I walk through the school's main entrance with a very tired face. I studied all night, drank a shit ton of red bull and I'm completely exhausted. It's all because of stupid, shitty, fucking math. I couldn't even see my boyfriend for a week. I missed him so much.

I make my way to my classroom. I look around for an empty seat, but most of the students were already in the classroom. I see an empty seat, but it was next to the Kuso kid.

GREAT! Just my luck.

I don't really like the guy.

He thinks that he's soooooo popular that he can get whatever he wants. He's so annoying and Hydron thinks so too.

I sat myself next to him without saying anything to him. I pull out my phone, trying to distract myself a bit.

"Hey, can I copy your homework? I forgot to do mine..." I hear Kuso suddenly say. I look up from my phone and turn to my side, to see him waiting for my answer.

"No." I simply answer.

"Why not?" he asks, kinda shocked. You really expect me to let you copy my homework, Mr. I-think-I'm-a-bad-boy-so-I-can-have-whatever-I-want.

"Because."

"Because what?" he insists.

"Because it's not any of your damn business!" I reply, kinda mean I will admit, but he deserves it.

"You don't like me, do you?" I just stare emotionlessly at him. I think he got the answer from the look I'm giving him. "Why? You don't even know me..."

"I think I know you pretty well."

"Then tell me what am I like. Ace, here..." he points at a green haired dude, who's sitting behind us. "... will be the judge."

"No way." I shake my head with a laugh. He's being ridiculous.

"See? You don't know me, so next time you don't have to be mean for no fucking reason." he angrily tells me.

"Okay, fine." I fully turn to him. "You think you can get everything, just because you're popular, good looking and the fact you're in the basketball team. You expect people to give you everything you want, but hey... you can't get it from me. I may be in a cheerleading squad and we will see each other a lot, but I will never like you, Kuso."

"Damn, Daniel..." Ace, the guy that's behind us laughs at the brunette. "She nailed it."

"No, she didn't." he grits his teeth as he turns his attention back to me. "I do NOT expect people to give me everything I want. I simply ask them and they give it to me willingly. You don't know everything, Misaki and don't judge a book by its cover. You may like me, once you get to know me."

"No thanks." I respond, turning my head to the board.

"Did that prick Hydron tell you those lies about me?" he asks.

I shake my head, even though he's kinda right. Hydron can't stand Kuso.

"I never expect her to be this kind of a bitch." I hear Dan whisper to his friend.

I turn my head quickly to this fucker again. "Watch your mouth, Kuso or you'll be in a hospital!"

"GOOD MORNING, CLASS!" the teacher suddenly bursts into the room. The brunette and I give each other a dead look, before we turn around to the teacher. "Has everyone done their homework?"

There was a dead silence for a second. Of course Kuso won't admit it, this confirms what I've been saying, he's nothing but a-

"I didn't do it." I suddenly hear Kuso's voice say. I turn to him with a shock.

"Why not, Mr. Kuso?" the teacher asks. Ha ha, Kuso will get in trouble.

"Because I forgot to do it." he casually replies. Who does this fucker think he is? He acts like it's no big deal. I swear to God if the teacher doesn't do something about it, I-

"I appreciate your honesty. Next time make sure to do it." Darn! I can't believe this.

I turn to him and I see him smirking at me. I give him a deadliest look and turn to the teacher again, completely ignoring the brunette next to me.

I hate this guy.

...

"Hey, girls!" I greet Alice and Julie, sitting beside them on the lunch break. Alice looks up from her book, smiling at me before she continues reading. I look at Julie and I see sadness all over her face. "What's wrong, Julie?"

"I like Dan Kuso so much and he won't even look at me."

"Oh, I think I need to tell you something..." I say slowly, which Julie understood immediately that something was wrong.

"What did you do?"

"I- um..." I struggle. "Kuso and I had a little fight."

"What?!" Julie exclaims.

"What?" I hear Alice say right after Julie.

"I said K-"

"No, I heard you. I actually meant what the hell?"

"He wanted to copy my homework and I said no. Then I told him everything I think of him. That's it." I explain, eating my lunch. I honestly think I did nothing wrong. He totally deserved it.

"Runo, what the hell?" Julie exclaims again.

"What? I'm tired of him getting everything he wants, just because he's popular."

"He gets everything he wants, because he nicely asks for it and people actually like him as a person, not because of people's thinking that they don't have a choice." Julie replies angrily.

"It's true, Ru. Dan is actually a really nice person" Alice defends Julie, making me pout a bit.

Fuck!

Maybe he's not all that bad. I mean I really judged him, without even knowing him. Why does Hydron hate him so much?

"I'll go apologize." I mutter, standing up from my seat.

"What? You'll do it now?!" Julie asks, kinda panicky. I only nod.

I quickly go to the table, where Dan was usually sitting at. It wasn't very far. I go behind Kuso, without him even knowing I'm near him.

I didn't know what to do to get his attention, so I just loudly cleared my throat.

He slowly, and I mean very slowly turns around and raises his eyebrow at me. His whole gang stares at me, confused.

"I'm sorry."

"What? I didn't quite hear you." Dan replies, smiling a bit. I know he heard me, but this fucker wants to tease me.

"I am sorry for my words earlier. It was very rude of me to judge you like that without even knowing you." I say, louder this time.

"Wow!" he grins, making me somehow nervous. Why am I nervous?

"Are we okay or what?!" I ask, little impatiently, because apologizing in front of his friends without them even knowing what I did is a little embarrassing.

"We're cool." he nods. I give him one of those fake smiles and I simply walk away.

I couldn't help, but notice that Mira and Fabia were there. I guess they are part of the gang. I just don't like Mira and I'm not just judging her without knowing her, like I did with Kuso. She acts bitchy toward some students, just because she's popular. Not gonna lie - I thought because Dan's hanging out with her, he's the same type of person.

I guess not.

He's still gets on my nerves though, so there's no chance of us hanging out.

But one thing I like about him and I noticed it right from the start.

His eyes.
