A/N: A little Pokemon misadventure featuring some incesty OCs.

The morning sun bathed Saffron City in a golden glow, the streets buzzing with early activity. But today wasn't just any day—it was the day Rei and his twin sister, Aiko, would officially begin their Pokémon journey.

Rei adjusted his jacket, fingers resting on the Poké Ball clipped to his belt. Inside was his Kirlia, hatched from his mother's Gardevoir, already evolved and strong. Nearby, Aiko sat on the front steps of their home, her Natu perched on her shoulder, its small round body still as its sharp eyes scanned the world.

"You're way too calm for today," Rei teased through their telepathic link, nudging her with his foot.

Aiko smirked, brushing her silver hair back. Unlike Rei, who excelled at telekinesis, Aiko's strength was in precognition.

"I already knew everything would go smoothly," she responded playfully, "so why waste energy getting worked up?"

Rei rolled his eyes. She always did that—acting like she had everything figured out just because she could peek a little into the future.

Their mother, a former Saffron City Gym Trainer, stepped outside, arms crossed but eyes warm. Beside her, Gardevoir stood elegantly, watching them both with its usual serene presence.

"You have everything? Pokédex, Potions, extra clothes?" their mother asked.

"Yes, Mom," the twins said in unison.

She smiled, then pulled them into a hug. "Stay safe. Psychic powers or not, your wits and your Pokémon will be your greatest allies."

Rei grinned. "With my telekinesis, Aiko's visions, and our Pokémon, we'll dominate Kanto."

Aiko chuckled. "We'll at least make a name for ourselves."

Their mother nodded but hesitated, concern flickering in her eyes. Not everyone viewed psychics favorably—some feared them, some envied them, and some wanted to exploit them.

Still, she let them go. "Remember, Saffron will always be your home."

And with that, they were teleported to the outskirts of Pallet Town. They convinced their mom to let them start there since it's the semi-official starting point with it being where Professor Oak's lab is and the safest part of the region discounting cities. They stepped out onto Route 1, the first step of their journey ahead of them.

As they walked, Rei stretched his arms behind his head, enjoying the freedom. "So, are we doing the rival siblings thing or the traveling partners thing?"

Aiko smirked, flipping her long silver hair. "Oh, we're partners—but I'll still wipe the floor with you in battle."

Rei laughed. "We'll see about that."

Thanks to their telepathic connection, their battles were always intense—they could predict each other's moves before they even made them. Whether that would make them unstoppable or just lead to endless draws remained to be seen.

Suddenly, Aiko's Natu chirped sharply, its small body tensing. Aiko froze, her precognition activating.

"Something's coming."

"Wild Pokémon?"

Before Aiko could answer, the tall grass nearby rustled violently and out leaped a Zigzagoon. The little raccoon-like Pokémon skidded to a stop, its brown-and-cream fur bristling as it locked eyes with them. Its fur bristled, and it let out a growl, clearly not afraid despite being outnumbered.

Rei raised an eyebrow. "Well, not exactly a powerhouse." He glanced at Aiko. "You want this one, or should I take it?"

Aiko smirked, already stepping forward. "You sending Kirlia against that would be overkill." She adjusted the bag on her shoulder, glancing at Natu, who was already watching the Zigzagoon with unblinking focus. "I'll handle this."

Rei shrugged, stepping back with his arms crossed. "Your call."

The Zigzagoon let out a yipping growl.

Aiko's eyes sharpened. "Natu, you ready?"

Aiko's Natu hopped forward, tilting its head slightly as it observed the Zigzagoon. Though small, its sharp gaze missed nothing. Despite its small size, Natu wasn't just a bird with psychic abilities—it shared Aiko's precognition. And when they worked together, they could activate what they called "Battle-Cognition", allowing them to see their opponent's attack before it even happened.

Aiko could already feel the connection between them, her mind brushing against Natu's. It wasn't like talking to Rei—Pokémon didn't think in words. Instead, emotions, instincts, and impressions filled her senses.

"Ready," she sent through their telepathic link.

Natu's response was immediate, a mix of readiness and focus, as if it had already seen the battle's outcome before it even started.

The Zigzagoon didn't wait. It charged forward, kicking up dirt as it rushed toward them.

Aiko closed her eyes for a brief second, focusing. Natu's eyes glowed faintly, syncing their senses together. The moment their abilities connected, the world seemed to slow.

