A new day began at Camp Wawanaka. The Screaming Gophers team was beaming and having a leisurely breakfast, while on the other hand, my team and I were tired and very sleepy, we could barely stay awake, not to mention some campers dropped their faces into the oatmeal from exhaustion.
"Duncan, you look terrible." Chris said with a smile looking at the Punk boy. Duncan could barely keep his eyes open.
"Fuck you." The Punk boy said before dropping his head on the table as Courtney yawned.
"Owen was farting all night." The girl said tiredly. Owen's gas was horrible enough that he forced us all to sleep outside by the campfire but that didn't help much since we had all lost sleep.
"Wow, four sleepless nights. How bad are you, buddy?" Chris asked with a smile but that irritated Duncan.
"Do you want to find out!?" The Punk boy yelled in anger causing the presenter to raise his hands still keeping his smile.
"No, no, no. It's okay." Chris said with a smile as the entire team except me were hidden under the table.
"Um, hey Benja." Tyler tried to touch me but suddenly I woke up and started growling with anger showing his fangs making the jocky teen freak out.
"Sorry Tyler. It's just that, if I don't get enough sleep, my kitsune instincts get out of hand and I start to get very territorial." I said before yawning and scratching my eyes.
"Oh, it's alright man. I'm sorry." Tyler said with a nervous smile but then we heard someone come in and we saw that it was Harold, but the teenager had a small detail that caught everyone's attention.
Harold began to walk through the dining room while everyone looked at the teenager in amazement but when the nerd sat down at his team's table, he noticed that everyone was giggling which got his attention.
"Very good. What happened?" The teenager asked with confusion seeing that everyone was laughing at something.
"They did something to your face, man." Geoff said making Harold look at his reflection in a spoon only to see a mustache painted on his face.
"Hey, nice mustache." Harold said with a smile as Duncan and Geoff fought not to burst out laughing at that statement.
"Look everyone. It's Gwen." Chris said as the goth girl entered the dining room to the applause of the entire Screaming Gophers team.
"Why are we clapping?" Lindsay asked causing everyone to break out in an anime style bead of sweat.
"I'm so tired, I can't feel my face." Gwen said before banging her head against the table.
"The feeling is mutual, Gwen." I said exhaustedly before going to pour myself a cup of coffee.
"This is a disaster. We've already lost two of our own. Sure, Eva may have had a hot temper but she was a strong, athletic girl." Courtney said looking at the confessional camera.
"Let's go over the rules one more time." Heather said looking at Beth and Lindsay.
"Rule number one: I'm the captain of this alliance, so I make the rules. Number two." Heather stared at the girls waiting for an answer.
"Breaking the rules can get you kicked out of the alliance?" Lindsay asked with a smile making Heather smile.
"Very good. And number three: I can take your stuff whenever I want, but. My stuff is off limits." The girl said with a smile but that made Beth and Lindsay hesitate.
"I'm not convinced by that last rule." The bomb girl said making Beth nod.
"Okay, I can change that rule. And I can also change one of you two to lead to the final." Heather said with a smile, but that made Lindsay and Beth very upset.
"Okay, do you want to have fun?" the girl asked with a smile making Lindsay and Beth smile.
"Hey fishheads. They sent off their best player, why don't you give up now, and save yourself the humiliation?" Heather asked with a smirk but that caused Courtney to throw some oatmeal at her. But unfortunately the porridge hit Gwen.
"You failed." The girl said still keeping her smile which annoyed Courtney.
"Arrogance will only lead to failure. The lack of players does not determine the determination and confidence of a team, the only thing I can determine is what we carry in our hearts and in our mutual trust." I said as I hand Gwen a cup of coffee and a napkin before sitting down at the table with my team.
"Please, what are you, a monk?" Heather asked with her eyes rolling as I drank my coffee.
"Alright campers, get ready. Your next challenge starts in ten minutes, and get ready to fight." Chris said with a smile making us all look at each other.
After breakfast we all went to the beach only to see a glass walled court, everyone except Duncan and me. But when the teenage Punk and I arrived, we sat down on the benches.
"Wake me up and it will be the last thing you do." Duncan said with venom before passing out causing my team to feel afraid but then they looked at me.
"Sorry guys. Normally I would be with you now, but. I need to rest." I said tiredly before falling asleep. That upset Courtney a lot.
"This is all your fault!! You and your fucking farts!!." Courtney yelled angrily looking at Owen.
"It's not my fault. It's the beans, I swear!" The teenager yelled in embarrassment. The stomach problems were a side effect of his sleepwalking episodes.
Suddenly everyone heard a whistle and saw Chef walking around in a referee uniform. The man gave the campers a serious and somewhat disappointed look before moving to Chris's side.
"Today's challenge is the classic game of dodge balls. The first rule of dodge balls is." Chris was going to speak but was interrupted by Noah.
