Tilly woke with a yawn as she stretched, cracking her neck a bit before getting out of bed. She had slept quite well, not that she had many bad nights of sleep. Hopping out of bed she went about going to fixing some coffee and some breakfast before getting ready for work. One of the things she wanted to make sure she did when she got there was talk to Asmodeus...if he was there today and not his other, main, building where he took care of business and developed all sorts of lust focused items. If he was, she was going to make sure that Asmodeus made it clear that Typhus could be allowed in without waiting in line.
It had been an easy enough thing to do with Havoc since the hellhound had practically saved Lavender and Paradise. She would include herself in that count, but she had been holding her own and would have kicked the asses of those jerks, but she wasn't really going to not accept help when offered, Besides, Lavender and Paradise took to him quickly so who was she to just get in the way of it? Havoc was a decent guy, bit of a smug smart ass bastard, but a nice guy all things considered. Dealing with him was like dealing with her brother, annoying to a degree...but fun.
Then there was Typhus, the poor thing seemed so meek and timid, Tilly could hardly believe someone so nice and kind natured would be working for a business like HOUND. Not that someone like him couldn't, she knew someone of a slightly similar disposition who was a paid to kill "professional", not to mention Hex...albeit he was the more serious type. It was just something she found rather surprising, even if he was just a receptionist. The fact he really wanted to be of more help to HOUND by getting to where he could be out in the field was admirable and endearing to her. He really was sweet and considerate, wanting to be as helpful as could be, it just made Tilly wonder even more why he had all those scars and the damaged eye, how could anyone want to hurt someone that nice?
Those were questions for later, right now she had to get to work. Last thing she wanted was to give Fizzarolli any excuse to say he was a better star performer. The two always had some sort of rivalry since she started working at Ozzie's as a waitress and show girl, but ever since she became a soloist the rivalry grew. She swore that Fizz was like an annoying younger brother who thought he was better at everything. At least Asmodeus was reasonable despite being the sin of lust and true to that sentiment in every since, which shocked Tilly at first considering he was one of the rulers of Hell itself. The fact alone that he had let her get away with teaching creeps lessons when she had stated not to touch her was surprising.
After she finished getting ready Tilly headed out of her apartment and began her now routine walk to work, mentally preparing herself for having to deal with Fizz if he decided to try and start anything. Of course Jesse might not care either way and she could probably just tell him to start letting Typhus in when he sees him, but the imp/succubus hybrid was a stickler for rules and didn't like the idea of doing anything without Asmodeus' say so. At leas it was a nice day out, not that there were any real dreary days, Lust always seemed to be in a just the right state to fit with what it's ruler was all about.
As Tilly made it to Ozzie's she waved to Jesse. "Hey Jesse, Asmodeus here or at his other place?" She greeted.
"Hey Tilly." Jesse greeted back. "He should be. Although I don't really ever know when he leaves, or even arrives sometimes."
"Thanks." Tilly said before walking in and through the club, making her way through it and into the back area to where Asmodeus' private room was. "Asmodeus, you there?" Tilly asked as she knocked on the door.
"I am, come right on in Tilly." Came Asmodeus' typically rather upbeat voice from the other side, the door opening right after to allow Tilly to enter before it shut behind her. Asmodeus was standing near a mirror, straightening his outfit with some help from Fizzarolli, he looked...far more rooster like. His head now exactly like that of what most Goetia were like with a yellow beak and head structure exactly like that of a rooster, the blue mane of his now reshaped to be nore elegant like the bird and to also be along his entire neck, Asmodeus even had a wattle hanging off the left side of his...face...beak?
His shoes also were now clawed much like the aforementioned bird to accommodate what Tilly assumed were new feet. Hell, they could be his actual feet for all she knew. "Is there something my star soloist needs or wants to talk about?" Asmodeus asked as he looked at her.
Tilly blinked as she looked at the sin in confused bewilderment. "Uh...why do you…"
"Hmm?" Asmodeus asked. "Oh! I'm going to a meet up with some of the higher ups of the Ars Goetia, figured I'd fit in a bit more since I am a part of their order, when in Rome and all that. I might be a bit of a showman, but I also like to look my association when needed."
"Fair enough I suppose…" Tilly mused.
