Two weeks later

Princess Rosalie

"Wake up, Rose! Wake up!" Exclaimed a familiar voice, shaking me as I groaned before opening my eyes.

I opened them to see Liz looking at me excitedly as I looked at her confused before sitting up.

"What is it, Liz?" I asked her, yawning and rubbing my eyes before looking at her.

"It's Wassalia Day! More importantly, it's your first Wassalia Day with us!" She exclaimed happily as my eyes widened.

'Crap, she's right. That meant my wedding was approaching really soon.' I thought before smiling at Liz.

"Come on, there's so much to do!" She said, taking my hand and pulling me out of bed.

"Wait, I have to get dressed first," I said as she nodded at me.

"Alright, alright. Let's go see what we can find," she said as we headed to my closet.

I wanted to wear something beautiful that matched Wassalia and Whelsire since Liz wore a beautiful dress.

Her dress was a beautiful mint and white dress with long mint sleeves. Pearls dangling from the bust to the ankles and line designs.

"I love your dress; it's so cute and simple," I said as she smiled.

"Thanks, it was a present from Queen Leena and King Nicolas from Alcazar," she said as I frowned at her.

"Really?" I said as she smiled before shaking her head.

"Oh no, not like that," she said as I smirked.

"Yeah, that's why your parents went to Corinthia," I said as she rolled her eyes.

"No, they didn't go there," said Liz as I frowned, confused.

"Really? Then where did they go if not for you then?" I asked as Liz playfully rolled her eyes.

"They went togotalk with Lady Malorie," she said as I gasped with joy.

"They finally found her?" I asked as Liz nodded her head happily.

"Yes, and I am so happy because this proves that my Father didn't do anything, and they'll leave him alone," said Liz as I nodded.

"I'm glad this is sorting out terrific, Liz. Your Dad is a good man and doesn't deserve this," I said as she smiled.

"He's the best, isn't he," said Liz as I nodded.

"Ever since I got here, your Father has been nothing but kind to me. He's protected and cared for like a Father should," I said as she smiled.

"That's more than I can say about my Father," I said, a bit upset as Liz smiled slightly.

"I'm sorry, Rose," she said as I smiled and shook my head.

"You have nothing to feel sorry for; I should apologize. Your Father doesn't deserve this; mine does," I said as she sighed.

"You can't control what your parents are; we are not responsible for what they have become. Nor should we apologize for their actions," she said as I smiled at her.

"Still, he's my Father. I feel like he's behind this somehow," I said. Liz nodded.

"If he is, we will catch him. I promise you that," said Liz as I smiled and nodded.

"You'd make a great queen, you know," I said as she shook her head.

"Yeah, with whom? All guys are the same," she said as I raised my eyebrow.

"Hmmm, I don't know; I think you could have good contestants," I said as she rolled her eyes.

"Oh yeah, like whom?" She asked, raising her eyebrow as I thought momentarily.

"The prince of Corinthia and Alcazar seem like good potentials for you," I said as she rolled her eyes.

From my classes at Ever Realm, I knew very well that they both have a son who is her age or probably close to it.

"No, thank you," she said as I smirkedat her.

"Come one, Liz, you don't like any of them then?" I asked as she shook her head.

"I don't like anyone; I find all guys annoying," she said, soundinga bitannoyed as I giggled.

"All guys?" I asked as she thought for a moment.

"Except my Dad, of course. Plus, we both think it isn't time yet," she said, as I thought.

"How old are you?" I asked as we continued to look for a dress.

"I'm 15, turning 16 in a few months," she said as I nodded.

"And you're not at all interested in guys?" I asked as she shook her head.

"Not really, and I think it's because I haven't found one to challenge me," she said as I frowned, confused.

"Challenge you? You want someone to challenge you?" I asked as she nodded.

"I'm not like other princesses waiting to be rescued; I like adventure and find it boring being all proper," she said as I nodded.

"The guys I went to school with like to be the heroes, and I don't want that; I want someone who accepts me with my 'uniqueness,' as my Mother says it," she said as I raised my eyebrow at her.

