CODE DRACONIS GEASS

CHAPTER 4

JAPAN, KUOH

YEAR XXXX

For Hyoudou Issei, his life has been strange, for him it has been 16 and a half years of constant changes, especially regarding his relationships, both social and family.

Today was a quiet Friday, where he started his weekend, which he would take advantage of to catch up on his anime and manga, and if possible buy some figure or accessory with the allowance he currently has.

But continuing with his story, his social life was not easy.

He never had any friends until he met Rin, where those were the best moments of his childhood, including the occasional outings and trips they made to Kyoto from time to time, not forgetting the trips to visit his grandmother's home.

But that lost a lot of fun and enthusiasm to do something with his family again, since Rin left and he was alone for a long time, it wasn't his fault he just wasn't good at socializing and finding someone who had similar tastes.

There was also the issue of his encounter with these 'women'.

Issei shudders every time his memories take him there.

But at least it's thanks to that that he was able to meet Miss Raynare, who is currently the most beautiful woman he could ever meet. Also, as she promised, they had had different encounters where they both got to know more about each other, thanks to that, the loss of Rin doesn't affect him as much and apart from that there was something else involved.

It was as if she saved him from a terrible future where he would have had problems meeting people, he came to compare her to an angel, since his friend said that they always come in dark moments of one and save them, Raynare felt quite flattered by that.

However, Issei could see a small spark of melancholy and pain appear on her face, he didn't know why, but he decided not to ask since it seemed to be something painful for her.

Unfortunately, like she said the first time they met, she said she was just passing through and couldn't stay forever. That hurt him, he felt like it was going to be the same as with Rin, but she assured him it wouldn't be like that.

YEAR XXXX

"I have a niece who moved near the village, she also had trouble making friends, but I think you and her would get along great." Raynare's words tried to comfort a younger Issei, who looked sad at the news that she would be leaving.

Currently, both of them were crossing a bridge in Kuoh, where they stopped due to the conversation, while the sun was setting and dusk was beginning.

Issei, despite hearing that, didn't seem entirely happy and continued to look sadly at the woman in front of him. Seeing that the news didn't change Issei's mood, she could only sigh. Then she put on a softer and almost motherly expression so she could bend down and be at Issei's height and look him in the eyes. "Issei, I already told you that I wasn't going to stay here at all, I had to leave at some point." Her words were soft and tried to express some comfort for Issei.

The latter just looked back at him, but with it he expressed disagreement and sadness. "I don't want you to leave yet." The tone of his voice was quite low, almost a whisper, but it was still understandable. "I don't like having to say goodbye to the people I love anymore, I hate goodbyes now-". Before he could continue speaking, Raynare stopped him.

"Issei, this is not a goodbye!" Although she didn't want to raise her voice, she hadn't thought of a better way for Issei to listen to her. "*sigh* I just ask you not to be sad, please Issei, you have to try to stay happy on your own, depending too much on other people won't do you any good in the long run." Raynare then brought her hands towards Issei's to grab them and give them a gentle squeeze. "Don't worry, maybe I can come again to visit you and continue where we left off our friendship." While saying that, she still held Issei's hands together, until she brought them together.

After doing that, Issei suddenly felt a weight on his hands, but he could only see Raynare's smile, so she let go of his hands and that was when Issei saw it. A necklace, it was a simple one really, a rope and an ornament, the rope was just black, however it was the pendant that caught his attention, it was a figure of a crow, but instead of being black as it should usually be, it was a beautiful dark amethyst, similar to the color tone in Raynare's eyes.

Seeing the surprise and admiration begin to emerge on Issei's face, she felt a great relief, it seemed that he liked the gift. "Issei, please keep this." She could see how doubt entered his face. "This will serve as a memory, so that you realize that you will not always be alone, also so that you cannot forget me along with our meetings." With those words she could see how Issei's spirits rose and she saw the relief that he could keep that necklace, which he must have thought was expensive. "Now let's go, it's getting late and we can't stay out here during the night."

PRESENT.

YEAR XXXX

After that day, a week had passed, and at the end of it, he didn't appear, he definitely had to leave, the only good thing was that at least he didn't feel as sad as he did with Rin.

Furthermore, up until today everything was going well in his life, he managed to graduate from elementary school without any problems, his parents were happy for him, and despite being a middle-class family they had no problems, with a salaried father and a mother who is a housewife. Life was good, even if out of nowhere everything started to lean to the left and he felt slight pains in his arm at the moment.

Wait. Was that supposed to happen?

