Volume I: The Kingpin
Note: This will be the twelfth chapter of Volume I, Wilson Fisk AKA the Kingpin will be the main villain of this chapter. This chapter will also feature a romance between Peter and Gwen as they kiss for the first time.
Its December 22, as Christmas is coming, all of New York is snowing as Spider-Man swings around through the city as a lot of people are Christmas shopping and singing Christmas songs.
He stopped by the Coffee Bean as a lot of people see him waiting in line like everyone else. The woman in front has already order her drink as Spider-Man is next in line. The barista then sees Spider-Man here in the flesh.
"Can I get you anything?"
"One hot chocolate please." Spider-Man says to the barista.
(Sometime Later)
Spider-Man is sitting on a rooftop with his mask halfway up as he drank his hot chocolate.
"Ahh! It is the winter season, everyone is shopping for a present. I wonder if St. Nick has me on the nice list, might get a present under the tree. But I wonder if I should be celebrating the holidays as this Kingpin is still out there, the only lead I got is from Kraven, one name... Fisk. But then again, that's not my only worry... I'm still dealing with how I feel about Gwen, lately I can't keep her out of my head. But since Christmas is coming, should I finally tell her how I feel for her?" Spider-Man says in his thoughts.
Spider-Man feels conflicted with everything going on with his life as both Peter Parker and as Spider-Man. He then got an alert on the phone as the police frequency app is on.
"All units, there is an armored car robbery happening downtown, send backup immediately!"
Spider-Man sighed. "Even heroes can't seemed to take breaks, time to go to work."
Spider-Man got up and jumps of the rooftop and swings away to the robbery.
Sometime later as a group of men came out of sedans, a total a eight men armed with assault rifles. One of them carrying a grenade launcher, fired off a tear gas through the window, causing the driver and passenger to tear up as they're forced to get out of the armored car.
"Stay right there!"
The men pointed their guns at the security guards, the others went to the back as one of them brought a thermal lance, he then light it up as it doing its work on the doors. Spider-Man arrived at the scene and see that the thugs got two hostages. He placed the camera pointing at the scene for some shots.
Some of the robbers managed to cut the steel door down as they went inside the back and started collecting the money. About four are outside watching the scene as well as the hostages. One looked up as something came in swinging in the air, Spider-Man came in and did the drop kick, one guy is knocked down. The three looked as Spider-Man is here at the scene, they pointed their guns at him but he webbed up the barrels, jamming the guns.
Spider-Man runs and jumps to do a hurricanrana on one of the thugs, he flips him down hard. There are two thugs across the sedan, he push kicked the front side of the car making it move, knocking the two back flying upon impact. The remaining four came out of the back with the money and see their buddies defeated and Spider-Man is standing.
"Stealing money, you guys are definitely on the naughty list." Spider-Man says a joke to them.
"Kill him!"
They fired off their guns but he jumped up and landed on top of one of them, he pushed him down as he jumped back up again, he webbed up the two thugs on either side. Only one remained standing as Spider-Man fired off a web line to pull him in as he executes a flying knee, knocking him out cold.
The guards came by and see that the thugs are defeated and the money is secured thanks to Spider-Man.
"Thanks a lot Spidey."
"Just happened to be in the neighborhood. I should get going, got work to do." Spider-Man says to the guards.
Spider-Man swings away as the two guards watched him.
Sometime later, Spider-Man had already collected the photos from the scene for the Bugle.
"I need to get going to the patrolmen's benefits gala or Jameson is gonna fire me, though technically I'm still freelance, maybe he'll just stop hiring me." Spider-Man says as he swings.
Meanwhile at the Fisk Estate, Wilson Fisk is getting dressed up in a black and white tuxedo.
"I still don't understand why you need to attend these matters." James Wesley says to Wilson Fisk.
"As the Kingpin I have an entire city and criminal empire to manage, but as Wilson Fisk image is everything, I must maintain my appearance as a legitimate businessman and philanthropist. No one can suspect my true occupation as the Kingpin of Crime." Wilson Fisk looks himself in the mirror.
"Of course, my apologies." James Wesley says to Wilson Fisk.
Someone enters the room, it's Vanessa Fisk, wife of Wilson Fisk who is unaware of her husband's double life as the Kingpin. Vanessa is a black hair female with white streaks along her hair.