Zigzagoon growled, preparing to lunge—

Aiko's mind flickered with an image—a Tackle, a swipe to the left—

"Dodge right, then Peck!" she ordered, her voice sharp.

Before Zigzagoon even moved, Natu hopped right, avoiding an attack that hadn't even started yet. A fraction of a second later, the Zigzagoon lunged forward, slashing at the empty air where Natu used to be.

"Now!"

Natu struck with a sharp Peck to the side of its opponent's face, making the Normal-type grunt and stumble back.

The Zigzagoon recovered quickly, its eyes narrowing. It dug its claws into the dirt, its fur bristling more aggressively this time.

"Sand Attack," she realized.

"Jump and use Leer," Aiko ordered.

As the Zigzagoon kicked up a spray of sand, Natu flapped its wings and leaped above the cloud of dirt. From its vantage point, its eyes glowed red, sending a piercing Leer down at its opponent.

Zigzagoon flinched, its small body stiffening.

"Battle-Cognition is such bullshit," Rei commented from the side.

"What's bullshit is you having Kirlia even though we just started our journey. We wouldn't have been able to keep up with you without Battle-Cognition," Aiko complained but didn't take her eyes off the battle. "Natu, Peck again."

Natu dived in an instant, striking the wild Pokémon on the head before hopping backward. Zigzagoon yelped and staggered, shaking its head furiously. Its movements were slowing—it wasn't down yet, but Aiko could feel the moment of hesitation lingering in the air.

"One more hit should do it. Natu, Teleport—behind it!"

Zigzagoon shot forward in a brown blur—but Natu was gone before it could land a hit. A split second later, the psychic-type reappeared behind Zigzagoon, catching the wild Pokémon off guard.

"Now, use Stored Power!"

Natu dove forward, striking Zigzagoon's back with psychic energy. The normal-type let out a sharp cry and stumbled, its legs wobbling as it struggled to keep its footing. But instead of staying down, the Zigzagoon gave them one last wary look before turning tail and bolting back into the tall grass.

Aiko exhaled, lowering her stance as she relaxed her connection with Natu's precognition. "It ran."

Rei shrugged. "Most wild Pokémon do when they know they can't win. Not like they can just walk into a PokéCenter and heal up."

Aiko nodded, wiping a bit of sweat from her brow. Wild Pokémon weren't stupid—they didn't fight to the last breath unless they had something worth protecting. She glanced around, scanning the area.

"There's something nearby. That Zigzagoon wasn't just aggressive for no reason."

She turned toward where the wild Pokémon had stood its ground and noticed a berry bush nestled between the tall grass. Aiko approached cautiously, brushing aside some of the leaves.

"Figures," Rei smirked, stepping up beside her. "It was protecting this."

Clusters of Sitrus Berries hung from the branches, their golden-yellow color contrasting against the deep green leaves. The Zigzagoon had been fighting them off because it didn't want them getting close to its food source.

Rei reached up and plucked two of the ripe berries, examining them before slipping them into his bag. "We might as well take a couple. Sitrus Berries are basically free potions."

Aiko nodded, stepping back as she watched the remaining berries swaying lightly in the breeze. "I hope Zigzagoon comes back for the rest. It fought hard for them."

Rei slung his bag over his shoulder. "It will. Wild Pokémon know how to survive."

With that, the twins continued their journey down Route 1, the first real taste of their adventure behind them.

As night fell over Route 1, the twins found a small clearing just off the path and decided to set up camp. The cool air carried the distant hoots of Hoothoot and the rustling of nocturnal Pokémon moving through the tall grass. The sun hung low over the horizon, casting a soft glow over the landscape.

Aiko stretched her arms above her head, rolling her shoulders. "We should set up camp here," she said, glancing around. "We've been walking all day."

Rei nodded, but instead of reaching for his gear manually, he simply closed his eyes and focused.

With a flicker of psychic energy, their tent lifted from his bag, unfolding itself mid-air before snapping into place perfectly on a flat patch of dirt. Their sleeping bags floated into the tent, unrolling neatly, and the cooking gear arranged itself in an orderly fashion beside the fire pit.

In less than a minute, their entire campsite was ready.

"Show-off."

Rei shrugged, sitting cross-legged by the fire. "Might as well use what I have."

