Ken sat in his desk chair looking smug. "So? My device?" He asked. With any luck he could get to the digital world before the angel returned. Ken just hoped the angel couldn't enter the world as well. Osamu glared at the boy he now knew wasn't his brother, well not truly anyway. "Give me a minute." He replied and pulled out his phone. He sent Daisuke a message to come up with the digivice. 'It's not like he can do much with the cuffs on.' Osamu thought. He glanced at the response from Daisuke. "Its on its way up, where's Taichi?" Osamu asked again. Ken merely rolled his eyes. "Safe…for now." Ken explained. "Hes staying put till I advise him otherwise. It's truly amazing what magic can compel people to do. I almost don't even need the dark rings for the digimon anymore. Why settle for controlling useless data, when I can control actual real beings?" Ken mused.

"What the hell?! Ken digimon ARE real beings." Daisuke exclaimed as he entered the room carrying an adorned wooden box. Wormmon and Veemon following behind. Ken glared at the newcomers. "Maybe you're dumb enough to believe in a computer program and that's why I'm going to master it and not your useless team." "Dude you really are delusional." Daisuke claimed. He turned and pointed to their partners. "If they aren't real how are they physically here?" Ken stared at the two digimon confused. Genuinely at a lost for an answer. "Well it also turns out he's not our Ken. He's from an alternate reality." Osamu explained. Daisuke looked surprised. "Oh fun, that's a new one. I mean I heard your family has dealt with other realities in the past, but this is the first time for us." Daisuke said. "That definitely explains his behavior." Wormmon commented. "Less talking, more handing over what I want!" Ken hissed. "I'd like to be safely in the digital world before your angelic back up returns." Daisuke returned his glare. "Like we're gonna let you near a computer to escape." Daisuke said. "Here's your digivice, now where's Taichi?" Daisuke opened the lid of the curse box.

Ken glanced in there and saw a D3, however instead of the black and gray his digivice was he was met with a white and violet one. He growled in anger. "The hell is that!? I said bring me MY device, my dark digivice if you want your friend back! In case you're colorblind mine is black. That one's purple!" He shouted. "Dude this is your device…at least it's our Ken's digivice. See its light violet because it's meant to match the crest of kindness…HIS crest. Guess it wouldn't be yours considering kindness doesn't suit you at all." Daisuke explained. Ken snatched the device from the box with a huff and slumped into the chair. "Well that alters my plans a bit." He mused. He went to retrieve the laptop he sent flying earlier. "Oh hell you already have a computer!" Daisuke panicked. Ken smirked. "And if you want the location of your friend, you won't stop me from leaving." He stated.

"Wha what do you mean not exactly!" Daisuke asked, alarmed. Ken turned and looked back at the boy. "I am Castiel, where are your injured?" He said with a calm demeanor. "Wait a minute. Castiel? As in the angel Ken was telling us about? I thought he said you were some tall dude in a trench coat." Takeru said. Castiel again nodded. "Yes, the vessel I often use is that of a tall male. However, Ken said the aid you needed required us to come to the digital world. I wasn't able to enter with my current vessel. It is not what you children refer to as 'chosen'." Castiel explained. "So what? You hitched a ride by possessing Ken?" Daisuke asked. "It was his suggestion. Though not wise. There was a chance his body would not have been able to harbor an angel and well…could have exploded." He raised Ken's hand up to gaze at it and flexed it a few times. "Fortunately, he seems to be holding up." Takeru shook his head. "I have dealt with crazy stuff for years since becoming a digidestined. However this has to be the weirdest week of my life and it just keeps getting weirder."

Castiel glanced over the wreckage of the base. "I take it your friends are caught in there?" The angel inquired. "Oh crap that's right. Yes! You can save them right?" Daisuke said. Castiel smiled softly and nodded. "Let me run a perimeter check around the wreckage to see if I can pinpoint where your friends are. I can be there in an instant to heal and free them." Castiel said thankful Jack had restored his grace fully. He brought forth his wings to get ready to take off. He paused however at the gasps he heard. "Dude you just made wings appear!" Daisuke shouted. Cass turned confused. "You can see them? How strange, this world must allow them to manifest in a way humans can perceive." Castiel said. He looked to see that his large wings had physically manifested on the back of the boy he inhabited. "Why are they black? I thought angels' wings were white." Iori said, growing suspicious. "That is an inaccurate assumption humanity made. All our wings are different…" Cass paused and had a distant look as if he was listening to something. A small smile came to his face. "If you must." He said. The group looked at him confused. "If who must what?" Takeru asked. "Ken wants to try out my wings himself. It seems this is the first time he's seen them too as we've only ever interacted on earth." Castiel closed his eyes a moment and fell forward slightly as if losing balance before his eyes flew back open and he caught himself. The boy stood up and attempted to look behind him. "HOLY SHIT I HAVE WINGS!" Ken shouted excitedly as he attempted to flap them. He turned to Wormmon. "I can carry you in the air now! No better yet digivolve! I wanna race Stingmon!" "Ken, as cool as this is, we don't have time. Besides, do you even know how to use those?" Daisuke asked.