"Am I interrupting?" Vanessa asking them.
"Not at all, my love." Wilson Fisk smiled at Vanessa.
"I'll leave you two alone, excuse me." James Wesley excused himself out of the room, leaving them alone.
"How do I look? Do I look that nervous?" Wilson Fisk asking his wife Vanessa.
"Yes, a little but it's charming." Vanessa smiled at her husband Wilson.
"Do you think that I'm ready for the next step?" Wilson Fisk asking Vanessa.
"Wilson, you've worked hard and had this planned for months, trust me, they're gonna love you once they get to know the real you." Vanessa says to Wilson.
"What makes you so sure?" Wilson asking his wife.
"Because I have." Vanessa leaned in and kisses her husband.
"Some days I wonder what I did to deserve a great woman like you." Wilson smiled at Vanessa.
James Wesley came back as he sees his boss and the wife in a moment.
"Sir, the car is ready." James Wesley reminded them.
"Thank you Wesley, shall we?" Wilson offer his arm to Vanessa.
"Of course, dear." Vanessa took it and locked her arm with Wilson's.
They both left their home and entered the limo to attend an event.
Sometime later at the patrolmen's benefits gala, Peter is wearing a tuxedo while holding a camera doing his job for Jameson who is also attending the gala. A lot of prominent New Yorkers attended the event, mostly rich folks wanting to make donations to the NYPD.
"Boy, one of the perks of being a photographer is getting into places and attending galas like this, though I prefer to be out there swinging around and taking down bad guys. But unfortunately thanks to the staff photographer having a cold, I'm all JJ has got, but at least it pays the bills." Peter says in his thoughts.
"Peter?" Gwen says behind him.
Peter turns around and sees Gwen Stacy here in a blue dress, she looked so lovely in it, making Peter's heart beat.
"Gwen, what are you doing here?" Peter asking Gwen.
"My dad is the police captain, so I'm here to show my support. What are you doing here?" Gwen asking Peter.
"Oh, I'm here on work for Jameson since his staff photographer is at home fighting a cold. By the way, you look... nice." Peter looking at a beautiful Gwen Stacy.
"Thanks, you're not so bad yourself." Gwen blushed a bit.
Peter and Gwen are then joined by Harry and Mary Jane both dressed for the gala.
"Wow, guess we're all here." Harry came with Mary Jane.
"So you two are dating or something?" Peter is wondering about their relationship.
"Kinda, Harry invited me and I said yes." Mary Jane smiled at them.
"So are we interrupting anything?" Harry asking Peter and Gwen.
"Oh no, we just ran into each other and we're just talking." Peter says to Harry.
"Yeah, just talking." Gwen says to Harry.
"Oh, I thought that you two came together dating." Harry assumed they're together.
"Oh no, we're not..." Gwen blushed nervously.
"Of course not, I'm only here on work for the Bugle." Peter told Harry why he's here.
George Stacy came by wearing his police captain's uniform.
"Peter, Harry, Mary Jane, it's good to see you here. The event is about to start so I should get going. Wish me luck Gwennie." George Stacy says to Gwen.
"Good luck." Gwen says to her dad.
George is joining up with the other police captains as the event is about to start.
"I should get going, work and stuff." Peter says to them.
"Okay, good luck Pete." Harry says to Peter.
Peter left them as he joined up with Jameson and some of the photographers. George Stacy is joined with the other captains as District Attorney Bill Hollister is taking the stage.
"Welcome to the patrolmen's benefits gala, we are all here to support our men and women in uniforms who risked their lives on a daily basis, they protect us and keep us safe, we are lucky to have them out there doing what's right, and so is the rest of New York City. I'm glad that many of you have come to donate for the NYPD's cause. Tonight we have a very special guest here, a man who donated a huge sum for the NYPD, a man who has given a lot to this city, and is a true friend to this city. Ladies and Gentlemen, it gives me a great honor to introduce this man, Mister Wilson Fisk." Bill Hollister says to the crowd.
Peter became shocked to hear the name Fisk here at the Gala. Everyone clapped their hand as Wilson Fisk is invited to walks up to the stage, Peter sees a very large man here named Fisk, he's starting to suspect that he could be the man he's looking for, the one who calls himself the Kingpin.
"Parker! Take the photo!" Jameson orders Peter.
