Entry Twenty-Three

January 23, 2001

First day of imprisonment went extremely well. I laid in bed until noon, Draco came into my room telling me to get up, but I told him get out, but he started pulling my arm, trying to drag me up. I went limp and was just dragged off the bed and I laid on the floor. Then he tried to pick me up, but since I was limp, I was like a noodle, just bent over and not even standing right. Then he used his wand and levitated me upright and took me to my room. He was so pissed off, as he tried to have me change my clothes, but I did not move, just a limp noodle, then he grabbed whatever, yanked my trousers on, ripped my shirt off, thank goodness I was wearing a bra, and he roughly yanked a blouse over my head. He was cussing under his breath as he was brushing my hair out. He wasn't gentle at all, yanking my hair, and aggressively brushing through the knots, I didn't say anything, didn't wince, and he tied my hair at the base of my neck, with my hair all over, my baby hairs sticking up. Then he cursed at me, as he put on a pair of mary janes with no socks. I was laughing internally but had a poker face. That was when he said let's go, and I went limp noodle to the floor. He was red in the face, as he yanked me up and threw me over his shoulder and stomped out of my office. I was dead weight on his shoulders all the way down to the sitting room where he threw me down on the sofa. That's when I finally said you could have had the house elf dress me and bring me down. He told me to shut the fuck up pointing his bony finger in my face.

I slapped his finger out of my face, and he pushed my head back, and I kicked him in the stomach and jumped up and lunged at him. We had our hand on each other's neck, and pulling each other downward, trying to get the best of one another, Narcissa and Lucius both came into the sitting room. We didn't know, until Lucius pulled us apart. Then we got yelled at and our hands were charmed together, where we started pulling away from each other, and we got yelled at again. We were completely mental, Draco was pissed with his disheveled hair and red cheeks, meanwhile, my hair was pulled out of my tie, with big lumps and hair sticking out, my cheeks fleshed as well. Now that I think about it, it was funny, at the time, we were being stupid. Lucius had us charmed for couple of hours.

In those couple of hours Draco and I went for a walk outside. I complained about how gross and clammy his hand was, he just told me to shut it. Then started berating me about being immature and spoiled. I just rolled my eyes and started humming loudly. Then Draco covered my mouth and said to stop, I was ready to retort until I saw the look on his face, and I stopped and started looking around, its when we heard rustling on the other side of the fence where the tree line begins. There was a soft thumping sound once we started intently listening, and I whispered someone is trying to break the barrier. Draco looked at me and said what, I said someone is trying to break the barrier, I may not have my magic, but doesn't diminish my intelligence you imbecile. I said reinforce it, its already a complex layer of magic, but reinforce it. Draco stood there like a twit, I said do blood magic, my goodness. Did we wake up stupid today? I told him to cut his palm and I can draw the runes and say the incantation you can repeat after me. To our luck there was a flat rock near the fence, where I drew the necessary runes with Draco's blood and drew similar runes on his palm and forearm. I started saying the incantation, and Draco repeated after me, the runes had a reddish glow on the rock and on Draco's hand and forearm. You could see a thin red line makes its way to the barrier, and once it reached it, it spread in all directions in a reddish color. It was when Lucius apparated next to us.

Lucius looked at the runes on the rock and on Draco, and asked what we are doing and why we were doing blood magic. Draco began to explain to this father what happened, and I cut in and told him someone is on the other side of the barrier trying to break through it. The incantation I had Draco do is a reset, like mending any cracks or breaks in the current barrier, enforcing and strengthen the magic to be much more powerful. Lucius took the charm off Draco and I's hands, and I rubbed my hand. Lucuis asked where I learned blood magic. I told him, well I've been spending a lot of time reading in my bird cage lately. Lucius then asked me if I tried it before myself, I said no. I just remembered it from one of my reads and could see the picture of the symbols and remembered. Lucius told us to go back to the house and he disapparated from our side. Draco grabbed my elbow and we disapparated as well, and apparated in Lucius' study.

In Lucuis study, there is a map of the property that is within the barrier, which is basically the entire grounds, and when we got there, you could see the line show a bright gold color. Lucius stood before the map and tuned to look at us. He said, in all his years he has never seen the barriers with so much strength and the stitching shine bright gold. I stood there looking at the map, which was a tapestry and smiled. That was when Lucuis told me I was welcome to come to his study to read any of the tomes and gifted me a heirloom ring. It was a white gold black diamond with the Malfoy crest. Lucuis said it will allow me to come into this study and basically anywhere in the manor. I said even the cellar, and he gave me a look. I said I'm kidding. I said my thank you and put it on my right ring finger, and it resized itself. I knew it was goblin made and it was shiny.

That was the end of that encounter, and I went back into the sitting room, while I was walking back, I saw my reflection in the mirror and seen how I was dressed and my hair out of place. I was wearing black wrinkled trousers and wrinkle cream color blouse that was untucked and ripped at the shoulder seem. I pulled the hair tie out of my hair, and brushed my hair with my fingers and had a lot of knots, so I just put my hair in a low bun. I went to the sitting room and sat down and called for Suki and asked if she could bring me a pair of socks. I heard a little cough, and I turned and found Hermoine sitting in one of the chairs reading a book. I got up to leave when she told me to wait, I turned to look at her, and she asked me what I did. I said what do you mean, and she said Lucius seem startled when he left the sitting room with Narcissa, and wanted to know what I did. I just told her nothing, and she said Well I see you have a Malfoy crest ring on your finger, so it must have been something significant. For some reason, when I am around Granger, this anger flares up and I get irritated by her being. I said "Granger, I've been apart of this family longer than you. If my father wants to gift me a new ring, then I think he has every right to." Hermonie looked at me, and said, "I was just wondering, I could feel the change in the magic in the air, it's the only reason I am asking." I told her, well why don't you ask Draco during one of your pillow talks and left.

I had dinner in the dining room with Narcissa. I wanted to eat in my room, but I wasn't allowed too. We ate in silence and had lamb chops with potatoes and veggies. After dinner I went back to my room, took a shower and changed. I took my potions and writing in this, and going to lay down and make myself go to sleep before I go into some kind of depression because my husband hasn't come back yet. So I will end here.