"Don't talk about the ball dodge?" The teenager asked in a mocking way, that made Geoff and Harold laugh a little but it also annoyed the presenter.
"As I was saying, if the ball hits you, you're out. Chef, would you do a demonstration?" Chris asked before handing the ball to the cook. The man smirked before throwing the ball to Noah, the teen caught the ball square in the stomach but they all watched as Noah fell dry to the ground.
"Stop whining little girl. It wasn't even my strong arm." Chef said with a smile making everyone look at this in horror while Chris laughed a little.
"Let's continue. If the ball is caught, the opposing shooter is disqualified and the team can recover a team member that has been eliminated." Chris said with a smile before holding up another ball.
"Throwing balls, another mental challenge test." Noah said with some difficulty recovering from Chef's blow.
"I know. Right?" Lindsay asked with concern. That statement caused almost the entire team of hers to fall on their backs like an anime.
"Ahem, well. Geoff, here, try to hit me." Chris said before handing the partying teen a ball.
"If you have a ball, you can use it to reflect the opponent's ball, but if the ball falls out of your hands, you're out." Chris said before dropping his ball to the ground.
"Umm, what if the ball comes to me?" Lindsay asked curiously. Suddenly Geoff threw the ball hard to where Chris is.
"You dodge it!!" Chris yelled before reflecting Geoff's ball, unfortunately Lindsay couldn't dodge it in time and ended up receiving the ball to her head.
"Uff, you had to dodge it." Chris said seriously looking at the girl. Lindsay struggled to her feet while everyone looked with some pain at the bruise that the bomb girl now had on her head.
"Oh, it's fine." Lindsay said with some dizziness.
"You have one minute to choose your players. Screaming Gophers, you must bench one player." Chris said with a smile as everyone went to their sides of the court.
"Very good. Let's not let our guard down, even if The Killer Bass have the punk and that stupid fox asleep, they will try to beat us." Heather said seriously looking at the team.
"So. Who wants to sit on the bench with Sleeping Beauty?" The girl asked seriously looking at Gwen, ignoring the fact that such a statement upset the goth girl.
"Oh very well, I offer myself." Noah said as he and Gwen went to the bench.
Chef looked seriously at both teams. On The Killer Bass side, DJ, Katie, Tyler, Courtney, and Owen were ready to play, on the other hand, Screaming Gophers had Heather, Cody, Lindsay, Leshawna, and Harold in their place on the court.
"Fight fishies, or else winning three times in a row won't be satisfying." Heather said with a smirk making my team angry.
"Oh, they're going down. We'll put dinner on the table, and then we'll eat it." Tyler said seriously. However, his statement made the team look at him with an anime-style drop of sweat.
"Stop talking, and let the killing begin. Let's play!!." Chef yelled before blowing his whistle to start the game.
Cody started and quickly tossed the ball to Tyler, however the athlete managed to dodge it before glaring at Cody which made the little teen nervous. Tyler started to spin before accidentally throwing his ball into the banks, the ball was going to hit Sadie but the girl noticed that one of my tails stopped it just in time.
"Oh god, thank you Benja." The girl said but she noticed that I was sound asleep while my tail released the ball and I curled up on the bench to continue sleeping.
"Idiot. Now try to attack one of his team!!." Courtney yelled angrily before handing the ball to Tyler. But the teen was hit by Leshawna causing the teen to fall to the ground.
"Get off the field, you weak fish!!" Chef yelled before blowing his whistle as Leshawna high-fived Heather.
"Time to unleash my, abilities." Harold said seriously looking at Owen. That made the big teen laugh.
"Oh man, this will be great!!." The teen yelled with a smile before getting ready. Harold started doing karate moves before throwing the ball to the ground, however the ball only bounced until it was near Owen's feet.
"Sorry buddy, good luck next time." Owen said with a slightly nervous smile. Harold started to run but the teen was suddenly hit hard by Owen's ball causing the nerdy teen to hit one of the walls of the court.
"Nerdy boy, to the bank!!." Chef yelled before blowing his whistle as Harold scrambled to the bench.
"Have you ever played this?" Noah asked looking at Harold as the nerdy teen held his stomach.
"Someone remind me what I should do with this?" Lindsay asked before looking at her ball. However, the girl was suddenly hit by her own ball as Katie threw her ball causing her to hit the ball Lindsay had in her hands.
"Bomb Girl. Get out!!" Chef yelled angrily before blowing his whistle causing my team to cheer.
Tyler looked shyly at Lindsay before greeting her, the girl did the same with a shy smile but that annoyed Heather. Suddenly the jock boy was hit by a ball in his crotch causing Tyler to fall to the ground in pain.
"What was that!? I referred, he's not playing!!." Courtney yelled angrily causing Chef to look at Heather with a raised eyebrow.
