Chris couldn't contain his excitement. The man felt like a kid in a candy store who could eat whatever he wanted. In front of him, the host was looking at the figures of the program and they were extremely large figures. At that moment Chris heard something and saw Chef with some cards.

"Well Chef? How about our paychecks?" Chris asked with a smile from a hot tub. The cook rolled his eyes and approached the host.

"You mean your, paychecks. Where's mine, Chris?" Chef asked seriously making the host petrified.

"It will be here soon friend, relax." Chris said with a smile. But inside, he was scared. The host could already sense Chef's knife set if the cook found out that his paycheck was used to pay for the hot tub Chris was now using.

"It doesn't matter. In addition to the checks, I was reading an email that the producers sent." Chef said, which got Chris's attention.

"What do you say? If it's about the conditions and the food we give the campers it's not our problem, it was explicitly in the contract all this." Chris said bored while Chef took an open letter.

"It's not about that, it's about Benja. The Kitsune monster we've brought to the show." Said the cook, that caught Chris's attention even more.

"It won't be a request from people who want me to take Benja out of the program, right? Well, it won't happen, that boy is pure gold and I'm not going to let him go." Chris said before getting out of the hot tub.

"No Chris. Remember the little concert the brat did in the last challenge?" Chef asked seriously making the host laugh.

"How to forget it. It's on social media, it has literally millions of views." Chris said with a smile looking at his cell phone.

"Yeah, well. That brat happens to have magical abilities and all. And that's what I want to talk about." Said the cook, that made Chris see everything with confusion.

"The producers' letter asks that they please limit the use of Benja's Magic. And it's not to lie to you Chris, but you must admit that perhaps we made a small mistake and that is that we did not notice this magic. You literally have not seen recent comments? Chef asked seriously making Chris laugh shyly. That caused the cook to pat his face before sighing bitterly.

"Everyone agrees on one thing. Benja will win, for what reason? Magic, if that brat could generate fire, grow plants, manipulate electricity and create shields, it is more than clear that if he were alone against the others, he clearly would be the winner. Now do you understand what he said?." Chef asked seriously making Chris look horrified.

"That means the show will be too predictable, boring and repetitive. I'll be ruined!!" Chris screamed in horror. The mere imagination of losing everything. Big contracts, fancy cars, expensive meals, and first-class travel made the host freak out.

"Relax a bit, McLean. Just talk to Benja and limit his use of magic, unlike the other brats, he's the only one with patience and understanding in this camp." Chef said with his arms crossed making Chris nod.

"Okay, I'll talk to him later. Now I better tell the producers about this." Chris said before walking back to the hot tub before calling the producers.

A new day began in the camp. Everyone was looking dubious at today's breakfast. They were burnt fried eggs, burnt sausages and the orange juice was somewhat cloudy in color. Owen and I had no problem eating but many retched or just didn't want to eat.

While I'm eating I look to the side only to see a cameraman and a sound man. I had never wondered this, but why were these people here? And that was one of my many questions now that the subject crossed my mind.

"Nice, very nice. Who needs this fucking TV show and that disgusting prize?."

Since Eva said that, I began to have many doubts. The cameras, the lights, the absence of my friends here. I stopped eating to focus thinking about everything and analyzing in detail. My first doubt was the prize. One hundred thousand dollars? I was still very surprised by the fact that they offered that amount of money, it was more of an award for a reality show than for a camp.

The cameras?. For a moment I thought they were to watch over the camp so that we were all well and to warn of some catastrophe. But one day I saw Duncan threatening Harold for something the nerd did and no one came to help. That only further increased my suspicions.

Suddenly I was pulled out of my thoughts when a loud horn blared throughout the dining room.

"Alright campers. Put down your food and everyone head over to the elimination campfire. Your new challenge begins." Chris said over a speakerphone. We all looked at each other before leaving.

We are all now at the elimination campfire waiting for Chris. While some were chatting with each other I was looking around to see the cameras that were hidden everywhere.

"Alright campers. Take your seats." Chris said with a smile causing most of us to sit down while some of us are still standing.

"Very good guys. Today's challenge will be to see your survival skills in the open. I won't lie, someone will probably die in this challenge." Chris said with a smile which horrified everyone. But then we saw the host laugh.

"Just kidding. But seriously, be careful with the bears. We lost two interns in pre-production, now for this challenge you will have to go deep into the heart of the forest until you reach each team's camp. All you go what you need to get there is on this map with this compass." Chris said before handing the items over to Duncan and Heather.

"The first team to get back here, and alive. They'll have immunity. Let's move!" Chris yelled as some members of both teams started to walk away.

"Sister now I envy you. If there are bears here they will very possibly be turned into a rug by your little fox." Leshawna said looking at Courtney. The girl looked at me for a moment and nodded at what the other girl said.

"I had an encounter with a bear, let's just say that its head is a nice decoration on my fireplace and its fur is a nice rug." Owen said with a smile looking at our team.

"Oh that reminds me of the time I found a bear scavenging through our trash, it had old spaghetti all over its mouth which is funny since our neighbor's cat ran away that day too. But it turns out that cat was missing." Izzy said with a smile looking at Lindsay. What the crazy girl had said had left the bombshell girl very pale.

"Umm, you didn't eat spaghetti today, did you?" The crazy girl asked with a shy smile while Lindsay shook her head. Actually, the bomb girl was now hesitating if she wanted to eat spaghetti again.

"Gwen wait." I quickly approached the gothic girl making her look at me.

"Chris seemed very serious about the bears. I want to give you something, but you have to be very careful." I said before making a paper appear in my hand with the symbol of fire.

"It's a magical paper. It has a bit of my fire magic on it, if something happens just use it and say 'Fire Element: Dragon's Breath.' But you can only use it once." I said looking at Gwen while the girl took the paper.

"Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. Good luck to you in this challenge." The girl said with a smile before we all started to leave. But we never saw Chef.

"You haven't told the brat, have you?" Asked the cook while the cameramen followed us.

"How will I tell him in front of everyone? Just give me some time, I'll call him after the challenge. Until then he can do whatever he wants freely. Besides, he only gave Gwen a piece of paper. Most likely a phone number. " Chris said with a smile but Chef shook his head.

"I hope you know what you're doing, McLean. And where's my check?" the cook asked seriously. That made Chris very tense.

"Umm, I left it in the trailer. I'll be right back!!." Chris yelled before running off at high speed while Chef was clenching his fists in anger.

"I think I should take the map and compass, do you even know where we're going?" Courtney asked seriously looking at Duncan.

We were all irritated. We'd only been gone ten minutes from the camp and Courtney kept saying that she could better lead the team in finding the camp again and again, all so she could have the compass and the map.

"Oh Sadie, look. Blueberries!!" Katie yelled with a smile pointing to a bush full of blueberries.

"Oh I love, I love blueberries!!" Shouted the girl with a smile making her best friend laugh.