Aiko sat on a nearby rock, arms crossed as she watched the whole process with an amused smirk. "I'll never get used to how damn convenient that is."

Rei stretched his arms above his head, not even breaking a sweat. "Yeah, yeah. One minute setup beats doing it the old-fashioned way." He glanced at her with a grin. "Unless you'd rather do it by hand next time?"

Aiko scoffed. "Please. I'd rather let you flex your powers while I relax."

Natu fluttered onto her shoulder, ruffling its feathers before tucking its head under its wing. Kirlia, meanwhile, stood beside Rei, its crimson eyes scanning the surroundings with quiet focus.

"No wild Pokémon nearby, Kirlia?" Rei asked through their psychic link.

The impression he got in return was a vague sense of calm vigilance—no immediate threats, but always aware.

"Tomorrow, we keep heading north," Aiko mused, watching the flames. "We should reach Vermilion City in a couple of days."

Rei nodded, plucking a Sitrus Berry from his bag and tossing it between his hands. "Think we'll run into any real trouble before then?"

Aiko's Natu let out a soft chirp, its feathers ruffling slightly. Aiko's expression grew distant for a moment as she let a flicker of precognition wash over her.

"Nothing too dangerous," she finally said. "But something's coming. Something interesting."

Rei grinned. "Good. Wouldn't want this trip to be boring."

With that, the two siblings settled in, the fire crackling softly as their Pokémon relaxed beside them. The first day of their journey was over. What awaited them next, only time—and Aiko's visions—would tell.

The fire had burned down to soft embers, casting flickering shadows across the clearing. The night was quiet, save for the occasional rustling in the grass and the distant hoot of a Hoothoot. Natu and Kirlia were curled up together near the remnants of the fire, their small forms rising and falling in steady rhythm with their breathing.

Rei lay on his back, arms folded behind his head, staring up at the sky. The stars were sharp and clear, stretching endlessly above them. Aiko sat cross-legged beside him, her silver hair catching the firelight as she absentmindedly traced circles in the dirt.

"You're thinking too loudly," she murmured.

Rei smirked. "You're always listening."

Aiko shrugged. "Not my fault you don't know how to shut up."

There was no bite in her words, only amusement. Ever since they were kids, their minds had been intertwined—no walls, no privacy, no hidden thoughts. Rei had long since abandoned the idea of keeping secrets from her because it was impossible. Aiko knew everything about him. His past life, his memories, his thoughts, his desires.

Silence settled between them, but it wasn't awkward. Just the kind of quiet that came from knowing someone so well that words weren't necessary. Aiko's fingers drummed against her knee, her own mind brushing against his—a teasing, lingering presence.

"You know," she mused, her voice barely above a whisper, "if we were normal, we'd probably be keeping secrets from each other. There'd be things I wasn't supposed to know. Things you'd be embarrassed about." She smirked slightly. "But instead, I've had to deal with all of your perverted bullshit since I was, what, five?"

"You're complaining about it now?" Rei laughs.

Aiko didn't laugh. She just watched him with that knowing look, the one that always made him pause. It wasn't judgment—it never had been. If anything, she liked him the way he was. She had never wished for him to be different, never flinched away from the thoughts that most would have condemned him for.

"No," she said, voice steady. "I like you the way you are."

Rei faltered for just a second. Rei had always known she didn't have the same boundaries as other people, not with him. How could she, when they had never been separated? There was no point in her being disgusted, no reason for her to pretend she was above it all. Aiko had grown up inside his head and felt the weight of his desires as naturally as she felt her own heartbeat. It wasn't just something she tolerated.

It was something she had embraced.

"You don't have to say it like that," Rei muttered, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Like what?" she smirked, tilting her head.

"Like you—" He stopped himself.

Aiko shifted, and before Rei could finish his sentence, she swung a leg over him, settling onto his lap. It wasn't the first time she'd done this—there had been other nights, other moments when the closeness between them blurred the line between teasing and something more. Yet each time, it sent a tiny shock through Rei's system, a quickened pulse that made the air feel heavier.

Aiko's silver hair fell over her shoulders as she leaned in, her gaze fixed on him.

"You always stop right before it gets good," she murmured, her tone almost playful.

Rei let out a shaky breath, swallowing hard. "I just—"

"Overthink?" she supplied, finishing his thought the way she always did.

Aiko braced her hands against his chest, her head tilted in that feline way that always made Rei's heart pound. "You still don't trust me?" she asked quietly, her voice low.

