I certainly have no rights to Harry Potter, but this won't stop me writing this story. However, you probably already know this. As it is my specialty, and as in my other big stories, this shows how things go if something went different right at the beginning. Please note that I'm not a fan of bashing and also don't expect the two main pairings to differ from canon. However, the path to them certainly will be quite different. I also want to try and subvert certain plots and things that became common in the fandom over the years.

Please note that due to the constant technical troubles of the site, the story is now also being published at AO3. With this final chapter, the story is now complete. However, I at the very end, after the Credits, will announce my NEXT project.

I'll try to answer all my reviews, since I do like the feedback for improvement. So please tell me your thoughts on the story in reviews. I would appreciate it. The more feedback I get, the more I can improve on writing future stories.

Now that the story is done, I do have a special PDF-version of the story which I send to readers on request. That one has, besides the fact you can forever have it, superior formatting and bonus content.

This story does have a TvTropes page. You can find the link in my bio. Feel free to visit and contribute to it.

Chapter 90: Hogwarts Beyond

...Hogwarts, late June 2007...

The world could change a lot in a bit over nine years, and it most certainly did.

It was not to say that it was an easy change however. After the war had ended in 1998, the fresh wounds from it as well as the fact that the world now had to deal with magic being out in the open meant that unstable times did follow first. After all, there was no way things could go to business as usual after such a massive and life-changing revelation.

Even more so since that went for the entire world. After the confusion at the start, things had become increasingly difficult and in some regions of the world outright violent.

It was little wonder that in countries that were dictatorial and didn't tolerate any dissent, the whole situation had turned from bad to worse. China, Russia and Saudi-Arabia were some of the more extreme examples. Not to speak of certain countries in the Middle East and Africa, where the realization that real wizards and witches were among them caused very nasty stuff.

It also wasn't one-sided, either. There were several magical communities all over the world that felt with the statute gone, they could do as they pleased and had a mindset that made Voldemort look downright progressive. All in all a huge mess which the world still was going through.

While it would be terribly naive to claim that everything was alright now - there after all still were massive upheavals all over the world due to the drastic change - compared to previous years things had begun to slowly settle down in certain parts of the world. It was mostly those countries which had already prepared for such a case and those close to them.

There however also was a human component to that. People after all could only take a constant state of emergency for so long before getting tired and wanting to have some stability in their lives and things they could hold onto. A new status quo would be found, in some regions of the world faster than in others.

Those years had been very eventful, but that was not exactly on the mind of the people arriving to witness the graduation ceremony at Hogwarts.

"You know, it feels a bit weird to be here when our own school days here have been almost a decade ago," Ginny remarked to her husband while shifting a bit to be more comfortable with her pregnant belly.

"You are not alone, but there also is a bit of a disconnect, considering how much things have changed around here," Harry agreed with his wife, looking around.

Hogwarts seemed to look the same like it had done during their own school years, and yet the castle had subtle changes on it which became obvious if one looked closer. That it wasn't more obvious was due to the wish to keep the aesthetics as close to that of a medieval castle as it was possible. The same however could not be said about Hogsmeade.

Due to the village having been razed to the ground during the war, when it was rebuilt the influence of the new time they were in was undeniable to the naked eye. While the rebuilding had attempted to preserve the spirit of the old Hogsmeade, progress basically had sneaked into every single building. Not to speak of the power lines leading to the village as well as the cell phone tower just outside of it and several cars parked at the edge of the village.

Some would say that a lot of the magic of places like Hogsmeade was being lost with those changes and that the mundane was seeping in. However, considering that a lot of said 'magic' resulted from the strict isolation from the outside world, many in the younger generations gladly accepted these changes or even welcomed them. The world had changed and you couldn't turn back the clock now.

"The world sure has changed a lot ever since the end of the war, if you think about it. I mean, your father after all became rich with his patents, something that would have been impossible before," Harry remarked.

Ginny snorted. "I remember how many people saw Dad with his love for technology as an eccentric loon they only laughed at. Ha, those people no longer laugh now! Not after he all on his own made the Weasleys respected again."

Ginny was really proud of her father, and that rightfully so. Arthur Weasley had seen a chance after the war and refined the enchantment on his old Ford Anglia, concentrating it onto several parts that could be installed into any car after proper enchantment and documenting exactly what he had done, before applying to patent the process with which one could upgrade a normal car into a flying one.