Katie And Sadie.:

"Sadie and I are BFF. We met in kindergarten and have never been apart since." Katie said with a smile making her best friend laugh.

"We always do things together. Like that time where we both had measles at the same time." Sadie said with a smile making Katie laugh.

"Oh yeah, I remember that. We were so itchy we scratched each other together." Katie said with a giggle as the two girls gave each other a hug.

"Katie, Sadie. We have to go to camp." I said looking at the two girls while they ate blueberries.

"Don't worry. You guys keep going, we'll catch up with you." Sadie said with a smile. Before I could speak DJ grabbed my shoulder.

"Come on man, they'll be fine." Said the teenager making me nod before we left.

Meanwhile in Screaming Gophers, Heather's eyes were red due to exhaustion. After she put my curse on her, the girl couldn't sleep well because the hallucinations were still on her eyelids. She could feel that every time she blinked those nightmares of her again appearing.

"She's the next to go." Heather said seriously looking at Gwen. That got everyone's attention.

"Who?." Trent asked confused, but that annoyed Heather even more.

"Who else. That bitch made that fucking monster do something to me, she couldn't sleep because of them." The girl said seriously but that made Trent tense.

"Well, you read her diary in public, isn't that cruel?" The teen musician's question made Heather stop causing everyone else to do the same while the girl clenched her fists in anger.

"She and her stupid friend are going down." The girl with poison said before continuing to walk. Trent looked at Gwen for a moment before quickly running over to where the girl is.

"Hey Gwen, can we walk together?" asked the teenage musician with a smile but the goth girl was a little serious.

"No. I want to be alone now." Gwen said seriously before walking faster which worried Trent.

Katie and Sadie were very full. The girls had eaten all the blueberries from the bush without leaving a single one, now the girls were leaning on a tree wiping their lips. But Katie's friend noticed something about her friend.

"Oh, umm good. I'll save them for another time." Katie said with a nervous smile. But the girl never noticed that Sadie lightly bit her lip before getting up.

"Okay. Umm, where did the team go?" Sadie asked before getting up as well as Katie. The two girls looked around only to miss us.

"Oh god, this is like that time we got lost at the mall, remember?" Katie asked with a smile making Sadie laugh.

"Yeah, they were so pissed when they found us two hours after the store closed. Hahaha, it was fun eating sweets without anyone seeing us though." the girl said before laughing with her best friend before freezing at the memory. They are no longer in a shopping center, they were now in a forest where there were bears.

"Killer Bass, where are they!?" The girls yelled at the same time in fear before starting to walk to find us.

"See? We got lost!!." Courtney yelled angrily as Duncan was still looking at the map before she smiled as she saw something.

"Oh, yes? Well princess, what is this?" The Punk boy asked before pointing to some rolled up tents on the ground.

"But where is the food?" Owen asked looking around with concern.

"It's a survival challenge, that means we have to look for food on our own. I'll go look for the food, everyone take charge of setting up the camp." I said before leaving as everyone started to work.

"I wonder if there really are bears around here. Haha, can you imagine if I make bear noises they'll come?" Owen said with a smile before starting to roar and growl pretending to be a bear.

"Oh man. Hahaha, look I'm a bear." Geoff couldn't help but laugh before starting to imitate a bear also making Bridgette laugh.

"Hush guys. Benja is gone and if a bear comes here you two will be his lunch." Courtney said earnestly making the two teens laugh sheepishly before continuing with the work.

"What is this? And the food?" Heather asked seriously looking at the ground. Streaming Gophers had arrived at the camp only to find the tents only.

"It is a survival challenge. We must look for food ourselves, it says so here." Trent said looking at the instructions. But that upset Heather.

"Whatever. Lindsay, Beth go get the food while we all help build the tents." Said the girl before starting to see her nails. But before the two girls could leave, Gwen stopped them.

"Don't worry, I'll go get the food." Gwen said with a smile before leaving. But when the girl left her smile disappeared.

Gwen.:

"I need some space, especially with that bitch Heather. I can't believe that bitch read my diary, ugh. I should have asked Benja for an even stronger curse." The goth girl said with her arms crossed and annoyed.

I was walking through the forest trying to find some food with my nose until I could smell something.

"Very good. This looks good." I said before using my roots to create a makeshift basket before starting to pick some blueberries.

I stopped for a second before taking a big leap into the nearest tree. I looked around before closing my eyes to concentrate.

"Revelation." I opened my eyes and suddenly my entire environment turned spectral. I looked through some bushes only to see some cameramen and sound men.

"Benja?" I looked down only to see Gwen, that made me jump down from the tree.

"Gwen? Is everything alright?" I asked out of curiosity only to see a few blueberries in a basket that the goth girl had.

"Oh yeah. I'm just collecting everyone's food. What were you doing up there?" Gwen asked curiously making me laugh.

"It's nothing. I thought I saw something. Do you want help collecting food?" I asked curiously making the girl think. She wanted to be alone now, but help was better.

"Of course, why not?." the girl said before we both start to leave to find food.

"You're still thinking about that, aren't you? You know, about the diary." I asked looking at Gwen. The girl was upset but she sighed to calm down.

"Yeah. It's amazing that bitch did that, ugh. Just thinking about it makes me want to ask you to put another curse on her." Gwen said seriously before we both started picking some blackberries.

"I know you're afraid now that everyone knows you like Trent. But you shouldn't be mad at Heather, she wants to control your friends and make them her puppets. She just wants to make things easier to go to the final." I said looking at the girl before we went to continue looking for food.

"I'm not surprised. In this fucking place there are only sluts, idiots, perverts, brainless jerks, useless nerds, pretty faces and manipulators. Ugh, at least Trent, you and some other people are the only sane people I can talk to." Said the girl looking at me as we slowly reached a river.

"That's very kind of you Gwen. To be honest, I never thought that all of you would accept me as a friend. I know that in Metropolis now everyone is used to seeing monsters, omnics and humans live together but. I thought I was going to be rejected here." I said looking at the girl as we both sat down.

"Well. I must admit I didn't expect to be in this competition with a monster either. Now I know that winning that hundred thousand dollars won't be easy if you and I make it to the finals together." the gothic girl said with a smile while I listened to everything with some seriousness and surprise.

"I understand. So, did you choose to come here to have that hundred thousand dollars, or is it for some special reason?" I asked looking at the girl making her think.

"Nothing really. I just thought 'What the fuck' I signed up to give myself some time to be able to separate myself from my mom and brother a bit, I love them but a lot of times I need my personal space. And you? Because a monster would be here in this island?." Gwen asked with a smile causing me to look at my reflection in the water.

"Me. I don't know, but I plan to find out." I said looking at the water. Gwen listened to that in confusion before looking at the river.

"The fish look good. How are we going to catch them?" The goth girl asked but then she saw that I hit a spear. Gwen looked at the weapon and could see that the body of the spear was amber in color and the spear was a silver color.