Peter got a bit distracted by his thoughts as he took the photo of Wilson Fisk on the stage. Fisk's wife Vanessa smiled and waved to her husband, Wilson Fisk waved back to her.
"Thank you D.A. Hollister. As most of you know crime in this city has gone up steadily in the past few months alone. The attack on Midtown High was a wake up call that got everyone's attention, even though the criminal mastermind has already confessed to these crimes, but there are still other crime syndicates still out there harming the good people of New York and causing suffering. We are lucky to have an efficient police force looking out for us all, including that new hero Spider-Man. But it's still not enough, what I'm trying to say is that I aim to make some changes to this city I love so much. That is why as of this moment, I am announcing my candidacy for the office of mayor of New York City." Wilson Fisk gave his speech making everyone applauding.
Wilson Fisk has just announced his candidacy to run for mayor of New York City, everyone claps their hands to him, Peter on the other hand didn't seemed comfortable clapping as he suspects that Wilson Fisk is the Kingpin.
"Parker! What are you waiting for?! Take the photo!" Jameson orders Peter.
Peter took the photo along with the other photographers taking pictures of Wilson Fisk. He is being joined by his wife Vanessa as she's happy and supportive for her husband and his campaign for this city.
Sometime later after the gala, George Stacy is driving across the Queensboro bridge with Mary Jane in the front seat next to him. Peter and Gwen are both sitting in the back as Gwen noticed that Peter has been quiet since the gala.
"Peter?... Peter!" Gwen trying to get his attention.
Peter snapped back to reality. "Huh? I'm sorry, what?"
"Are you okay?" Gwen is curious for Peter.
"Yeah, just work stuff, that's all." Peter says to Gwen.
"That's been happening a lot with you, you hardly come to our house to see Gwen lately." George says as he is driving.
"Are you... avoiding me?" Gwen is curious.
"What? No, of course not, I would never avoid a beautiful girl like you." Peter let slip his words to Gwen.
Gwen blush as Peter said those words to her. George and Mary Jane smiled as they heard those words too.
"You think that... I'm beautiful?" Gwen is blushing when she looked at Peter.
"Well... I think that you're... so attractive... like an angel." Peter says nervously while blushing to Gwen.
"Thank you... for those kind words." Gwen is still blushing.
"Yeah... anytime." Peter is still blushing.
George and Mary Jane could see that both Gwen and Peter are still having trouble confessing their feelings for one another.
Later as the car pulled up in front of the Parker Residence, Peter and Mary Jane both got out of the car.
"Thanks for the ride, Mister Stacy." Peter thanked George.
"Of course, by the way, do you and your aunt plan to spend Christmas Eve alone in your home?" George is curious.
"Unfortunately, it seems that way. Why?" Peter is curious too.
"Well... if you two want, me and Gwen will have a Christmas dinner at our home, we would like to invite you both as our guests." George Stacy says to Peter.
"That be nice, I'll ask Aunt May and see if she's interested." Peter says to George Stacy.
"Great, we'll wait for your answer. Have a good night." George Stacy waved them both good night.
"Goodnight George, good night Gwen." Peter waved to them.
"Goodnight Peter." Gwen waved them both good night.
Peter and Mary Jane watched as the car drives away, Mary Jane could tell that there's something else on Peter's mind besides his feelings for Gwen.
"Now that we're alone, you want to tell me what's going on in your mind." Mary Jane is getting curious.
"What do you mean?" Peter says to Mary Jane.
"You've been quiet since the gala." Mary Jane is getting worried.
"Tomorrow, I'll tell you everything tomorrow." Peter tells Mary Jane.
"Okay, I should get home, good night Tiger." Mary Jane walks to her home.
"Night MJ." Peter says to Mary Jane.
Mary Jane already went to her house as Peter is entering his, the house is quiet as Aunt May is already asleep. He still got a lot on his mind right now, the clue that Kraven told him about the Kingpin, a man named Fisk is the Kingpin of Crime, he thinks that it's Wilson Fisk. He looked through the camera and saw the picture of Wilson Fisk running for Mayor.
He sat down and powers up his computer, he searches the internet on Wilson Fisk and got some results. He decided to do some research on the man Peter suspects to be a crime lord.
The next morning as it's December 23, Peter and May are in the kitchen having breakfast. May could tell that Peter hasn't been doing much sleeping lately as he drinks his coffee and eats his wheatcakes.
