicle Mode once again, would drive towards his partner, maintaining his silence. Black Zi-O detransformed back into George Kurai, who sported a solemn face, whose gaze turns softer as it directs itself towards the Hirogaru Sky! PreCure team. His Cross of Fire, disappears, leaving an empty hand... filled with its own sins.