"Use my spear, I'll use something else to catch them. Just be careful with the tip, it's very sharp." I said before approaching the water. A turquoise glow covered me and the girl saw that now she had transformed me back into Kitsune before throwing me into the water to catch some fish.

The girl took off her boots before entering the water. She glanced at a fish for a moment before throwing the spear causing the weapon to pierce the animal's neck with ease. I was walking slowly before biting into one of the fish before throwing it on the river bank.

"How are you Gwen?" I asked with a fish in my mouth before dropping it along with other fish I caught but then saw the girl pick up a fish even bigger than mine.

"Look and cry friend. This one is bigger than those sardines of yours." Said the girl in a mocking tone making me laugh.

"Fine. If you're going to play like this I can do the same." I said before looking at a direction in the water. My eyes twinkled a bit before I shot a fireball causing a fish of the same size to come out of the water and land in front of me.

"Smug." the girl said with a smile before throwing water at me causing me to scream.

"It's cold!!." I yelled as I quickly shook off the water while Gwen laughed.

"Maybe you had a bath today, little fox." The girl said with a smile making me smile before getting into an attack stance.

"How curious. Because I think you are too!!." I yelled before shooting Gwen with a water shot causing the goth girl to fall into the cold water.

"Oh, you're dead benja." the girl said with a defiant smile making me laugh.

"You want a rematch from the other day? Go ahead Gwen, try to catch me if you can." I said before starting to run into the water while the girl followed me.

"I'm going to catch you this time Benja, you won't get away from me easily." The goth girl said with a smile before following me. Everything was seen by Duncan and Leshawna, both teenagers were smiling watching us playing before leaving with wood in their hands.

Leshawna.:

"That girl deserves a break. After what happened last time in that talent show I saw that that white girl was very tense so I'll let her have fun with Benja." Said the girl with a smile looking at the camera.

Duncan.:

"Oh man, that Kitsune is a magnet for girls. Say what you want, but girl will soon have that little fox as a pet." The Punk boy said with a smile before laughing.

Time passed. It was already noon, Katie and Sadie were still lost trying to find the team, or even the rival team.

"You know where we're going, right?" Sadie asked exhaustedly. The girl was hungry and very thirsty.

"Yes. Well, not really. Haven't you noticed that all trees are the same?" Katie asked curiously looking around her. The girl could swear that she saw the same fallen trees three times.

"Ugh, I knew I couldn't trust you to find the others. Last time I trusted you to take us aside we got lost, ugh. Because of you we never managed to get those bags on sale." The girl said but that surprised and at the same time it also annoyed Katie.

"Excuse me? Are you saying that we got lost because of me?" The girl asked with surprise and anger as Sadie brushed dirt off her shoe.

"Well yes, you're not good at orienting yourself." Said the girl looking at her best friend. That only made Katie even angrier.

"Very good, Miss Expert. Guide me to the camp, if you're so smart." Katie said seriously but then they heard something from the bushes.

"Must be one of the guys. Hey, good we found you." Sadie said but by accident the girl stepped on something causing a grunt.

A turquoise glow appeared and slowly something began to come out of the bushes. The two girls were startled as they saw eyes glowing blood red with a dark aura while giant sharp fangs came out of the beast's mouth.

"Runs!!." The two girls ran as fast as possible while I slowly calmed down as I quickly recognized the two girls.

"Those girls were Katie and Sadie?" I asked in surprise but then I felt something touch my back and I saw that it was Gwen.

"Bad luck Benja. Try to catch me now if you can." The girl said before running off making me laugh before following her.

Our camp was getting better and better. Bridgette, Courtney, Geoff and Tyler were making the tents, Owen and Duncan had gone for firewood and DJ had gone to answer the call of the wild but the teenager had also offered to look for food.

"What's for dinner woman. I'm starving." Duncan said with a smile looking at Courtney. But that statement upset the girl.

"I hope you're not expecting me to answer that question. For your information DJ and Benja left to look for food two hours ago, where the hell are they?" Courtney asked seriously making Duncan laugh at the memory of Gwen and me playing together.

"You wouldn't believe me if I told you." The punk boy said with a smile while the girl rolled her eyes.

"Wow. You make tents like a boy." Geoff said with a smile looking at Bridgette. A great silence was present in the place, all the boys had an anime-style bead of sweat while Courtney pinched her nose in embarrassment.

Geoff.:

"Do you make tents like a guy? Oh come on man." Geoff said in disappointment before hitting his face in embarrassment.

"I mean. You're not picky and that kind of girl thing." Said the partying teen with a nervous smile but it didn't improve the environment.

"Hey guys. Check this out." They all saw DJ come back but in his arms was a rabbit.

"Oh well, I've never had rabbit stew but there's always a first time for everything." Duncan said with a smile but that disturbed the teenager who had the bunny in his arms.

"Oh no, you're not going to cook Bunny, he's my friend." DJ said fearfully. However, that irritated Courtney.

"Perfect. You brought no food but a stupid rabbit. Where the hell is that silly fox!?" the girl yelled in annoyance causing Duncan to put a hand on her shoulder.

"Calm down princess. Kitsune is busy looking for food, he'll be back." The punk teen said looking at the girl as Courtney pushed Duncan's hand away in disgust.

"Good. Let's get back to work, I just hope you don't make a mistake." The girl said before continuing to build more tents.

"Come little fox, little fox." Gwen was shifting through the bushes with a smile while I was trying to hold back a giggle.

"Here you are!!." The girl looked to the side but I wasn't there. Before the girl could turn I jumped on her causing us both to start rolling on the ground.

"Hahaha, you fox, once I catch you, your tails will decorate my fireplace." Gwen said with a giggle but that made my fur stand on end before she jerked me away.

"Wow, Benja what." The girl froze seeing me growl and bark in a territorial manner with electricity covering my fur. That made Gwen throw up her hands in fear.

"Benja, it's me Gwen. We're friends, remember?" asked the girl with fear. Slowly the scent of her reached my nose causing me to slowly relax before returning to my original form.

"Benja." The girl noticed that I approached my basket before taking it. I stretched out my hand and the spear that was on the ground went straight into my hand before making it disappear.

"My team is starving. I'm sorry." I said before starting to walk but the girl looked at me with concern.

"Hey, Benja wait!!." Gwen tried to follow me but I went quickly jumping through the branches.

"What did I say? Was what I said to him too offensive? Shit, I have to apologize to him as soon as possible." Gwen said with concern before leaving the place.

Night came to the camp. My team was calm and relaxed eating while I meditated trying to calm my kitsune instincts. Although everything seemed normal, there was a certain detail that the boys and I never noticed.

"Fine. But I remind you that if it weren't for me, you would never know where the mall is." Katie said seriously looking at Sadie.