PUM

"Ouch." That was the only groan of pain that came out of Issei's mouth, due to the blow from falling in the middle of the street on his left side. "I hate it when that happens." While he had no problems in his life, this happened to him often.

It was at random times and there was never any way to prevent it, but out of nowhere he felt that his sense of balance stopped working and he felt his body gain weight, it always started on the left side of his body and then expanded to the rest, because of that he always ends up seeing the world leaning to the left.

How he hated it when that happened, but he hated it more when it happened in front of people, especially his family, as he was the first healthy child his parents had, they wanted to make sure they were okay in every way, they had taken him to the doctor several times to find out what happened to him, unfortunately the only thing they were able to deduce was the fact that his muscles received a sudden growth and when they grew they caused his bones to be subjected to great pressure, that way it was the reason why he could not maintain balance.

Unfortunately, that was the only answer he got from his family after several visits.

The good thing is that despite everything, his family remains firm and attentive to this, even his sister gives him sweets to try to console him.

That's right, he has a sister right now, a new member for the family, she is now 9 years old. The news had arrived from his mother a few days after Raynare left, that at least cheered him up. The bad thing is that Rin wasn't here to see that.

However, that was another thing that he personally considered a miracle in his life and that of his family. He was supposed to have been one himself, because his mother had had 2 miscarriages and lost a boy and a girl, so he would actually be the second youngest of 4 siblings.

He still remembers when his mother had cried with happiness for this for several days, Issei had understood from his father that when the miscarriages she had ended the lives of her siblings, she began to cry inconsolably and enter a constant depression. But now everything is fine for her family.

And luckily now it didn't feel so heavy anymore.

Now Issei stood up from the ground and dusted off his school uniform. The school uniform of the best school in the village, Kuoh Academy.

This was an old academy since the town was founded years ago, but it was only for girls at first, however a little over 3 years ago it became mixed, including the university and elementary levels, where his sister was, he is also one of the few men who managed to pass the difficult written exam, as well as physical to enter, one could say that Issei is someone quite lucky to have entered the most prestigious academy in the city.

Unfortunately for Issei, that is not the case due to his 'strange' condition, his experience at the academy has been quite disappointing for him. He was unable to join any that he would have liked, and despite the school having been changed to coed 3 years ago, the female population still outnumbered the male, (that made him glad since, if he was lucky he could have a girlfriend or maybe if he does well and excels he could end up with a harem like in those animes he watched when his parents weren't around) unfortunately the women were still distrustful of men, that made joining a club almost impossible, not to mention that any physical activity in sports classes was complicated for him.

The worst thing about this is that they had him branded as a hopeless pervert, all because one of his cases happened when he was walking outside a club to look for a quiet place to eat, which suspiciously had a peephole that led to the dressing rooms where the girls changed , and well it seems that when it happened and he screamed the girls who were inside had heard him and came out to see who it was, there he discovered that it was the kendo clan if the bamboo swords, also known as shinai that they held with anything but peaceful intentions told him anything.

To say that it was Issei's most painful experience was an understatement, plus it had only been his third week at the academy and he ended up receiving a beating.

Which didn't last long because the girls stopped, but it wasn't by their own will, it was because someone had decided to intervene on their behalf.

Apparently it was the vice president of the student council, a Souna Shitori, a girl a year older than him so she is in her second year and therefore is his senpai. Besides her there was also another girl, it had to be the tallest girl he had ever seen since she was a head taller than Souna, she was the secretary of the student council, Tsubaki Shinra and last but not least there was the other girl (at first he thought she was a boy because she had a face with masculine features), who was talking to the girls of the kendo club trying to calm them down and explain the situation, she was also part of the student council, but she was in charge of matters related to the clubs with sports activities, her name was Tsubasa Yura. Apparently since they have not finished updating the data of some clubs yet, the student council is going one by one to obtain the required report where the necessary information would be requested to recognize the club as a legal one instead of an illegal one.

They had just arrived when Issei began to receive the beating, luckily for him, he had already spoken to the nurse about his condition and wrote it down in a report, which had been delivered to the rest of the teachers, it was also given to the student council, where they also took the opportunity to say that it was impossible for him to make the hole without tools, he also scolded the club because that hole must have been there for days and at no time did they make any complaint, as if he were accusing them of being the ones who made it and having an excuse to hit anyone who passed by, in that way they also received a scolding and a light punishment for leniency and in part for applying violence without fair justification.

It was thanks to that that Issei managed to get away unscathed (with some bruises), but those girls still seemed to be quite spiteful and deigned to spread rumors that he was some first-class pervert.

Quite a horrible experience for Issei, that much would have to be said, but not everything was bad.