"What was that!? Referee, he's not even playing!!" Courtney yelled angrily, causing Chef to look at Heather with a raised eyebrow.
"Oops, I missed it." The girl said with a smile but that angered Courtney causing her to throw a ball at Heather.
"Got it, sister." Suddenly Heather saw Leshawna's arm catching the ball making the girl smile. Suddenly everyone heard a whistle.
"Fish girl, get out!! Screaming Gophers, choose a player." Chef said seriously as Courtney went to the bench in annoyance.
"Gwen, come here." Heather said making the goth girl yawn before walking out onto the court. Unfortunately Gwen didn't last long as DJ hit the girl over the head while trying to hit Cody.
"Oh sorry!!." the teen yelled in concern as Leshawna helped Gwen to her feet.
"Okay, believe me." Gwen said with a smile before going to the bench to rest.
The match continued. Heather was disqualified when Katie hit her arm with a ball and now Leshawna and Cody are on Screaming Gophers, and DJ and Katie are on The Killer Bass. My friends attacked Leshawna, the girl was able to reflect Katie's attack but DJ's ball hit her in the stomach causing her to go offside.
Cody just watched in silence as Leshawna left but then he noticed Katie and DJ smirking. The boy smiled before starting to spin the ball many times before throwing it to DJ. The teen raised his hands only to see the ball spin around him before hitting him from behind.
"That's what I call a hard-to-dodge ball." Chris said in amazement at Cody's play.
The teenager began to rub the ball on his shirt generating electricity in the ball. When Cody threw the ball Katie started to run to avoid it but the girl looked with shock that the ball was following her, unfortunately the girl hit a wall and caused the ball to hit her.
"Point for The Screaming Gophers!!." Chef yelled before blowing his whistle as the rival team celebrated the victory while my team was disappointed.
"Come on guys, we can make it." Tyler said looking at her team but Courtney was looking at everything seriously.
"Oh, you know what I think? You suck!!." The girl yelled angrily looking at the adolescent athlete.
"Well, you throw like a girl!!." Tyler yelled which caused DJ and Bridgette to have to intervene to stop the two teens from starting to fight.
"30 seconds guys. Time is ticking." Chris said with a smile making my team look at everything with concern.
"Listen. Just give me the balls, I'll do the rest." Tyler said with a smile making my team look at everything with concern.
"I hope you know what you're doing." Courtney said as everyone returned to the court.
"Very good Noah, you continue." Heather said seriously looking at the teenager.
"You know something? I think you should go on without me, now you're on a winning streak and I don't want to ruin it." The teenager said with a smile making the girl roll her eyes.
"Very good. Anyone else?" she asked the girl only to see Beth raise her hand. Heather just nodded before joining her team.
This time. In The Killer Bass, Bridgette, Geoff, Tyler, Sadie, and Owen were ready, on the other hand, in Screaming Gophers, Izzy, Trent, Beth, Lindsay, and Justin were ready to play. However, the opposing team was confused that Tyler had all the balls in his hands.
"Round two!!. Let the killing begin!!." Chef yelled before blowing his whistle.
Suddenly Tyler began to spin before throwing all the balls in his hands. However, the balls had hit part of the opposing team on the bench, part of our team and had almost hit Chef and Chris.
"Hey, be careful with the makeup!!." Chris yelled angrily.
Regardless, one of the balls had managed to hit Lindsay in the face causing Tyler to stare in horror.
"No!! Lindsay, are you okay?" Tyler asked in horror as our team celebrated.
"Oh god, my face. Is it wrong?" Lindsay asked giddily. Everyone was petrified and some grimaced in pain when they saw the girl's face full of bruises.
"No, actually. You're still just as beautiful." Tyler said with a smile making the girl smile. Justin just walked over to the jock boy before gently tossing the ball into Tyler's back.
"Athlete boy, you and the bruise girl. Get out!!." Chef yelled causing Tyler to look at Lindsay with a smile.
"Umm, do you want to go for a walk on the pier?" The teen asked with a smile but Lindsay caught Heather's look in fear.
"Umm, maybe later. Thanks." Lindsay said before walking to the bench while Tyler sadly followed suit.
Heather.:
"Lindsay was falling into the arms of that attentive idiot. I must break those ties before we lose the lead." Heather said coldly looking at the camera.
"Enough of love. I want war, the game continues!!." Chef yelled before blowing his whistle.
"Cream pies, it's time. Let's play!!." Owen yelled before throwing the ball at Izzy and Beth causing the two girls to go offside.
Owen took the ball from Sadie's hands before throwing it to Trent causing the musical teen to be thrown out. Geoff smiled and handed the ball to the big teen while Owen gave Justin a serious look.
"Not in the face, not in the face!!." Justin yelled in horror only to see Owen punch him square in the face.
"Ouch, that's worth an instant replay." Chris said with a smile as production edited the video.
