The group pushed deeper into the dungeon, veering off course from what Narcisse originally laid out. Olivia did the cooking, to be more accurate she was the one who manipulated the genetic information of soil bacteria and molds growing in the dungeon to produce edible plants and mushrooms, which Noelle and Louise then manipulated with their affinity for plants to make them grow, Leon then used that to supplement the food that they brought with them. Like this the group had managed to extend their food supply, but at the cost of their mana supply, so plans were in place to top them off. That said, as Livia was working and then getting herself ready there was a matter that Angelica needed help with.

"I feel like I shouldn't have to tell you how annoyed I am." Angelica had stripped down, the only saving grace for her modesty was the wet sheets of paper that were applied to her body. Nick had the foresight to realise that Leon lacked his artistic talents, so he simplified the process, mixing together the Henna paint like a potion, applying it to paper, and instructing Angelica how to transfer the skin stain to herself. Aside from the skin stain Angelica also had several piercings around her body, made from her own catalyst crystals, the jewelled studs, rings and chains acting as bridges connecting the points where Angelica had damaged her mana circuit while the surrounding henna stabilised it.

"About this?" Leon asked indicating Angelica's body that had been thoroughly decorated.

"Leon this is the most intimate that we've been in over a month, you are assisting me in a medical procedure in which you paint me like a common whore, and after you're done you're going to go plow Livia senseless." Angelica listed her problems in simple terms. "The first time we have something remotely resembling a normal date I get passed onto your new squeeze while you go and play with the others." Angelica did enjoy herself, but it still stung.

"Yeah... romance is not something I'm good at." Leon confessed after an awkward scratch to the back of his head.

"Which is why I'm afraid I'm going to have to set rules." Angelica didn't want to do it, it felt kind of pathetic she had to do it, but she felt she had to for the sake of her mental health. Leon suspected he was not going to like this one bit. "Firstly, since you seem to have a bad habit of picking up women when I'm not looking, I'm putting down a hard limit on how many you can have." Leon showed only confusion to that statement.

"I'm getting more?" Leon did not look happy at that statement.

"Louise." Angelica started off.

"Is my cousin, genetically speaking, my half sister." Now Angelica looked confused. "Ask Livia about it later."

Continuing on with her original point.

"Deidre."

"I don't even know where she came from!"

"Hertrude."

"She tried to kill me!"

"Noelle!"

"Friends! I assure you!"

"Mmm hmm." Angelica didn't look like she believed him. But considering she has Roland as a role model she felt compelled to make sure that Leon didn't try to sire half the capital as Roland had been attempting to do. "That is flatly ignoring how many such women may be forced onto you for the sake of forging political ties." Angelica may not know how genetics work but she was aware of selective breeding, a child of a capable man had a good chance of being capable themselves, a child of a incompetent ran the risk of being incompetent themselves, aside from that avoid inbreeding, it makes the kids stupid and sickly just ask the Alzerans. Unfortunately Angelica had no shortage of the latter two she could call upon for examples and few examples of the first she could turn to. "You are a weapon of mass destruction." Angelica was not mincing words here. "Your manly seed is worth starting and ending wars over. Which leads me back to my original point. No more than seven at a time." Leon seemed more horrified at the notion of having to juggle seven relationships than anything else. "Which nicely leads into my next topic, I will have you to myself once a week in which we will do an activity together of my choosing, the same courtesy you will extend to Livia." Seven people, Angie has him to herself at least once a week. Sure that works, in theory. "Saturday will belong to myself, and Sunday to Livia. Clear?" And she even went ahead and picked out the two best days.

"Clarification." Leon had caught onto other parts here. "Considering the fact that you have generously left open five other slots besides yourself and Livia should I assume you plan on extending yourself the same courtesy?" Now Angelica looked taken aback.

"Do I look like Marie to you!?" Considering the well toned abs, succulent well developed and curvy body, and the fact that she looked like she crossed over to double digits quite some time ago? Couple that with the general hyper-competency and ability to earn actual wealth? "Not particularly. But it seems hypocritical of me to take all the benefits of this arrangement." Leon felt Angelica lighten up ever so slightly.