"Plus now he's a big cock with a big cock!" Fizz grinned as he made sure the finishing touches were done.
Tilly rolled her eyes as she slightly frowned. "Anyway, I was wondering if you could allow someone to have the same permission as Havoc."
Asmodeus and Fizz blinked before looking at her. "Is this for a special someone?" Asmodeus asked as he and Fizzarolli looked at her with curious interest.
"No." Tilly said bluntly as she frowned more. "It's for a friend, he's a coworker of Havoc's."
Asmodeus arched a brow as he leaned in close. "A friend hmm?"
"I will rip that beak off and shove it up your ass." Tilly threatened, Asmodeus smirking as he arched a brow. "In a bad way."
"Got it." Asmodeus chuckled.
"Why so defensive, you afraid we-" Before Fizz could finish Tilly punched him right in the face, knocking him out.
"We can't just keep allowing exceptions Tilly. Havoc was a special case because Lavender and Paradise took a liking to him and he was coming by to check up on them. And you know how picky and intelligent those girls are. For them to be so smitten to bug me until I caved, I couldn't exactly deny the lust and longing they had. Plus, I did owe Havoc for helping you and them out." Asmodeus explained as he placed Fizzarolli gently on a lounging couch. "Just because this person is a friend of yours and an associate of Havoc's doesn't mean I can give the same privilege."
"Please?" Tilly asked. "You know I don't ask for favors like this, or am one to just try and use my status as your soloist to get things."
"And why are you so insistent on me allowing this exception?" Asmodeus asked as he crossed his arms.
"He's a really nice guy, very gentle, doesn't really get out much to do things. I just...I want to give him more to do." Tilly responded, her expression softening. "I feel like he's gone through so much, he's so meek and eager to help that I…just want to give him something good, something more than what little he has."
Asmodeus looked at her a moment, before smiling. "Very well, I'll tell Jesse that…"
"Typhus." Tilly informed.
"Typhus is free to come in without reservation or need to wait in line." Asmodeus finished.
Tilly smiled as she looked at him. "Thanks." She said before walking out to get ready for work.
Asmodeus continued to smile as the door shut, the expression becoming more of optimistically hopeful and somewhat knowing smirk. Tilly was indeed one of his better employees, on par with Fizzarolli when it came to entertaining, and had the alluring looks that he liked to have in his club. So he saw her as somewhat deserving of some light spoiling, After all, in a way, a lot of his employees and those under him were like children to him.
Typhus sat at his desk as always, making sure to take calls and greet any clients that came through the door to hire HOUND for their services. He had continued to hope that things didn't get too busy to the point where it was hard to accept a job. Granted they did get that busy at times before Carnavont got hurt, but now that he was and recovering they couldn't take as many jobs as before until he recovered. Typhus still felt guilt for this state of affairs, even though everyone including Carnavont himself it was all on him. It didn't stop Typhus though from wondering if Carnavont would have been OK had he been able to join him. Granted Carnavont didn't accept any payment when offered Rescuing Stolas as a job, but he did it as a favor...for him.
The hellhound sighed, that was what made him feel all the more guilty. This was an unofficial rescue job, interfering with a fellow assassin without pay, all as a favor for him. Typhus knew the others would tell him to get over it and to stop being in his head, but that's just how he was, he didn't want to be the reason someone got hurt...ever.
Typhus' train of thought then shifted to Tilly, the imp he got to meet the other day thanks to Havoc. She was...nice, very nice, and...Typhus blinked as he felt the same sensation as when he met Tilly, the increasing of his heart rate, the nervousness, the...fluttery feeling in his stomach? What the heck was this? He had no real experience with anything outside of his interactions with his coworkers, Octavia, the people at stores, the occasional restaurant, concert workers, and the people at the banks in greed. He kept mostly to himself and his interactions were few and routine, maybe Zever might know something…
As the morning went on there were few jobs that were coming in, a bit of a slower day than yesterday which was good in his opinion. When it came time for the day's lunch break Typhus Looked over at Zever as he was walking towards the door. "Hey Zever…"
"Yes?" Zever asked as he looked towards Typhus.
"Do you have a minute?" Typhus asked. "That is, if you wouldn't mind...I kind of have a question."