"And that is usually referred to as a challenge; at least, that's what William says," she says as I giggle.

"I think that's more romantic because you don't settle, and it will prove he will love you for you," I said as she nodded.

"Exactly," she said, and I couldn't help but think that part of her was lying.

She's turning 16 and has been around boys longer than I have; I'm surprised she doesn't have a crush on them.

I slightly shook my head as I came across a beautiful dress I couldn't take my eyes off.

It is a sky blue sweetheart ball gown with off-the-shoulder long white sleeves and snow designs on the dress.

"This one," I said, pulling the dress as she saw it. She smiled before nodding.

"Yes! 100%," she said as I put on the dress and wore matching heels before walking out for my hair.

I sat and began to unbraid my hair as the beach wave curls formed; I quickly took a broach and clipped it on the back of my hair.

It gave me a half-up, half-down style. I put on dusty crystal blue drop earrings that matched my ring beautifully before applying red lipstick.

Once I was done, I stood and looked at Liz, who was approvingly smiling at me.

"So beautiful," said a familiar voice as we saw William leaning at the door and Liz crossing her arms.

"Ahem, ever heard of knocking?" She said as I giggled and we walked to him.

"The door was opened, so that means come in," said William, smirking as Liz shook her head.

"Can we help you with something?" Asked Liz as William nodded.

"I came to see if you two were ready. Mom had already begun with the preparations, and Dad left with Edward to see the preparations," he said as I frowned.

"What preparations? Aren't they done here?" I asked, confused, as they shook their heads.

"Nope, we don't celebrate Wassalia Day in the castle," said Liz, smiling as I looked at her confused.

"Our parents changed the celebration of Wassalia Day as soon as they took charge of Whelsire," said William as I raised my eyebrow.

"All we're saying is that you're going to love it! Right, William?" Asked Liz, raising her eyebrow as he nodded.

"Fine, I won't say anything," he said as Liz smiled before he took hold of my hand.

"But I promise you will love the tradition; it's beautiful," he said as I smiled and nodded.

"Alright," I said, smiling, looking at his eyes as we were interrupted by Liz.

"Still here, love birds," she said. I felt my face blush as William rolled his eyes.

"You're annoying at times, you know that?" He said as she crossed her arms, and I playfully hit him.

"Be nice," I said before looking at her as she smiled.

"I love your personality and don't think it's annoying, Liz," I said as she grinned at William.

"Thank you, Rose, see," she said as he rolled his eyes.

"Just wait till she spends more time with you and gets to know you," said William as we began to walk.

"I think I'm quite charming," said Liz, walking happily as William nodded.

"Yeah, that's why all the boys run from you," he said as I lightly pulled his arm.

"As you said, boys. Not men; they prove they aren't at my level. I won't settle for less," she said as I smiled and noddedat her.

"Lucky us," said William as we entered the dining room to see Queen

Sofia.

"William, play nice," said Sofia as his eyes widened as she raised her eyebrow.

"Don't think I didn't hear you. Rose, good morning darling," said Sofia, smiling as I returned the smile.

"Good morning, happy Wassalia day," I said as she returned the smile.

"Happy Wassalia to you, my dear. I promise you'll love our tradition here," said Sofia as Liz cut in.

"That's what I told her, Mom," added Liz as Sofia nodded.

"Have a quick breakfast before we set out. There is still so much to do," Sofia said as we all nodded and sat.

While we ate breakfast, I noticed there was a lot of movement, and I couldn't help but think they wereserious.

It was a nice change; my Father's palace was always silent during this time.

'But today that was going change, no more being alone or sulking during holidays.' I thought as I finished my breakfast.

Once we were finished, we quickly helped Sofia with the rest of the and I ensured the food was prepared and carefully packaged before taking it to the carriages.

"Why so much food?" I asked Liz as the last of the food was being placed in the carriage, and she smiled.

"Can't tell you, or it will ruin the surprise," she said, smirking as I rolled my eyes.