Production:
"Very good. Go forward, go back, go forward, go back, go forward. Hahaha, pause." Chris said just at the moment where the ball was buried in Justin's face.
"Oh man, that will leave a mark." The host said with a chuckle before returning to the court as the opposing team tried to catch their breath.
"Four kills in a row. The Killer Bass, win!!" Chef yelled as my team cheered and congratulated Owen.
"Hahaha, I don't know what happened to me." Owen said with a sheepish chuckle before joining the rest of the team.
"It's good to see someone rooting for our team." Heather said with annoyance looking at Noah. Unlike the others, he was the only one who was silent reading a book in the middle of the game.
"Come on team, let's go with those killer balls. Go, go." Noah said feigning a competitive spirit but that really annoyed Leshawna and Heather.
"Ugh. Fine playing fishy, but I still hope you can keep up with us." Heather said with a smirk but Courtney smiled back.
"Don't get too confident, I remind you that we are tied and we can still win this." Courtney said seriously as Heather laughed.
"We'll see about that, little fish." The girl said before meeting with her team. Courtney looked at our team for a moment making the girl sigh.
"Don't give up guys, we can still do it." Courtney said with a smile.
The game continued. Both teams had been fighting for hours to see who was going to win. Unfortunately for The Killer Bass, the Screaming Gophers team decided to attack Owen and DJ first because they were the strongest players they had which led my team to crushing defeats.
"This is horrible. One more game and it's over." Courtney said sadly looking at the scoreboard. The Killer Bass was 12 win games, while The Screaming Gophers were 19 win games.
"We need someone strong, someone evil, someone rude and ruthless, someone who will destroy them!!." Courtney yelled seriously but then everyone saw me and Duncan.
"Umm, no. If we wake them up, they'll most likely kill us. Especially Benja." DJ said looking at me.
"Oh please guys, it's almost dark, most likely Benja is already ready just like Duncan. They want to win too." Courtney said looking at DJ.
"Courtney's right guys. They are the last thing we have, we can possibly win with the ferocity and strength of Benja and Duncan." Harold said making the girl smile.
"Very good Harold. Wake up Duncan and Benja then." The girl said but that horrified Harold.
"I won't, they're going to kill me." Said the teenager with fear making the girl think of something.
"Very good. I have a plan, but we will need a branch." Courtney said before she left with the team.
After a few minutes, the boys had returned with a branch and began to sting me to try and wake me up.
"More up. If we can wake Benja up, he'll wake up Duncan." Courtney said before poking one of my eyes but that made me growl in anger. Suddenly my team saw my Kitsune hair, ears and tails covered in blue fire and suddenly they saw me release a blast of fire causing my team to dodge the attack.
"Let's find another, bigger branch. Change of plans." Courtney said fearfully looking at the burned branch on the ground.
The boys were now trying to wake Duncan up with the new branch. The Punk boy was upset while he was sleeping due to the touches with the branch.
"We're running out of time, let's go." Courtney said fearfully but then the girl and the entire team saw Duncan grab the branch before grabbing it and snapping it in anger.
"They better have a good excuse to stick that fucking branch up my nose." Duncan said with venom causing everyone to freak out except Courtney.
"Listen, we're losing the challenge. The opposing team only needs one point to win and we're way behind them. I know you need your nap, but we need you." The girl said seriously but that made Duncan laugh.
"And why should I help you, honey?" Duncan asked with a smirk but that annoyed Courtney.
"Because if we lose another challenge, you'll be the one to walk out of here, honey." Courtney said seriously making Duncan roll his eyes.
"Fine. But what about Benja? He's not helping either." Said the Punk boy watching me sleep.
"We tried to get him to wake up but. Let's just say he doesn't like to be disturbed." Owen said before pointing to the burned spot from my attack making Duncan laugh.
"That fox also breathes fire? Oh man, if it can also use electricity it will be my best friend." The Punk boy said with a smile looking at me.
"So, are you going to help or not?" Courtney asked seriously making Duncan roll his eyes.
"Fine, I'll play. But on one condition, they'll do what I say when I say it." Duncan said seriously making everyone smile.
"What's the plan?." Courtney asked curiously making the Punk boy smile.
"This is a strategy I learned on my first trip to juvie. It's called: Everybody About The New One." Duncan said with a smile before telling the team about the plan.
"Teams, to your places!!." Chef yelled earnestly as both teams went onto the court.
On our team, Duncan, Courtney, Owen, DJ, and Geoff were ready while on the other hand, on the Screaming Gophers team, Harold, Justin, Leshawna, Beth, and Izzy were ready as well.
"Last game, try to win fish. Let's play!!." Chef yelled before blowing his whistle.
The Screaming Gophers team began to attack by throwing the balls at Owen and DJ, but the two teenagers quickly dodged them while Courtney and Duncan took the balls from the opposing team. Heather looked at everything seriously until she saw that her team was out of balls.