"Hey tell us what you did with Taichi! …Stop Ignoring us!" Daisuke shouted as Ken worked to reset up the laptop. "Remove these damn cuffs and I'll consider it." Ken said simply going back to what he was doing. "No way! You're hopped up on demon blood and know magic. You'll kill us." Came Daisuke's response. "I'm flattered you think me that unhinged, but I assure you I'm far more rational than that." Ken said. "Now how about this, you remove these cuffs, I give you your friends location. You let me leave through the portal, I message you the counterspell to snap him out of the daze I have him under. Deal?" Ken explained. The two boys paused to consider. "We can't let him hurt Taichi." Daisuke said. "We also can't let him escape. We may need him to reverse the spell and get our Ken back." Osamu argued. "Well I mean since he's not our Ken…we've tortured for less." Daisuke said. "I'm sorry you've done what?" Ken questioned growing a bit concerned as he attempted to pry the cuffs off. Daisuke smirked. "Thats right, we aren't above torturing for information. But don't worry it won't come to that, once Cass gets back, now that you're powerless he can easily get Tai's location from your mind." Daisuke said. "Daisuke hush!" Osamu said alarmed, however it was too late. Ken let that info absorb, grabbed his pack and immediately opened a gate with his device and went through. Cuffs or not, he wasn't sticking around to get his ass kicked by an angel. Osamu groaned. "Why would you tell him we were basically killing time!?" "I'm sorry! Look we'll go after him." Daisuke said, readying his digivice and motioning for the two digimon to follow. After he vanished through the gate Osamu sighed and slumped down in the chair and put his face in his hands. This week was not getting any better.

"Dude…" Takeru whispered in astonishment. As Castiel, having switched back in control of Ken, lifted debris as if it weighed nothing. The angel paused for a moment and reached his hand down, a small glow admitted from him and he helped up a person. "HIKARI!" Daisuke and Takeru yelled at the same time. "Are you ok child?" Castiel asked. Hikari stared at him confused. "Wha..what did you just do Ken?" She questioned. The angel shook his borrowed body's head. "Sorry I am not the friend you think I am. Though he is here and safe." Cass assured. "What are you talking about?" Hikari asked then let out a yelp as Cass lifted her and flew back to the clear area the others waited. "There, that's one, I sense 15 more beings, does that sound right?" Cass asked. Iori mentally counted the five of them, six with Ken having an addition to his body then their four digimon. "Yes! Does that mean everyone is still alive?" Iori asked. Castiel nodded. "If there were 12 total humans each with a creature then yes, all are accounted for, I will continue my search and rescue." Cass said as he returned to the wreckage.

"Will someone tell me whats happening? Is everyone ok? How did Ken get wings?!" Hikari asked. "Oh well you see, how do we put this?" Daisuke started. "Ken got ahold of our world's version of his angel dad and is currently possessed by said angel." Takeru explained. "No way! I got saved by an actual Angel?" Hikari stared in amazement.

After several back and forth trips Cass returned with the last of the digidestined and digimon. He gently placed a dazed Miyako on the ground. As soon as everyone was safe and accounted for, Castiel was bombarded with questions. "Are you really from heaven?" Hikari questioned. "Can I touch your wings?" Mimi squealed. "Where is your halo?" Iori wondered. "So like is Ken aware what's going on? Or is he like unconscious in there?" Yamato inquired. "Aren't angel wings suppose to be white?" Sora repeating Ioris earlier question. "So how does creation and evolution line up on earth's timeline?" Koushiro asked. "What other cool powers do you have?" Daisuke asked.

Castiel couldn't help but be amused at the groups interest in him. I will gladly answer all your questions, though for now is there a safer place to reconvene? I think it's best we focus on stopping those monsters that did this. As well as find a way to get this boy back to his world." Castiel placed a hand on his borrowed chest. "If he is my son in another reality, there is no doubt my other self is turning over the world looking for him." The angel explained.

Ken managed to kick in the screen of the tv gate. That should send Daisuke to the next available gate and buy Ken some time. He looked over at the clear plains he was in. "I'll have to start over again…and without my dark digivice…great." He muttered. There was also the lack of equipment, he had done most of the coding from his computer. "Well first I need to get these damn cuffs off. Maybe then I can just compel the digimon without the rings."