"For your information I know where to find the mall. And I remind you that if it hadn't been for me you would never have signed up for this show." Katie's friend said with her arms crossed but that annoyed the other girl.

"Oh please, I didn't want to come here. I had big plans for this vacation but no, I decided to stay next door because you're a coward." Katie said seriously making Sadie laugh.

"Coward? Yes, of course, whatever you say skinny." Said the girl with a smile but consequently by not seeing the path by accident she ended up colliding with a spider web. Sadie was going to remove the cobweb but the girl was petrified when she saw a giant spider now on her face causing her to scream with all her might.

"Did you hear that?" I ask while looking at the forest. On the other hand, Brigitte quickly hugged Geoff in fear before pulling away with a blush as the party boy laughed sheepishly.

"You know something? This all reminds me of a horror story I heard a long time ago." Duncan said with a smile making us all approach the campfire.

"Incredible, come on old tell it." Geoff said with a smile making the punk boy laugh.

"Are you sure? Because it's a very strong story." The Punk boy said making Courtney roll her eyes.

"Please. We have a Kitsune here, do you remember what happened in the dodge ball challenge? How scary can it be?" The girl asked with boredom while I was embarrassed.

"Very good. But then don't say that I don't know, I warned you." Said Duncan years of beginning to tell the story.

Streaming Gophers was having a nice night cooking Gwen's food. Although Trent was grateful that the goth girl was better now, he couldn't help but feel worried when he saw that she was thinking about something and still reading a book.

"Ugh, so hungry. It's your fault, weird girl, for bringing the food so late." Heather said angrily looking at Gwen. But the gothic girl didn't care.

Suddenly everyone saw something flying and were horrified to see that creature in the sky. The monster fell at high speed making everyone scared but then they saw that the creature was wearing a delivery man's uniform.

"Yes. I have two large salami and one vegetarian." said the gargoyle with a note.

"Dude. This way." Everyone turned only to see the recording crew.

"Man, be more specific next time where the island is. I had to fly all over the area to find that stupid place." The gargoyle said annoyed while the monster delivered the pizzas before receiving his pay and a tip.

"Yeah, sorry, there's a tip for your trouble." After that statement the gargoyle flew away without saying anything.

"It's a joke right?" Heather asked angrily, thinking it was Chris's plan.

"Ugh what a scare." Cody said with a smile hugging Gwen. But the goth girl had a throbbing vein.

Everyone suddenly heard a loud bang before seeing Cody fall dry to the ground with a swollen cheek due to a blow from Gwen's book while the girl went to a tree to continue reading.

"And suddenly, a Tap, Tap, Tap is heard. On one side of the car, the girl started to get scared and even the boy started to get scared. So they started the car and left as fast as they could, when they got to the girl's house when the door opened she screamed because there hanging from the door handle was that murderer's bloody hook."

Everyone was very scared while I had a smile enjoying the story. DJ and Bunny were trembling in fear, Geoff was trying to salivate and Owen was biting his fingernails in fear.

"It is said that the murderer is now prowling the forest in search of his next victim. And maybe, he is right. Here!!." Duncan yelled before showing a grappling hook. That made everyone scream but we heard a very loud female scream, we all turned only to see Tyler petrified in his seat.

"That was a great story. It reminds me a lot of a case I heard a long time ago." I said smiling making everyone look at this curiously.

"Really? Whose?" Duncan asked but then everyone saw that my smile disappeared and I looked at the fire seriously.

"Um, man." Geoff was going to speak but then they saw me sigh.

"It happened years ago. More precisely in the Victorian era. There was a duchess, her beauty was the envy of all the women in the city. Before a peasant, the woman was engaged to an important duke who fell madly in love with her beauty. Loved by children, by young people. That woman had everything, but no one knew the secret of her beauty." I said coldly looking at the fire.

"And what secret was it?" Owen asked with curiosity and fear, making the atmosphere colder.

"Three years after their marriage, the duchess was left a widow after it was discovered that her husband died due to unknown causes. The woman became the owner of the duke's company, but everything was seen as a bad eye by the townsfolk causing the woman to be guilty of her husband's murder. The anger only grew when the police testified the woman's innocence."

"Those children who used to love her now were against her, due to what her parents said. At the age of youth, innocence disappeared and those childish and innocent figures turned into wicked and shameless malefactors who harassed the poor widow and laughed at her miserable moments. As the straw that broke the camel's back, the company closed due to bad decisions."

"How awful." Bridgette said sadly listening to everything.

"Alone, devastated, with debts that did not let her sleep, the constant noise of people now unemployed because of her, the irritating constant hearing those disgusting laughs that those children she loved before, those looks full of fury and rejection. The beauty disappeared, and nothing was left of the duchess. They had all turned their backs on her when she gave them her love. Something I never forgive."

"With the passage of time something happened with the closure of the factory. The young people were afraid, the activities of those vandals had fallen greatly, silence was returning to that town that had lost it before. The Duchess had created her own factory and exported its products, everyone was curious about that discovery and wondered what she had done."

"One night. The Duchess had called all the townspeople to spend a night in the huge mansion as a celebration of her new job. All the adults attended the gala in the finest clothes they could have owned, the place was as fine and perfectly well-kept as ever but the most striking thing was that in front of everyone, the Duchess was there."

"That enchanting smile, those bright scarlet eyes, a beautiful burgundy dress, her long crimson hair, and her snow-white skin. In front of everyone was no longer that devastated and abandoned woman, now there was a woman whose beauty never left her."

"She began by saying that she was pleased and overjoyed that everyone was here, expressing with each touching word her great happiness that everyone was present on her special day. She explained in her own words that it was all due to an idea that she herself created, a way that beauty would never disappear and that even someone older would look years younger."

"As a token of gratitude, he asked that all his servants bring samples to the guests. Everyone noticed them, each servant seemed malnourished, almost exhausted and weak. But no one paid any attention to them, it was evident, so much time without money was enough cause for famine. But there was an even more striking detail, and that was that each jar with the sample. It had the names of their children."

"Suddenly, the atmosphere that used to be partying became gloomy and cold when suddenly, as if from a demon, the Duchess began to reproach each guest, accusing the actions they had taken, but above all, encouraging her children to chance after that woman had opened her heart to each of them, only to receive a stab in the back."

"Everyone felt guilty about their actions, but then the Duchess spoke, explaining that she understood the reasons and showed signs of complete comprehension despite her actions, which managed to calm things down before the women at the party began to smear the pink cream on their faces."

"The women were amazed. The cream was so soft, so moisturizing, as if the wind caressed their cheeks with the delicacy of silk. Without hesitation, the women asked to buy the product but the Duchess spoke saying that they had to wait until the end of the gala."

"Drinks came and went, the food was not long in being served, the guests, although some were now intoxicated, were confused by the sudden absence of the Duchess in food and drink. At one point, a drunk in his purest state opened a door to the mansion and it was at that moment, that all hell broke loose." I said coldly while everyone trembled.