"Come on, tell me!" I said as she giggled and shook her head.

"Are we ready?" Asked the Queen as she arrived with William and his GrandDad Garrick.

"Yes!" Exclaimed Liz happily as she smiled.

"Perfect. Your Father and brother should be ready and waiting for us," said Sofia as everyone nodded.

"Let's not keep them waiting then," said Garrick as we nodded and headed inside the carriage.

During the ride, I couldn't help but wonder where we were going and, most importantly, why they hadn't said anything yet.

"You excited for your first Wassalia here, Rosalie?" Asked Garrick as I smiled and nodded.

"I would be even more if I knew where we are going," I said as they smiled brightly.

"We're almost there, just a few more steps," said the Queen as I looked out thewindowconfused.

I saw snow all around, which continued to snow lightly around us. But what seemed confusing was what she said.

'What does she mean by just a few more steps? We're still in the village?' I thought as the carriage came to a complete stop.

"We're here!" Exclaimed Liz as the carriage door opened to reveal King Hugo and Prince Edward.

"His Majesty, Queen Sofia, the late King Garrick, and Princess Elizabeth," said a voice before William looked at me.

"Ready?" He asked, offering me his hand. I smiled and nodded.

"Ready," I said as he walked out of the carriage first, and I followed him from behind.

"Crowned Prince William and his Fiancé Princess Rosalie of Amathest," said the same voice as I turned to see the castle steward Isaac.

I quickly turned to seean amazingview, and I couldn't help but smile as I looked around.

"Surprise, indeed," I whispered so low that I thought no one would hear me, but William caught that.

"Hope you love it," he said as we walked towards the villagers.

I looked around and saw many villagers from Whelsire dressed warmly in coats and bringing tons of food.

It was then that I looked and saw much of the castle's food being set on a long table.

Children ran around the big Wassalia tree in the center of the village, which was covered with many candles, colored ribbons, and streams.

This is what they meant by "different." They didn't celebrate Wassalia in the castle like most families do. They celebrated it with their people, a beautiful tradition indeed.

Music played as the snow fell, and many danced, talked, ate, and laughed. You could almost say it was a ball, but it was better than that—it was a family get-together celebration.

Especially since this wasn't a formal dance, it was more of a fun, loose dance where everyone had fun.

You could dance in pairs or by yourself. People clapped as many joined in the dances.

What really shocked me was seeing Liz. She was dancing happily around her people, showing not Princess Elizabeth but the Liz we all knew.

She saw me and quickly gestured for me to join. I smiled and shook my head as she stepped aside and walked to me.

"You don't mind if I take your fiancé with me, brother? Great, thanks," said Liz as she pulled me before William could say anything.

There was so much commotion and laughter that it was hard not to join in the fun. Without realizing it, I was already following Liz's style.

I could hear the claps and cheers from afar as I closed my eyes and smiled. Never in a million years did I think I would end up here happy, excited, relieved, and, most importantly, loved.

I opened my eyes again, and as I made a turn, I could see the King and Queen join in the dance happily.

While William was smiling and crossing his arms, observing, I saw Liz approaching me.

"Not for long," she said happily as she danced to get William's hand, and within seconds, he was dancing like we were.

I couldn't help but smile at the thought of this as the music changed its beat, indicating that the song was about to end.

It was then Liz redirected towards me before letting go of William and spinning in the direction I was before I spun where she came from.

I thought I was going to fall until the music stopped, and I landed on a familiar pair of arms.

I looked up to see a familiar pair of green eyes, and I smiled as the people began clapping and cheering.

"I need some refreshments, don't you?" Liz asked as she came in, and I smiled.

"I'll get that for you ladies," said William as I smiled and nodded before he left.

"Having fun?" Asked Liz as I nodded.

"Never in a million years have I had this much fun," I said, smiling as she gleamedwith joy.

"I am glad. We were a bit worried about telling you about this," said Liz as I looked at her confused.

"How come?" I asked as she bit her lip nervously before looking down at me and then up.