It had taken a bit, but nowadays cars that also had a flight mode built in were becoming increasingly common. Of course the government had quickly enacted new laws to ensure there would be no anarchy in the skies, but such was needed with any kind of progress. It most certainly made the Weasley family rich and respected.

Actually ironic how we Weasleys are rich now, while those arrogant and bigoted pure-blood families - at least those that survived - have fallen into poverty. A delicious justice, Ginny thought with satisfaction.

"Mum, Dad...?" a young voice asked. "I'm bored."

They looked down to their three-year old son Keir. He was their whole pride but also had caught on that he soon enough would have to share his parents - and that went double, since Ginny was pregnant with twins, a boy and a girl (yes, they got impatient and wanted to learn early). Ginny already hinted that three children was enough for the time being and that they would have to invest into protection.

She said she doesn't want to be like her mother in that regard. Though, she hints she could change her mind in the future, Harry thought.

Thing was, Harry and Ginny were open books to each other emotionally thanks to the bond between them, and thus it was an open secret that despite what they said, both of them wanted a big family. Though, of course they had to approach that realistically. After the birth of the twins, they would have their hands full, so better wait several years.

"I know, Keir, you feel bored," Ginny told their son. "But it won't be too long now."

"Oh, all right." Like any three-year old, Keir Potter was easily bored and all the waiting was getting to the young boy. He hoever trusted his mother and thus tried to busy himself with the toy he was holding.

Harry and Ginny had to admit that their personal lives had most certainly become less exciting, but after the sheer insanity of their teenage years, they honestly now enjoyed a life that was a bit mundane.

They were both now happily married, one son already being there and two more children being on the way. Granted, Harry's fortune alone meant there was no need for them to actually work, but the mere idea of not having regular work already made them feel the sheer boredom. Though plans of course had changed quite a bit.

Harry for his part was working for the government. Wizards working in law enforcement were in high demand after all the changes the country had went through. Ginny meanwhile, as she had expected, could not go into a sports career due to professional Quidditch having been heavily disrupted for multiple years. In the end she had made the best of it and became a teacher - but for physical education. Funny enough, she also was a certified broom riding instructor additionally to being the terror of all hobbyist Quidditch games.

Seeing that their son was busy for now, Ginny looked to her husband. "You think this will be as exciting as Mark's graduation ceremony?" she then wondered.

"Well, I hope so - and I bet so do Steve and Kathleen." Harry remembered all too well when Mark had graduated from Hogwarts three years ago. Three, since all the chaos of the war as well as the re-structuring of the education pushed it back a year.

"Ah, good! Looks like we are in time!"

"Ron, Hermione! Over here!" Harry called.

Indeed, there came Ron and Hermione together with their children. Their daughter Rose was over a year Keir's senior while their son Hugo - named after author Viktor Hugo due to Hermione's suggestion - had been born a mere month ago and was sleeping in a harness which held him close to Hermione's chest.. Both parents looked a bit tired, but that was to be expected with having a baby in the house.

Many people who knew Ron as a successful professional chess player were astonished to learn that Ron Weasley the chess prodigy had being helping out in his brother's joke shop as a day job. Though, Ron would insist it was more for the experience. He also was training junior teams in Quidditch and other broom-based games on the side. Hermione meanwhile had taken up a career in the legal sector while also entering politics - though only at a reduced level right now, as she left the national level politics to Sirius, who had way more experience and weight in that field.

"You look a tiny bit pale, Hermione. Did Ron drive the car to come here?" Ginny asked, knowing of Ron's driving habits, regardless if on the road or in the air.

Hermione rolled her eyes. "Har har, very funny. Believe it or not, your brother Ron is a really good driver when his children are on board. You know I never fully got warm with flying transportation, regardless if it's a broom or a car."

"Then why take the car?" Harry wondered.

"It's because my wonderful wife does not want to put the children through travel by magic. That, and she's still delicate enough from the birth that she feared she could hurl," Ron told them in his usual very direct manner.

Hermione didn't even blink an eye. Knowing Ron for almost eighteen years and being married to him for eight of those and counting, she had long gotten used to his lack of tact at times. It didn't make him any less of a loving husband, after all. However, she gave him a quick message by pulling his ear for a moment, making Ron grimace for a second.

Ow... I guess this means I'm on diaper duty all on my own tomorrow, Ron realized, knowing he deserved it. Thankfully, she had felt he didn't mean it in a mean way, so he in turn felt she was not angry, just a bit annoyed.

"Dad did something dumb?" Rose asked her mother, as if that was something she had witnessed more than once.