"Ise! Are you okay?"

As he walked, Issei stopped and put on a happy expression at the voice that called him, not by his name, but by a nickname.

Turning his gaze towards the source of the voice, there she was, with her slender body and large bust, but not as big as Raynare's (Issei sometimes stares at that too much) wearing her own school uniform, which consisted of a dark red jacket with a gold embroidered letter 'P' on it, a white t-shirt, a red bow, and a green skirt with a thin orange stripe around the bottom end.

She was Yuuma Amano, Raynare's niece and the first and perhaps only friend (Issei never found out that Rin was a child) that Issei currently has, certainly those kendo girls were quite spiteful towards him.

But anyway, he had to answer someone. "Don't worry Yuuma, you don't have to worry, I'm healthy now and nothing bad happened to me so far." Although Issei wasn't good at lying, he didn't want to worry his friend and be a burden on her.

Unfortunately she realized that something was wrong. "Issei, people who say that usually have problems and need help in some way." On top of that she was also pretty smart at knowing when he was lying. "Did you have one of those attacks again? Issei! You know you can call me if you have them, even your mother could come find you if something happens to you." While that was possible Issei didn't like the idea of talking about his problems and making it seem useless if he couldn't get over something like that.

"Don't worry Yuuma, it wasn't as bad as you think, besides right now my mother must be with my sister at this moment, I wouldn't feel right interrupting her day just because something happened to me that I can recover from." Since it was a Friday, her mother had promised her sister that they would spend the afternoon together, so both of them must be in some park or shopping right now to have a good time, and Issei didn't want to ruin that.

Yuuma just stared at him for a while, then sighed at the attitude he was displaying. "Issei, your family loves you, and you shouldn't think so lowly of yourself, as if you were the least important person in your family?" That was one thing Yuuma worried about Issei, however, he only deigned to avoid looking at her eyes.

He was a boy with too many insecurities and little charisma, which made him downplay his personality, which was in no way healthy for him.

"*sigh* I guess at least things are going better for you at the academy." She expected a good answer, but it only got Issei to look away again. She was already frowning. "Issei, did something happen to you this week? You're usually not that bad, even if some of those spiteful bitches want to ruin you? So tell me, what's got you in that mood?" Her tone of voice was higher and more serious, causing Issei to jump a little in fear at that, he also forgets that Yuuma has a strong character and sometimes got angry quite easily, unfortunately for him this means that he would have to tell her about his problems.

With a heavy sigh, to convey his annoyance, Issei decided to speak. "Yuuma, do you think I'm someone boring and unremarkable?"

At what Issei said, Yuuma widened his eyes at the new information, so that was it. "Issei, did something happen to you regarding that?" The tone of his voice was calm, but Issei could also sense concern and something more… dangerous in him.

Issei appreciated that, but decided to ignore the last thing that was reflected in her tone, so with a sigh he made it clear that it was better to tell her what was happening. "You see, there is or rather there was a girl at the academy, she was quite attractive and from what I had heard she was very well liked by everyone at school, naturally I wanted to get closer to meet her." Issei could see how Yuuma's face was showing some emotions, but she hid them quite well, however she walked towards a bench that was on the road, where she sat down and patted her side to indicate that he should do the same. Once done she gave him a signal so he could continue with the story. "I also found out that she owned a club and that she was apparently the heiress of a prestigious clan here in Kuoh. *hehe*. You know, that place seems to have a pretty amazing reputation, I've met several students who come from a wealthy family or have some fortune that comes from their family, and she had both apparently, anyway the point was that when I wanted to approach her I saw that a book had fallen from her bag, so I picked it up and when I approached to return it to her and that way talk to her and know her name, they interrupted me, but it wasn't in a good way. " Yuuma only listened to Issei's story, however now that she got to that part her face began to go through several emotions, from bitterness and some sadness. "Apparently the girl had a large group of admirers at the academy, but more than that they seemed like some kind of fanatics due to their behavior, they took the girl's book from me to say that only they could approach and give it to her properly, that someone like 'me', a guy who looks uninteresting and who could stand out in something, that in fact it's surprising that a 'guy' like me entered the academy, that then turned into mockery because they believed that if I thought about having a relationship with a girl from there I should leave those thoughts behind because it's not possible for someone so special to get together with a simple and normal guy like me." That seemed to be the end of his story, because now that it was finished he let out a sigh of frustration and leaned his body forward with some tiredness. "I feel like you should hear this from me, surely you have something better to do."