"Look at yourself, Rose. You come from a pristine family. We thought you would think of us as silly or weird," said Liz as I raised my eyebrow.

"Pristine?" I said as she giggled.

"Private lessons, parties, we were afraid you would be stuck up," she said as I giggled for the first time in months.

As I looked up at Liz, still giggling, she looked at me in shock, as if she had just seen a ghost. I continued to laugh.

"I thought that's how you guys were going to be," I said as Liz shook her head immediately.

"Heck no, I'm glad we were both wrong," she said as I nodded.

"Here we go, Whelsire's favorite, hot Vanilla," said William as we sipped our cups.

"This is amazing," I said as they smiled.

"It was our Mother's favorite. When she moved here, she trained the chefs how to prepare it," said William as Liz nodded.

"Something from her old home to bring to the new one," Added Liz as we nodded.

"Something to possibly have at your wedding?" Asked Liz as I looked at William before nodding.

"Definitely," I said as he smiled.

We continued dancing, laughing, eating, and discussing with many villagers for many hours. It was amazing to hear from all of them, their stories, and gratefulness for the King and Queen.

It made me think of what kind of rulers William and I would be. I hope the same fairness his parents had.

The sun was beginning to set, meaning we would soon turn on the tree and light the Wassalia candle.

I was really grateful that I had not yet had the displeasure of meeting my Father.

I was a bit worried about him running another Wassalia day for me, but luckily, that didn't happen.

I looked around and noticed all the family gathering around the tree and putting down plenty of presents under it.

'Shit,' I totally forgot to give mine. Hopefully, I can do that tonight when we get back.

I looked on the right side and noticed some children playing around near a pile of snow.

I walked towards them and noticed they were huddling together and talking before one of them turned around.

"Hi there, I'm Princess Rosalie. What are your names?" I asked as the group of kids smiled.

"I'm Emily," said a girl with curly hair.

"I'm Daniel," said a boy.

"I'm Lillian," said the last girl as I smiled at them.

"Are you going to be our new princess?" Asked Lillian.

"No, dummy, she's going to be our new queen," said Daniel as I bent down and smiled at them.

"Would you guys like me to be?" I asked as they all smiled.

"Yes," they all said as I smiled.

"Why?" I asked, raising my eyebrow.

"You're pretty," said Emily.

"You're nice," said Lillian.

"You play with us, like Queen Sofia and Princess Elizabeth do," said Daniel as I smiled.

"Then I would be honored to become your new queen," I said as they smiled.

"We have this for you, Your Majesty," said Emily as they all gave me a big straw heart-shaped with yellow bows all around.

"Thank you, Emily, Lillian, and Daniel. This is amazing," I said as they smiled.

"Can I get a hug?" I asked as they smiled and quickly hugged me.

"We better get back before they find out we're gone," they said as I smiled and nodded.

"Go," I said as I saw themrace backto their families.

I looked at the beautiful heart they had created for me and was about to walk back to them when something caught my attention.

I looked to the side and saw beautifultrees covered in snow, but that wasn't what caught my attention.

What caught my attention was the small lake that was moving. It was winter, and it wasn't frozen.

I walked over and saw that half of the lake was frozen while the other half wasn't.

The part closer to me was, while the far section wasn't, and I could see that since it was connected to the main river.

"Don't let Edward or Liz see you here, or they'll pull you to ice skating," said a familiar voice as I tuned in to see William walking towards me, smiling.

"It looks so peaceful here," I said as he smiled.

"Yes, my family likes to come here a lot," he said as I frowned, confused.

"Why?" I asked as he smiled.

"My family is a big fan of enchanted ice skating," he said as my eyes widened.

"Really?" I said as he nodded.

He walked over to me and took my hand before looking at the beautiful heart the children had given me.

"They love you already," he said as I smiled.

"I don't see how; I barely know them," I said as he chuckled.

"They know enough. The people have been seeing you all day and how you interact with them," he said as I smiled.