Zever blinked. "I wouldn't mind. Although if you have a question I'm sure Carnavont or Destra could answer better than I could."
And I couldn't?" Havoc asked as he was heading to the door to leave for lunch.
"Depending on what Typhus needs to ask I'm not sure you're the best source of wise advice." Zever said bluntly.
"Eh, I suppose that's fair." Havoc shrugged before walking out the door to go get lunch.
"I, kinda want advice from you." Typhus revealed as he rubbed his robotic arm. "It's uh...something I'm not sure Carnavont or Destra could answer. Well, maybe Destra, but I'm not sure if it could wait until she's back from her assignment."
Carnavont arched a brow as he looked at Typhus. "Is it urgent?"
"I...not really?" Typhus answered. "It's just...something I think Zever might be able to help with more...no offense sir"
Carnavont nodded. "None taken, see you after lunch." The crimson hellhound said as he left the office to get some food.
"So, what is it you need to ask me?" Zever asked as he walked over to Typhus.
"Well, it's...I…" Typhus blushed. "How do you know if you like someone?"
Zever blinked as he looked at the younger hellhound. "How do...are you sure this isn't something you shouldn't be asking Carnavont or Destra?"
"I mean...maybe Destra could give me advice, but you've had as much experience with...feelings of liking someone as she has, what with you and Sinder…" Typhus replied as he rubbed his arm again. "I...I've never really known what liking someone feels like. Actually, I only just two days ago felt...angry."
Zever blinked again. "You mean to tell me you haven't experienced what it's like to have a crush or be angry before?"
Typhus held his robotic arm as he looked away. "...No"
Zever just looked at Typhus, he had been told a brief and what was only necessary version of what Typhus' life was like before HOUND by Carnavont just like the others, but what the actual hell was Typhu' personality before Carnavont? To be that unknowing of what emotions were like and how to tell which was which at his age was something that...gave unsettling implications. Granted, not everyone knew when they liked somebody, but when it came to Typhus, the way he asked it was more like he wanted to know what the feeling was like a pup wanted to know what it was like to know when you were hungry.
"Is this...in regards to Octavia?" Zever asked as his expression softened a bit, the fact alone that he could look not as professional surprised Typhus somewhat.
"No…" Typhus answered.
"No?" Zever queried, an eyebrow arching. "From what I and the others gathered we thought…"
"I...I'm not exactly sure how I feel." Typhus answered. "How do you even know when you like someone? What's it like?"
Zever sighed, this was going to be like teaching a pup the way of how he's starting to feel towards certain others. "One moment." He said before opening a portal to the front of a cafe, stepping through to go get him some food, soon returning with two sandwiches a few minutes later. "Follow me." He said as he started towards the armory, Typhus following behind them. When they had entered Zever went and placed his sandwich at the practice range, tossing the other to Typhus.
Typhus blinked as he caught the sandwich. "You don't have to…"
"I figured that depending on how long this takes we could spend the rest of our lunch practicing your melee skills." Zever said simply. "Now, tell me, how do you feel towards Octavia?" He asked. "How can you describe it?"
"I...uh...well." Typhus blinked as he thought. "I guess...I kinda feel…" He paused. "I know I feel happy, kinda like how I feel around you guys...I think?"
"You think or you know?" Zever inquired.
"I mean...She's cute? I like to be around her…" Typhus replied.
"But is there more to that, something that seems more strong?" Zever continued to ask.
"I…" Typhus paused. "no? I mean she sent me a text the other day thanking me for being a good friend and that she was grateful that I've been there for her. I...felt a bit weird at first? But then I was...happy that she saw me as a friend."
Zever nodded, getting a better understanding. "Then that means you likely might have confused finding a new friend you're happy to have with a crush."
"I see...is that normal?" Typhus asked.
Zever blinked as he looked at the younger hellhound. "Not typically no. I'm not saying confusing certain emotions can't happen, but it's not common."
"Ah." Typhus nodded as he slightly blushed. "Then...what if your heart starts to...feel like it's going to come out of your chest and you feel like your knees are about to give in?"