Rei managed a short laugh. "You know I trust you more than anyone else in the world."

Her golden eyes flickered in the dim firelight. "Then trust me enough to not run away from… this."

There it was again—that unspoken thing they both circled around. They weren't kids playing around with an innocent crush; they were two people who knew each other's thoughts better than their own. A bond so close that the usual boundaries of relationships didn't quite apply.

Rei looked up at Aiko, trying—and failing—to mask the raw rush of desire that pulsed through him. He felt her sense it, felt her react to it, and for a moment, the air between them crackled with shared sensation.

"Sometimes," he began, voice barely above a whisper, "I don't know if these feelings are mine alone, or if I'm picking up on yours, too."

Aiko smirked, sliding her hands up to his shoulders. "Rei, we've never really been separate. That's just how it is. My thoughts, your thoughts… does it matter?"

Without a word, Aiko leaned down, her forehead nearly touching his. The only sound was the soft crackle of dying embers and the quiet breaths of their sleeping Pokémon a few feet away.

Rei found himself reaching up, his hand sliding around her waist. Aiko's pulse thrummed beneath his fingertips—he could feel it, and he could sense it through their mental link, a subtle harmony of physical and psychic awareness.

Neither of them spoke. They didn't need to.

Then Aiko closed the gap.

Her lips pressed against Rei's, and that electric pulse turned into a wave of heat that rippled between them. It wasn't hesitant, wasn't testing the waters. It was a kiss that knew. A kiss that came from years of shared thoughts, of feeling each other's emotions as intimately as their own. There was no second-guessing, no doubt. Aiko knew exactly what she wanted, and she knew Rei wanted it too.

Rei's fingers curled around her waist, pulling her closer as the kiss deepened. His mind blurred, not from the psychic link but from her—the way she tasted, the way she felt straddling him, her body flush against his.

Aiko let out a soft hum against his lips, one of amusement, and satisfaction—she had known this would happen. Of course, she had. She always knew.

Rei pulled back just slightly, just enough to breathe, his forehead still resting against hers. His heart pounded so hard he could feel the rhythm through their link.

"You—" he started, but Aiko silenced him with another kiss.

'I know.' Her voice echoed in his mind, smooth, certain.

She pulled back with a grin, "And you can't talk your way out of it this time. There is no mom to walk in on us, no Gardevoir to stop us, no one to tell us how wrong this is. Just you and me, here and now."

Rei swallowed, his breath uneven as he stared up at her. She was right. There was nothing stopping them. No interruptions, no excuses, no outside forces keeping them apart. Just the two of them under the stars, their psychic bond crackling with unspoken tension.

And Aiko knew exactly what that meant.

She pressed her hands against his chest, leaning in just enough to make his pulse spike again. "So, Rei," she murmured, tilting her head slightly, "what are you gonna do?"

Rei smirked, his hesitation burning away under the weight of her words. His hands tightened around her waist, fingers pressing into the curve of her hips as he met her gaze head-on.

"I guess I'll make my fantasy a reality."

Before Aiko could respond, he moved.

With a swift shift of his weight, Rei flipped them over, pinning her beneath him. The soft ground pressed against her back as he settled above her, his hands bracing against the dirt on either side of her head.

Aiko's grin widened, her silver hair fanning out beneath her. "Finally."

The firelight flickered against her skin, highlighting the amusement in her golden eyes, the sharp edge of anticipation curling in the corners of her smirk. She had always known this was coming—always known he wouldn't resist her forever.

And now, neither of them wanted to.

Rei's grip on Aiko's hips tightened as they kissed, the tension between them snapping like a live wire. Their mouths parted only for a moment—just enough to gasp in a breath—before reconnecting with renewed urgency.

Aiko slid her hands up his chest, fingers curling into the fabric of his shirt. She could feel his heartbeat pounding beneath her palms as she pushed him back enough to yank the shirt over his head. Her eyes flicked down, catching a glimpse of his bare skin in the dim light before he tugged her against him once more.

His kiss traveled along her jaw, down her neck, leaving a trail of warm, tingling sensation in its wake. She let out a soft, involuntary moan when his hand slipped beneath her top and grabbed her chest.

