Normally when I post a chapter it means that I am in the middle of working on the next one. I do it that way so that I have some ground to stand on, keeping fresh ideas.

HOWEVER, I have not started the next chapter due to my schedule in both school, my internship, & my family. Nothing serious, but I needed to break away from writing for a bit.

As you may have noticed, I have mixed up the New 52 designs or settings with the original. I did that since there are things I like about both. I prefer the originals, but don't mind certain things in the New 52. Just wish they didn't make women look like sluts. Although villainess are naughty at times, so I make an exception with them.

Reviews are appreciated, but aren't necessary. Can't guarantee when I'll post again, but there's plenty of other good (& far better!) fanfics out there. Some of my favorite authors are:

White-Tigers-of-Darkness

Savy160

L-VanDattae

KatHarkness-Katara

Andrewthegreat1

Whistle-Mist

paganpunk2

Perhaps some of them are your favorites too, check them out! And thank you for stopping by :)

Chapter 5

A Week Later

Not so Far Near Old Gotham

"If they think we're done messing with the kid, they'll have to think again," chuckled Ivy as her flowing red hair brushed aside by her gloved hand. Normally she didn't bother with kids, especially since it was the parents to blame for them not having a deep respect for nature. She wouldn't admit it directly, but she really did like children, as long as they avoided harming her 'babies'. "I knew the brat was being eventually adopted by Wayne, but this bug we planted in him also has an amazing plasma within his blood stream. Along with that we have a tracer in him. It's anchored right to his spinal cord. We'll be able to follow his whereabouts and it has multiple functions to offer," she hummed almost to herself. She was wearing her lab coat and high-heel shoes, her eye glasses perched on the bridge of her nose. No one was really in their usual costume, at least not right away.

"Despite all of this hassle, is there by chance a reason why I'm here?" asked a young woman in the corner, her violet-hair rippling down her back like a flowing fountain as her red eyes pierced through Pamela's harshly. She was wearing a revealing gown, her chest close to being visible to the world unless she stood up straight enough.

"As much as you know about Bruce Wayne, I hear he is rather, well acquainted with several hero freaks we're trying to be rid of," Ivy said calmly as she continued to work on her newest concoction. "I'm sure you'll have your fun with those men, as well as Wonder Woman."

"I've been laying low I suppose," thought over Circe, the thought of revenge filling up her mind again as a deadly smirk cast in her gaze. "Can I mess around with the boy?" she asked. Circe was curious about how long the kid would be able to undergo her powers.

"No, not until we know what condition he'll be in. If he dies, this will all be for nothing. He hasn't recovered all of his memories with his past relationship with the Waynes'. However I have it installed in his microchip that it resets itself every week. It will wipe all of his new memories away, making him once again oblivious and easy to persuade later on."

"Little boys are by far easier to work with. It's a shame they grow up. Their innocence keeps them from turning into the pigs of full-grown men. No offense of course to you," she half smirked at Parasite darkly as he let out a sigh. It took all of his willpower to not suck the life out of the boy earlier. He was also getting irritated that he was nearly blackmailed into working with these women, as well as several other fellow villains and henchmen.

"I know that I have a reason to help, but what is your reason in this plan Ivy? What are you going to gain from it?" asked Circe curiously as Poison Ivy simpered, her plump luscious red lips curling up more at the corners of her mouth.

"Wayne Enterprise has made arrangements to build a chemical plant within the Sahara desert. I normally wouldn't care, however, there are several rare cactus species and other plants in that area. By controlling his youngest son, and having him work under our wing with crime, will be a great form of revenge. The boy having no memories, it will pain Wayne to see his child unable to recognize him. He'll be even more in despair if he figures out his son is causing havoc."

"I like the way ya think. This will be a fun game ta play," smiled Harley Quinn nearby as she took watch at the window. It was a quiet night for once, only because a good amount of villains were meeting all at the same checkpoint, aside from Arkham Asylum.

"I have to agree. I am wondering though how we are going to bring the boy here. The mansion is under high security, and I'm sure you don't want them to notice his soon to be frequent disappearances when he is doing us a favor," Circe said calmly. Pamela nodded in understanding. It would be an interesting strategy to pull, especially over such a secured facility.

"Do we really have to go through all of this trouble? I mean, just do what that clown does and videotape us about to torture the runt. That'll get them dropping us cash from the sky," he grunted as all the ladies rolled their eyes.

"Nuh uh uh! Mista J wouldn't want us ta use his ideas," chimed Harley as she hovered over the plans, twirling her gun in a carefree fashion. "He said in my free time I'm not allowed ta use his brilliant schemes, unless with his prior approval," she added as Ivy let out a chuckle.

"I honestly don't know what you see in that insane imbecile," she said while rereading their work. "I mean, I know the guy is treating you by far better after you gave him an ass whooping earlier, but I still don't trust him."

"Ohh you don't know anything about my puddin' do you sista?" Harley cooed as her gaze went dreamy. "Last month he went through the trouble ta steal all the prizes out of the cereal boxes in the stores for me. If that's not dedication, I don't know what is," she grinned as Ivy gave her a funny look.

"That's a cheap way to get your attention," she said as Harley let out a giggle. Circe and Parasite held back their groans. They just wanted to get back to business. They were also waiting for the Scarecrow to show up as well as Clay Face. Those villains were vital in the plan being a total success.

"Heh, yea, but he installed all the toys with his laughing gas at once, then put them all back in the boxes. While the city was freaking out over children collapsing from laughter, Mista J stole both the Key ta the City and a cruise ship, and we hopped on it for a Caribbean Cruise!" she squealed in delight.

"Say isn't that the ship that those prisoners were trying to escape from earlier this past week?" asked Parasite as Harley shook her head.

"Nope, that was at the opposite harbor. We used their escape ta our advantage," shrugged Harley as she continued to polish her gun. She had her blond hair pulled back in its usual pigtails. She didn't feel the need to dress up completely, considering how warm it was in the cozy shack of a hideout. She was wearing only a white tank top and short shorts. Her mask was still in place.

"The Scarecrow will help out with our plan. We just need to wait for him to get here," Ivy said, getting back to business. A faint creaking of a door opening made all the villains heads turn.

"Always happy to help such lovely ladies. Isn't fear amazing? Do you want to embrace yours?" came the menacing hiss of the Scarecrow as he strolled lazily on into the room. His eyes were slits in his costume, although by now everyone knew that he was Dr. Jonathan Crane. He enjoyed putting the scare in others and having them turn against each other.

"Save it fer the city, ragamuffin," cooed Harley as she cheerfully pat him on the back. "You have ta make a pit-stop first, but then ya can join up with me, Circe, and Parasite up in the city. We're going ta have a party," she squealed with delight. "Mista J said if he's bored he'd join up with us there."

"Lovely, just what we need, the homicidal maniac. Be a dear and keep him away from me," groaned Poison Ivy as Harley giggled again, amused at her best friends distaste in the Joker.

"I don't know Ivy, he has a thing fer green!" she giggled as Pamela rolled her eyes. Now they just had to wait for Clayface, and the fun would begin.