"To answer your question: you and Livia are the only ones I currently hold any romantic feelings for." Angelica wouldn't describe her sexuality as either straight, bent or forked. She found character more attractive than the shape of their sexual characteristics, though she would lie if she said that those didn't help. "As is the case with horse breeding scrutiny in child rearing usually falls on the mare instead of the stud. Sleeping around with only one man at a time means there's no doubt whose children I'm bearing." Marie for reference is probably going to spend a lot of time on a floating island far away from any other island with a most likely all female staff while seeing the individual members of her harem only once a year. "I have no intention of receiving the same reputation that Marie has worked so hard to earn!" Letting out a sigh Angelica remembered that she was doing something before she broke into a rant and so started peeling off the tattoo stickers that she had accumulated.

"Remember to let those dry before you get dressed." Leon commented as he took in Angelica's figure.

"Are you even paying attention!?" Angelica looked outraged as Leon suddenly stared off listlessly.

"Sorry! Sorry!" Leon knew he had to chose his words very carefully before he talked. "Just... the body art suits you."

"Meaning that I look like a painted whore at a freak show!" Angelica Harrumphed at what she perceived as open jeering.

"...each and every part of your body has been emphasised and drawn out." Leon knew Angie appreciates honesty. "Every line of your body leads from one place to another. My eyes are being actively encouraged to wander and drink up your figure and every time I see you I find something new." Leon simultaneously got to enjoy the feathers of the multi-coloured Phoenix that had wrapped its wings around her waist and thighs, the dragons that trailed up her arms and wrapped around her torso, and the magic circles around places better not mentioned. "You. Are. Beautiful. And I won't accept a word to the contrary, your features were a work of art to begin with, now they have been drawn up on and enhanced in ways few would think were possible." Angelica was taken aback and was forced to cough quietly into her hand to hide her blush.

"Sheba you're insufferable."

"Is everything alright here?" Olivia had entered the area that Leon and Angie had set up for their privacy. Olivia had been taking measures for the night with Leon, as a start she was wearing one of the eight foot man's shirts, which on her more modest 5 foot 4 figure looked more like a loose fitting night gown, if the light flush of her cheeks were any indication she had also been preparing herself in other ways too, probably using magic to stimulate her body. "You were taking so long I was worried about Angie." Olivia spoke with genuine concern and affection as she fell beside Angie.

"Setting hard rules for the future, before more women start following this lug of a husband of ours around like lost ducklings." Angelica explained as she continued to peel herself off.

"I like duckies." Olivia pouted like she disagreed with Angelica's metaphor, wrapping herself around Leon from behind in a hug.

"Do you disagree with my actions?" Angelica asked looking at Livia with a brow raised suspiciously. "The whole idea is weird to me." Livia rubbed her face on Leon's head. "My dad has one wife and my mom has one husband." Thus the common point of view. Most people can barely afford to raise one family let alone several, nobles are the ones constantly putting themselves at risk delving into dungeons, fighting monsters and participating in wars, so of course they have to work harder to pass on to the next generation. "I do know how I feel about you two though." That she supposed was what the important part was.

"As I thought." Angelica finished explaining the rules to Livia, used heat from her magic to dry out the stain on her skin, and had changed into her own night shirt.

"Is it really necessary to book days in advance?" Olivia pouted as it felt like her personal life was becoming more political. "Unfortunately we have a bad example of what happens when we let the husband neglect the wife and sleep around with as many women as he wants." Angelica let out a shiver at the thought of ending up like Mylene.

"I'm being compared to Roland now!?" Now Leon looked down right offended. "Roland is a bad example." Angelica stated as she pulled Leon in for an intimate hug. "How would you feel if we neglected you in favour of sleeping around with every person in the capital?"

"Huu. Point taken." Clearly Angie had lots of trauma to work through, not just her own. If Lea was held up to Leon as 'very bad, all around horrible life' to Leon then the same held true about Mylene to Angie.

"I like being with you two at once though." Olivia pouted her blush getting worse, clearly whatever horny magic she used on herself was getting worse the longer time went on. "I know you do." Angie held Olivia by her face as she pulled her in for a kiss. "As do I. And that's why we put the power to do so in our hands."