"That, that is a sign that you are interested in someone romantically and likely have a crush." Zever explained. "It's not often that extreme, but it does fall along the lines of finding someone rather very appealing. With me and Sinder we were always just that close. So when she asked if I just wanted to go for it I agreed and the rest is history. Not everyone feels week kneed, sweaty, dry mouthed, or gets overly nervous or giddy. Some don't really show it much, but the feeling's still the same."
"I see…" Typhus remarked as he took a bite of his sandwich.
"Feelings can be complicated." Zever remarked.
"Seems like it…" Typhus mused as he looked down at his sandwich.
"Is there someone that's made you feel this way?" Zever asked curiously as he went to look through the practice knives.
"Yes?" Typhus replied. "I mean, yes…But I...I'm not completely sure? It kinda feels like it but I also don't want to assume anything."
Zever nodded as he picked out two practice knives. "So what do you intend to do once you're fully sure?"
"...I uh...I don't know yet?" Typhus meekly replied. "I mean, she's really kind, very nice too. But uh...I'm not sure when would be a good time to mention anything, I want to...not inconvenience her or anything. I actually wasn't really thinking of ever bringing it up...After all, I'm not exactly...whole."
Zever narrowed his eyes as he looked at Typhus. "You're not going to inconvenience anyone just by admitting feelings Typhus." Zever remarked as he walked over to the younger hellhound and offered him a practice knife. "And you're not broken."
"But...I am." Typhus said as his ears folded and he looked off to the side. "I can't even make good progress with this training, inconveniencing you and the others, let alone…" Typhus grabbed his arm. "Other things..."
Zever narrowed his eyes. "You are not a failure, broken, an inconvenience, or anything less than demon." Zever said sternly yet warmly. "You've made some progress, admittedly not much, but some. And this is never going to be something me or the others don't want to do. We want to help you Typhus, we can see your potential. Sometimes it just takes the right motivation or time and we got plenty of that."
Typhus smiled slightly as he took the knife, ears perking up slightly. "Thank you…"
Zever warmly half smiled. "You're welcome Typhus. Now, do you have a plan for what you're going to do about this girl you like?"
"...not yet, but I wasn't exactly planning on doing anything." Typhus admitted.
"My advice…" Zever said as he showed off a strike slowly, making sure that Typhus watched. "Do what you think and feel is best, but don't let an opportunity pass if one shows up and you think there are strong signs of mutual interest. Like Millie said, be you and you should be fine."
Typhus nodded. "Alright...thanks Zever."
"No problem." Zever replied with a faint smile. "Now then, see if you can repeat what I just showed you."
"A-alright." Typhus said before trying to do what Zever showed him, but didn't quite do it exactly.
"Good, but your form is still sloppy. You need to be firmer with it, have the intent to incapacitate or kill." Zever advised. "Try again."
"S-sorry…" Typhus apologized.
"No need to apologize, you just need to keep trying to improve, find that motivation and spark." Zever reassured. "It may take time, but you will get there eventually, no matter how long it takes."
"But-"
"Don't start Typhus." Zever interrupted. "We are willing to take as long as needed to get you there."
"But what if I never? What if I waste-"
"You will NEVER waste our time." Zever interrupted again as he looked at the younger hellhound sternly. "Even if you might not get to where we are, we will never regret trying to help or spending time with you."
Typhus smiled as his tail started to wag. "Thank you…"
"Anytime." Zever slightly smiled. "Now, let's try it again then go through some hand to hand techniques."
Typhus spent the rest of his lunch break with Zever as the other hellhound continued to help him try to get the hang of close quarters combat and some hand to hand. As it had been going since Typhus had shown a desire to do so, it was slow. What progress Typhus showed was mall at best, as it had been clear from the day his training had started he had no real inkling of what fighting was like. Still, despite the apologies Typhus gave to Zever, the older hellhound just slightly smiled and reassured him that it wasn't a bother and that any progress he was able to make was good progress.
The younger hellhound still felt bad though, it had been so long since his training had started and he still could barely show anything for it. It was nice that the others assured him it was fine and even politely mentioned that not every hellhound was meant to fight. And while that was true, he wanted to be stronger, to not be a burden, to not be...nothing.
The rest of the day went by smoothly, business picked up a little bit but not to where it was unmanageable. When it came time to close for the day and everyone was heading off Typhus looked over to Havoc as he walked by. "Hey Havoc…"
"What's up?" Havoc asked as he turned to look at Typhus.