"The room was a veritable slaughterhouse. Bloody clothes in one corner, bodies cruelly slit, disemboweled and mutilated like animals, torture devices throughout the room, it was a spectacle that caused the deepest nausea of all. The most sober instantly recognized the young people. They were their children who had disappeared."

"When the authorities arrived at the scene, that carnage was just the tip of the iceberg. In the kitchen, other teenagers were found guilty of having robbed and insulting the Duchess, the most horrifying detail was the lack of tongues in their mouths, the adolescents in that slaughterhouse had been accused of having mocked the Duchess's malnutrition and lack of food. But there was one place, which was the most horrible of all."

"The bathroom. The room was gigantic with a large pool inside, but the most morbid and repulsive thing was that hanging from butcher hooks were young women. Women, who had boasted of their beauty to the poor woman they loved before."

"Devastated, horrified, but most of all, enraged. They all searched for the duchess, but it didn't matter where they looked. The woman never turned up." I said coldly as everyone hugged each other in fear.

"But what happened to her?" Owen asked fearfully as I played with the fire.

"Some say that she was captured and burned for her actions. But it is said that her vengeful ghost still roams the living seeking justice and murdering anyone who dares to mock her and her spirit. Now she wanders among us looking for young people to never lose her beauty."

"Since that day. Her case was filed in my school library as a real case, and she was called Bloody Mary." Suddenly the fire rose to a strong blood red before it died down.

"Benja? Was it you? Hey, this is not fun!!." Courtney yelled angrily looking around her before hugging the person closest to her only to feel something fall into her arm.

"Calm down honey, mommy takes care of you." When the fire returned Courtney looked at a woman with pale skin, crimson hair, bright scarlet eyes but with an almost skull-like, gaunt face. That made the girl scream in horlrr before jumping into Duncan's arms as everyone screamed in horror.

"For all the shellfish. Take me!!" Owen yelled before getting in front of everyone but then they saw the woman laugh.

"Guys please calm down." Suddenly the female figure began to change shape and everyone saw me now with red hair and scarlet eyes.

"It's just a shapeshifting spell." I said in a feminine voice before laughing as my voice slowly returned to normal. Duncan suddenly started laughing before walking over to where I am.

"Oh man. You are crazy." The Punk boy said before giving us a high five. But then we heard something fall and we saw Tyler on the ground with his soul leaving his body.

"You two are brutes!! Do your parents like you at least?" Courtney asked seriously but that made me look away in pain while Duncan looked bored at the girl.

"I don't know princess. I haven't asked them lately." The punk guy said but then they saw me walk back to my seat.

"Sorry, I just wanted to have a good time." I said sadly as Owen gave me a friendly hug. They all glared at Courtney while the girl was confused.

"That?." Was all the girl said looking around her awkwardly.

"Baby, you have to learn a lot about being careful with your words." Duncan said looking at the girl in her arms seriously.

"I'm not your girl. Put me down right now you idiot!!" Courtney yelled in annoyance. Duncan shrugged with a smile before letting go of the girl causing her to fall hard to the ground.

At the Screaming Gophers camp things were much better. Everyone was now eating quietly, no one spoke much so as not to break the peace and silence. But it all ended when they heard something move in the bushes.

"What was that?." Leshawna asked with some fear looking at the bushes.

"It must have been Izzy, she went to do her thing in the woods, remember?" Trent asked looking at everyone but Beth was unsure.

"But that was half an hour ago. What if it's a bear like Chris said?" the farm girl asked fearfully before hugging Lindsay. The bomb girl accepted the hug with fear.

"Please. It must be an intern Chris sent to scare us, or it could even be that stupid fox trying to scare us." the girl said before walking into the bush but then she let out a horrified cry as she saw something.

"A, a bear!!." the girl yelled making everyone scream in horror.

"Everyone to the tree!!." Heather yelled before starting to climb the tree like everyone else.

"What are we going to do now!?." Trent yelled in concern as he watched the bear approach the camp.

"Don't worry. I'll handle this beast." Harold said before lifting his chest proudly.

"Sorry bean, but I highly doubt your chopstick arms can handle a bear." Leshawna said bored but then the girl had to catch Harold as the bear roared causing the teen to jump into the girl's arms.

"Oh god, what if he ate Izzy?" Cody asked fearfully making Lindsay cry.

"Great, so that means our fish won't be eaten then." Heather said without interest. That statement impacted everyone present.

"What? You've never heard of the law of the strongest?" The girl asked looking at everyone but then they noticed that the bear seemed eager to eat the fish that was being cooked.

"Hey, that's our fish. Stay away!!." Heather yelled angrily but then everyone heard something snap and saw the branch Leshawna was on snap causing the girl to fall dry to the ground.

"My God, the bear will eat Leshawna!!." Beth screamed in horror before everyone started yelling for the girl to go back up the tree.

"Umm, cute little bear. Somebody help me!!." Leshawna yelled in fear. Gwen stared at her book for a moment before throwing it at the bear's head causing the animal to fall to the ground.

"Ugh, and whoever said television is harmful didn't know how harsh literature can be." They all looked at the bear as they recognized a certain voice. They got closer only to see that the animal was actually Izzy.

"Izzy!?." The girl started laughing before getting up.

"But what happened to you? We were worried." Trent said looking at the girl.

"Oh very easy. I got lost trying to find my way back, I found a trailer full of costumes so I took this bear costume, I thought it was weird that many guys with cameras ran away when I wanted to ask where you were, the worst thing was that the bear head got stuck and I couldn't get help so I walked around a bit." Izzy said with a smile looking at everyone.

"What the fuck are you? Crazy!? Why didn't you speak when you came with us!?." Gwen yelled earnestly before picking up her book from the floor.

Izzy.:

"I know y'all don't like what I did but it was really fun to see them so scared thinking I'm going to eat them and me acting like a bear, growling and all." Izzy said before making animal noises on camera.

Time passed. My team was resting in the tent while I was out sleeping in a rather peculiar way. Suddenly Bridgette got up and looked out of the store with some nervousness and fear.

"What's wrong? Do you need to pee?" DJ asked looking at the surfer girl.

"Yes but, I'm afraid to go out." Said the girl with fear looking at the teenager.

"Yes me too." DJ said sheepishly before showing a small vial of urine.

Bridgette slowly walked out of the tent as she could no longer keep her needs down. The gloomy atmosphere, the darkness that seemed endless, the wind that sent chills down her back didn't help at all. The girl looked ahead only to see something hanging upside down. Suddenly some scarlet eyes shone like others but smaller.

"Bridgette?" The girl yelled loudly which startled some bats causing the animals to leave but by accident a bat attached itself to her face causing Bridgette to accidentally hit the campfire. That caused a small hot stone to bounce back to hit the tent causing it to burn completely.