"On the offensive, now!!." Duncan yelled making the entire team except him grab a ball. At that moment, everyone threw their balls at Harold, the teenager was petrified and received the balls causing him to fall to the ground knocked out.
Little by little, the entire team of Screaming Gophers were mowed down by The Killer Bass's throws until the last player fell.
"Team eliminated. The Killer Bass wins!!" Chef yelled causing my team to start celebrating me which irritated Heather.
"Come on, a little effort guys." Noah said in a deadpan manner ignoring the angry glares from his team.
"Don't believe it. We're still winning, one carelessness on your part and you're going to bite the dust." Heather said venomously but then she noticed Lindsay coming closer.
"I have to go to the bathroom." The girl said shyly causing Heather to pinch her nose.
"Fine, but go quickly." The girl said angrily as Lindsay left. Tyler noticed this and walked slowly out of the room before following Lindsay.
"Alright team. Hey, where's Tyler?" Courtney asked noticing the teenager's absence.
"I don't know. Maybe he went to the bathroom." Sadie said making Courtney roll her eyes.
"Fine. Never mind, Owen you're back in. Katie, Bridgette, you're in for Geoff and DJ." Courtney said as the team returned to the game.
Lindsay came out of the bathroom with a sad expression but the girl was surprised to see Tyler with some flowers.
"Tyler, what are you doing here?" The girl asked with surprise making the teenager smile shyly.
"Well. I wanted to see if you wanted to go to the beach with me now." Said the teenager with a shy smile making Lindsay see everything nervously.
"I must say no, I must say no." Lindsay whispered nervously before smiling.
"I'd love to." the girl said with a smile before leaving with Tyler to the pier.
Heather was clearly furious. Throughout all the matches, the Screaming Gophers team suffered from a crushing loss to The Killer Bass, to such an extent that the score was now almost even by one point.
"This is so unacceptable. We can't lose to those little fish shit, and where the hell is Lindsay!?" the girl yelled furiously before storming off the court.
Heather walked around the camp seriously until she heard a giggle from the pier and walked away only to be shocked and infuriated to see Tyler and Lindsay together.
"Oh Tyler, how cute." The bombshell said with a giggle as the teen was hugging Lindsay.
"This is so against the alliance rules. I warned you about it!!." Heather yelled furiously but it made Lindsay very nervous and surprised Tyler.
"I'm sorry, I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to do it!!." The bombshell girl yelled nervously.
"Hey, why don't you calm down?" Tyler asked seriously but the boy saw Heather pick up a canoe.
"Why don't you better dodge this!?." Heather yelled before throwing the canoe at Tyler before looking at Lindsay.
"And you!! You are officially out of the alliance!!." Heather yelled but it unnerved Lindsay.
"Wait, Heather. Give me another chance, please!" the bomb girl yelled before following the girl.
"There are no other chances. If you want to hang out with him then do it, but I won't give you another chance." Heather said angrily only to see Lindsay kneel in front of her.
"Please, just give me another chance. I really didn't want to go but he waited for me with some flowers and he was so sweet, I couldn't help it." Said the girl with tears but that made Heather discreetly smile.
"That means he followed you and you never noticed, huh? Lindsay, the fact that he's been waiting for you with flowers is nice, but he's also looking to take advantage of you." Heather said which got Lindsay's attention.
"Take advantage of me? But, how?" The bomb girl asked making Heather laugh.
"Just think about it. The way he hugged you, the way he followed you. Don't you think he was following you for something?" The girl asked causing Lindsay to touch her chin.
"Well. Many boys in my school gave me flowers and many sought to get my attention with dates." The girl said but that made Heather smile even more.
"Oh, Lindsay. Poor, innocent Lindsay. Guys are just a nuisance, a waste of time. The only reason they approach you, isn't it because they see certain features of you?" Heather asked before pointing to the girl's body.
"Are you talking about my body? Well, I don't know what would catch their attention. Although I always wake up with back pain and it's hard to put on a bra with these things." Lindsay said before touching her breasts causing Heather to have a throbbing vein.
"That's right. Lindsay, please. Tell me, Tyler is coming to you, to be your friend. Or, is he looking for something more daring with you? Just think about it, we've been here a few days, and suddenly Tyler comes to you to spend time with you alone and he hardly talks to you when we're with the others. Doesn't that seem weird to you?" Heather asked with a smile making the girl look at everything with concern.
"Are you saying that. Tyler doesn't want to be my friend?" The bomb girl asked but that made Heather smile even more.
"Sorry Lindsay. But, that's the way guys are. You don't have to be sad. Now let's get back to the game, and. I'll think about whether to include you in the alliance again, although you'll have to do something for me later." Heather said with a smile making Lindsay smile before heading back to the court.