"…" Yuuma hadn't said a word, she just sat there while Issei told and finished his story. Once he finished, she still remained silent, but suddenly she stood up from the bench, Issei was about to ask her if something was wrong, however suddenly she stood in front of him, leaning down and then, Issei felt it.

A soft touch on his left cheek, but this one had a unique warmth, it brought him peace and tranquility, he could feel his heart beating too fast, he felt like it was going to explode, in the same way an incredible and soft fragrance reached his nose. This left him in a stupor.

Unfortunately that was gone as quickly as it came, then he heard Yuuma's voice. "Now Issei a cute girl just gave you a kiss, even before that she was with you long enough to say that I'm your best friend, so no one can tell you that a person like you can't be with someone special and unique." Yuuma's words left Issei with his mouth open, he never expected this from her, however it wasn't over. "And since I gave you something special like that kiss, I expect a reward and a special return for that." Yuuma's last words came in a playful and fun tone, along with a mischievous smile.

Issei, on the other hand, was in shock by this, never in his life did he think this would happen to him, never.

However, as much as he wanted to continue like this, he also heard Yuuma's words and the claim of his reward, but what could he give her? Issei doubted that she would settle for a simple gift, luckily for him Yuuma gives him some clues as to what she wants.

"Issei, you should know that a girl who kissed you will always think of something big as compensation." Those were her words, then she hid her mouth with one of her hands as she continued speaking. "Tomorrow is Saturday, right? And I understand that for now you had no plans for the weekend." With that, Issei at least understood what she wanted.

Unfortunately, he doesn't know if it's a good idea.

She herself said that she is her best friend, and in fact her only female friend at the moment, if she were to screw it up and make it end badly and in disaster, it is very possible that her friendship and any possible and future relationship with Yuuma, of any kind, will vanish and end before it even begins.

With his voice somewhat shaky and nerves high, Issei asked the question. "Yu-Yuuma, do you want me to ask you out on a date tomorrow, Saturday?" Issei wasn't entirely sure if those words were the right ones in this case, but there was a surprise.

"Yes Issei, I would love to go on a date with you!" Yuuma's voice was a squeal of happiness and some hope that made Issei have butterflies in his stomach. "Now we better get ready, you have to have everything ready for tomorrow, I just have to attend to some matters right now so nothing will interrupt us on our way." Those were the girl's last words before she turned around and left immediately.

Leaving Issei alone, but with a growing smile that no one would be able to take away from him for a long time.

His parents and sister would be quite proud and happy for him.

.

.

.

In a well-furnished apartment, inside a bedroom with basic things, a desk with a computer, a closet for different clothes and shoes, and finally a bed for a single person, there was a lonely girl.

Dressed in a high school uniform.

The girl is Yuuma Amano, the same girl who promised Issei Hyoudou a date for tomorrow, however instead of being happy like any girl in preparation for her date, her face reflected the opposite, since in her lap was a paper, a simple paper that is nothing more than the culprit of her mood.

On it were written some numbers, placed in a certain order and at the bottom of it there was a phrase.

"You're in. You have 2 days."

Taking the paper, Yuuma left the comfort of her mattress and stood up. Instantly, a light began to emerge from her entire body, almost immediately her body began to change, she grew a few centimeters and her body showed signs of maturing and her schoolgirl clothes disintegrated to wear something more daring.

Right now I stopped being Yuuma Amano and became Raynare.

She walked over to the desk in the room, where she moved the chair, not to sit down, but to make some space. Bending down a little, not caring that it made a big show of her rear end, she reached her hand towards the back of the desk where she applied a little pressure with her hand.

CLICK

Instantly, without any noise, a compartment opened and a device appeared, a cell phone, but it was not just any cell phone. Taking it in his hands, he pressed the screen where it lit up and a list of names appeared, but he was only looking for one.

It's done, we have two days if you want to act-

She knew she wouldn't have an answer soon, with a sigh she left the device on the table, after that she decided to take a look at the room, only to keep her attention on the mirror, seeing her own image, then she turned her attention to the closet, then formed a calm smile.

Tomorrow is one of the best things your species did, especially when it is someone precious.

Taking another look at the device, I make the decision to have something that I can give the recipient of the message an assurance that she keeps her word.

"This is one of those days."

END

.

.

This is just Issei's introduction, I don't want to make something like this longer.

As I said, I don't like replacing a protagonist in favor of another, but that doesn't mean the story goes slow, this is just to advance the plot, and before someone says that I made a big time skip and lost several things, don't worry, it's just something I always see in fics and I didn't see people complaining about it, besides, I'm not going to skip anything that is important to me in this story.