"You're like my Mom, and that's what they want: a queen who will support them through it all," he said as I looked up at him.

"Am I, though? I can't even protect myself. How am I to protect all these people?" I asked as he put his hand on my face.

"All Doves start as babies and get help before they're released to expand their wings and fly," he said as I smiled.

"Come on, let's join the party before they find out we're missing," he said. I smiled and nodded as we walked back.

"Does your family invite other friends or family members?" I asked as he nodded.

"Sometimes, we have family over, and other times, we invite close friends," he said, as I thought.

"Like the family of Corinthia or Alcazar?" I asked as he raised his eyebrow at me, and I smiled.

"I see where you're going at, and yes, they have. Sometimes, they come, and other times, they don't," he said as we walked back to see Liz happily dancing with the crowd.

I turned to look at William and was about to say something when a familiar face made me turn with agony.

'No, no, no,'I thought before slightly shaking my head as William quickly turned around.

"Rosalie, sweetheart. So good to see you,"said my Father as I swallowed hard.

"What are you doing here, Ricardo?"Asked William as my Father raised his eyebrow at him and smirked.

"That anyway, to say hello to your future father-in-law?"Said my Father as I slightly stood aside from William.

"You weren't invited, so I don't see why you are here in my kingdom,"said William as my Father smiled.

"But my daughter is here, and I want to spend Wassalia Day with her,"said my Father as I shook my head.

"You have never wanted to spend Wassalia Day with me; how is this any different?"I said as he looked at me, shocked.

"Rosalie, we'll talk about this later, sweetheart,"he started as I shook my head.

"No, leave, Dad. You're not wanted here,"I said as he approached me, but William stood between us.

"You heard her; leave,"said William as my Father gave me a look I knew very well.

"This isn't over; I'll see you all at court,"said my Father, upset.

"Yes, we will,"said William. My Father looked at us one more time, then smiled and raised his eyebrow before leaving.

I took a deep breath before looking at William, who was smiling, and I couldn't help but smile myself.

"And you say you're not brave enough?"William said, raising his eyebrow and smirking as I smiled.

"Come on,"he said as we made our way back to the center.

Upon walking, I couldn't help but notice his brother Edward talking with this one girl. What was surprising was the way he looked at her.

"Is that your brother talking to a young girl?"I asked as he looked in their direction and nodded.

"Aria is her name, I believe. We met them a while back when we were helping rebuild the village church,"said William as I nodded.

"I believe my brother may have a crush on her,"he said as I nodded.

"You believe or know?"I asked him as he chuckled slightly.

"He doesn't say anything about it, but anytime there's a village event, I see him looking for her,"said William as I smiled.

"He definitely does, then,"I said as he nodded.

We had just arrived back. Sofia and Hugo had the match to light the Wassalia candle, and we stood around it as people started a countdown.

"Five… Four… Three…. Two….. One…. Happy Wassalia Day!"Exclaimed everyone as Sofia and Hugo lit up the candle.

Everyone clapped and cheered with joy, giving each other hugs and kisses.

It was then Sofia and Hugo started handing out presents, but they weren't just any gifts. They were gifts they had brought for all the children in the kingdom.

They passed them along as many children gleaned with joy and opened them, veryexcited and happy.

"Come with me,"whispered William near my ear as I nodded, took hold of his hand, and followed him.

He was leading me back to the lake, and I couldn't help but raise my eyebrow, confused.

"Why are we back here?"I asked, confused, as we stopped in front of the lake with him next to me.

"Close your eyes,"he said as I smiled, confused at him, before closing my eyes nervously.

Part of me didn't want to do it, while another part of me was telling me to. He earned my trust, so why shouldn't I?

I stayed still with my eyes closed for what felt like forever until something cold touched my neck.

I opened my eyes immediately and saw a gold chain around my neck, but that wasn't what caught my attention.

What caught my attention was the pendant that lay on my chest. It is a beautiful gold Dove. I touched it before turning around to face William.

"A Dove?"I asked as he smiled and nodded.

