"Last time on Total Drama: Pahkitew Island! The scavenger hunt race had teams scrambling across the island while dodging traps and each other's dirty tricks. Team Kinosewak pulled off a crucial win, thanks to Sammy and Jasmine's strong teamwork, while poor Elliot finally gathered the courage to confess his feelings for Ella right before blasting off in the Cannon of Shame! And with only 13 campers left, the stakes are rising, alliances are forming, and deception is becoming a way of life. Who's ready for another explosive round of drama? Let's dive into Episode 8—Web of Lies—right now on Total… Drama… Pahkitew Island!"

The sun rose over the treetops of Pahkitew Island, casting a golden glow on the canopy surrounding Team Kinosewak's campsite. The cool breeze rustled the leaves, but the atmosphere within the camp was anything but calm. After the previous elimination, where Ella said her goodbyes, the remaining campers found themselves contemplating their positions in the game and the alliances they could trust—or betray.

Jasmine sat cross-legged near the fire pit, stirring the embers with a stick as she sipped on a cup of lukewarm berry tea. The morning mist clung to her hair, but her mind was elsewhere, replaying the previous day's challenge and Elliot's surprising elimination. It was a reminder of how quickly things could turn against you.

Across the clearing, Sammy and Johnny huddled by a tree, their voices low. They had become close since Amy's elimination, but their newfound alliance had Johnny thinking ahead, already identifying threats that could derail their path to victory.

"Rodney's a problem. He's a nice guy, sure, but the moment a girl smiles at him, his brain short-circuits. I saw how distracted he was yesterday. That could cost us when things get tough." Johnny whispers to Sammy. Sammy looked hesitant but nodded. "I know. But I don't like the idea of blindsiding him. He's been good to me."

"Sammy, this isn't about being nice. It's about winning. We don't take out the weak links now, and we'll end up going home instead of them."

Sammy bit her lip, her gaze shifting toward Rodney, who was awkwardly sitting by the fire, poking at his breakfast. He caught her eye and gave her a shy smile, which only made her guilt worse.

CONFESSIONAL: SAMMY

"Johnny's right. I can't deny that Rodney's easily distracted, but it's hard to turn against someone who's always had my back. But if it's between him and me… I have to choose me."

Meanwhile, Topher was busy setting up his phone, using a rock as a makeshift tripod. He adjusted his hair and struck a pose, pretending to host his own show.

Topher to the imaginary camera. "Good morning, viewers! Topher here, bringing you the latest behind-the-scenes drama from Team Kinosewak. With Elliot gone and the alliances shifting, who's next on the chopping block? Stay tuned!"

Jasmine raised an eyebrow at him but didn't comment. Instead, she shifted her attention to Max, who was pacing near the edge of camp, muttering about "evil plans" and "taking control." Scarlett's elimination seemed to have given him a renewed sense of villainy, even though he was more comic relief than threat.

CONFESSIONAL: JASMINE

"Max keeps talking about being an evil mastermind, but the only thing he's managed to mastermind is getting shocked by electrified ropes. Still, people like him can be wildcards. If he accidentally messes up a challenge or votes unpredictably, it could ruin everything."

Over at Team Maskwak, the atmosphere was equally tense. Sky was already up, jogging along the beach to clear her mind. The waves crashed against the shore, but the sound couldn't drown out the nagging thoughts in her head—particularly about Gerald.

Back at the campsite, Gerald sat near the fire, twirling a twig between his fingers with a smirk that suggested he was planning something. Dave sat nearby, absentmindedly poking the fire, while Shawn scanned the treetops for signs of "zombie vultures."

Ella, despite being one of the most optimistic campers, hummed a quieter tune than usual as she cleaned up around camp. Her energy had noticeably diminished since Elliot's departure, and Sky had taken note.

As Sky jogged back into camp, she grabbed a bottle of water and sat next to Dave. "We need to talk," she whispered. "About what?"

Sky glanced at Gerald, who was now chatting with Shawn about traps he could set for "the next invasion." "About him," she said, nodding toward Gerald.

Dave followed her gaze, looking uncertain. "What about him?"

Sky lowered her voice further. "He's sabotaging us. I saw what he did during the last challenge, and if we don't do something soon, he's going to ruin our chances of winning."

Dave hesitated, glancing between Sky and Gerald. "I don't know, Sky. Gerald's a schemer, yeah, but we don't have any proof. If we go after him too soon, it could backfire."