"Yes, your father did something dumb," Hermione explained to her. "Tomorrow he'll be in charge of changing Hugo."

"Ewwww!" Rose said, though her giggles betrayed what she really was thinking.

My daughter loves to see me do unpleasant tasks, Ron thought, wondering if there was a female conspiracy.

Still, considering how well their marriage was going, Ron and Hermione remembered how Ron publicly proposing to Hermione and putting the ring onto her finger had made two other unmarried Weasley brothers feel pressured.

It was not so much at first for George, who was still recovering, but in time Molly gave him and Angelina interesting looks, which in turn made Angelina start to drop hints that she wanted a more permanent relationship with him. It did work out, considering that both of them were attending as a married couple, George carrying their firstborn.

Molly had taken a more proactive stance with Percy and Penelope. She had taken them aside and asked what was stopping them to go further. No one outside of those three knew what else had been said, but considering they were now Mr. and Mrs. Weasley with two adorable munchkins, it must have worked. Those two also had more responsibilities than ever, considering how the staff and administration of Hogwarts had grown.

"We also were held up because we ran into someone and the coincidence took everyone involved by surprise," Hermione explained further. "We hadn't heard of them since their release from prison and them getting a new identity."

Harry and Ginny knew right away that that was code for Draco Malfoy and Pansy Parkinson, though they no longer held those names.

The fates of the Malfoy and Parkinson families had been similar and yet so different. Both families and become penniless and both families had landed in prison for their deeds. Like Narcissa, the Parkinsons had tried to sneak away during battle, but were caught easily. However, that was where the similarities ended. They had only heard what had happened second-hand, but it underscored the difference.

Basically, Draco up until this day held contact with his parents, since they at least did care about him. That was contrasted with the Parkinsons. Pansy had screamed at her parents that they had been willing to sacrifice her for the opportunity to suck Voldemort's cock, before disowning them outright and up until this day never contacting them again.

The adults were still in prison, since all four of them had committed very serious crimes and probably wouldn't get out for a long time, or even never. Meanwhile, Draco and Pansy, thanks to their youth and the fact that they had not participated in the more serious crimes, had been released two years ago and given new identities. From what they had heard, those two were now leading a boring life somewhere in England.

"How are they doing? I'm curious how they did after being released," Ginny asked.

"Well, they can't be too bad off, considering that she was showing to be along about as much as you are," Ron said, for his part feeling a serious disconnect to how those two were now compared to the jerks from their school days.

"Let's hope they learned their lesson and know better now," Harry said, honestly being unable to imagine those two living an ordinary life, but perhaps it was to him still thinking of how they were in school.

"Ah, we were looking for you!"

That was Neville, approaching with Luna and their children. Luna had went through a twin pregnancy, though it was not identical twins, but a boy and a girl by the names of Deimos and Ceres, which had in turn made Sirius ask them if they had adopted the naming habits from the Blacks of old.

"You were cutting it a bit short," Hermione reminded them.

"It couldn't be helped, since we ran into some very interesting people," Luna said, looking like that must have been a really interesting encounter.

"They want to have a word with you as well, Harry," Neville told Harry while checking if their children needed anything.

Neville and Luna had taken up interesting professions after finishing their adult education. Granted, due to the fact the Longbottom fortune had been converted before the economic crash Neville wouldn't need a job, like Harry he would have grown insane with boredom. As it turned out, there was a huge demand for people who welp scientists and botanists with all of those new plants native to Earth. Even now Neville could not complain about a lack of work.

The same essentially also went for Luna, only for animals and creatures in her case, and in her words it was highly fascinating work. However, she was equally invested in working together with her father. Ever since Xenophilius had mostly set aside esoteric topics to instead create a publication for the non-magical market, the man had struck gold. Luna had found she liked spreading actual information about the magical world to those who wanted this information.

Of course she also liked the sense of wonder whenever people get into contact with magical creatures that they hadn't known even existed. She had said many times it was such a sense of wonder that was sorely missing from the old magical society, which in turn had made many lose respect for the creatures.

"Indeed. They should be here shortly." Luna then looked to Neville and over their connection sent him a feeling of gratitude. Though she had gotten a lot better at it, expressing herself always would be more difficult for her than for others. Her husband, who could feel how she truly felt was a godsend, as he thanks to their bond always understood her.

"OK, who wants to see me that badly?" Harry asked.

Neville and Luna couldn't answer when an excited voice cut them off from doing so.

