A/N: I'm actually updating this one. Sorry for the delay. This is a little short though. I don't own any of the characters except my own.
About a month later, everyone was back to work and on full duty. The ladies had had their night out at the bowling alley for bowling and pizza a few times. Olivia had been wanting have a competition with Hank's unit, including Trudy and that also included Alex and Casey. Erin agreed. Hank and his unit accepted the challenge. No couples would be on the same team and Olivia had both Erin and Justin on her team. Olive, Alyssa, Trevor, PJ and Meredith were there to support their spouses and Rita and Pauline were watching all the kids at Trevor and Lisa's.
"We're gonna kick your butts, SVU."
"Don't be so sure of yourself, Adam. I know how good my teammates are. When was the last time you bowled?"
"It wasn't all that long ago."
"Yeah, right."
"Ok, maybe it's been a while."
"We're doomed!"
"Shut up, Jay!"
All Kim and Erin could do was shake their heads and roll their eyes.
"Funny thing, I don't remember Dad bein' that much into bowling."
"I didn't think he was either."
"Shhhhh."
"I know how good Mom is."
"That's what Olive said."
"We got this!"
"Oh yeah! Dad is goin' down!"
"You wanna make a wager on this?"
"Why? Do you honestly think you'll win? You just pretty much admitted that you're not that much into bowling."
"It's not like I've never bowled before."
"You won't win."
"You seem pretty sure of yourself."
"Don't start. Fine. If I win, you have to make me breakfast in bed for a month starting tomorrow. If you win…oh, wait…never mind."
"You're a pain in the ass!"
"Thank you."
They started bowling and both teams were doing pretty well. By the last frame, Olivia's team had a slight lead and she and Hank were the last two to bowl.
"Mom, you got this!"
"Liv, you got this!"
Olivia got her ball and took a deep breath as she looked at the pins. She stepped up to the line and released the ball. She ended up getting only a couple pins. She had her second turn but she was off there too.
"Damn it!"
"That's ok, Liv."
Hank took his turn and he only got a few pins.
"Come on, Boss! You got this!"
"Let's do this, Hank!"
Olivia knew that if Hank got a spare, Intelligence would win. Hank release the ball and it rolled down the lane. He got all but one pin, so they ended in a tie.
"Man, one damn pin! We had this game!"
Kim smacked Adam in the head, while Al, Jay, Kevin and Antonio all shook their heads at Adam.
"What exactly did you do to help us out, Mr. Gutterball?"
"Ok, so I suck at bowling."
Hank went over to Olivia and hugged her.
"I'll still make you breakfast in bed for a month even though we tied."
"And I'll do whatever you want too."
"I haven't really thought about that yet. Right now all I wanna do it get you home and make love to you."
"I love the way you think! Justin, Erin, bring the kids home for us. Please. Thanks. Goodnight, everyone."
"Goodnight."
Hank and Olivia changed their shoes, got their stuff and then they headed home. As soon as they arrived at home, they went up to the bedroom and started kissing. Hank locked the door and then they undressed each other. They got on the bed, continued kissing and made love. Afterwards they were wrapped in the covers and were all out of breath.
"That was some workout!"
"Yeah, it was. We've both been workin' a lot lately."
"Yeah, we have. You missed that last frame on purpose, didn't you?"
"I have no idea what you're talkin' about."
"I love you. You know that, right?"
"Yeah, I know. I love you too. Maybe we can do this again for a date night and leave everyone else at home."
"Including Ruzek?"
"Especially Ruzek."
"Sounds like a plan to me."
Hank and Olivia started kissing and made love again. A little while later, Erin, Jay, Olive and Justin got home with the 5 kids and everyone but Noah was asleep. Olive and Justin to Daniel and Camille downstairs and Erin and Jay took Lexie and Nadia upstairs. Noah followed and went into the bathroom before he went into his room. Once Erin put Lexie down, she went to tuck Noah in and he ended up falling right to sleep. Erin, Jay, Olive and Justin met in the kitchen for ice cream.
"They're here because both vehicles are in the garage."
"They're in their bedroom. I heard Mom."
Justin shook his head.
"They've both been workin' a lot lately."
"True. We all have."
"Tell me about it. I'm the one who's been with the kids."
"And we appreciate that. Was it just me or was Ruzek more immature than usual?"
"Yeah, he was but then again, that's nothing new."
"Kim said he has a lot of growing up to do before they have a baby."
"I don't blame her for feeling that way."
"Me neither."
"Becomin' a dad helped me grow up."
"That game could have gone either way."
"It could have. Mom felt so bad that she blew her last frame."
"Do you think Hank did that on purpose?"
"Honestly, I don't know. Even if he did, it just shows how much he loves her."
"Definitely."
"I'm not even sure he had any idea as to what he wanted her to do if he had won."
"Hard to say with him."
"Even though they've only been married a year longer than we have, they're still my parents and I hope Jay and I are still as happy and in love as they are when we're their age."
"Us too."
"Maybe we should go out for breakfast and take the kids to the Zoo, so Mom and Dad can have some time to themselves."
"That's not a bad idea. Brookfield?"
"That sounds like a plan to me."
"Me too."
Everyone finished their ice cream and then they all said goodnight. Justin and Olive went downstairs and got ready for bed, while Jay and Erin went upstairs to do the same thing. Hank and Olivia had fallen asleep. During the night, Camille and Nadia had woken up, so Justin and Jay got up with them and were in the family room talking, while their daughters ate. Once the girls were done, they went back to bed.
To be continued…