She arched her back, pressing closer to him. This was what they had been dancing around for so long: raw, unfiltered desire with no boundary left uncrossed. She felt his cock pressing against her thigh through their clothing, the proof of just how much he wanted her. He didn't bother hiding it—he couldn't have if he tried. Their psychic link kept nothing concealed.

Aiko tugged at his waistband, impatience making her fingers fumble. Rei choked out a soft laugh at her urgency, but it died quickly when she finally managed to free him from the confines of his pants. She let her hand slide over him, the firm heat of his cock sending a shudder of pleasure racing through both their minds.

They had shared so many thoughts, so many memories, yet this felt new. Something neither had fully experienced before—taking a fantasy and making it real.

Rei's breath caught, and he pressed a desperate kiss to her lips. Aiko tasted his hunger, tasted the flood of relief that came with finally letting go. She pushed at the waistband of her own clothes, wriggling out of them as best she could until he helped, mutual clumsiness giving way to laughter and gasps as the last barriers vanished.

Their bodies finally pressed together—skin to skin, no more layers between them. Rei's hands slid up to cup Aiko's boobs, his thumbs brushing over sensitive peaks, making her arch beneath him. A low moan slipped from her throat, and she answered the heat in his eyes with a smirk of her own.

"Been waiting for this?" He teased, voice husky.

Rkia let out a shaky laugh. "You know I have."

His mouth returned to hers with renewed urgency, kissing her hard enough to tangle their breath. Their minds still touched at the edges—neither of them fully able, or willing, to shut off that mental link that let them sense every flicker of excitement.

Aiko's fingers moved down, tracing the lines of Rei's abdomen before curling around his cock again. She stroked him slowly, savoring every groan and every shift in his breathing.

"Fuck," Rei muttered, his voice a strained whisper. He leaned down, pressing hot, open-mouthed kisses along her neck and collarbone, tasting salt and skin.

His palms moved lower, gliding over her waist and hips in a possessive sweep until he slipped a hand between her thighs. Aiko bit back a gasp, her mind seizing on the sensation as he caressed her pussy, her body already slick with anticipation. She arched into his touch, wordlessly urging him on. Through their link, the wave of shared arousal swelled, doubling back on itself until it was hard to tell who was fueling whom.

"Don't hold back," she whispered, tilting her head so her lips brushed against his ear. She guided his cock to her entrance.

"Wasn't planning on it."

In a slow, deliberate motion, Rei pushed forward. The moment his cock slid inside, an electric jolt of sensation spiked through both of them, amplified by their psychic bond. Aiko's nails raked across his back, a startled moan escaping her lips.

Rei's breathing turned ragged as he began to move—steady at first, then more urgently as their bodies found a rhythm. Every thrust sent sparks dancing behind Aiko's eyes, a delirious tangle of pleasure that echoed and magnified each time it bounced from one mind to the other.

Their ragged gasps filled the air, mingling with the crackle of the dying fire. Aiko clung to Rei's shoulders, hips lifting in time with his, each roll meeting him halfway. The familiar press of their psychic connection pulsed with every heartbeat, every cry. It was a loop of sensation—he felt her pleasure, which fed back into him, which then surged into her again.

"Harder," she breathed, her voice wavering with urgency.

Rei obliged, burying his dick deeper in her wanting pussy with each thrust. The friction, the heat—it all built into a throbbing crescendo, a tidal wave they both knew was barreling toward its peak. Aiko's body tensed, an intense coil of sensation winding tight in her core.

The moment it finally unraveled, it took her breath away. She came with a sharp cry, her thoughts flooding Rei's mind with a burst of blinding euphoria. The sudden surge of pleasure proved too much for him to hold back. With a shuddering groan, he followed her over the edge, hips jerking forward. He released inside her, his cock twitching as he filled her with thick spurts of cum.

Neither moved, their bodies still tingling as the sensation ebbed, leaving behind a tangle of spent euphoria that felt almost painful in its intensity. Everything was bathed in a hazy glow—breathless, satiated, and connected.

Eventually, Rei shifted his weight to keep from crushing Aiko, but he didn't pull away completely. He pressed a lazy kiss to her shoulder, still feeling the hum of her heartbeat beneath his lips.

Aiko opened her eyes, meeting his gaze. Her cheeks were flushed, her silver hair fanned out around her, and she wore a contented, almost mischievous grin.

"Don't think you're done," she teased, voice low. "I've waited too long to just stop now."