"So among the list of activities for your weekend plans, that includes 'hang out with each other.'" Leon brought up while he looked at the girls suspiciously.

"That's one word for it." Angelica gave a coy smile. "Lemme give you an example. Livia." The girl in question looked at Angelica, barely able to hold herself back anymore. "What do you want to do right now?"

"... what did you call it last time?" Olivia looked at Leon questioningly.

"...we've done a lot of poses Livia, but last time was Layer Cake I believe?" Suddenly Olivia pounced, knocking Angelica over from the seated position she had been in and holding her down, immediately Olivia's hands made their way through the sleeves of Angelica's sleepwear, finding where rings connected to bare flesh. Livia's mana flowed, endorphins adrenaline and other chemicals flowed as Angie's face blushed, Livia knew what a horny Angie's brain looked like and she was taking full advantage of that, letting her mana flow into Angelica's body as the the heiress made a 'oooh' sound from getting that close to an orgasm. In the mean time Livia's fingers found Angie's rings in the most interesting of places and played with them as Livia used her own legs to spread Angie's.

"Don't worry." Angie had started crying from the mixture of sensations that Olivia was sending through her body, overstimulating her, both of them really but Livia was in the state longer and had more time to get use to it. "I'll make sure that he pays us both plenty of love tonight." And as Olivia promised both girls sent out shrieks and moans for hours.

Hera: To the people of the Ancient world, Hera was both Queen and Mother of the Gods.

Hera is an incarnation of an older Goddess Gaia, who shed her physical form to form part of the World of Man, thus Hera rules over the Domain of Motherhood, Fertility and Nature and is Wife Queen to her Brother Zeus who is in turn a incarnation of another primordial being who contributed his form to the Trinity of Reality, Ouranos now Zeus.

Despite their celebrated marriage, Zeus like the storms he embodies wanders freely and strikes randomly, and Hera, like the nature she incarnates, tolerates no offence raised against her thus she is known as a being of vengeance as well.

Hera has arranged countless trials against the children of Zeus, few of them she has nursed herself, in one notable example while still a Infant the hero Heracles managed to injure Hera while sucking on her teat spreading her milk into the sky and forming the stars.

Thus Hera is also the Goddess of the Night and stars with many of her servants having been recorded in the sky as constellations to watch over her followers for all time.

Excerpt from the Hierarchy of Laguna

As ruler Mylene needed to know what horrors the Blackmores and their associates have brought into the capital, and while she had been counting on the various students of the academy to do the leg work Then it turns out that the Blackmores are more than willing to simply call in a favour and have half of the miserable creatures swapped out and suddenly any chance to simply quietly wait in the castle for information to come to her goes out the window. So Mylene entered the forest, alongside a select contingent of guards, and went straight for one of the four Angel boss rooms that the students had taken the liberty of mapping out in the weeks before. Inside was like no Boss room that Mylene had ever seen or heard of before, despite it having been the middle of the day before right now it was night time, surrounding Mylene and company was a beautiful forest with glowing fire flies providing light that was being reflected off of the trees leaves.

"Looks nicer than most dungeons." One of the Guard's commented lightly.

"That's because it's supposed to be a slice of paradise." Mylene stated with a sigh. "This place is literally made out of good memories."

It only made sense that the place looked good, it was probably plucked straight out of the mind of a nature lover of some kind. Mylene never understood the appeal herself, being a city girl and all, but even she saw beauty here. Now if only they can stay alive long enough to remember it. Suddenly a sound like a ringing bell echoed out, and all the trees shifted at once.

"A threat or a warning?" Mylene asked looking around the forest. Though she had no real appeal for the sport herself she was dressed in proper adventurer's gear today, because full dresses like she usually wears are not practical for the forest she came here through, let alone the one that she was in now. "Either way doesn't matter, follow me." Mylene thus led the way through the forest, paying no attention as the trees continued to move around, bird song echoed out as a large colourful bird appeared to block the group's path, immediately one of the men moved to shoot the animal with his cross bow.