He made his way over to a grouping of rocks. He picked one up and attempted to angle his arms to try and beat the chain against a larger rock. After a while of this he threw the rock in frustration and huffed. "Maybe I can find something to pick the lock again. Though the sparse clearing proved to not have anything adequate for the task.

"My aren't we in quite the predicament." A voice said behind him. He turned quickly to find a woman with long white hair, wearing red. Her eyes hidden by shades. "And you are?" He questioned. The woman smiled. "The best help you're going to get out here." Ken felt distrust, but the woman wasn't wrong. He held up his wrist. "Fine, think you can unlock these?" He asked. She smirked. "I can do better than that." She reached down and snapped the cuffs apart. Ken's eyes widened. "How did you have the strength to do that? And I've never seen an adult in the digital world before…you're not human, are you?" Ken more stated than asked. "Ah good observation. Yes I'm a digimon. You may call me Arukenimon." She pulled Ken to his feet. "Now then, I've helped you, how about you return the favor." She said. Ken narrowed his eyes. He could already feel his abilities returning, but he didn't kno what level digimon he was dealing with. Best to play it safe. "I suppose, though what could you possible need from a human?" He questioned.

Arukenimon let out a laugh. "A regular human? Nothing. Even a digidestined human would be useless. You however…you have a strong dark power about you. I sensed it the moment you arrived. It's one I haven't felt in years. I can use that power, as well as help you use it to its full potential." She explained. "Plus if those cuffs are any indication, you seem to be on the run. I think we could truly benefit from one another." She finished. Ken though over his options, he had no base, it was only a matter of time before the chosen came after him. He would have to work with this woman…digimon whatever…for now. Who knows this digimon could even have been sent as the world's way of compensating for his missing dark device. "Fine. I accept."

"Please stop that." Castiel said, exasperated as Daisuke poked at his feathers for the third time. "I can't help it. I've never seen angel wings before, well maybe Angemon, but I couldn't reach those." The boy whined. "Not to mention we wouldn't have let you." Takeru commented. "Though, would you mind if I just see a feather?" He asked. Castiel sighed, he fully understood Dean's need for personal space now.

The group made their way to a gate. They had decided to move to Koushiros place to go over this new threat. Once Miyako started working on the gate Koushiro stopped her. He turned to the Angel. "Um my mom's cool with digimon and all but um…" He gestured to Castiels wings. "I can return them to the ethereal plain. Though once back on earth they should cease to be visible anyway." He explained. "I may go and retrieve my vessel though and relinquish this one back to Ken." He continued. "But what if we need you back in the digital world again?" Daisuke asked. "Daisuke we can't just drag an Angel into our problems?" Hikari scolded. Cass shook his head. "I'll be glad to help you. After all it seems my alternate son is caught up in this as well. Though I would be required to possess a digidestined again to enter this world. Ken would be the safest choice as we now know he is strong enough to be a vessel." He said.

"OK so are we still meeting at Koushiro's?" Miyako asked, still adjusting the gate. "Um I mean I don't know about Castiel showing up to my family's in his vessel... that's an adult in a trench coat." Koushiro stated. The group laughed a bit at the thought. Castiel however seemed lost in thought or perhaps listening to someone. "Uh what's up Castiel? Oh is Ken talking to you?" Daisuke asked. "Yes. He is suggesting we meet in the bunker. If you don't mind. We would need to go on ahead to prepare my friends for your arrival. It also contains books that may help us solve Ken's multidimensional spell problem as well" He explained.

"Oh! A trip to America? What part? I could teach everyone about the culture!" Mimi said excited. "I certainly wouldn't mind a look at that Men of letters library Ken told us about." Koushiro mused. "I hear you got all kinds of cool weapons there!" Taichi exclaimed. "So…not Koushiro's? Well tell me where to direct this gate." Miyako said. Castiel stepped forward and kneeled by the TV he closed his eyes for a moment as he switched places with Ken. Ken blinked then got to work. "We left the laptop open in the bunker. We stopped by to safety store Castiel's vessel." He explained, causing everyone to jump. "Dude! Warn us when you switch! That was weird!" Yamato said at the change in persona. "Heh sorry. Anyway I'll go through and have Da…er Cass explain things to my unc…the Winchesters." Ken said, feeling a bit down suddenly. The men he was about to encounter were not the men he had come to know as family. He felt a rush of reassurance and love fill him. He smiled a bit. "Thanks dad." He whispered before entering the gate.