She pushed him to the side and sat upright, sliding a leg over his hips. Her hair was mussed, her cheeks still flushed, and there was an unmistakable gleam in her golden eyes.

"I want all of you," she whispered in a low, sultry tone.

Rei felt a surge of anticipation in his gut as she leaned in, pressing a slow, demanding kiss to his mouth. She tasted of sweat and leftover hunger, the promise of more. When she pulled back, she grasped his cock, guiding it toward her entrance again.

Aiko started to move, rocking her hips in a slow, deliberate rhythm. Each time she pressed down, the sensation flooded her system and ricocheted back into Rei. In return, he lifted his hips, meeting her movements with a powerful thrust that drove a cry from her lips. Their minds looped the pleasure in an ever-growing cycle, each wave feeding the next.

Rei's hands slid up to cup Aiko's boobs, his thumbs brushing over her nipples until she hissed out his name. She leaned in, setting her palms on his chest for balance as she found a faster pace. The slap of their bodies meeting echoed in the clearing, and the rise of mutual pleasure buzzed along every nerve.

They switched positions more than once—Aiko on her back, legs wrapped around Rei's waist, then again with her perched on top, her silver hair falling around her flushed face. In each shift, they discovered a new angle, a new spark of sensation.

As the night wore on, they lost track of how many times the pleasure peaked and receded, only to come crashing back with greater force. Finally, after what felt like hours of tangled limbs and breathless gasps, they reached one last crest. Aiko clutched at Rei's shoulders, her entire body going taut as she felt the rush of release hit in a bright, searing wave. Rei followed an instant later, groaning against her neck as he spilled over into the same blinding bliss.

They collapsed together in a panting heap, skin damp with sweat and hearts pounding in shared afterglow. Aiko rested her forehead against Rei's, silver hair a mess around them. Even now, the echo of their pleasure vibrated through the psychic link, a warm hum in the back of their minds.

"I think I've had enough," she murmured, voice barely above a whisper.

Rei managed a short laugh, his fingers caressing the smooth skin of her waist. The afterglow pulsed like a slow-building tide, their senses still entangled as they relished in the shared sensation of sated euphoria.

Aiko let out a deep, satisfied sigh, draping herself lazily over Rei's chest, her silver hair sticking to his skin. Rei ran a tired hand down her back, his fingers tracing light, absentminded patterns against her skin. His breathing was slowing, the adrenaline fading, replaced by a deep, bone-deep fatigue that he knew Aiko felt too.

Aiko shifted slightly, nuzzling into the crook of his neck. "Tired?" she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper.

Rei chuckled softly, his grip on her waist tightening for just a moment before loosening again. "Completely," he admitted, feeling his limbs grow heavier by the second.

Aiko giggled, "Yeah, let's go to sleep."

Aiko exhaled slowly, the rise and fall of her chest growing steady against him. The quiet sounds of the wild surrounded them—the distant chirp of nocturnal Pokémon, the rustling of leaves in the gentle night breeze. Somewhere nearby, Natu and Kirlia still slept undisturbed, their forms barely shifting as they lay curled up near the fire pit.

Rei felt Aiko's breathing slow even further, her body growing completely relaxed against his. She had tired herself out, finally, after pushing them both past every limit they had.

He let his eyes drift shut, one last thought passing between their minds before sleep claimed them.

'I look forward to a hundred more nights like this.'

'Me too.'

And with that, the night faded into peaceful silence, the two of them tangled together in the warmth of their shared exhaustion.

"Get up already, you lazy bum."

Rei rolled over, groaning as the bright sunlight poured through the tent's entrance. His muscles ached in the best way possible, a deep soreness lingering from the night before. He cracked one eye open, only to be immediately assaulted by the golden morning light. He shut it again with a grunt.

Natu fluttered onto Aiko's shoulder, chirping cheerfully. The little Psychic-type tilted its head, watching as Aiko smirked down at Rei, arms crossed, already dressed and looking far too smug for this early in the morning.

"You're way too awake for someone who kept me up all night," Rei muttered.

Aiko grinned, crouching beside him. "You kept up just fine," she teased, her fingers brushing over his bare chest. "But now it's time to move. Unless you wanna stay here all day and let Kirlia and Natu judge you."

At the mention of his Pokémon, Rei finally forced himself to sit up. Sure enough, Kirlia stood near the edge of the tent, watching them with its usual unreadable expression.