"Edward tell me, is that an Angel?" Mylene let out an annoyed sigh.

"Doesn't look like one I've ever seen before." A different guard piped up, for one thing they usually favoured gold and white, with maybe some other colours thrown in when they felt particularly fancy, this bird had neither. "Too pretty to be a demon though." Mylene let out a sigh as she approached the question differently.

"Is it trying to attack us?" Mylene asked again while levelling a glare in her men's direction. The Bird, as if tired of being ignored, opened up its tail in a fan revealing various green and blue eyes that some of the men swore moved. After a few moments of nothing happening Mylene let out another sigh, swearing that these people were so bloody over protective. "It's probably part of the good memories that make up this place, it's no more dangerous than the trees or the fireflies!" Mylene paid the Peacock no mind as she walked right past it and continued on her way.

Other things made their presence known, most of them various birds, but eventually the group arrived at something different. A woman was lounging about on a couch on what looked like a patio, attached to a stone temple. Even despite the veil she was wearing, it was obvious that she was beautiful, with olive skin and a curvy figure, largely left exposed by clothing choices that could be more accurately described as a white curtain than anything else. She could easily be dismissed as part of the scenery like the Peacock she left such a feeling of indescribable beauty to the men gathered, but she was over sixteen feet tall.

"I thank you for not harming Argus." The peacock flew to the giant woman's side and nestled itself into her hair. "He gets into such a foul mood when he has to be resurrected." Mylene could understand that feeling, or at least felt like she did, she had a certain infirmed patient squatting in the castle and making demands like there was someone left in the capital that cared about his opinion.

"I know your pain." Mylene stated as she called upon a pain that went down to her very soul.

"So then, are you here to fight me like the other students?" The giant woman sat up, easily dwarfing the group even seated.

Mylene on the other hand had to mouth the words for a few moments before they clicked for her.

"I'm not a student." Mylene stated as she let out a sigh. "For saintess's sake I'm the mother of a young man in his second year at the Academy!" Technically, Julius was playing exchange student but for Mylene the point still stood. The Giant woman leaned forward, pulling up her veil and giving a clear look at her gorgeous features for the first time as she assessed Mylene.

"Yes. You've already had two children." And then the Goddess lowered her veil again as she leaned back into her seat. "I will choose to believe you." However for the goddess this raised new questions. "If you are not a student why are you here?" "Part of my responsibilities is figuring out if people have smuggled dangerous creatures into my country." Mylene explained bluntly. "Case in point: you."

"You're not wrong." The Goddess allowed being called 'a creature' slide. After all she hadn't even introduced herself yet. "I am Hera!" The giant woman stood to her full height. "Goddess of Nature and the Night Sky, and know that if you had brought harm to my forest my wrath is as ancient and unforgiving as my domains!"

"Good to know." And like that Mylene moved on. "I don't suppose that you'll be so kind as to do anything so convenient as to tell me the details of the other Colossi that are in the forest?"

"...no." Hera actually looked like she was off put by Mylene's frank request as she sat back down into her sofa. Part of it stemmed from being called a Colossi, in ancient times it was a term the gods had reserved for their ancient war machines and guardian's such as the most stand out example, the Colossus of Rhodes, partly because it was what the term was named for. "We come from different pantheons, and rarely have reason to interact with each other."

"Suits me just fine." Mylene had come out here to work, truthfully though she needed to get away from Roland. Just thinking about him made another little gift he had left for her in her stomach to act up. "At this point the longer I spend away from my husband the better." Mylene winced at her ulcer as she collapsed into a seated position. The goddess blinked in surprise as she pulled out a golden goblet with a green emerald in the side, full of a golden liquid.

"Tell me about it." Mylene drank from the goblet, a rather pleasant tasting honey mead sliding down her throat. Briefly Mylene felt her Ulcer flare before it disappeared completely, likewise her goblet refilled by itself.

Little did Mylene realise she was drinking the literal nectar of the gods Ambrosia, refined from a select combination of plants using specially bred bees and then created using a brewing process worthy of the gods. It wasn't normally something that would just be given away, but Mylene was small and Hera felt generous today, a few extra decades of life to one mortal wasn't that big of a deal.