"What the hell has he done this time?" Dean shouted. "Come on Dean, it's Cass I'm sure he's fine. With Jack in charge we haven't had anything too crazy happening." Sam tried to reassure his brother. "The dude basically left his vessel with a note that said 'BRB' pinned to it." Dean gestured to the body on the bed.

"That note says far more than a few unrelated consonants." A young but deep voice said.

The boys whipped around to see Ken in front of the computer desk. Within seconds Dean had a gun pointed at the boy. "DEAN! THATS A CHILD!" Sam shouted trying to disarm his brother. "This kid came out of nowhere! No way he's human." Dean retorted.

A sigh came from Ken's mouth. "Dean, it's me." He said in a familiar low tone. "For Christ sake Cass?!" Dean exclaimed. "Why the hell are you a kid? Its…creepy." He continued. Cass sighed. "Its part of a very long explanation. In short, this boy and his friends need our help."

"A few final touches and we have a basic compound complete." Ken said running through the program he just completed with the laptop Arukenimon had procured for him. "Basic compound? All I see is a worn down door leading to a ruined building." The digimon complained. "I thought you said you've built a base in this world before." She said. Ken shot her a glare. "Of course I have and it was extraordinary. As is this, you are merely looking at the deception." Ken said as he motioned for Arukenimon to follow him. They moved through the doorway and down a stair case. Ken moved to open lift a small rusted iron panel to reveal a new keypad. He entered a code and the worn stone wall in front of them slide open to the real entrance to the base. "I learned from my former captives that an underground bunker is the best way to go for stealth." Ken explained as he lead the woman into a more hi-tech based center. New sleek metal walls and floors not too different from his old base. Monitors surrounded them, showing multiple views of the area. The two moved to a casual confrence room that had been installed. "I may have been to quick to judge. This definitely is far better than I expected." Arukenimon commented as she moved to take a seat at the table. Ken smirked. "Of course it is. Though I appreciate the admiration. It's refreshing compared to that weak little insect of a partner I have constantly trying to cease my conquest."

"Uh kids like lunch meat right?" Dean asked awkwardly as he rummaged through the fridge to find food to accommodate their guests. Whom they hoped were still seated at the map table where the boys left them. "Maybe? They are from Japan though, I think they eat healthier there." Sam said. "Guess that means all your food then haaah! Nah Imma go get some pizzas." Dean shut the fridge door. "Would have been nice to know these new friends of Cass consisted of 12 freaken kids." Dean complained. "Uh yeah and apparently they have monster …familiars? Or something like that, and those also eat a ton so um have fun with that order." Sam laughed. "What you ain't gonna help?" Dean complained. "Dude someone's gotta stay here. You wanna leave Cass in charge of a bunch of kids in the bunker?" Sam asked. "I saw one of them eyeing the swords." Dean gave a nervous chuckle. "Yeah bad idea, it'd be total chaos."

The brothers went into the war room to see some of the team at the table, while the rest were roaming about picking up objects here and there. "Hey guys I found a samurai sword!" Taichi shouted taking it from the stand and giving it a swing. "You look like a warrior Tai!" Agumon cheered. "Look at this cute little crystal ball" Mimi said, holding up a palm sized rose quartz sphere. "Guys! We are here to come up with strategies." "And for Ken to brief us on what he learned!" Jou and Iori shouted from the map table. "And we will but Jou look at all these books." Koushiro said as he leafed through one. "Despite the magical subject matter, some of these read like encyclopedias." "Do remember to focus on time magic, or alternate realities." Castiel said as he searched the shelves for something to aid his sort of son.

Sam gave Dean one of his bitch faces. "Yeah yeah. Definitely need supervision. " Dean mumbled. He paused looking down the hall. "Uh...is the blue haired kid Cass showed up with...giving a tour?!" Sam glanced that way and laughed. "Well Cass did say he's our kid in another timeline, guess being familiar with the bunker proves it."

Dean moved forward. "Alright munchkins get to the table and stop messing with shi...stuff." Dean shouted out. The group froze and looked at the gruff man. "It would be best if we listen to him." Ken stated and the group decided to scramble to the map table.

"All right now that we have your attention, some ground rules. Don't touch anything without permission. You could get cursed or worse and yes that includes books." Sam said giving a pointed look at Koushiro who was still reading. The boy sheepishly closed the tome and place it on the table. "On that note don't say anything out loud you read from the books, you may well summon something." Castiel added. The group nodded. "Don't enter rooms without supervision.

And Ken doesn't count as supervision, the bunker may not have the exact same layout as the one from his timeline. We don't know what rooms are safe and what rooms aren't." Sam instructed. "Alright so now, who wants what on their pizza?" Dean asked.