"Bridgette, are you okay?" The girl recognized my voice and then noticed that I slowly climbed down from the branch she was sleeping on.

"Benja? But, you." The girl was speechless from what she saw making me laugh shyly.

"Sorry about that. It's just that, many times when my older sister and I go camping we usually sleep like this. I usually sleep on the ground but I thought it would be okay to sleep like before." I said sheepishly but then we heard footsteps before seeing Courtney.

"What the hell is wrong with you!? Are you part of a crazy family or what!? Because of you now our country store burned down along with all our stuff!!." Courtney yelled angrily looking at me seriously but I slightly clenched my fists at that.

"Wow, calm down sis. Our friend didn't do anything wrong." Geoff said looking at the girl as everyone slowly woke up.

"No!! Nothing is right. That story, Bridgette's scare. That idiot is a monster who thinks what he's doing is right, I don't even think his parents tolerate it." Courtney said but then the girl was knocked down by me.

"Never." Slowly my body began to glow a crimson red hue and I began to shapeshift into my Kitsune form but my fur was dark as night.

"You speak badly." My eyes flashed and slowly a murderous aura began to cover my entire body.

"Of my family!!." I yelled furiously, releasing a loud roar that caused Courtney to back up into a tree.

"Wow man, calm down!!" DJ and Duncan quickly stopped me when I started barking and growling furiously at Courtney. I slowly began to calm down and looked at the girl with poison.

"Do what you want. I don't even know why I'm here. I just know that some friends told me it was going to be a fishing trip and I ended up here. I never decided to be here." I said coldly before leaning against a tree as everyone looked at this in shock and concern.

"Princess. That was too low." Duncan said seriously looking at Courtney which surprised the girl.

"What!? Didn't you see that!? Besides, he tried to kill me!!." the girl yelled seriously but she only managed to make the Punk boy shake his head.

"He wouldn't do it. I saw his eyes, I recognize that look from juvie. If he went against you with the intention of killing you, DJ and I would surely be dead too. Also, since you mentioned his family, I saw that he hurts about that topic and the fact that you said it to his face is a very low understatement." Duncan said looking at the girl seriously.

"Come on guys, you all saw it. Support me." Courtney said looking at her classmates.

"It's true what Duncan said. Benja said that the way he sleeps hanging upside down is due to something he does with his sister. Besides, he always seeks to help us, he never seeks to do us anything bad." Bridgette said seriously looking at the girl.

Seeing that no one was on her side, Courtney only grunted in annoyance before trying to search through the burned debris. However, no one noticed that I had a smile looking at my friends.

Me.:

"This is a big important step for monsters. My people are scared to go out into the outside world for fear of being rejected, unlike Courtney, the rest of Killer Bass are a clear example that there are good people around the world. It fills me with happiness to know that there is still a place in the world for monsters and humans to live together." I said with a smile looking at the camera.

Peace returned to the Screaming Gophers camp. After what happened with Izzy they tried to help the crazy girl out of the costume but unfortunately they couldn't do it so they left the girl in the costume, something that didn't bother Izzy.

"Thank you, I love fried fish." Izzy said before starting to eat the food. Everyone felt a deep chill, the way the girl was tearing up the food was somewhat chilling.

Suddenly they heard an animal growl and from the bushes a bear came out before starting to sniff Izzy, that made the crazy girl laugh.

"Oh man, that's a good costume and here I thought mine was better." the girl said with a smile before giving the fish to the bear.

"Must be Chris trying to prank us. Nice old try." Trent said with a smile looking at the bear.

"Haha, yeah. Nice try man." Cody said before touching the bear's nose causing the animal to get a little angry and start growling in a threatening manner.

"Umm, guys. Don't you think that bear costume has a touch, realistic?" Gwen asked with concern looking at the animal.

"Chris, he said there were bears here." Heather said fearfully making everyone start to back away except Izzy.

"Come on guys, I was in the woods all night and I didn't find any. Look, this fur is most likely fake too." the girl said before pulling a piece of the animal's fur causing everyone to freeze.

"Wow, the fabric is so much softer." Izzy said but then the bear roared in anger causing the hair to fall back on the crazy girl's face.

"Forget what I said. Run!!" Izzy yelled in fear causing everyone to quickly run for the tree once more as the bear followed them.

"What shall we do!? We are dead!!." Beth yelled tearfully as everyone stared at the animal in fear.

"Don't worry, look on the bright side. That bear doesn't know how to climb." Cody said with a nervous smile but then the boy peed his pants as the animal began to climb.

"Thank you very much wet pants. Now we are dead!!." Heather yelled in anger and fear as the animal continued to climb.

"Go away!!." Gwen threw the book at her and they all did the same with her shoes to try and scare the animal but only made it angrier. The gothic girl at that moment looked at a paper in her book and remembered my talk with her that morning.

"It's a magical paper. It has a bit of my fire magic on it, if something happens just use it and say 'Fire Element: Dragon's Breath.' But you can only use it once." I said looking at Gwen while the girl took the paper.

"Guys. If I don't survive, run." Gwen said before climbing down from the tree and running quickly to the book to take the seal I gave her.

"Not Gwen!!" Trent screamed in horror. When the gothic girl touched the seal, the girl saw the paper disappear but a heat covered her whole body as if she were now fire.

"Hey, bear!!." Gwen threw her book at the animal causing the now angry beast to look at the goth girl angrily.

"Benja please I hope you're not wrong." Gwen said fearfully before standing to attention and remembering what I told her.

"Fire Element: Dragon's Breath!!" Gwen's hair began to be covered in dark fire. Slowly the girl felt heat rise up her throat and into her mouth before she unleashed a powerful blast of fire on the bear. That made the animal run away scared.

"Gwen, that was amazing!!" Trent yelled with a smile as everyone cheered but then they noticed something and the tent was on fire.

"Ugh, fantastic. Well done dragon girl, now what else can happen!?" Heather yelled angrily. Suddenly thunder resounded in the place and it started to rain, which made everyone sigh with annoyance.

Look worried at my friends. DJ was holding a sheet to cover everyone from the rain. I slowly got closer and a turquoise glow covered me, before anyone knew it they were all hugged and covered by my Kitsune tails.

"Benja?" Geoff looked at me and I opened my eyes looking at my friends.

"I know we are different. But I look for the union between monsters and humans, and you are the clear example that there is a place in the world for my people. Also, you are my friends, and also part of my family." I said looking at everyone. That made Courtney bite her lip before sighing.

"Benja. Sorry for what I told you, I didn't mean to hurt you like that." the girl said with embarrassment making me nod.

"That is in the past. Now, everyone sleep. Tomorrow we must return." I said as we all fell asleep.

"Look. A cave, I told you. There must be a cave here." Sadie said with a smile as the girl entered the cave while Katie angrily entered.

"Yeah sure. After I told you about twenty times. But no, the smart woman didn't listen to me until it started to rain." the girl said angrily before sitting down to calm down a bit.