Thoroughly plastered Mylene aired her countless grievances until the sky outside reflected the sky inside, and likewise Hera had accepted her invitation to complain.

"Not only does the wretched man have the gall to go out and knock up another woman, again, but he also brought the child to Olympus and had me nurse him while I slept!" Hera snapped, having also gotten into the ambrosia. "Turns out, the little Monster was the physical incarnation of Brute strength itself! I woke up to the feeling of my teat nearly getting ripped off my body! Now every time I look up to the night sky I think about the mark the little brat left on me!" Mylene pointed upwards at the sky questioningly. "Those stars up there? That's from my breast milk, Zeus even declared me the Goddess of the Night Sky as if he could appease me with a mere title!"

"Your tits squirt stars?" Mylene asked her face twisted in confusion, and suddenly the Monarch burst out laughing. If Hera was tipsy then Mylene was three sheets to the wind, of course the immortality granting properties of Ambrosia kept her from dying of alcohol poisoning. The topic moved away from their husbands to their sons, Julius's action's over the past year had created an endless series of complaints, though not as endless as Hera's.

"He carried that creature everywhere he went like it was his own child!" At the moment Hera was recounting the tales about her own family life, and her own son Aries. "He even brought the damned snake here where it hunted my birds!" It would be one thing if Aries had done something reasonable like the time he adopted some birds from her personal garden in Paradiso for use as hunting and scout animals, but taking a Draconic Snake from Inferno and adopting it was a step too far. "He mourned the death of the thing for decades, he even went as far as to found a nation of warriors where it died and ruled over the people that had grown from the beast's teeth!"

"At least he didn't break your God daughter's heart and ran off with a girl with the body of a child!" Mylene had similar complaints concerning her own son's rather outrageous actions as well, and was far more sloshed to complain with. Eventually, as all good things must, the drinking party came to an end. "A gift for you, should you decide to return." Hera handed Mylene a final parting gift, or rather her guard, Mylene was too busy falling down drunk to accept the gift. Thus Mylene was led out of Paradiso.

"Oh it's still daylight!~" Mylene noted looking up at the sky, if she was sober she might notice that the sun was on the wrong side of the island. "Off to the next boss room!"

Nidhogg: A demonic Parasite.

A demon of low intelligence, it attaches itself to Qlippoth tree roots to feed off of the nutrients of the tree and offering nothing in return.

The mere insertion of one of these parasites in their infantile stage is enough to kill off a vast number of the Qlippoth's roots.

They are the mortal enemy of the Empusa, and exterminating them with extreme prejudice is of the highest priority for the Empusa colony whenever one should appear.

Aside from that they are considered to have low intelligence, mopping one up is usually an easy task for a team of experienced demon hunters.

Excerpt on Lemegeton's Guidebook of Demons

It was hard to describe the creature in simple terms. It's body was composed entirely of orange spongy rings, like they were looking at some kind of giant worm, but it had what was clearly a humanoid figure at the end of the worm body, it's arms ending in two massive blades. The Nidhogg looked around the group that had come into the chamber where it had made itself known.

"Not even a face a mother can Love." Leon commented, his tone of voice full of sarcasm.

"What do we do with it?" Olivia looked up in confusion at the creature nestled in a knot of roots above them. "It's not like we can use magic down here to shoot at it." Which was rather unfortunate since the tank was full at the moment.

"I'll get it down here." Leon had taken one of the turrets that had been prepared to help with crowd control, a harpoon gun. Theoretically capable of devastating damage but more useful as a way to needle and thread several monsters in one go as a crowd control measure. "Just hit when it gets here." And then Leon fired the weapon, a harpoon flying through the air and spearing the creature in the head, going clean through the other side, and then serving the role as an anchor as Leon pulled on it.

"OWWWWW!" The creature let out a scream of pain as it tried to get the rope out, the fact that it didn't think 'cut it with arm blades' was rather concerning about it's intelligence. "You son of a-" As was the fact that it was cussing at them.

"Its intelligent?" Angelica asked looking up at the creature in question.