Heather.:
"Lindsay is so naive. She's so easy to control like a puppet. Now I have to make sure she complies with what I want to ask of her and everything will be better." Heather said with a smile looking at the camera.
"Now sit back and wait to join the game." Heather said as Lindsay sat up. On the other hand, Courtney seriously watched Tyler return.
"Where the hell were you?" The girl asked seriously causing the athlete teenager to scratch the back of his neck in some pain.
"I went to drink water." The athlete said before greeting Lindsay. The bomb girl turned her head ignoring her greeting causing Tyler to lower his head.
"Well? How are we doing?" Heather asked only to see Trent fall to the ground after a flurry of balls.
"Sports aren't my forte, remember?" Noah asked with a smile but that irritated Heather.
"You know. You could at least make a stupid try and pretend you care about this." Heather said only to see Leshawna fall to the ground with the rest of the team.
"Very good teams. The score says it all, final round. Give your best effort and prepare your teams." Chris said while Heather was furious.
"Let's finish them off. We're not going to lose to those idiots." Heather said angrily before joining the team except for Noah.
"Alright campers. Send these to the lab, let's see what they're made of." Chris said with a smile that the teams were going to the field.
Both teams started playing. The Killer Bass was still using Duncan's strategy but unfortunately the Screaming Gophers had learned the strategy so they were more careful. Slowly the teams began to lose and recover players over and over again which made the player eternal.
"Come on team, come on, ra ra." Noah said but suddenly the teen went quiet as a ball hit him.
"You were right, sports are not your thing." Heather said with a mocking tone.
Katie quickly grabbed a ball and threw it to Cody but unfortunately and shockingly both teens got hit by a ball.
"Well. I didn't see that coming." Chris said with a smile looking at all the team members outside.
"Well, who won?" Leshawna asked exhaustedly making Chris smile.
"Chef?." Chris looked at his friend with a smile making the cook laugh.
"Round of slaughter!! Prepare a player who will fight for victory." Said the man with a smile making everyone look at this with shock and Chris laugh.
"You heard. Campers, you will have to choose a player who will compete in a final elimination round. Whoever has been less time and is not tired will have to play alone. You have a minute, good luck." Chris said with a smile as everyone looked at each other with concern.
"Now what are we going to do!? We don't have anyone!!." Courtney yelled in fear but then they all looked at me.
"We have no other choice. Benja is our only hope, but how will we make him wake up?" DJ asked concernedly as Duncan walked over to me.
"Duncan, what are you doing?" Courtney asked but the girl was horrified just like everyone else when she saw Duncan hit me on the head.
"Duncan, have you gone crazy!?" Katie screamed, but then everyone freaked out except the Punk boy when he saw me stand up with a murderous aura, eyes glowing blood red.
"Listen old man. You are the last one left of our team, I know you are still tired but I need you to do a favor for me." Duncan said but the boy noticed that I was growling and showing my fangs which made everyone back off while the Punk boy raised his hands.
"Listen, you're mad I know. And I know who hit you. It's Noah, from the other team, he made fun of us saying we're weak and I call you a pathetic fox. That's why I want to ask you a favor and make him suffer. " Duncan said with a smile while I glared at the rival team.
"Noah." I said with a tone from beyond the grave which made my team nervous but then I saw Duncan grab my shoulders.
"Alright, kid. Listen, here's the plan." Duncan said before whispering in my ear.
"Listen, bookworm. We already did our part and it's time for you to do yours. Unlike us, you're in better shape. So go outside and I hope you win." Heather said angrily while Noah just rolled his eyes before closing her book.
"Fine. I'll go, don't worry, I'm going to win this." Noah said with a smile as he and I walked onto the field but the Screaming Gophers team saw that I was on all fours like an animal as I growled.
"Very good. Benja, Noah. Good luck. Chef, do your thing." Chris said with a smile as Chef looked at me with a raised eyebrow and then at Noah.
"Monster child, bookworm. Make it rain blood, let the killing begin!!" Chef yelled before blowing his whistle.
"Let's get this over with." Noah said before throwing the ball but I quickly took mine and deflected the bookworm's throw.
"Don't just stand there, attack!!" Heather yelled causing Noah to keep attacking but I deflected all the shots with my ball until Noah was out of balls.
"Noah." Everyone saw that the lights in the place where I was began to fail and suddenly the bulbs began to burst until they left me in the dark.
"How dare you make fun of my friends. My team. And call me a useless fox. I won't forgive you." I said furiously as my hair and tails were covered in fire and Duncan watched with a smile seeing my ball covered in electricity.
"Wow, wait man. I never said that." Noah said nervously but then the teen gulped as he saw me growl.
"You're going to pay for this. I'll show you what this worthless fox can do!!" I yelled furiously while my ball was filled with electricity.