"You heading to Lust to see your girlfriends?" Typhus asked.
"Not tonight, I like to give them their space." Havoc replied. "Don't want to smother them ya know?"
"I see, you really are considerate." Typhus said as he smiled.
Havoc chuckled a bit as he grinned. "You know it, I just got that charm you know?"
"He has charm?" Zever remarked.
"That's what I'm wondering." Destra teased.
"I think he's talking about that dumb luck he has." Xera snickered.
"Sounds like you're jealous of my game." Havoc retorted with a smirk.
"I'll let you know when I am." Xera replied, snickering a bit more as Zever rolled his eyes.
"Likewise." Destra said as she smirked.
"Anyway, later!" Havoc said as he walked out, followed shortly by Destra and Xera.
"You heading out Typhus?" Carnavont asked as walked by the hellhound's desk.
"Yeah, fixing to lock up the office." Typhus replied.
Carnavont nodded as he smiled. "Have a good night and take care."
"You too sir." Typhus smiled.
"What have we talked about Typhus?" Carnavont asked as he looked at the younger hellhound.
"Sorry...still a habit." Typhus apologized.
"It's fine, just keep working on it." Carnavont said as he headed out. "See you tomorrow Typhus."
After Carnavont had left Typhus did a few odds and ends before locking up the office and heading out. Walking outside of the building the hellhound opened up a portal to the lust ring, walking through it as and making his way towards Ozzie's as it closed behind him. Typhus was anxious yet excited, while he was looking forward to seeing Tilly again he was also worried about annoying or bothering her. Sure she had offered to let him walk her home regularly, but he didn't want to be a burden or anything. She was nice, and he found her to be...beautiful. But someone like her was well beyond him, he would just be happy to be around her, spend time with her. But maybe...maybe it wouldn't hurt for him to hope there might be a chance, at least given time...would that be so wrong? For now though he would just enjoy being around her, enjoy being in that light that she seemed to give off.
Typhus made his way through the streets to Ozzie's, keeping his eyes mainly to right in front of him, not really wanting to accidentally see anything like last time, even if it was likely the norm for the ring. As he got to Ozzie's Typhus was about to head to the back of the line when Jesse noticed him. "Typhus right?" the hybrid asked.
Typhus blinked, looking to Jesse as he stopped. "Yeah?"
"Orders from Asmodeus, you can come on in since you're going to be escorting Tilly home." The imp/succubus hybrid informed.
Typhus blinked again before walking over to the hybrid. "Really?"
"Yeah." Jesse said as he unhooked the rope. "You don't need to stand in line."
"A-alright...thank you." Typhus said as he made his way into the lounge, walking past the entrance area and entering into the main lounge room.
As Typhus was walking through the main room of the establishment Lavender and Paradise flew down from their cages. "Typhus, glad to see you!" Lavender greeted with a warm smile. "What brings you by?"
"H-hi." Typhus greeted shyly. "I'm...here to see Tilly and walk her home. She offered to lt me do so…"
"Awe, how sweet!" Paradise said, smiling as well. "It has been a while since she had anyone walk her home when Hex got busy."
"It also explains why Asmodeus had Jesse meet him earlier." Lavender remarked.
"How's your day been by the way Typhus, how's Havoc?" Paradise inquired.
"It's been good, and he's doing alright, still...him." Typhus replied, the two candlehead demons chuckling.
"Good to hear, sometimes we worry if he might get a bit in over his head." Lavender said as she folded her arms.
"Yeah." Paradise echoed. "The guy's a sweetheart and skilled, but he does seem to be the type that might overestimate his chances."
Lavender nodded. "And we'd hate to hear if anything happened to him, even if that confidence of his and one of the things we love about him." She commented.
Typhus smiled as he looked at the two. "You really do love him don't you?"
"Of course." Paradise smiled. "He's exciting and daring. Others might find him a bit of a...bastard, but he's genuinely thoughtful and a gentleman and we appreciate that."
Lavender smirked. "Despite how we may act around him or while on the job at times, we do have standards and aren't easy, Asmodeus doesn't like ditsy floozies working in his personal establishment."