Sky sighed, frustrated. "Then we wait for proof. But when we get it, we strike. Agreed?"

After a moment's consideration, Dave nodded. "Agreed."

CONFESSIONAL: SKY

"I don't trust Gerald. He's too slippery, and every time we've lost, he's been at the center of it. If I have to be the one to take him out, I will."

Chris's voice blared through the loudspeakers, jolting the teams into action. "Good morning, campers! I hope you're all well-rested because today's challenge is gonna test your brains and your guts! Meet me at the cliffside in fifteen minutes!"

"Cliffs and danger? This is exactly what an evil genius thrives on!" Max excited exclaimed.

"As long as we don't have to eat anything gross, I'm good."

The teams gathered their supplies and made their way through the dense forest, emerging onto a steep cliff overlooking the ocean. The crashing waves below were enough to make a few campers—particularly Rodney—nervous.

"Please tell me we're not jumping off this thing."

Chris stood at the edge, grinning as Chef set up what appeared to be a massive web-like structure made of ropes and nets suspended over the cliff. "Welcome to today's challenge, Web of Lies! Here's how it works: You'll be paired with a teammate and tasked with navigating this web to retrieve hidden flags. But beware—some of the ropes are booby-trapped with sticky tar, slippery oil, or even electrified shocks. Touch the wrong rope, and you could be in for a world of pain."

"Oh, great. Another death trap."

"But that's not all! The rest of your team will act as spotters, guiding you through the web from below. If your spotters give you bad directions, you'll end up stuck, shocked, or worse." He clapped his hands together. "The team that retrieves all their flags the fastest wins immunity. The losing team? Double elimination!"

The campers gasped, and murmurs of panic spread through the group.

"Double elimination?! That's brutal!"

"Oh, it's gonna be so much fun. Now pick your pairs and get ready to climb!"

The Pairings

Team Kinosewak:

Jasmine and Sammy

Johnny and Rodney

Max and Topher

Team Maskwak:

Sky and Gerald

Dave and Shawn

Chris blew the airhorn, and chaos erupted as the campers scrambled onto the web. The spotters shouted conflicting directions, and it didn't take long for things to go wrong.

Chris McLean grinned as the teams stood at the edge of the cliff, visibly nervous. The massive web structure loomed before them, swaying slightly in the ocean breeze. Below the ropes, the crashing waves and jagged rocks didn't exactly inspire confidence.

"Welcome to Web of Lies!" Chris shouted through a megaphone. "Pairs will climb this web and retrieve as many flags as possible! But, as always, there's a twist—booby-trapped ropes, electrified wires, and some sticky surprises await. And for the losing team? Double elimination!"

CONFESSIONAL: SKY

"Double elimination? That's a death sentence if we don't play this right. I need to keep my focus, but with Gerald as my partner, this challenge just got ten times harder."

"Alright, campers! Spotters, grab your binoculars. Climbers, don't fall to your doom. Ready, set, GO!"

The airhorn blared, and chaos erupted as the climbers scrambled onto the web. Spotters shouted directions from below, trying to guide their teammates through the maze of ropes.

Jasmine and Sammy moved like a well-oiled machine. Jasmine's athletic instincts paired perfectly with Sammy's careful approach. Sammy spotted a flag lodged near a bundle of tar-covered ropes. "Jasmine, two steps left—watch out for the black one!"

Jasmine nodded, maneuvering with ease and snagging the flag. "Got it!" she called down.

Meanwhile, Johnny and Rodney weren't faring as well. Rodney's nervousness made him clumsy, and every time Johnny told him to move left, Rodney panicked and stumbled.

"Rodney, you're stepping on the slippery rope!" Johnny yelled as Rodney slipped and landed awkwardly.

"I'm sorry!" Rodney shouted, flailing to regain balance.

CONFESSIONAL: JOHNNY

"Rodney's a great guy, but man, he's a disaster in challenges. If we don't get our act together, we're both going home."

On the other side of the web, Sky and Gerald were moving at a fast pace, but their progress was riddled with tension. Gerald, true to form, ignored most of Sky's directions and took shortcuts that often backfired.

"Gerald, stop going that way! You're heading toward the electrified ropes!" Sky shouted.

"Relax," Gerald said smugly. "I know what I'm doing."