But Rei knew better.

Just like Aiko shared a deep connection with Natu, Rei had something just as intimate with Kirlia. Their telepathic bond was strong enough that he could understand her without the need for words. She was the Emotion Pokémon. And right now, her emotions were very clear.

Disapproval mixed with approval, mild amusement, and exasperation.

Rei sighed, rubbing a hand down his face. "Yes, I know."

You two were insatiable. All night?

Rei flinched. 'Oh, Arceus.'

Aiko, who had just finished tying up her boots, turned to glance at him, raising an eyebrow. "What's with that face?"

Rei groaned, dragging his hands through his hair. "Kirlia knows."

Aiko smirked. "Obviously. She's a Psychic-type, Rei. What, did you think she'd just conveniently not notice?"

Kirlia crossed her arms and sent another wave of thoughts through their bond, this time laced with a heavy dose of exasperation.

'I didn't just notice. I felt it.'

Rei choked.

Aiko outright laughed. While she don't know the exact thing Kirlia was saying, she can roughly guess through telepathy.

"Oh, that's rich. Your poor Kirlia had to sit there all night while we—"

Rei lunged forward and clamped a hand over her mouth. "Do not finish that sentence."

Kirlia huffed, turning away and shaking her head as if to clear away the 'mental damage' they had inflicted on her. 'Warn me next time.'

Rei groaned, feeling the secondhand embarrassment spike through him like a dagger. "You were supposed to be sleeping."

Kirlia sent back a flat stare. 'I'm known as the Emotion Pokémon for a reason, Rei. I felt everything.

Aiko, having successfully pried Rei's hand off her mouth, grinned. "Oh, this is too good. She got the full experience, huh?"

Kirlia gave a small, knowing nod.

Aiko leaned in close, her breath warm against his ear as she whispered, "Guess you better get used to an audience, huh? Natu too, saw it before it even happened."

Rei groaned. "I hate you."

Aiko only smirked, standing up and stretching lazily. "C'mon, lazy bum. We've got a journey to continue."

Kirlia nodded along with Aiko's words and flicked her hand at him in a way that sent the impression of 'hurry up' through their bond.

Rei sighed and stood up, grabbing his clothes. "This is gonna be a long day."

As they journeyed along Route 1, Rei and Aiko battled their way through the wild Pokémon, training their team against the likes of Rattata, Pidgey, and Sentret. The experience was valuable, sharpening their skills and syncing their psychic links with their Pokémon even further. But despite the variety, neither of them found a Pokémon they truly wanted to add to their team.

"This is getting repetitive," Rei muttered, wiping some sweat from his brow as he watched Kirlia send a Pidgey tumbling back with a well-placed Confusion.

Aiko stretched, hands resting behind her head. "Yeah, nothing's really standing out. Guess we're picky."

They continued walking until the trees opened up into a clearing by a shimmering lake. The water reflected the midday sun in dazzling ripples, and the air was cool, carrying the scent of damp earth and fresh grass. It was a perfect spot for a break.

But they weren't alone.

Standing near the lake's edge was her—a young woman with long brown hair, a soft smile, and a Bulbasaur at her feet.

Rei froze mid-step.

Aiko immediately noticed.

She turned to him, her golden eyes glinting with amusement. 'Oh. This was too good.'

"Wow," she said, voice dripping with faux innocence. "You look stunned, Rei. What's wrong?"

Rei shook his head quickly, clearing his throat. "Nothing. Just—Green. That's… that's Green."

Aiko smirked. "Oh, I know who she is." She leaned in, voice dropping into a teasing whisper. "I also know about all the art and "art" you had of her back in your past life."

Rei winced. "Aiko—"

She grinned like a Persian that had cornered its prey. "All those pictures, those comics, those… videos,*" Aiko continued, eyes sparkling with mischief. "And now here she is, in the flesh. What's wrong? Feeling a little starstruck? Should I introduce you? Maybe tell her what a huge fan you were?"

Rei rubbed his temples. "I hate you."

"I love you too," She grinned.

Rei was going to die. Right here, right now. His cause of death? Aiko's endless torment.

Before Rei could get another word in, Green finally noticed them. She stretched lazily against the tree, her sharp green eyes locking onto them.

"Hello there," she called out casually.

Rei took a deep breath, trying to shove all the inappropriate memories out of his head.