Typhus let out a bashful chuckle. "He's lucky to have you two."
"And he knows it." Paradise smirked as she winked.
"Anyway we gotta get back to work." Lavender commented as she and Paradise turned to leave. "Nice to see you Typhus and hope to keep seeing you." Lavender added before she and Paradise flew back up and into their overhead cages.
Typhus smiled a bit as he watched the two fly up, everyone who worked at Ozzie's seemed to be rather nice. As he walked through the lounge he spotted a table near the stage for him to sit at, going over to sit as he didn't want to presume he could go ahead and say hello to Tilly. As he sat and waited Crane came over to him, a smile on her face. "Hello again Typhus." She greeted.
"H-hello." The hellhound greeted.
"Here to see Tilly or you thinking about taking up my offer of getting you off?" The imp smirked.
Typhus turned dark red. "H-here to see Tilly…"
Crane chuckled a bit. "I knew you were, but couldn't resist. Although that doesn't mean the offer's not on the table if you're ever wanting a good first experience." She winked.
"I-I'm...g-good...T-thank you t-though…" Typhus said as he got more flustered.
The imp giggled as she looked at him. "Nice guys like you are rare to come by here, it's why I offer. But I understand. That, and I'm mostly just joking...mostly." She said with a warm smile. "By the way, boss says you're free to go back and meet Tilly whenever you want."
Typhus blinked as he looked at Crane. "R-really?"
"Yeah, and that's saying something considering how strict he is with procedures and his rules." Crane said as she continued to smile. "So I'd take advantage of that freedom if I were you."
"O-okay…" Typhus said as he got up.
"Have fun~." Crane teased.
Typhus got flustered as he turned dark red. "B-but-"
"I'm teasing hun." Crane giggled. "Treat her well alright? Tilly could use your kind of kindness." The imp said before walking off.
Typhus blinked a bit, confused as to what Crane meant as Tilly seemed so strong that nothing could phase her, untouchable. As he got to where Tilly's changing room Typhus hesitated a moment before knocking. "Yes?" Came Tilly's voice.
"It's Typhus…" Typhus announced.
There was a moment before the door to her changing room opened. "Typhus, good to see you." Tilly greeted warmly as she smiled, she was dressed in her singers attire he had seen her in the other day, the little heart with three feathers that accessorized her hair made her seem all the more...stunning.
Typhus tried his best to hide the blush that was trying to form. "G-good to see you too…" He greeted back slightly shakily. "I just figured I'd...say hello and let you know I'm here…" Typhus added. "I mean, I was just going to wait and sit at a table and you'd probably would have-"
Tilly chuckled a bit. "It's alright Typhus, I don't mind you coming back to see me before I get off work." She reassured. "Asmodeus already informed me that he was fine with you doing so and I really don't mind."
"O-oh...okay." Typhus blushed.
"But I'm glad you showed up, I hope you enjoy yourself before it's time to walk me home." Tilly said warmly as she continued to smile. "And you're always free to come back and hang out before I go on stage if you want, no need to feel like you can't."
Typhus smiled as his tail started to wag a bit, his ears perking up slightly. "A-alright. But I think I'll just go back to a table for now...don't want to distract you any...See you when you're off work. Or, well, when you're singing." He said before starting back to the main lounge.
Tilly giggled slightly. "See you in a bit Typhus." She said before shutting the door. The hellhound continued to be just too sweet and considerate. Given as similar freedom Tilly was sure at least most would try to press their luck a little or at the very least not turn down the opportunity to just be around her, especially some of the...creeps that visited Ozzie's. Not Typhus though, she could easily tell that he would never try anything or push his luck. Maybe that was why she felt rather comfortable around him, the fact she knew he was just incapable of being weird or would try anything.
She also knew someone as timid as he was would likely take a while to feel comfortable about opening up to reveal anything, so she wasn't about to ask him about where his injuries might of come from, not yet. But she dreaded what she might hear what caused them, unsure if she really wanted to fully know the story behind those scars. Still, the curiosity gnawed at the back of her mind because of who Typhus was and how meek and timid he acted. Sighing, Tilly finished up getting ready for her performance, putting her full attention to it as she wasn't about to let Fizzarolli be able to say anything about her not doing as good. When it was time for her to go one she gave one last look in the mirror, making sure everything was just right before walking out and heading on stage.
