Kevin's Office
Robert was sitting nearby as Holly was put under hypnosis again.
Australia 1987
Robert had just came home from Port Charles, absolutely devastated that Bert turned out to be a bad guy. He didn't get it and couldn't really wrap his head around it.
Holly was heartbroken too, something seemed so wrong about it but she was more concerned for Robert. "Hey, are you okay?" She asked as she took a seat next to him.
Robert looked up and smiled. "I just...what made Bert go bad?"
Holly stroked Robert's cheek. "I don't know, I don't understand it at all but I do know Robin is safe because of you."
Robert nodded as he took Holly's hand and kissed it. "I'm sorry I was away for so long."
"I understand. I hate being apart but Robin's safety has to come first." Holly understood that, she actually loved that about him. She knew when they had kids they would be safe too.
"So does yours, that's why I wanted you to stay here. I never want to put you in danger." Robert kissed her hand again.
Holly knew Robert had a lot going on right now, she had had a few run ins while he was away but figured she would bring them up later. "I'm safe, darling. Even safer with you here." Holly gave him a kiss.
End of flashback
"What were those run ins that you were going to tell Robert about?" Kevin asked Holly.
"I just seemed to run into the same people, some of them commenting on how my husband seemed to be away a lot. Making little digs at my marriage. Uncle Frank told me that they didn't know what they were talking about, even gave a few of them a piece of his mind. Eventually I think it did start to feel like they were right, I know now they weren't. I knew in my heart then they weren't but my head was telling me a lot." Holly shared while still under hypnosis.
"What happened during the car crash?" Kevin asked her, wanting to see if she recalled anything different than the story she had been told.
"Barry and I were sitting and I was trying to get the driver to slow down." Holly told him, getting visibly upset as she spoke.
"The driver?" Robert thought to himself. Holly had told him she was driving all those years ago.