"I call you Dove for a reason, and today, you have shown me that you are ready to be set free,"he said as my eyes widened.

"What if…. What if I don't want to be set free?"I asked as he looked at me, confused.

"I don't understand. Isn't that what you always wanted? To be free?"He asked me as I thought momentarily before shaking my head.

"Being free sometimes doesn't mean I have to go but stay,"I said as his eyes widened.

"You want to stay?"he asked me, looking into my eyes. I didn't dare look away from him, so I slightly nodded.

I knew very well what he was telling me. In other words, he said I was free—not just from my Father but also from the arranged marriage. He was giving me an out.

A while back, I think I would have taken it without hesitation; now, I don't want to leave; I want to stay here.

"Yes,"I said as hetook a stepcloser to me.

"Why?"He asked. He raised a hand and started caressing my cheek, but neither of us broke eye contact.

'Why?'That was a good question. I didn't know why I wanted to stay here; I just knew I didn't want to leave.

"I… I don't know. All I know is that I don't want to leave,"I said as he smiled.

"You know, Dove, I'm in the same situation as you,"he said, and I frowned, confused, at him as he smiled.

"I can say you're free and let you choose, but deep down, I don't want you to leave either, and I don't know why,"he said, and I couldn't help but bite my lip.

"Maybe…. Maybe we can help each other,"I said as he smirked.

"I think you're right, Dove,"he said before leaning in close and brushing his lips against mine.

The kiss was soft yet passionate, almost as if he was afraid I would break. I didn't want him to stop, but he pulled away slightly before smiling and looking into my eyes.

"Happy Wassalia day, Dove,"he said as I smiled.

"Happy Wassalia Day,"I said, smiling before he claimed my lips again.

King Ricardo

I stoodfromafar, looking at how my daughter was throwing away our future. I shook my head before leaving the site.

'This stupid girl didn't listen to a single thing. I said she only had one job to do: to not fall in love.'I thought as I walked away angrily.

Now, all my plants are to a single thing. I said she's all over that stupid little Prince. How unfortunate of her to know that it won't last long.

I know very well I didn't receive an invitation for tonight, and I could care less. I only showed up to see how the tension was going.

However, having only been here for a short time, I can see that everything seems to be going terribly on my part.

This is because there is too much joythere'stoo muchcelebration going on everywhere.

I understand it is a holiday, but they seem to be having too much joy, and that could only mean one thing.

They must have found a way to prove King Hugo's innocence, which enraged me.

They didn't have to tell me anything, but the Prince and Rosalie seemed so confident, which tells me I needed to prepare myself.

The child was said to be two days after Wassalia Day, which means I didn't havea lot oftime, but I had just enough for the next part of the plan.

Quickly, without anybody realizing it, I hopped inside my carriage and headed for the kingdom of Aragon. I needed to see Lyvot urgently.

Apart from getting him in trouble, I needed to show him he could count on me even though he'd be sinking by himself for being so careless and stupid.

However, he had two keys that I needed to ensure that I could create tension between my daughter and the Prince these last couple of days.

Once I arrived in the kingdom of Aragon, I was greeted by their guard. He let me in without trouble, and within minutes, I was seeing my dear old friend, King Lyvot.

"Ah, my dear friend Ricardo, what do I owe this pleasure? You know it is a holiday,"he said, and I couldn't help but slightly chuckle.

"It may be a holiday for you, but not for me. Especially if I'm very close to getting what I want,"I said as he raised his eyebrow.

"What can I help you with, my dear friend?"he asked as I began to tell him what I suspected.

"No, I don't think those idiots figured it out, but if that's the case, we need to do something to protect our behind,"he said as he nodded.

"I agree; I think it's time we take high measures and try to visit Lady Malorie,"I said as he thought for a moment.

"That wouldn't be a bad idea. The only problem is we don't know where she's at,"he said as I silently chuckled.

"Do you really think I wouldn't know where she is at? There's not a place in the world where she can't hide from me,"I said as Lyvot looked confused.

