The Kagaya Estate gleamed under a blanket of fresh snow, a warm light spilling out from its windows into the frosty night. The grand dining hall was alive with a mix of voices, laughter, and the clinking of chopsticks and dishes as the most unlikely assortment of people gathered for a Christmas dinner.

At the head of the table, Kagaya Ubuyashiki, serene despite the chaos, smiled warmly at his family and guests. His wife, Amane, floated gracefully between conversations, ensuring everyone felt welcome, while the Hashira each found their place among the guests.

Danny Hebert, looking composed in a dark sweater and jeans, sat beside Oni Lee, who was unusually relaxed in civilian attire. Across from them, Taylor Hebert tried not to cringe as her father skillfully wielded chopsticks to pick up a delicate slice of sashimi.

"Where did Dad learn that?" she muttered to herself.

Meanwhile, Lung sat at the far end of the table, his sharp gaze scanning the room. He couldn't help but grimace at the chaos surrounding the chopsticks.

"White people," he muttered under his breath, shaking his head as he watched Alec spear a dumpling with his chopsticks like a harpoon. "No, no, you hold them like this," he barked, snatching the utensils from Alec and demonstrating with exaggerated precision.

"Wow," Alec deadpanned. "Thanks, Dad."

Lung ignored him, turning his attention to Aisha, who had her chopsticks tangled like crossed swords. "And you, why do you insist on embarrassing yourself?"

Aisha grinned. "It's part of my charm."

"Take off your shoes before you sit at the table," Lung growled, his voice low but authoritative.

Several people froze mid-motion.

"Oh, crap," Brian muttered, quickly sliding out of his sneakers. Lisa gave him a knowing smirk.

"I told you," she whispered.

Lung's eyes narrowed at the pile of shoes near the door, some haphazardly thrown, others neatly lined up. He glanced at Danny, the only one who had entered properly and was now watching the scene with an amused smile.

"At least someone knows how to use chopsticks, if you don't know how to use the chopsticks then don't pick them up. There are forks here to use," Lung muttered, his tone begrudgingly approving. Danny simply nodded, maintaining his quiet demeanor. Oni Lee, sitting beside him, raised an eyebrow in silent curiosity but said nothing.

The dinner progressed, and the conversations began to flow more naturally. Mitsuri enthusiastically complimented the food, her delight contagious. "It's amazing! I've never had anything like this!" Lisa leaned in, smirking. "Is she always this bubbly, or is it the food?" Iguro, seated beside Mitsuri, simply glared at Lisa, his mismatched eyes narrowing as if daring her to speak again. Lisa, for once, opted for silence.

Toward the end of the meal, Amane rose, her voice calm yet commanding attention. "Now that dinner is done, it is time for the Secret Santa exchange."

The room buzzed with excitement as gifts were handed out. Aisha cheered loudly upon unwrapping a set of neon hair ties, courtesy of Mitsuri, who beamed proudly. Taylor awkwardly accepted a beautifully wrapped scarf from Giyuu, who managed a small nod before retreating back into silence.

When it was Danny's turn, he opened a neatly wrapped box to find an elegant set of handmade chopsticks, inlaid with silver and jade. He looked up to see Lung watching him intently.

"You'll actually use them," Lung said, his tone flat but tinged with respect.

Danny inclined his head. "Thank you."

The night wound down with Kagaya offering heartfelt words about unity and finding joy in shared traditions, even among the most disparate of people. His voice carried a warmth that settled the room, leaving everyone, even the more cynical members of the group, quietly reflective.

As they prepared to leave, Taylor walked up to her father, curiosity piqued. "Dad, where'd you learn all that etiquette stuff?" Danny shrugged, his face neutral but there was no hiding his red ears. "I had a good teacher."

Oni Lee smirked subtly, but Taylor, thankfully, didn't notice.

Outside, snow fell gently as the guests departed, laughter and good-natured teasing echoing into the crisp night. Despite the odd mix of personalities, the evening had been a surprising success, a moment of peace and warmth in a world often marked by chaos.

For once, even Lung seemed content as he sat in his car, watching the snowy scenery go by as the estate got smaller as the car drove away and his thoughts went back to Danny and Oni Lee and he shook his head and muttered, "Maybe there's hope for them yet."

Okay so I'm back finally, here's a Christmas special for you guys since it's Christmas and all and here's the list of gifts everyone received since I didn't write all of it down.

Mitsuri: A bag of hashbrowns, guess who gave her that. Oh and she got a makeup kit.

Iguro: Some mice for his snakes.

Giyuu: A lava lamp

Rengoku: Hair pins

Gyomei: A scarf

Uzui: Firecrackers

Shinobu: Herbal tea

Sanemi: Another practice sword, he said it was a boring gift.

Muichiro: A snow globe

Amane: A gold necklace with some silver earrings

Kagaya: He got the same thing as Amane, a matching set.

Lisa: Money

Brian: Money as well

Alec: A lightsaber (courtesy of a tinker) he won't keep it long though.

Rachel: Dog food for her dogs.

Lung: Premium sake

Oni Lee: A new set of daggers.

Okay so as you all can see by the lack of name for the demon slayer corps I can't think of one tbh, so like if y'all could just throw out a name that would be awesome. And I'm also thinking of writing something else, two things, one being Baldur's gate 3 and basically two people, friends, are brought into the game, so one is a hardcore player of the game while the other just watched the gameplay. I'm thinking of making one an aasimar since I don't think I've read anything about anyone being aasimar but I want to make my own twists to it. Anyways the second thing I want to write is more of a oneshot of a ghoul Taylor and Danny, obviously they wouldn't be labeled as heros since they'd have to eat people and all I really want to do is play around with the outfits since Tokyo Ghoul has some awesome outfits and masks. And for the Baldur's gate I want either of them or both to wear clothes from Bleach because they have amazing outfits.

Anyways that's about it so bye. I plan on updating this soon.
