Rose had baked some cookies and the festivities continued. She got a lot of her friends to come help decorate Kelly's for the first Christmas she was back in decades. The kids were having so much fun, and all the adults were loving every minute of it.
Robert was holding Seana up as she placed an ornament on the tree. "You know that is perfect, Rosie has the best helpers."
Seana's eyes lit up as she gave Robert a hug.
Holly loved seeing the two of them together like this, it made he think of what they could have had and what they do have. She was very grateful.
"I want to go eat cookies." Seana told Robert as she looked over at the table. Rose had placed out two cookies and a cup of milk for each of the kids.
"Well I Don't blame you." Robert kissed her cheek and sat her down.
Seana ran over to the table.
"You know you are the best grandpa ever." Holly grinned as she gave Robert a kiss.
Robert kissed her and kept his head resting against hers. "You are the best everything. I love you."
"I love you too, with all my heart." Holly took his hand and went to go sit down. "I have a session tomorrow with Kevin, I've been putting it off with the holidays."
"I get that, Holly. You've discovered a lot of truths, answered a lot of questions we've had. It's a lot to process." Robert took Holly's hand into his. "If you want to wait until after the holidays..."
Holly shook her head no. "I appreciate that but I need to do this. Putting it off does no one any good."
"Do you know how proud I am of you?" Robert asked Holly as he held her hand in his.
"Robert, I'm just doing what needs to be done." Holly told Robert as James ran up to them.
"Uncle Robert! Aunt Holly!" James gave them both big hugs.
"Hey, there's my buddy." Robert remember what Frisco and Felicia had told him earlier. "Did you drive here yourself?"
James laughed and shook his head. "No, Grandpa Frisco and grandma brought my sisters and me."
"You want to go get some of Rosie's cookies?" Robert asked as he stood up.
James shook his head yes as the two walked off together.
Felicia came and sat with Holly. "You okay?" She asked, waving over Tiff.
"Yes, I'm just facing my past head on but I don't need to think about that tonight." Holly shifted her focus, wanting to think of time with her family and friends.
Tiffany came over and sat down. "I'll tell you keeping up with Donna and Seana keeps me busy but is such a treat."
Holly knew how much Tiffany loved being so important to those two little girls. "They are so lucky to have you."
"I'm lucky to have them too. We need to spend more time together soon though, I really miss my friend." Tiffany told Holly as she reached out and took her hand.
"Maybe we can have a tea party for the girls, turn on a movie for them and then have some girl talk." Holly suggested, knowing the two of them had had a hard time setting up a time. "I can't do tomorrow but maybe the next day?"
"It's a date!" Tiffany's eyes lit up as she got up to go give her friend a hug. "And you know if you ever need to talk you can call me day or night."
Holly hugged Tiffany back. "And the same goes for you, always."