"Electrical Element: Lightning Cannon!!" I released a loud roar before throwing the ball causing Noah to shoot out and hit the wall of the court but everyone was petrified to see the wall break causing Noah to fall into the arena.
"The Killer Bass wins!!" Suddenly I heard screams of joy making my eyes stop shining.
"What? What happened?" I asked surprised but I was even more surprised when my whole team got up and started throwing me into the air with joy.
"Man, that was crazy. Impressive, or should I say, electrifying!!." Geoff yelled with a laugh as I looked on in confusion.
"What? What are you talking about, Geoff?" I asked surprised only to see Duncan laugh.
"We'll talk after that, man. That was awesome. Now everyone in the Jacuzzi!!." The Punk boy yelled as we left the field to go to camp to celebrate.
"Screaming Gophers. Too bad, it looks like you couldn't dodge a Kitsune's wrath. While you take Noah to the infirmary, I'll see all of you at the elimination bonfire in an hour." Chris said with a smile before walking off with Chef leaving the Screaming Gophers team alone.
Courtney.:
"It was to be expected that Benja would be confused. When a kitsune is sleeping he goes into a deep trance as if he were meditating, while that happens, his animal instincts can become stronger and alert as if he were still awake. Damn , perhaps studying Kitsunes is not as boring as I thought." Courtney said looking at the camera.
The moment arrive. The Screaming Gophers was now at the campfire next to Chris, Noah was now with an ice pack on his chest while everyone was looking at him with a smile or a bit of anger. The teenager had not been seriously injured but his ribs were going to hurt for a week.
"Screaming Gophers. You've made your decision. One of you is going home tonight, and you won't be able to come back. Never again." Chris said before showing the plate with the marshmallows.
"When you hear your names, come and get your marshmallow. Cody." The teen smiled happily before going to get the marshmallow from him.
"Harold." The nerdy boy smiled before going to get his marshmallow.
"Gwen." The girl approached and without saying anything took the marshmallow from her.
"Trent." The teen high-fived Justin before walking off to get his marshmallow.
"Beth." The farm girl smiled brightly before taking the marshmallow from her.
"Heather." The girl just smiled before taking a marshmallow and sitting down.
"Justine." The teen smiled and took the marshmallow from him before returning to his seat and high-fiving Harold.
"Izzy." The crazy girl laughed and ran to take the marshmallow from her.
"Campers. This is the last marshmallow of the night. And it's for." Lindsay looked at the marshmallow for a moment and then at Heather and Beth while Noah looked around with a confident smile.
"Lindsay." The bombshell girl looked at everything in surprise before running to take the marshmallow from her while Noah looked on in shock.
"What? They must be kidding!!." Noah yelled as the girl walked over to Heather and Beth.
"Well, you know what? I don't care, good luck. Because they just lost the only one with a brain on this team." Noah said but that got the teen hit by everyone's marshmallows.
"You have to learn a thing called 'Respect' you idiot." Leshawna said seriously as everyone laughed at Noah as the teen headed off down the losers' dock.
"Congratulations, Screaming Gophers. You're safe, for now. Good luck next time." Chris said with a smile before leaving.
"Heather. This means that." Lindsay looked at the girl making Heather smile.
"That's right, you're in the alliance again." the girl said making Lindsay scream before the bomb girl hugged her.
"Thank you, thank you so much Heather. I promise I won't let you down." The bomb girl said with a smile making Heather laugh.
"Thanks Lindsay, but this isn't free. If you want to stay here you have to do something first." The girl said with a smile which caught the attention of the bomb girl.
"Sure. What should I do?" Lindsay asked with a smile before hearing Heather whisper something in her ear. The bombshell girl was stunned before dropping the marshmallow on her.
"I trust you'll heed my warnings and do as I say. Trust me, Lindsay, it's for your own good and our team's." Heather said with a smile before leaving while the bomb girl was left in the disposal campfire petrified.
The night passed quickly. We were all in the cafeteria now while there was a storm at the camp. We were all having breakfast of some burnt toast with coffee and some burnt fried eggs with bacon.
"I can't believe it. I attacked Noah with a very dangerous attack, voltage, I was able to kill him." I said in horror as I looked at Duncan. The Punk boy had told me what happened yesterday and about our victory.
"Yeah but, I still have to admit it was amazing. God, I'm pretty sure you could destroy a whole house with that attack." Duncan said with a smile but the Punk boy noticed that I was horrified making him sigh before putting a hand on my shoulder.
"Listen, old man. I'm so sorry for lying to you and for hitting you, but we were in a moment of crisis. If we hadn't won, we would most likely continue our losing streak, not to mention you would have gone home." Said the Punk boy making me sigh.
"Yes it is true. I must be more attentive in the next challenges. I will not let them down." I said determinedly making Duncan smile.
