Rodolphus sighed heavily, the weight of exhaustion pressing down on him like a lead blanket. "Of course," he muttered, his voice barely above a whisper.

Harry watched him closely, his concern evident in the furrow of his brow. "Tom, it's for your safety too. If Rodolphus got hurt, I don't want to deal with an angry Harry Potter," he said with a wry smirk. "So, by that logic, he's off duty until after the birth and recovery."

Rodolphus's head spun, his thoughts sluggish. He turned to his brother, his voice hoarse. "Rabastan, it's fine. Stay and help with the planning. Our lord and Lord Harry could use you."

Tom gave a nod of approval. "That's acceptable. Now, let's eat and get some rest."

Rodolphus barely had the energy to respond. "Fine," he muttered flatly.

Harry kept a careful eye on him as the meal began, but Rodolphus barely touched his food, pushing it around his plate with clear disinterest.

"Rod," Harry asked softly, "are you not hungry?"

Rodolphus shook his head, swallowing against the nausea that had taken root in his stomach. "No."

"Are you feeling sick again?"

A small nod was all the answer he could manage.

Harry sighed, concern tightening his chest. "Lean on me," he urged gently. "Try to rest."

Relieved, Rodolphus let himself sink against Harry's shoulder, his exhaustion winning out almost immediately.

Tom, observing, spoke carefully. "Is he alright?"

Harry's voice was quiet but heavy with worry. "No. He's been nauseous again."

Severus, who had been silently watching, finally spoke up. "I have anti-nausea potions in my bag. He can take one now if needed."

"That would be great, Sev," Harry said, gratitude in his tone.

Severus handed over the potion, and Harry gently shook Rodolphus awake. "Love, wake up. Drink this."

Rodolphus stirred, barely opening his eyes. "What…?" His voice was raw, sluggish.

"Anti-nausea potion," Harry explained.

Without protest, Rodolphus took the potion, the relief almost instant. "Thanks," he murmured before his body gave in again, his head settling back on Harry's shoulder.

"I'll keep you stocked," Severus said quietly.

Harry gave a small, appreciative nod. "Thanks, Sev."

As the meal wrapped up, Harry gently roused Rodolphus. "Come on, love, let's get you to bed."

A groan of protest. "Okay," Rodolphus mumbled, forcing himself to his feet.

But the moment he stood, dizziness crashed into him like a tidal wave. His vision blurred, his balance faltered, and before he could react, his body swayed dangerously—straight into the Dark Lord.

Tom caught him with ease, steadying him with a firm grip. "Rodolphus?" His voice held rare concern.

Harry was there in an instant, pressing a hand to Rodolphus's forehead, his worry spiking. "Rod, talk to me—what's wrong?"

"I'm dizzy," he mumbled weakly, his body betraying him. "I'm… sorry."

"There's nothing to be sorry for," Tom said smoothly. "Can you stand?"

Rodolphus gave the faintest shake of his head. The world tilted dangerously, his stomach lurching with it.

"Rodolphus, what's wrong?" Harry asked urgently, summoning a bowl just in time.

Rodolphus barely had a moment before his stomach revolted, violent retching wracking his already-exhausted body. His hands trembled as he gripped the bowl, the nausea relentless.

Tom's frown deepened as he turned to Harry. "Summon a healer. This isn't normal."

Harry didn't hesitate. A moment later, the healer arrived, scanning Rodolphus with practiced precision.

After a long pause, the healer finally spoke. "He seems fine—just exhausted. Has he been eating and sleeping properly?"

Harry's jaw tightened. "He's been nauseous all week. Tired, too."

The healer's advice was simple but firm. "Keep him on anti-nausea potions and make sure he eats something light, even if it's just toast or crackers. Rest is key."

Harry nodded, his grip on Rodolphus tightening protectively. "Understood."

As the healer left, silence settled over the room, the weight of Rodolphus's condition heavy in the air. Harry exhaled slowly, his resolve hardening.

Whatever it took, he was going to take care of him.

No matter what.