"Intelligent isn't quite the right word." Louise countered the point. "It can speak fine but it's survival instincts and decision making skills are so abysmal that it's hard to think of it as a sapient creature." Louise explained as she got ready to do some damage against the creature Leon was dragging into range.

"I can think of people like that." Angelica let out a sigh, and for a moment Marie felt a pang of phantom pain. "Unfortunately we can't do the same thing to them as we're about to do to this thing." Angie's hand glowed as she smiled sinisterly.

Julius in the mean time face planted as a suddenly spike of murderous intent shot up his spine.

"Julius! Fifty more pushups!" Or it could just be the usual drill sergeants going out of their way to make their lives miserable. It was hard to tell.

The Nidhogg's death wail echoed throughout the caverns, paralysed by Livia's mana and burned to death by Angelica. The beast received no mercy once it was dead, Leon continuing to tear the creature's corpse out of the root knot and be incinerated by the Duchess.

"Is it really necessary to destroy the corpse too?" Noelle was looking at the creature and the amount of work that was being done to get rid of it.

"It's regenerative capabilities are ridiculous, part of the reason why it's so stupid is that it doesn't have most of the internal organs the rest of us have, including the brain, technically speaking, we can't even call it dead yet." Louise gave a detailed explanation in response. "Worse yet, one of us is going to have to go in there in case it left any eggs behind." Arguably speaking, the offspring are capable of doing even more damage than the adult one, it's immature body is full of tendrils, which it uses to spread itself out as wide as possible and releases digestive enzymes into the environment to break down the surrounding roots of the Qlippoth and feed off of those nutrients for the rest of their life. In layman's terms, 90% of the damage a Nidhogg will do in its lifetime happens in the first few days of its life.

"I can't use my mana to sense where the eggs are down here." Livia reported as she concentrated Mana in her eyes. "It would be much more effective if the tree could tell us where the infections are."

"Unfortunately those duties fell to the Sacred Priestess of Alzer." Louise stated letting out an annoyed sigh as she turned to glare at Noelle resentfully.

"Promise not to make this weird guys?" Noelle asked looking at the group awkwardly.

"You saying that is making this infinitely more awkward." Leon replied in simple terms.

"I think I can hear the Sacred Tree talking to us." You could hear the crickets chirping as everyone stared at Noelle.

"WHAT DID I JUST SAY!?"

Through Noelle, the group was led to where the larva of the Nidhogg was being kept. From here Professor Narcisse proposed careful excavation of the Qlippoth's roots, making sure that they take extreme caution in removing each of the louses without harming the surrounding roots.

"You blasphemous fool!" Professor Narcisse had to be physically restrained at the sight of Leon using a hatchet to carve into a mass of withered looking roots and afterwards filled the groove with a bundle of Dynamite attaching it to a length of cable, a dynamite plunger on the far end.

"I recommend that we get clear." And a few moments later, and a comical sight of the girls physically removing Professor Narcisse, the group was at a safe distance and were able to push the plunger down and soon the explosives were detonated. With a loud boom the root section was cleared away, and several large larva looking demons that had been scattered across the ground.

"Let's start cleaning up." Leon pulled several swords out of the void, giving them to the various group members, with the exception of Professor Narcisse, who had been reduced to the pathetic sight of collapsing to his knees and staring in slack jawed horror at what Leon had done, the group back stabbing into the exposed Nidhogg larva and collecting them like garbage.

"Umm. I think the tree is talking again." Noelle reluctantly piped up again, clearly the notion that the tree was talking to her made her unsettled. "It would like us to keep removing the rest of the parasites, but it doesn't want us to blow it up anymore, if possible It would rather that we use drop weapons instead."

RonaldM40196867: Bayonetta is one of Nintendo's most carefully guarded IPs, I'd say it gets plenty of respect already.

arisu freedomstrikes: I'm going to have to refuse your offer for several reasons. The first is that if I'm going to spend money to make the comic I expect to get money back, which considering Nintendo's response to Palworld I am not prepared to fight them for. The second is that I have not been able to find any other similar webcomics online by one arisu freedomstrikes thus I do not know of you, your art style, or what to expect from such a commission. Good day.