"Good. I think we'll be safe, now. We'd better divide the blueberries I brought until we find the team tomorrow." Katie said but when she searched her pocket she didn't find the blueberries which shocked her a lot.

"Wait, and the blueberries!? But, I was supposed to have them saved for myself and." Katie heard nibbling and turned only to see Sadie eating all the blueberries.

"Umm, excuse me. Will you?" I asked Sadie before showing her a blueberry. Internally in Katie a thread was on the verge of breaking, and Sadie's declaration made that thread break completely.

"What's your problem fat cow!? Those blueberries were for Cody and me!!." Katie yelled furiously but that made Sadie angry too.

"Sorry? It's not my fault!! I was hungry and you know that when I'm nervous I start to eat, unlike you. Skinny!!." Sadie yelled before pushing her friend away. But that infuriated Katie even more.

"Oh right, so you're nervous all the time. Because you always eat everything, even my lunch and the things I make for Cody!!." The brown-skinned girl yelled in anger but that irritated Sadie.

"Cody, Cody Cody. Everything is always Cody for you!? You never think of anyone but him and you never think of me, I'm supposed to be your friend but right now I don't even know you. What does he have that I don't have!?." Shouted the girl angrily looking at her friend.

"And why are you mad at Cody now!? And if I think about him, he's my life and you can't tell me who to love or choose who I should like!!." Katie yelled in anger but that both surprised and irritated Sadie even more.

"Now you're going out with that!? Ugh, I'm not surprised that's why I brought you here." Sadie covered her mouth and looked at Katie. Her friend was clearly stunned.

"What the fuck did you just say to me? Talk!!" The girl yelled furiously which made Sadie very tense.

"Okay. I know how you've seen Cody, all the time you think about him and do things for him, I couldn't help feeling jealous because you're like a sister to me, and I don't trust Cody very much. I heard rumors that he's a pervert and he spends all his time flirting with girls, I was afraid for your well-being so we signed up here to get you away from him, which. I thought it would work." Sadie said sheepishly looking at her friend.

"To think that it would work? Walking away from the person I like? Cody will be all that but he's actually a good person, if the things he does also make me angry is normal for boys. But walking away from him, when I want to meet him is okay for you? Making my decisions and choosing who I want to be with is something of a best friend?." Katie asked venomously before walking outside.

"Wait, Katie. Where are you going?" Sadie asked with concern looking at her best friend.

"I'll go look for the camp by myself. I'd rather be eaten by a bear than spend another second with the most selfish person in the world." Said the girl seriously before leaving which paralyzed Sadie.

"Wait, Katie please. Forgive me!!" the girl yelled before following her best friend.

Slowly the day began. When I felt the rays of the sun, I slowly opened my eyes and saw that it was already dawn.

"Guys, get up. It's day now." I said almost everyone woke up, but then Geoff noticed something that made him laugh.

"Oh guys, check this out." We all looked and couldn't help but laugh a little but I was smiling mischievously seeing Duncan and Courtney sleeping together with their arms around each other.

"Wow. This is unexpected." I said with a smirk as the two remaining teens were waking up with laughter.

"Oh hello princess. Sleeping in your man's arms?" Duncan asked with a smile but we all cringed as we saw Courtney kicking the Punk boy in the groin.

"Let's go back to camp now, and I don't want to hear any comment on this!!." Courtney yelled angrily before standing up as I returned to my normal form.

"She Loves Me." Duncan said with difficulty as Tyler and I helped the teen to his feet.

Courtney.:

"I want everyone to know that I was fast asleep and therefore unaware of my actions in the supposed snuggle with that unhappy pig, so essentially nothing happened." Said the girl with a smile looking at the camera.

Me.:

"Yes of course. And I'm a robot with a human appearance. She can lie all she wants, but my eyes never deceive me when I see certain things." I said holding a white flower. When I touched a petal I saw with a giggle the flower turn a pastel pink color.

The night was not pretty for Screaming Gophers, due to what happened with the magical attack and the bear, everyone had to sleep under a tree until some had slept in the branches. Slowly everyone began to wake up before beginning to stretch to ease their aching bones.

"Ugh, shit. How could a cat sleep up there?" Gwen asked painfully before she stretched her back as did Izzy.

"Very surely they must practice yoga, they are very flexible." The crazy girl said with a giggle but then everyone saw Heather walking over to her angrily.

"Do you two know something? I don't want to hear anything from you bear girl and dragon breath. If it hadn't been for your antics we would have slept in our tent and none of this would have happened!!" The girl yelled angrily but the three teenagers got irritated when they heard a bird sing very close to them.

"Shut up now!!." Izzy, Heather, and Gwen screamed in anger, but the goth girl had released a small burst of fire from her mouth that set the bird on fire.

Chris was busy setting up some wood on the disposal campfire for tonight. The host at that moment heard hurried footsteps and saw most of my entire team and me arriving at the place.

"Yes, we did it. We won!!" Courtney yelled with a smile as the other team was arriving.

"Shit not again. And it's all because of you!!" Heather yelled before pushing Izzy to the ground but then we all saw Chris approaching the opposing team.

"Not so fast Screaming Gophers, it seems Killer Bass is missing two players on his team." Chris said looking at us. I looked around and was horrified to see that Katie and Sadie were missing.

"Surely they were eaten by a bear." Said the girl without much interest. That only petrified me even more until we heard heavy footsteps before seeing Katie coming up with us. The girl had dark circles in her eyes and her clothes were almost torn.

"Katie, are you okay?" I asked worried but the girl ignored me before joining us. That worried us even more.

"Katie, Katie!? Katie!!." We all saw the bushes and suddenly Sadie came out. The girl had injuries and her clothes were just as torn, when the girl saw her best friend she quickly ran to where she is.

"Thank God, Katie please I'm so sorry." Sadie tried to hug Katie but then we were all shocked and even Chris when we saw Katie dodge her hug causing Sadie to fall to the ground.

"Do not talk to me." Was all Katie said before sitting down on a log while everyone was stunned by this.

"Very good, um. Screaming Gophers, you are the winner of the survival challenge and as a reward, you will have an all-expense-paid trip to the supply store!!." Chris yelled with a smile causing the opposing team to celebrate before quickly running off.

"Killer Bass, I'm waiting for you at the elimination ceremony tonight, choose which ass gets off the island. And don't worry, Cheff made something especially for you in the dining room." Chris said with a smile as we all watched the cook pour a bowl of soup, but many were disgusted to see hooves, flies and spider legs.

The moment arrive. We were all at the elimination campfire now but we couldn't help but feel that the atmosphere was a bit tense due to Katie and Sadie being so far apart. Sadie was trying to apologize to her friend, but the other girl refused to listen.