"Ah, the great Harry Potter is here!"

They had not heard that voice for a longer time, considering they weren't at Hogwarts that often, but recognized it right away, despite sounding older than they remembered. And indeed, walking up to them excitedly was Dobby the house-elf, looking as excitable as ever. He was followed by a female elf they, after some thinking, remembered being his mate Fantia. However, the half-grown female elf walking next to her, wearing some nondescript white tunic instead of the uniform of the Hogwarts elves, they didn't recognize.

"Hello, Dobby, haven't seen you in a long time. Who is that with Fantia?" Harry asked, wondering what this now could be about.

"Oh, she is the whole pride of Dobby and Fantia!" Fantia said, almost bursting with pride. "The firstborn, though not yet old enough to take over tasks in the castle."

None of the Six had known that those two did have a daughter. Hermione for her part felt proud how the whole thing with the house-elves had become a serious topic now. Unlike with the old magic society, the fact that the nature of the elves got twisted to essentially make them slaves had horrified many people, who had thought that those days were over. Progress was slow, but there was progress.

Nobody said that undoing centuries of damage will be easy. Especially since the elve have to want change, Hermione thought, knowing that would be a lifetime task.

"Oh yes, and to honor the great Harry Potter, Dobby and Fantia decided to name her after him. Her name is Harriet," Dobby announced, looking like he could burst from pride.

"Oh, that is really nice, Dobby." Harry tried to be diplomatic, but his friends all knew that Harry felt more awkward than anything about that 'honor'.

"Reminds me of back in magical preschool when he learned there almost had been a Harry Potter Day in his honor," Neville whispered to his wife.

Luna remembered that incident all too well, even after almost two decades. "It was very interesting to see that some could blush that much. Harry would make a poor politician, since he's hating the idea of statues of him being erected."

"As insightful as ever," Neville said, while returning to watching the awkward scene. "When should we rescue him?"

Luna didn't a have a mean bone in herself, but she did see the humor in the whole thing. "As amusing as this is, since Ginny won't help Harry here, we should come to his rescue... soon."

...meanwhile in the office of the Headmistress...

"Time is going by so fast. Another year done and I'm about to congratulate the newest graduates. As much as things have changed, some things stay the same," Headmistress McGonagall said while making some last-minute preparations.

"You are not alone with the realization that time seems to fly, Minerva," Sirius told her, remembering how looking into the mirror showed considerable amounts of white hair in his beard. "But it's pointless to lament time passing."

"I do remember the rebel you were in school and the many headaches you caused me, and now look at yourself. You have become a respectable member of the House of Commons," McGonagall remarked, finding the path Sirius had gone in life very interesting.

"Thanks for reminding me. I honestly would have preferred to stay a humble police officer," Sirius said with a sigh.

That he was a politician was the reason he was being present in this very office. As much as he disliked it, his prominent position basically pushed him into taking a political career after the end of the war. He didn't care to remember the details, but he had ended up as the candidate for his local constituency at the 2001 election and actually won - even defended his seat in 2005.

Granted as the Secretary of State for Magical Affairs he had considerable influence to change things for the better in the country, but at times he honestly wished he could leave politics. After all, then he wouldn't constantly have to deal with bitchy Tories, organizations trying to buy his influence (did they remember how rich he is?) and dickish members of the gutter press attempting to drag his family into their shitty tactics.

At least he was still living with his family in the same house (after rebuilding it), still had Petunia as a neighbor and the Evans were still living nearby. It was such continuity that grounded him and made him realize why some people didn't like too much change in their lives.

Sirius then looked up to the portrait of Phineas Nigellus Black. "Is he still sulking? After several years I thought he would have gotten over it."

Instead of McGonagall, it was the portrait of Dumbledore, who answered. "Sadly, Phineas made it clear he would remove his advice until things at the school would, in his words, go back to how it was supposed to be. I fear his vow of silence will be for a long time then."

"Oh, how sad," Sirius said sarcastically, being relieved that the portrait of his obnoxious ancestor would keep quiet on his own.

No wonder the portrait was sulking, since the school had gone through serious changes.

After the old structures had all collapsed, there was no way for Hogwarts to continue the way it did in the past. Alone the fact that the separation between a magical and non-magical education had collapsed due to it now all being in the hand of the Department for Education had forced serious changes onto Hogwarts and how it was organizing magical education.

