Bo gripped blonde hair and yanked it downwards. As she did so, Lauren fell backwards on their bed. The succubus growled. The doctor was warm under her hands, under her body. Under her lips. She smiled against the woman's neck. It had been too long since they made love like this. Ethan was down for the night, and it wasn't really night as the clock struck one am on the dot. She lifted up to look the woman in her eyes. "Are we ready to have another child?."

Lauren laughed. "You're asking me that right now?."

"I am. I don't want to assume we are ready if you are not." Bo nodded and smiled.

Lauren lifted her hand to Bo's chin and like usual, the woman closed her eyes and melted into it. "You know I've never asked why you do that?."

Bo smiled. "I do it because it is comforting. I do it because it is warm. I do it because I can rest my heart with you. I do it because I love you. I meant it when I said it wasn't my heart that I was worried about. I knew it would always be safe with you. Even when you broke it and asked for a break, I knew I left it with you and that's where it stayed. Where it will always stay."

"Wow. Thank you for that wonderful answer. I love you, too. I have an answer of my own. Yes, we are ready to have our second child. He's getting bigger and needs someone to play with." Lauren smiled and pulled the succubus lips to hers. Bo closed her eyes and licked her lips as she pulled back. "I want to try something."

"A new position?." Lauren's eyes went wide and sparkled like a pool in Bo's eyes.

"No. I want to try and see if we can get pregnant a new way. I want to see if my idea works, and if it doesn't work tonight, we can always try tomorrow or the days after that." Bo whispered.

"What do you want to try?." Lauren asked curiously. She would always be curious about everything about her succubus. Bo has always been a literal walking science project.

Bo lifted her hand and waited for it to glow before touching Lauren's stomach. "I want to see if I just gave you a baby. Now, we will get some sleep because if you run a test now, you will never sleep and that's not good."

Lauren smiled as Bo wrapped her naked body around the blonde as if she was a human blanket. Bo is right about her sleeping, given what the succubus just tried to do, it will keep her awake in wonder if it would work that fast. If they would be expectant parents again once they got out of bed.

Kenzi and Tamsin.

"This is bullshit, Tamsin. We aren't thralls, Owen is. I just thought about a way to get out from under this." Kenzi sat staring at the woman.

"What are you thinking about?." Tamsin asked.

"I don't know the specifics on Lauren and the Fae before we met her, but I do know that she wanted to be free for a long time. How is this freedom for us? We made mistakes and are being treated like wards. She has been through a lot of shit recently, but she must remember how it feels to have someone who owns you. To make every decision for you. To tell you when you can do this, and when you can do that. We have to appeal to the human Lauren. If we can get her to remove the thrall on Owen, we can live a normal life again. Or as normal as life can be with so many Fae we knew now dead." Kenzi rubbed the back of her head. She was no longer wearing wigs. She wasn't allowed to switch up every morning, so she ditched the last wig that she had.

"Kenzi, that sounds good in words, but to actually do it with Bo and Aife still alive is insane. We would be asking Lauren to relive her already painful past. The woman died and came back to life. It's not like when Dyson died, and Bo brought him back. Nobody really cared. There wasn't a family involved. It was just him coming back to life and starting his ridiculous wolves mate for life bullshit with Bo. Bo is in love with Lauren and vice versa. More than that, they have a very powerful baby in Ethan who already knows how to thrall people. If we piss off that little guy, just think of what he would do to us. He doesn't know us. He doesn't love us. He already thought we needed one of his thralls to watch over us. We wouldn't just be going against Bo, Lauren and Aife, we would be going against him. That's more dangerous than anything we've ever done before. He has the power of Hades in him, and he already tapped into them. Do we live like shit? Yes, but at least we're still alive. The only way that I would feel comfortable having Lauren help is if she brought it up to us and not the other way around. You can ask for yourself if you want, but I won't be asking or plotting to." Tamsin looked around. She wondered where Owen was. If he was listening in on their conversation.

"He leaves us long enough for me to take a piss or shit. Other than that, we rarely get any privacy other than dressing for bed. We can't go out and drink. We can't even step into a bar before he yanks us away from the door. This sucks, Tamsin and you know it." Kenzi rubbed her face.

"It does suck, but we aren't dealing with girl scout Lauren, we're dealing with Hades brand Lauren. Sure, she's sweet to those she loves. We are not those people. We tried to get her serum. She's never going to trust us and that is extended to Bo, too. You screw with Lauren, and that would be like punching Bo in the face. She'd immediately retaliate. Be smart and let this go. If it's meant to happen, it will happen. But I don't see that happening." Tamsin grabbed a bag and opened it. The fries were cold, but it was food. Owen was feeding them when they looked like they were losing a lot of weight. Kenzi needed to put on some pounds so it wouldn't look like she's withering away.