Just as the words left his mouth, Gerald's hand brushed against a shock wire. A loud zap echoed through the air, and Gerald yelped in pain. "Ow! Okay, maybe you're right."

Sky smirked. "Told you."

CONFESSIONAL: SKY

"Watching Gerald get zapped was satisfying, but we can't afford mistakes. We need to win."

Dave and Shawn were struggling as well. Shawn, paranoid as always, kept looking around for "zombie seagulls" and barely paid attention to Dave's guidance.

"Shawn, grab the flag—no, not that one!" Dave yelled, exasperated.

Shawn grabbed a rope coated in oil, and before he knew it, he slipped and crashed into Dave, sending them both dangling upside down.

"This is bad," Dave groaned.

From below, Topher watched his team's progress while occasionally pretending to narrate for an imaginary audience.

"Look at Johnny and Rodney—they're falling apart up there," he muttered, shaking his head. "Jasmine and Sammy, though? They're dominating. My hosting instincts tell me they're going to be key players in this game."

CONFESSIONAL: TOPHER

"If I'm going to win this thing, I need to start aligning myself with stronger players like Jasmine. Rodney's dead weight, and if we lose today, he's my pick for elimination."

Meanwhile, Max paced anxiously. "I could do this challenge in my sleep," he muttered. "Why am I stuck spotting instead of being up there, claiming victory for the forces of evil?"

As the challenge neared its end, both teams had collected most of their flags, but the final flag—a golden one—was positioned precariously near the top of the web.

"Whoever gets the golden flag wins it for their team!" Chris announced.

Jasmine and Sammy made their way toward it, but Sky and Gerald weren't far behind. The two pairs raced against each other, maneuvering through traps and slippery ropes.

Sammy reached out, fingertips brushing the golden flag—just as Gerald lunged from the opposite direction.

"Back off, Gerald!" Jasmine growled, positioning herself between him and Sammy.

"Oh, come on," Gerald sneered. "What's a little friendly competition?"

Sammy gritted her teeth and yanked the flag free, holding it high in triumph. "Got it!"

Chris blew the airhorn. "Team Kinosewak wins!"

Sky glared at Gerald. "We could've won if you'd listened to me."

Gerald shrugged. "Relax, Sky. We've survived eliminations before. This is just another day."

CONFESSIONAL: SKY

"If Gerald thinks this is 'just another day,' he's in for a rude awakening tonight."

The campfire crackled as Chris stood before Team Maskwak, tray of marshmallows in hand. "Tonight, only five of you will get a marshmallow. Two of you are about to be blasted out of here, thanks to your poor performance. Let's get started."

The first few names were called quickly:

Sky

Dave

Shawn

That left Gerald and Rodney standing alone, the tension thick enough to cut with a knife.

Chris grinned. "Rodney, you've been struggling in challenges, and your inability to focus is dragging your team down. Gerald, you've made plenty of enemies, and some of your teammates think you've been sabotaging them."

The final marshmallow hovered in Chris's hand.

"And the last marshmallow goes to…

Gerald."

Rodney's shoulders slumped as he realized his time was up.

"Rodney, you've been a fan favorite for comedy relief, but it's time for you to say goodbye." Chef dragged Rodney toward the Cannon of Shame as he mumbled apologies to his teammates.

"Any last words, Romeo?" Chris asked.

Rodney looked toward Sammy, his face red with embarrassment. "I hope you win, Sammy. You deserve it."

With that, Chef hit the button, and Rodney was launched into the night sky.

Chris turned back to the team. "But wait! We're not done yet. Remember, this is a double elimination." He gestured toward the remaining campers.

The tension skyrocketed as the campers realized someone else was about to be sent home.

"Gerald, you're safe for now, but that means someone unexpected is going home." Chris held up a second marshmallow.

"Tonight's second elimination… is Shawn."

Shawn's jaw dropped. "What?! But I was looking for zombies! That's important survival stuff!"

"Sorry, buddy," Chris said, shrugging. "The team decided your paranoia's become a liability."

Chef strapped Shawn into the cannon, and with another loud blast, he was sent flying off the island.

CONFESSIONAL: GERALD

"Two eliminations in one night, and I'm still here. I'm unstoppable."

Chris turned to the camera with a smirk. "With only 11 campers left, alliances are crumbling, tensions are boiling over, and things are about to get messy. Who will survive the chaos? Find out next time on