Having no further education on non-magical subjects after primary school was a big no-no, but it took time to phase in a new system where students with magic were already being taught about magic starting in primary school, so that in Hogwarts they not only would already be dealing with the more advanced stuff early on, but also had the needed time to complete their regular education. After some remarks from the press, it was admitted they had used a lot of the ideas from the German system.

Right then the door opened and in walked Remus.

"Well, everything is ready. The other teachers have sent me to tell you," he said.

"Good. This is a bit too exciting every year..." McGonagall sighed, sometimes wishing she had not taken over the job.

"You know, Moony, I still remember how you insisted that you could never take over a teaching position at Hogwarts on a permanent basis," Sirius reminded his old friend. "I bet James is really getting a kick out of you now being a respected teacher."

"As you said multiple times over the years, Padfoot," Remus said with a sigh, knowing his friend would never get tired reminding him of said fact. "Though it will be a bit awkward once Teddy starts attending Hogwarts next year."

"Not to speak of once Amanda does," Sirius added, playing at four-year old Amanda Lupin, who unlike her brother was proving to be rather bratty, causing Dora, in her own words, 'get gray hairs I can't undo' and find new respect for how patient her own parents had been with herself.

"Your children are downright angels. Wouldn't have expected that," Remus said while they made their way to the entrance hall.

"After the excesses of our own youth, everything looks tame. Also isn't fun when you are the parent who has to deal with it. Steve and Kathleen had indeed always been well-behaved... well, until they became teenagers." Sirius grimaced a bit when remembering that. "As for Simon, he seems a bit more mischievous than his older siblings."

I have a feeling it won't get boring once Simon enters Hogwarts, Remus thought, part of him dreading the day.

Finally having reached the entrance hall, Sirius and Remus saw their families - of course minus Steve and Kathleen - waiting for them. Due to Remus being one of the teachers and Sirius being an important politician - not to mention contributor to the school - they would be seated at special places. Right now Diane was again talking with Simon.

"Mum, why do I have to?!" He didn't sound very happy.

"I know, you want to be with all the family friends, but sadly, your father's position means we have stand on that side," Diane explained to her son.

Young Amanda Lupin snorted at Simon's behavior. "You are whining!" she complained.

"While that is true, you should be nicer about it," Dora reminded her daughter.

"Amanda is always brutally honest, you know that, Mum," Teddy reminded Dora, his hair changing to pale blue to show he didn't want to be pulled into this.

"Ah, there you are!" Diane said when noticing the new arrivals. "I need your help. Simon listens more to you than to me, after all."

Sirius had a feeling that this would end in an outright bribe to convince the youngest of his children to go along so they wouldn't lose any time, regardless how much Diane was sure to tell him that that would only encourage him. No one had said that being a parent was easy.

...back outside...

After convincing Dobby and his family that they would meet them after the ceremony (and Ginny's expression made it clear Harry couldn't conveniently 'forget' that), The Six had mingled with their families, who were all being present, since they had seen Steve and Kathleen grow up and of course would be here for this special day.

Right now they were talking with Thomas and Veronica, and of course their daughter Mary, who was seven years old. Unlike other children in the extended family, but much like Selene Lovegood, she did not have any magic gift. However, in these changed times that no longer was carrying a stigma and Mary herself honestly wondered why some older magical folk made such an issue of it.

"I know Mark is somewhere in the crowd. He's really busy with introducing his girlfriend to everyone he knows," Thomas explained why their adult son was not being present at the moment.

"He must be really proud of her that he's so busy introducing her to everyone," Ginny remarked.

Mary rolled her eyes when hearing that. "Oh yes, exciting..."

Veronica sighed when seeing that reaction. "I know you are annoyed, since it means Mark spends less time with you. Sophia however is really nice, you can't deny that."

"Mmmngh, yes..." Mary reluctantly admitted

Sophia was a woman whom Mark had met in the line of his new work and things had developed between them. Sophia had not a single drop of magic inside herself, but in this day and age that was no issue, since Mark had casually revealed his magic powers, but then added he had grown up in a suburb of London. Considering that there still were wizards and witches who were utterly hopeless when it came to the new times, adding that was understandable.

"Only too bad that Dudley and Millicent can't attend. It couldn't be helped, however," Harry said with a sigh.

"Oh, I heard about that from Petunia. The younger of their two children got a nasty infection that even magic couldn't fully clear up. Dudley and Millicent elected to stay home to take care of him. They are really sad they are missing this," Veronica explained.