"I'm just tired." Kenzi sighed into her burger.

Aife and Mason.

"Where is Lou?." Aife asked.

"She'll be here shortly. It sounds like her date was nice and she overslept, alone." Mason replied.

"You can date, too, you know. You don't have to sit around here all day. I have a full staff without the two of you needing to be here." Aife smiled.

"Just haven't found anyone that I want to date, yet." Mason laughed.

"Then get out there and look. Don't worry about the old succubus. I'm fine." Aife slapped his back.

"Did I miss anything?." Lou Ann rushed in.

"Girl, no. I was just asking why he doesn't date like you do. He can get out there and find someone. A girl friend. A friend with benefits. Something to get you into something else besides hanging around me. Besides, I am about to go and see my grandson. He may need Nana as backup." Aife grabbed her jacket, checked her appearance and bid them goodbye.

Bo and Lauren's.

Bo sat smiling and drinking a glass of water. As soon as Lauren is awake, they can check to see if they will be parents again. She could carry the baby too, but it's Lauren's turn to feel what its like to have a wonderful symbol of their love growing inside of them. Ethan was something that Bo never saw coming. She wasn't really looking for something so powerfully sweet. So warm. So nurturing to her own soul. Whatever darkness she once feared is gone. Gone like it was passed on to him but not really. Gone like it was just a human flu or other illness.

He's Lauren's too. That makes him incredibly smart and beautiful. A beautiful boy? Yes. She stood when she felt him. He doesn't cry to let them know he's awake or that he needs something. He's just quiet and patient. Something that makes his brunette mother laugh because those are not traits that he gets from her. Not even from his grandmother. "Hello my son." She smiled as she leaned over his crib and picked him up. "Mama's still sleeping so it's just me on diaper and breakfast duty."

Bo inhaled his scent as she quietly walked downstairs and into the changing room. Not his nursery because Lauren thinks that's too disgusting, and Bo agreed that it is. She kissed the side of his little head after cleaning him. "So, what are we having for breakfast. I know you're already tired of baby formula. Human food is not too bad. Eggs? Steak? I can chop it up good for your little teeth. Soup? Soft cereal?." Bo smiled at how warm he always felt in her arms. He won't always be this size. One day, he'll start talking and things will really be interesting. That's why she wanted to ensure that Lauren is a mother immediately. So that his little sister or brother won't be too far behind him in age and growth.

She rocked him in her arms as she tried to decide what to feed him. Lauren would pick something super healthy as Bo should. But nothing in their kitchen is unhealthy because that's how they shop. She jumped when their doorbell rang. Ethan's hand tapped her on her shoulder. "I'm ok. Thank you." She kissed the top of his head and walked to get the door.

"Mom. Good morning." Bo smiled.

"Hello, you gorgeous people you!." Aife smiled as she held her hands out to Ethan.

"You could have just kept him overnight." Bo laughed at her mother doting all over Ethan.

"No. You need to be a mother. A normal mother. You won't need to get up in the middle of the night with him, but you will need to be up like this. Early to feed him. Bottom line, you need to be the mother that I didn't get to be with you. I noticed when he briefly napped at my house last night, he didn't wake up crying. You'll never have normal children Isabeau. That's obvious. That's why Nana is here so early. For him and his thrall. We need to know where they are. I don't trust those little tools. So, Ethan, got something for Nana?." Aife smiled.

"If you're planning something with our son, we want in on it." Lauren spoke softly from the doorway.

"Lauren, you need to rest." Bo gently held her hand up.

"Back at you, doctor, whatever is going on here, I want in on it." The old succubus looked back and forth between the women.

"It is nothing bad, mom. We tried a different way to conceive our next child last night. I insisted that Lauren sleep afterwards. It's only been a few hours as it is." Bo pointed at the clock on the wall.

"And? I still want to know?." Aife smiled.

"I used my hand and before you say that's too much information, I only touched her stomach. When my hand lit completely up, I let go." Bo explained.

"Given who you are and what you can do, that will work. It will also work if and when Lauren wants to try that on you." Aife turned serious.

"That's how you conceived Bo? Hades touched you when you didn't want him to?." Lauren asked.

"He did. But not my stomach and that's all I am going to say in front of my grandson." Aife sat with Ethan and looked at his mothers.

