"Oh…looks like you met Ms Holden, Holden Marigold Shepherd."
"Oh…" Bandit and Chilli react dejected simultaneously after Bluey spoke, "...Ms. Holden"
After a long, hellish experience at school, Bingo was finally in the comfort of her home, eating steak and peas for dinner with her family with the Aussie night outside the kitchen, far from the hell she calls middle school. The German Shepherd teacher…who Bingo just learned she is called Ms Holden, really went ahead and confiscated Dougie's and her cell phone during recess. They really got her and Dougie to call their parents to pick up the cell phones from the Principal's office after school…something he just let them have it without issues because he was as baffled as everybody else.
Bingo just finished telling her family about her day at school, how she met the adult German Shepherd "Ms Holden" in her class (skipping entirely the fact that she separated from Bluey not to spend time with her and her friends), and how she confiscated her cellphone…After telling her story, Bluey immediately knew who she was
"Should have known all of this is because of Holden," Chilli says with a hand on her face as Bluey and Bandit have their mouths complete with steak.
"So all of you know about Holden?" Bingo asks, pointing at every member of the family with her fork
"Yeah" Bandit speaks after sending the food down his throat. "We got countless calls from the school because Bluey keeps getting into trouble with her."
"Massive quotation marks on that statement" Bluey objects with one fork up
"Seriously?" "Bluey…" Bandit and Chilli counter objects
"What about the time you kept talking to Mackenzie when she was explaining," Bandit tells
"Or the time you kept laughing with Chloe and Coco in her class," Chilli tells.
"Or when she caught you and Winton launching paper planes," Bandit tells.
"Or when you kept making that 'borp, borp' sound in her class," Chilli tells.
"Or when you kept passing a note in her class asking which traits of her is the worse," Bandit tells.
"Or when you tried to set up one of your friends with another classmate in the middle of her class," Chilli tells.
"Bailey was feeling lonely, so I tried to help-"
"BLUEY!" both parents exclaimed
"Ok, yeah, whatever. I wasn't a saint to Holden," Bluey finally confessed as she pinched another piece of steak to eat it.
"Well…Now I have to deal with her with the shadow of your reputation over me," Bingo says exasperatedly, looking at her sister beside her.
"Sorry," Bluey says in between bites.
"If it works for something, we don't like Holden either," Bandit says empathetically.
"Yeah…there is a sentiment around other guardians and teachers that she is being too much towards you guys," Chilli comments.
"If the adults hate her, imagine the rest of the school," Bluey says after swallowing her food. "There is a pretty good reason why your class is full of newcomers,"
"For real life?" Bingo says, "So why the heck did you guys put me with her in the first place?"
"Cuz everyone always rushes to get social studies classes with Dover's or Loudon's before the spots run out and end up with Holden's,"
"So I end up with the short end of the stick…wow," Bingo pinches some peas before taking them to her mouth.
"I did not make the rules," Bluey shrugs. "Although she is right about something, why would you text Dougie if he was right next to you?"
Bandit puts an elbow on the table to put his head over it and leans towards Bingo. Chilli pulls a sandal from under the table and shows it to him, threatening to throw it. The warning works, and Bandit leans back in his seat.
"He told me…" Bingo speaks to Bluey, "His Cochlear device does not work properly, so he wanted to talk to me through text."
"Aw, how sweet."
"Wait…" Bandit speaks shocked. "Broken Cochlear device?"
"Yeah…?" Bingo replied
"I heard about it at the university," Bandit says. "The electronic section is working with the company that made those implants to fix them."
"Oh yeah…" Chilli says after her lightbulb turns on, "I hear the news of the faulty Implants in the airport."
"Soooo, Dougie is suffering because someone is a dumb dumb," Bluey commented.
"I wouldn't say he is suffering…" Bingo steps in for her friend. "He seems calm and happy about the situation. He told me there are a lot of people helping him at school, so he is not worried."
"Oh…that's good," says Bandit, focusing on the rest of his dinner. Bingo looks at him with untrustworthy eyes. She knows he is being sympathetic towards Dougie because of the screwed-up he did the night before, so she just ignores him, showing her angry face at him, and focuses on the rest of the dinner.
"So besides Ms Holden being a…bad person and Dougie with his faulty implants. How was school today, Bingo?" Chilli asks innocently
Bingo rolled her eyes. The thought of her telling her to 'Just give it time' lingered in her head after a full day bouncing inside her mind, so she mixed her thoughts with her answer and fired away at her mother. "It wasn't good. Not a single good thing happened to me, and I still don't see how spending more time at school is going to help me."
Chilli frowns as she drinks from her glass. She puts it down and talks to her daughter, "Bingo… not everything needs a solution right away. Some feelings go away by just giving it time."
Bingo's face shakes with a thunderstruck expression, entirely in disbelief, and fires back, "Time!? Seriously!? MORE TIME?! Do you even care about me!?"
"Bingo…I do care about you," peacefully says Chilli in an attempt to calm her down.
"If you actually cared, you would have left me to stay at home instead of suffering at school with the false promise of 'everything will be fixed after a time.'"
"That's not how this works; you don't grow up without facing problems."
"But sending me to hell and sucking it up it's dumb."
"Bingo…" Bandit tries to call her in vain as Bluey looks uncomfortably at her mother and sister.