"I don't understand. Do you know where she is?"he asked, confused, as I smiled and nodded.

"It wouldn't be that hard to track her down. All I need is a few simple questions answered, and I think you can help me with that,"I said, as he nodded slightly, still not understanding.

"Where was Lady Malorie originally born?"I asked as he thought for a moment.

"Hermother moved to my kingdom a couple of years ago after her father's passing away,"he said as I nodded.

"What kingdom did they come from?"I asked as he thought for a moment.

"I think it might have been Enchancia. I do know they have family in another kingdom, but I am not so certain which one it is,"he said as I nodded.

"Do you know if their castle is deserted by any chance?"I asked as he thought for a moment.

"It must be since I haven't seen any of them since Ben's disappearance; they went with another family,"he said as I nodded.

"That is all I need to know. I will take care of it from here and let you know what we do next,"I said as he nodded.

"Oh, and one more thing: When we are called for the trial in two days, I need you to do me a favor,"I said as he quickly nodded.

"Of course, my dear friend, anything you need. What is it that you want me to do?"he asked as I came across his family portrait.

"I need you to bring your children along,"I said, as he looked at me confused.

"Why?"he askedconfusedas I smiled at him.

"I think it's about time your son Eleazar meets with my daughter Rosalie again; I mean, they are going to be betrothed soon,"Isaid,as he smiled.

"As for your daughter, she could meet a potential prince since there's going to be so many of them,"I said as he nodded.

"Although, I do appreciate the thought for my daughter. I don't think she'll settle for just anyone,"he said as I smirked at him.

"And who said she was going to settle? If she doesn't, then that's fine. I just need her to work a little bit of magic,"I said as he chuckled.

"Let me guess. Your daughter fell in love with the boy, and now you want to use my daughter as a brick wall,"he said as I looked at him, shocked.

"What? No! Of course not. Why would I use your daughter for that when I can have your son try to win my daughter's heart"? I said as he thought for a moment.

"You do make a valid point, but do tell me, do you really think your daughter will fall for my son?"he asked me, chuckling.

"Rosalie is young and doesn't know any better. She thinks she may have feelings for this stupid Prince, but I know deep down. It's just an illusion for her,"I said as he thought momentarily.

"Rosalie has never been out. She feels like she's getting control of her life andis able todo anything she wants. I don't mind letting her believe that just for a moment,"I said, as he looked at me confused.

"How come?"He asked as I smirked.

"Because it will be even more fun when I take it all away, and I see her being crushed like her hopes and dreams,"I said as he looked at me shocked.

"Don't you feel a bit of sympathy for your daughter? I mean, she is your only daughter,"he said, chuckling.

"No, my dear friend. In this world, you can't have your feelings involved in any way, or they will be the reason for your downfall,"I said as he thought.

"Trust me when I say you're better off not even caring for your children,"I said before turning around to face him.

"Do we have an understanding?"I asked him as he nodded.

"Then I will see you in two days and don't worry about Lady Malorie. I will make sure she stays silent,"I said as I exited the castle.

"I'll make sure of it,"I said very low as I got into my carriage and headed towards my kingdom.

Upon returning to my kingdom, Imade a quick stopat Duke Ben and Lady Malorie's castle to grab a couple of things.

I could easily torture Duke of Ben and have him give me the whereabouts of where his wife could be. However, that wastes time because I know he won't tell me.

Which means I have to use other resources. Unfortunately, I am not a wizard, but I have one working for me.

I head over to my sorcerer's office with something from Lady Malorie, hoping he could easily cast a spell that could find her using an item of hers.

He quickly put a spell on the scarf, and I could see a cloud showing me where she was hiding.

As I looked around the small village, I couldn't help but remember the kingdom Lyvot had mentioned before.

"It's Enchancia,"I said as my sorcerer nodded.

"Correct, your majesty. There is where Lady Malorie seems to be hiding,"said my sorcerer as I smirked and nodded.

'Get ready, Lady Malorie, I am coming for you,' I said as I continued to look at the cloud before setting out to get her.