"Now, about Ethan. What's this about his thrall?." Bo asked in a way that Lauren would be caught up in the conversation in case she didn't hear how it started.

"He may be Ethan's thrall, and he could be making enemies that could come back on this kid. You know I won't allow that, ever." Aife bounced him on her lap. When she felt his hand on her hand, she knew to stop. "Such a silent yet talkative little prince."

"Owen can take care of himself. He's not just Ethan's thrall, my handprint is on my son's mark. Anyone that tries to touch him would never forget that feeling. Long story short, whatever situation he is put in, will be exaggerated wherever he may be at the time. For example, if he's sitting by a fireplace, they will be burned alive touching him. If he's near water, they will drown on land or water. I know you have caught on by now." Lauren explained.

"I should have known you'd be far ahead of us." Aife laughed.

"I have to think ahead. I have always known how to be far ahead of everything. I've been that way since I was a child. It is not shocking that my child can do what he does. Hades or no Hades." Lauren stood and walked to get something to eat and drink. As she walked past Aife, she felt something. Ethan touched her stomach.

"There's my answer." Bo clapped.

"Yeah, for once, the only science that I need to rely on is my body." Lauren smiled as she rubbed her stomach.

"More food? My people will be on it. But not Mason and Lou Ann, I pulled back on their duties. Really I think it was more about loyalty than taking my orders. Lou Ann has done enough, and I am very fond of Mason." Aife pulled her phone out and sent a few texts. She smiled when she got an immediate response. "This place will look and smell like a super market soon."

"Speaking of which, he needs to eat." Bo smiled.

"Bring me something and I will feed him. You aren't getting him anytime soon." Aife laughed.

"You said I need to be a mother." Bo countered.

"Awww. I did. I did." The old succubus squeezed the baby and handed him to his mother. "I can wait." She sat back and kicked her boots off. There is never anything dirty in the Dennis-Lewis house.

"Not that I ever need to say this, but I hope you don't think that mom and I were trying to keep anything from you." Bo whispered behind Lauren's back.

"No. Of course not. I knew you would tell me had I not came down." Lauren shook off Bo's worry.

"I love you, Lauren. Thank you for everything that you've done for our family. You put a thrall over Ethan's thrall that will protect Owen and somehow notify us should someone be dumb enough to come after him. I knew you were smart, I just didn't know or didn't recognize that you are always looking out for us. Like you have always looked out for me. Even when I didn't deserve it or made you feel like an idiot for doing it." Bo laid her chin on the woman's shoulder and kissed her cheek before pulling back.

"It's just how I am. I am just happy that I still have those traits long after Hades put his hand on me. Not like he did with your mother of course but the way he had me doubting everything about myself. Everything about you. There is still so much to do. So much we still have yet to learn. To learn about him. To learn about me." Lauren diced some peppers and onions up for the omelet she's craving.

"Whatever we learn, we will face it together. We will love each other through it. We will protect him through it. We will protect our baby through it. I am right here, Lauren. I know what's its like not knowing. I knew that feeling for so long before I met you. You had my answers then and I will have your answers when we get to each stage of learning what's coming. Whatever is in me, we can use it to help you. The love. The powers. Everything. I don't like that you feel this way, but this is what love is all about. Being present with you in everything. Ethan will help you too. He helps me daily." Bo kissed their son. He's such a good boy that he just allowed himself to be held without making a fuss to be put down. "I can't spoil you, so, here you go son." The succubus smiled and put him down. She stood in awe as he walked so easily, so early. "Amazing." She returned to Lauren. "Are you ok, babe?." She wrapped her arms around the doctor like a standing cocoon.

"I'm better thank you. I guess the hormones have hit early." Lauren smiled through tears and Bo wiped them away.

"My kid. My kid will do that to you." Bo laughed.

Lauren turned around in the woman's arms. "I love you too." She smiled and wiped Bo's tears. It is never lost on her when Bo cries. A fae all her life, cries. It's so beautiful and sweet. "I never knew this until I knew you. Sure, I'd cry every time I woke up with a dead lover feeling the guilt of taking their life. How can someone that lights up my life so much be so afraid of the dark? You are not dark my love, you are love. You are loved. That's why I'm crying. You are so beautiful, Lauren. You just don't know how beautiful you are. We are going to protect our love. Protect our family. Protect our future and theirs." Bo gently rubbed Lauren's stomach. "He already told you that you are pregnant but go ahead. Go find out for yourself Your brain can't help itself." Bo laughed and backed up so the doctor could rush off to her lab and run her tests.