Typhus watched as Tilly walked on stage, his attention fully on her, much like a number of the patrons as they watched her get ready to perform. And as she did, Typhus and a vast number of patrons became enthralled by her singing. Tilly was as captivating in her singing as she was with her looks; at least, to Typhus she was. She just seemed to be like a brilliant light, something unlike anything he had ever seen, something someone like him was unworthy.
After Tilly had finished her final performance for the night and it became time for her to get off work Typhus headed back to meet her at her dressing room, knocking on the door. "Hey Tilly, I'll just wait outside till you're ready…" The hellhound said as he let her know he was there.
"Alright, just give me a few minutes, but I am decent for you to come in." Tilly offered.
"I don't want to make you feel rushed or intrude, I'll just wait outside…" Typhus replied, not wanting to overstep.
"You're really sweet, but I really don't mind since I'm done changing." Tilly insisted.
Typhus hesitated a moment before replying. "A-alright." He said before opening the door and stepping in, going to stand off to the side near the door. "You...had a very nice performance." Typhus added, his voice somewhat shy and meek.
Tilly smiled as she put up a few thing. "Thanks, I do try my best. Plus I do like showing Fizz what real singing is like." She chuckled.
"Well...you're an amazing singer." Typhus commented as he slightly blushed.
"You're sweet to say that, thank you." Tilly replied as she continued to smile, moving to get her purse before walking over to him. "Alright, I'm all set."
"OK…" Typhus said with a very slight smile before going to open the door for her.
"Thank you Typhus, but you don't have to." Tilly said as she walked out.
"I want to though…" Typhus said as he followed behind her.
"You really are too sweet." Tilly remarked as she glanced back at him.
Typhus' tail began to wag a bit as he perked up, smiling a bit. "T-thank you…"
The two made there way out of Ozzie's, Tilly saying goodnight to Jesse as they walked out and started down the street. As they walked the two talked about how their day went and what was in store for them tomorrow. Tilly thought about trying to ask about his scars, but resisted the urge, it was still too soon to inquire about them. As he had done the other day Typhus made sure to keep just enough distance from Tilly, seemingly too shy or just not wanting her to feel in any way uncomfortable. He really was a considerate hellhound, and because of that Tilly found herself appreciating him and just feeling she could trust him.
Which was something to say, as she was not one to trust easy. There was just something about Typhus that made her feel comfortable around him enough to trust. She was always good at reading others, and from what she was reading from him, she could tell he would never be capable of doing anything she wouldn't like or make her uncomfortable….unlike certain creeps or patrons at Ozzie's. He was just...special like that she guessed.
When they finally got to her apartment and she was about to enter she turned to look at Typhus. "See you tomorrow?" Tilly asked.
Typhus blinked as he looked at her. "You...really want me to?"
Tilly smiled warmly at the hellhound. "I meant what I said about walking me home more, I like your company and I don't mind it being a daily thing, that includes helping out if I need it at Ozzie's or elsewhere."
Typhus' tail started to wag more as he blushed, a smile forming on his face that was a bit more than what he had shown prior. "T-then yes."
"Good." Tilly said as she continued to smile. "Have a good night Typhus."
"You too Tilly." Typhus said before walking off.
As Typhus walked off Tilly watched, her eyes moving to the wrappings on his legs, one lower where his ankle was on his right leg and one under his knee on his left leg. She had noticed them before, but thought they were just a thing he did for style. But as Tilly thought about it, that didn't really make sense...were they bandages? If so...why did he need to wear them? What in the name of Satan might be under them that would still require bandages if they were a regular thing and been something he wore as long as those scars he had?
Tilly shuddered to think what might be under those wrappings, unsure if she really wanted to ever know because if it was as bad as she might fear...her heart might break from it. He was too sweet, too kind, too...everything right. Tilly sighed, turning to head into her apartment, nobody that considerate and nice deserved to suffer. And because he was so nice, Tilly found herself truly not minding being around him more due to how comfortable she felt around him. It wasn't like there was going to be anything more happening after all, despite what Asmodeus and Fizz insinuated, she just wanted to help Typhus was all...