"I'm TIRED of giving it time." Bingo goes all out on her mother with no disregard for tone. "You really think you can just throw me in there and expect me to swim in the tank? No! Im flopping around like a fish with no water as you just keep telling me," Bingo talks mocking the tone of her mother "'Just give it time, little fishy, you will soon be swimming in water if you just give it time," Bingo returns to her normal voice to shot one last time "That's really idiotic of you, Mom, the freaking mother of the year right there."
BANG*
"BINGO APRIL HEELER!"
Chilli shouts out, smashing the table with her fist, shaking it, and shaking Bluey and Bandit up to their souls as their eyes shrink. Chilli continues talking as if she is cutting with a knife. "THAT'S NOT how you talk to your mother, young lady. And honestly…You would probably have a better time at school if you actually cared to go."
"ohh," Bluey and Bandit react, shocked, in an undertone with one palm over their mouths.
clap clap clap clap clap*
"Wow," Bingo says, sarcastically continuing to clap with both her hands really close to Chilli's face. "Congratulations, Mum, for finally figuring it out!" Bingo stops clapping and screams, "I DON'T CARE ABOUT SCHOOL!"
"So what do you wanna do in your future then, huh?" Chilli talks as if she is making fun of her. Focused on putting her daughter in her place, "Are you expecting Dougie to become an Oil magnate to support you and live happily ever after?"
Bingo stands up, leans towards Chilli, and threatens her with her index and a low, menacing voice. "Don't you dare get Dougie on this. He is not my boyfriend."
"Then stop acting like a spoiled brat. I didn't raise you this way!"
"STOP ACTING LIKE A BAD MOTHER THEN!"
…
…
…
The dining room falls silent.
Bluey and Bandit also fall silent. Bluey had her fair share of discussions with her parents before…but she never told her what Bingo just told her Mother.
Bingo looks at her mother straight in the eyes, a few millimeters from her face, with her heavy breathing, but Chilli has an intense, cold visage, looking back at her daughter, unfaced by the verbal attack.
"Go to your room…Bingo," Chilli says firmly, maintaining her strong face.
Bingo keeps her eyes looking at her until she shakes her head and says as she stands up and leaves, "Fine…I'm tired of spending time with a family that doesn't care about me."
After Bingo left the living room with strong steps, Chilli finally let herself fall on her chair. Under the astonished look of Bluey and Bandit, her face changed to a sullen look with her eyes aiming down.
PLAM*
The door of Bingo's room slams shut, reverberating throughout the house and startling Chilli. However, the slam also signals the freedom for the rest of the family to talk.
"What's wrong with her?" Bluey asks, shocked, looking at her father
"I don't know…"
"I know Bingo doesn't like the idea of going to school…but I never expected her to act like this…Or act worse than me."
"She is growing…this was bound to happen."
As Bluey and Bandit talk…
snif*
…A tear comes out of Chilli's sad eyes without her daughter and husband noticing her. The tear goes down through her cheek, wetting her fur, and she whispers with no voice.
"I'm sorry, Bingo"
While the rest of the family reflects on what happened, Bingo is on her bed, face down, screaming at the top of her lungs to her pillow and hitting her bed with both arms and legs, as she did yesterday. She locked the door to prevent her family from coming in so she could have her moment of isolation.
"WHY MUM HAS TO BE SO DUMB!?" she screams to the pillow. She keeps screaming and screaming until her arms and legs get tired and stop her tantrum. She looks tiredly at the nightstand beside her bed to spot her cell phone.
"Maybe Lila got better and can finally talk," she thought, reaching for her phone like yesterday. She looked for Lila's contact information and pressed the call button to make a call. She put her phone on her ear and waited…

"What in the world?" Bingo thinks as, again, Lila doesn't answer her phone. "She must be REALLY sick if she doesn't call me."
As Bingo moves her cell phone away from her ear, she quickly looks at the screen…And notice someone send her a message.
Dougie: Hey, Bingo, what's up?
"Huh…" Bingo curiously raises her eyebrow as she opens the notification to enter the chat with Dougie and text him
Bingo: Hey, im doing ok wbu?
…
Dougie: You don't seem that happy
Bingo raises her eyebrow again and shifts her mouth to the side. If She didn't know he was smart, now she does, but she decides not to tell him immediately what is happening.
Bingo: What makes you say that?
Dougie: I can tell…Besides, no one uses "ok" when asking how people are doing.
"He has a point," Bingo thinks. "I think… it's time to tell him, but don't trauma dump him."
Bingo: You are right, im not doing well right now
Bingo: It's my family, they don't care about how im feeling
Dougie: Wow, really?
Dougie: That sucks
Bingo: Yeah, I know
Bingo: Rn, im just in my room avoiding everyone
Dougie: Well, good thing im texting you right now
Dougie: Whatever happens, you are not alone
You are not alone…
That…is the perfect description of Bingo and Dougie. No matter how the world turns against her, Dougie is always around to give her a comfortable place at school.
She hates to admit it…But she would go to school just for Dougie if they had the same recess time.
A soft smile appeared on Bingo's face as she continued texting Dougie.
Bingo: Thanks Dougie
Bingo: You are the best
Dougie: Thanks
Dougie: Wanna read what my mom said about the teacher who took our phone?
Bingo: Ohhh, tell me more
With her tail wagging, Bingo moves herself around to be under her blanket. She turns off the lamp, and with only the light from her cellphone screen illuminating her face, she focuses on her conversation with Dougie.
She never really cared if she was going to sleep late.
Every second she spends communicating with Dougie is a second she will gladly spend for him.
Happy late Christmas to everyone HO HO HO HO
Hoesntly…Chapter was ready for Christmas…but im not that evil lol.