"Killer Bass. Welcome back, as you know. Tonight, one of your pitiful asses will get on the loser's boat and leave the island, the contestant who leaves tonight will not be able to return, ever." Chris said seriously. But unlike the other times, no one was scared or nervous, everyone was tired.

"Okay. Since I see most of you all are very tired, I'll throw your marshmallows. Courtney." The girl happily caught the marshmallow from her.

"Duncan." The Punk boy caught the marshmallow from him with a smile looking at Courtney. But the girl looked away in annoyance.

"DJ." The teen smiled happily before catching the marshmallow from him as he patted Bunny's head.

"Owen." The teen opened his mouth before catching the marshmallow to eat it happily.

"Geoff." The party boy removed his hat to catch the marshmallow from him with a smile.

"Tyler." The jock boy easily caught the marshmallow with a smile.

"Benja." I smiled a little before catching the marshmallow.

"Katie, Sadie. This is the last marshmallow for tonight. One of you two is going home tonight, and that person is it." Sadie was sweating profusely while Katie had a cold, almost blank stare.

"Sadie." We all saw Chris giving the last one to Katie. The girl just stood up before leaving, that shocked us all. What we would have expected would be a painful goodbye but what was more painful was seeing Sadie crying.

"Okay. It was nice meeting you all, um. Bye everyone." The girl said before leaving crying which worried us all.

"Alright campers. You're safe for the night, head back to your cabin." Chris said with a smile. We all stood up to leave but before I could leave the host stopped me.

"Benja. Do you have a minute, friend?" Chris asked curiously making me look at this confused.

"Umm yeah. See you guys later." I said before leaving with the host while everyone was looking at this curiously but also confused.

Chris took me to his trailer. I could see that the interior was very large and luxurious, with a personal jacuzzi, an HDTV, a high-quality sound system, and multiple snacks.

"Excuse me, um Chris. Why am I here?" I asked curiously but then I saw Cheff walk in before closing the door.

"Sit down, boy." Said the cook making me sit at a table with Chris while Cheff sat next to the host.

"Very good Benja. I'll be very honest with you. I've been looking at social networks and I think you'll like to see this, Cheff." The cook at that moment took out a piece of paper before reading it aloud.

"Benjamín Escudero. The Kitsune of the show, known for his great kindness and affection towards his teammates as well as an unmatched ferocity in challenges with his magical abilities make him a very tough contestant to beat on the show." That statement surprised me a lot while Cheff put the paper away.

"What Cheff just read to you is one of your many fan letters. How many letters did you get for Benja, mate?" asked the host with a smile causing the cook to lift a huge sack before dropping it causing me to see thousands and thousands of letters fall in front of me.

"As you can see you have a lot of fans. Monsters and humans, and we even heard that the show is an outstanding success in your city. But among all those letters, there is one that I must show you." Chris said before showing the letter from the producers.

"The producers spoke and say that even though it's amazing that you have magic and they want to see more of your abilities on TV, they've asked me to tone down the appearance of your abilities on TV a bit. Don't get me wrong, many people like your power and what you do, but we run the risk of making the show repetitive and predictable. You get it right?" Chris asked looking at me with a smile.

"Umm, yes sir." I said with difficulty due to a lump in my throat.

"Don't worry. You can still use your spells but keep it as small as you can. Tell me, do you have any questions for me?" The host asked with a smile causing me to shake my head.

"No, sir. Umm, can I go now?" I asked with concern making Chris laugh.

"Of course, and call me Chris, buddy. You don't have to be so polite." Said the host while I left the place before walking to the pier.

I sat on the pier looking at the sea with the moon illuminating the place. Everything was answered, I'm not in an ordinary camp, I'm in a show right now. New questions began to come to my mind, doubts and worries but also fears. I showed my magic every time on the show, thousands or possibly millions of people had seen everything.

"Guys. Why did you send me here?" I asked with confusion and concern looking at the sky. Internally right now I was thinking of letting myself eliminate to go and look for explanations, but I didn't want to leave my team alone, I already witnessed the challenges and realized that they are getting more and more difficult, and I didn't want anyone to get hurt.

Behind me, Gwen was a few steps closer to me. The girl had some sodas and some sweets, the goth girl looked at me with concern and remembered what happened before. Her book did not help to find out what happened and now the girl was worried that it would happen again. But Gwen sighed before walking over to where I am.

"Hey, Benja. How are you?" Asked the girl making me look at her. I instantly remembered what I did and it made me tense.

"Oh hi Gwen. I'm fine, just enjoying the view." I said looking at the sea but then I saw the girl giving me a bottle of soda.

"Umm, the supply store is opening again tomorrow, and. Well, I was passing by and I saw you alone, is everything alright?" Gwen asked curiously looking at me.

"If it's just that I'm, doubtful. Has anyone ever told you that they planned to do something with you but in reality, it ended up being something else?" I asked nervously making the girl look at me with confusion.

"I don't understand." I looked around to make sure there were no cameras before sighing.

"My friends, they had told me that we would go on a fishing trip as a boys day. But, they sent me here, and I don't understand. What did I do wrong? I, do everything for them. I take care of them, I protect them, I support them, perhaps. I didn't do enough for them?." I asked nervously but then I saw Gwen take my hands.

"I don't believe that. In all the time you've been here you helped us at every turn, Courtney's eye, Owen's tsunami, Izzy's explosion, you went to help us when we had that accident at the talent show, and you even gave me some of your magic to protect us from the bears. I don't think they did this because they think you're useless."

"You're a good Kitsune and a great friend. They must have had other reasons that they may not have told you. But listen, if things get worse and they don't value what you do, come find me and I'll help you. We'll be rivals in challenges, but we're friends." The girl said with a smile making me smile.

"Thank you Gwen. And, I'm sorry about what happened in the forest. It's just that, for a Kitsune, their tails are very important. Not only our magic is stored in our body, but also in our tails, but there is something much more important and that is our life energy. If I lose my tails, I can die." I said in pain. That horrified Gwen.

"Shit. I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have said that shit then." The goth girl said embarrassedly making me laugh a little.

"Don't worry, that's in the past. I forgive you." I said smiling making Gwen laugh before patting my head.

"You are a good friend, Benja. Thank you." the girl said with a smile before laughing seeing me purring and wagging my tails happily.

"Hey, do you want to eat with me? It's better than Cheff's disgusting food." Gwen said with a smile, although the girl had to turn around covertly to avoid any murderous glare from the cook.

"Thank you Gwen, and the food isn't gross. It's just like the food they serve us at my school." I said as we both grabbed a bag of candy.

"Speaking of which. Tell me about yourself please, if you don't mind." The girl said with a smile making me laugh.

"Sure, no problem." I said before we start talking in peace. But we never noticed that Trent had seen everything with surprise but also some concern before leaving the place.

So far today's chapter. I hope you liked it and I also hope you are enjoying the story so far.

I hope you have a good day, afternoon or night. We'll see you later, bye dattebayo.