"Interesting how much she has mellowed out after having grandchildren she could spoil," Thomas added, feeling that still was way better than how Petunia had been before. Also, Dudley and Millicent knew how to not let that get too far.

"Ah, looks like we are in time."

They saw that it was Ted and Andromeda Tonks together with their adopted daughter Delphini. The ten-year old girl was quieter than usual, which was little wonder, since it was not so long ago that she had been told the truth about her parentage. She had known she had been born to different parents, so Ted and Andromeda had promised to tell her once she was old enough.

Now Delphini honestly wished she would have never asked. Learning that two horrible mass murderers were her biological parents had shocked her deeply. She didn't even want to think the place she would be in without all the loving support and reassurances that they would not judge her over her parentage. Still, Delphini would need more time to process all of that.

"That was cutting it really short. I wonder if you met on the way..." Luna started to think aloud.

"Mum, you are drifting off again," Ceres reminded her mother.

Luna blinked. "Oh... Thank you, darling. You are really good at keeping me on track when your father doesn't do so first. Sometimes my mind is just roaming."

Ron meanwhile knelt down next to Delphini. Despite her parentage, he had developed a soft spot for her over the years. "How do you feel? Honestly?"

"I'll feel better, but right now I'm still somewhat shocked." Delphini then looked around. "You promise it really is kept secret?"

"It's been declared a state secret. No one wants you to suffer for what they did," Ron reassured her, knowing there were enough people who would try to harm Delphini, should they know.

"You are really good with children, you know?" Ted told Ron, looking impressed.

"I have lots of experience, and not only with my own children," Ron said, remembering many instances of such.

"It's a skill not everyone has." Andromeda then glanced to Delphini. "We are doing our best, but she still needs time after such a revelation."

"Look, the ceremony is about to begin!" Hermione called.

Indeed, the seats next to the stage were filling with faculty and special guests and they also could see the graduates, including Steve and Kathleen, waiting for the ceremony to start. That was the signal for everyone else to also go to their seats.

"Look!.. Look!" Keir said, pointing to Hagrid, who was waving back, having noticed them.

"Oh yes, Hagrid is hard to miss," Harry laughed.

Seeing Hagrid among the teachers, Harry remembered how the big man's life had went after the end of the war. He actually was a married man now and it was rather complicated how both him and Olympe managed to keep their carreers and married life together, considering Hogwars and Beauxbaton were over 1500 kilometers apart. But somehow, they were doing it just fine.

It was a bit of organized chaos, but finally everything was ready and they saw Headmistress McGonagall enter the stage. "Parents and guests, in the name of Hogwarts I welcome you..." she started her speech.

Ginny after some moments rolled her eyes. "I thought she hated speeches and that the one at Mark's graduation was not the norm?" she whispered to Harry.

"She does, but since this is important and has so many guests, she has to give one every time. She does hate every single time she has to do so," Harry whispered back, seeing the humor in it.

He meant no offense to McGonagall, but Harry had never been one to endure long speeches with his full attention. He didn't know why he did so, but he did feel the faint scar on his forehead, which since the days of his childhood had almost entirely healed after the soul fragment had been removed form it. Nowadays it was so faint, it was almost impossible to see it.

"Harry, what are you doing?" Ginny wondered.

"I felt how the scar is almost entirely healed and thought it's symbolic how much better our lives now are," Harry told his wife.

"Yes, but better pay attention now," Ginny told him, pointing to McGonagall being done. "Give them their full attention."

"I will, and later today there will be a big party for them." Harry knew this would be quite the affair.

Watching the graduation ceremony start, Harry thought one final time how much better their lives were now. Were they perfect? Of course not. However, they didn't have to be perfect and as long as they were doing their best, he felt things would be OK.

Harry Potter liked the life he was now living.

Notes:

Here the final notes.

Finally the story is complete. It honestly became way bigger than expected, that's what I get for underestimating how long Harry Potter canon actually is. It was a long ride, though thankfully not as long as the previous story, which allowed me to refine my M.O. how to write and publish.

As announced above, the story is now available as a superior PDF-version on request. Just contact me and I will tell how to get it from me.

With this story done, I can announce my NEXT PROJECT.

The Avatar story Atonement has laid dormant for years due to various circumstances. It now will be heavily rewritten and vastly improved and then continued to the end. If you know the old version... a lot will change, and the old chapters got erased by now, so no one can spoil the thing by reading the old chapters. Put that story on alert if you want to know when things start.

Hope to see you in my next story!