"That's the attitude. Now eat, when the storm is over we can get some fresh air." The Punk boy said while we continued having breakfast but I noticed that Lindsay was not at the table with his team.
"That's weird. Where's Lindsay? I thought she was going to be with us." I said looking at my team but that got Leshawna's attention.
"You mean the white girl? She's in bed, she seemed kind of sad so we left her." Said the girl before going to her table.
"I'll go check on him." I said with concern before getting up and leaving the dining room while Tyler on the other hand looked at me out of the corner of his eye and then continued playing with his food.
"Dude, are you okay? You're not even touching your toast." DJ said looking at the teen but Tyler looked away.
"I'm fine. But, I'm not hungry, that's all." Said the athlete boy with a down tone which caught everyone's attention.
Lindsay was hugging her knees on the bed, the girl was playing with the flowers Tyler had given her before she heard a knock on her cabin door.
"Lindsay, it's me, Benja. Are you awake?" The girl walked to the door before opening it.
"Benja? What are you doing here?" The girl asked with surprise looking at me.
"All your team is in the dining room having breakfast except you. Leshawna told me that you seemed sad, is everything okay?" I asked curiously as the girl sighed and sat down on the stairs of the cabin.
"I'm sorry, Benja but. It's just, lately I've been thinking yes, all boys are the same." Said the girl sadly making me sit next to her.
"Why do you think of that, Lindsay?" I asked curiously making the girl play with the mud using a stick.
"It's just that. All my life, I had very notorious attributes due to umm, how do you say what we carry in our blood? Just like our family?" Lindsay asked in confusion before touching her chin.
"Are you talking about genetics? Your DNA?." I asked curiously making the girl look at me.
"Yes, that's exactly what my sister said once. Well, I always had problems having a relationship or friendships, because of these things." Lindsay said referring to her breasts making me blush a little and look away.
"I always have trouble getting to know a guy because of my breasts. Everyone always looks at me or is attracted to only that and not my friendship. Girls don't approach me and they always tell me to stay away from them when they're with their boys It makes me feel like I'm just an object." Lindsay said through tears causing me to put a hand on her shoulder.
"That's not true, Lindsay. I'm not lying, it's true that many times things about girls call our attention, but not all of us are like that." I said looking at the girl making Lindsay look at me.
"Guys, just like monsters, have the same tastes and stuff, but there are always monsters or humans who seek friendships regardless of how other people are. You already have friends here who see you as a person and not as an object." I said looking at the girl causing Lindsay to be surprised.
"It's true." We both looked ahead only to see Leshawna.
"Leshawna?" Lindsay looked at the girl in surprise as the girl sat between me and the bombshell.
"Listen, girl. We are all your friends, we care about you, not only as a member of the team, you are also a very nice and sweet person. And if you have been told that men are all the same, you are wrong, if it is true, many guys they like this, but not everyone. Don't think that everyone sees you as something, here everyone sees you as a friend." Leshawna said with a smile making me smile.
"It's true what Leshawna says, Lindsay. I thought it would be hard to admit because I'm a monster, but everyone doesn't hate me and I even made friends here and you, like Leshawna, are a friend to me." I said smiling making the bomb girl smile.
"Are they serious?" Lindsay asked with a smile making Leshawna smile.
"Very serious girl. You are our friend." The girl said with a smile making Lindsay hug us.
"Thank you, friends, thank you very much." Lindsay said with a smile making us smile before hugging her.
"No problem, friend. Now stop crying, what do you want to do to have fun?" The girl asked with a smile making Lindsay think.
"Well. When I was a little girl I really liked to go out with my dog to play in the mud in the rain." Lindsay said and suddenly the two girls noticed a glow in me and suddenly I transformed into Kitsune which surprised Leshawna and the bomb girl a lot.
"I enjoy the rain too. Come on Lindsay, let's play." I said smiling making the girl laugh before running inside to put on a raincoat.
"Hahaha, good. Come on Lavender, join us." Lindsay said with a giggle as the girl and I started to play making Leshawna laugh.
"Girl, my name is Leshawna. And brace yourself fox, you're not going to get away from me." Leshawna said before putting on a raincoat and starting to chase after me with Lindsay.
Everyone in the dining room heard laughter and looked out the window to see Lindsay and Leshawna chasing me.
"Man, that looks fun, I want to play too!!" Geoff yelled before running off with a laugh making Bridgette laugh.
"Me too, wait for me." Said the surfer girl as some campers also joined the game.
"Oh friend, get ready because you are going to fall." Duncan said before trying to catch me but I dodged.
"Try to catch me if you can!!" I yelled before starting to run causing almost all the teams to follow me while Heather looked on coldly.
"That stupid fox. Enjoy your fun time while you can, because I came here to win and I'm going to get rid of you no matter what." The girl said angrily before returning to the empty table, leaving her alone in the dining room.
