Death Anniversary: Part Three

It was nearing towards noon, Oliver had woken William and Mia up to have them pack for the weekend, he had already packed his things before waking them up.

"Where are we going?" Mia asked exiting her room with a duffel bag.

"On a trip," Oliver told his daughter as William came out his room.

"Will the others be coming?" William asked noticing that it was only the three of them with packed bags.

"No."

"Are you and Kara okay?" Evelyn asked, she had no idea what was happening all she knew was that while playing with Tommy, Oliver woke her siblings up telling them to pack without reason.

"We're fine," Oliver smiled slightly "I just want to take Will and Mia on a trip to Star City," he told them.

Kara then came out of Tommy's room with him on her hips, "Oh great you haven't left yet!" Kara gave them a smile "Tommy wanted to say goodbye to his big sister and brother."

William took Tommy first giving the four year "Bye bye Willy" Tommy smiled at his eldest brother.

"Bye bye little man."

Mia took Tommy "Bye little brother" she gave the boy a sad smile, she was still emotional about today's date.

National City; Legion Tower

Imra was at the tower, she had left Mon-El and Astra alone so they could have a day to themselves, she told him that if they found anything on his mother or Cadmus she'll let him know.

Brainy had found a warehouse location using a strange amount of electricity and Kryptonite. Instead of calling her boyfriend she went to someone else.

"Contact Supergirl and her team," Imra told Garth.

National City; Danvers-Queen Household

Kara sat at home with Evelyn and Tommy deciding to have some mother bonding time with her daughter and son.

"So Oliver and I were talking last week," Kara started as she fed Tommy his lunch catching Evelyn attention "and we were thinking with all the training with Dean and Sam, plus the extra you've put in with him and Alex," she turned to face Evelyn as Tommy was drinking his juice "That you are ready to come out on the field with us."

"Really?" Evelyn's face lit up making Kara smile.

"Yeah," Kara nodded "Mia is right behind you she just needs to work on her temper," Kara told her "But it's mostly up to Oliver to decide when she's ready."

"Knowing Oliver,"

"She'll most likely never be ready."

The two laughed. The laughter died down when Kara's phone rang.

"J'onn? What's up?" she answered.

"There's this group calling themselves the Legion looking for you."

Kara's eyes widened, "What's wrong?" Evelyn asked noticing the look on Kara's face.

"I'll be there soon," Kara ended the call "You wanna go into the field?"

Star City; Flower Shop

Oliver drove into Star City, William and Mia were asleep in the back seat, they woke up at the car stopping.

"Why are we at a flower shop?" William asked.

"Just get some flowers," Oliver ordered them, after picking their flowers, they watched as Oliver looked around then walked over to a specific kind of flower.

"Dad," William eyed Oliver as he picked up a bouquet of Peonies , he knew the meaning of those flowers and what they meant to Oliver.

"What?" Mia asked as she a bouquet of Sunflowers.

"Peonies," Oliver smiled sadly "They were your mother's favorite," he spoke "Do you two have your flowers?" he asked.

"Dad, where are we going?" Mia asked after they paid for the flowers.

"To visit Felicity," William spoke "We're going to her grave aren't we?" Oliver nodded at his son's question.

National City; The DEO

Kara landed on the balcony with Evelyn in one hand and Tommy in the other holding him tightly to not drop him.

"Imra!" she said spotting the brunette after sitting Evelyn down "What's the problem? Where's Astra and Mon-El?" she asked.

"They're at home," Imra told her.

"Then what's the problem?" Evelyn asked.

"My team and I were scanning the city for Cadmus and Rhea," Imra started "Brainy caught a warehouse using a strange amount of electricity and kryptonite."

"I'll take Tommy," Winn walked over to the group "You guys go kick some Cadmus ass."

Star City; Graveyard

The three made it to Felicity's grave, they saw John and Thea standing there.

"Thea? John?" Oliver spoke "What are you guys doing here?" he asked.

"We come here every year on this day," Thea spoke "Or whenever we have a bad day or rough missions and it always feels like she's right here with us," she said wiping her tears.

"What are you guys doing here?" John asked.

"I thought it would be nice to visit her," Oliver nodded "Along with these two."

Both Thea and John nodded "We'll leave you to it."

"No," Oliver shook his head "You don't have to leave, stay with us," Oliver told them "You two go ahead say what you need to say put your flowers on the ground."

Both teens walked towards Felicity's grave with Oliver, John, and Thea watching them.

"How are they doing with today's date?" John asked.

"They've been okay over the years but for some reason it hit them hard," Oliver sighed.

"And how are you doing?"

"I'm...doing okay."

"Oliver,"

"No truly," Oliver interrupted Thea "It's still hard to believe it, and no I'm not fully it over it, but I talked about it with Kara, and now I'm trying to help my kids grieve."

William looked over his shoulder to face his dad signaling him to come over.

Oliver sighed and walked towards the grave, Oliver placed the bouquet on the tombstone smiling sadly "Hi Felicity," he started as Mia and William stepped back going over to Thea and John.

"I'm married," he chuckled "To Kara of all people," he smiled "You probably don't want to hear be brag about being remarried and all that," he spoke as tears began rolling down his cheeks.

"I've missed you very much," he spoke quietly "I still don't understand how or why you lied to me about the cancer," he said "and I was angry at you for a while, but now I'm over it and still trying to figure out what went wrong," he said "Every time I see Mia, our little girl, I see bits of you in her everyday."

Unknown Warehouse

She watched the cameras on her family; her husband, her children, her sister in-law, her best friend. She watched as they stood at her grave the tears forming in her eyes as they did every night she was forced to watch her family move on without her.

She was forced to watch;herhusband marry that blonde Kryptonian, she was forced to watch her comfortherdaughter after getting her first period, watched as that woman replaced her in their lives as they claim to miss her.

She was going through so many feelings right now mainly anger, sadness, hurt, and betrayed.

Star City; Big Belly Burger

After visiting the graveyard Oliver took William and Mia to get something to eat, they invited John and Thea but they declined, Thea had to get back to Roy so they could plan their wedding and John had to get back to Lyla and the kids, but Oliver and John managed to schedule a playdate between Astra and Sara and Little John.

"So are heading back home now?" Mia asked taking a sip of her drink.

"No," Oliver shook his head "We're going to be down here for the weekend."

"Is Kara okay with this?"

"Of course she is," Oliver nodded "She thinks it's good for the three of us to visit your mother and stay here so you can connect with her better."

So there's a hint of what Cadmus and Rhea are up to, you'll fully find out in next chapter.