"Have you been up all night?" May is getting worried.
"Sort of, I've been working on printing the new photos for the Bugle." Peter gave an excuse.
"Peter, I'm glad that you have a job and I'm proud of you. But you're still a teenager that is entitled to have a life beyond work." May tells Peter.
"I know, I just want to help you out. Oh, by the way George Stacy is wondering if we wanted to come to their house for dinner on Christmas Eve." Peter gave the message to May.
"Well that be nice, I'm guessing that you're going too." May smiled at Peter.
"Yeah, I mean, we shouldn't celebrate the holidays in our home alone." Peter says to May.
"That's not the only reason you want to go. This is about Gwen, isn't it?" May smiled at Peter.
"Is it that obvious?" Peter says to May.
"Peter, I've known you for a long time and this the first time I've seen you in love." May says to Peter.
"Well I can't deny it, but yes. I'm in love with Gwen Stacy." Peter admits his feelings for Gwen.
"I'm glad that you finally feel something for Gwen. Before Gwen and you became friends, me and Anna Watson always hoped that you and Mary Jane would get together." May says to Peter.
"Mary Jane is wonderful, but she and I only became friends. I know that you hoped that we be a couple, but the only thing between MJ and me is friendship, nothing more." Peter says to May.
"Well, I'm glad that you found someone you love. How does Gwen make you feel?" May asking Peter.
"When I'm with her, my heart beats. When I look at her, she looked so beautiful that I feel like my skin is getting warm. For years I've always thought of her as my friend but lately that's not the case anymore. For the first time in my life, I love her." Peter says to May.
"If she makes you feel happy, then I support your decision." May smiled at Peter.
"Really?" Peter says to May.
"Peter, you must seek out your happiness. I could see that Gwen is your happiness, you deserve that. Tell her what you feel for her, be happy by her side." May smiled at Peter.
"Thank you Aunt May." Peter smiled back at May.
The doorbell rang as someone is at the door.
"I'll get it." Peter stands up from the chair.
Peter walked over to the door and opened it. It's Mary Jane Watson coming by the house.
"MJ, glad that your here. Come in." Peter invites Mary Jane inside.
Peter and Mary Jane went upstairs to Peter's bedroom as the two needed the privacy without May listening.
"Thank you for coming, MJ." Peter says to Mary Jane.
"Of course, what's going on with you? Last night you were all quiet than you usually were, please tell me what is it." Mary Jane is getting worried.
Peter sighed. "Okay... do you remember me defeating Kraven couple weeks ago?"
"Yeah, I could I forget." Mary Jane says to Peter.
"After he was defeated and left, he told me a clue about the identity of the Kingpin. He only gave me a name... Fisk." Peter says to Mary Jane.
"Fisk? As in Wilson Fisk, the man from last night running for mayor?" Mary Jane is surprised to hear the news.
"Correct." Peter says to Mary Jane.
"Do you think that it's a coincidence?" Mary Jane says to Peter.
"I don't know, but last night I've been up doing research and looking up on the internet on Wilson Fisk." Peter says to Mary Jane.
"And what have you found out?" Mary Jane is getting curious.
"Not much, he's a businessmen and a philanthropist, CEO of Fisk Industries, born and raised in Hell's Kitchen, parents died when he was twelve, married with one son." Peter says to Mary Jane.
"Anything connecting him to any criminal elements? Mary Jane says to Peter.
"No, none at all, the guy is Mr. Clean." Peter says to Mary Jane.
"Are you sure this is the guy you're looking for? Any chance that Kraven could've been lying? This man dedicated himself to this city, helping it, and in his spare time he's a criminal mastermind?" Mary Jane is confused.
"Is it really that hard to believe? I'm a kid from Queens secretly saving lives and taking down bad guys, not a lot of people show their real faces in public." Peter says to Mary Jane.
"You got a point there, though we don't have much on the Kingpin. We need more information, something we can't find on the internet. Any ideas where to look?" Mary Jane asking Peter.
"Maybe, I might know someone who might some answers." Peter knows someone who might provide more information.
At Fisk Tower, Wilson Fisk is looking down on the city that he secretly controls through intimidation and fear, now he's working on a campaign to become mayor, getting into politics.
"Looks like the campaign is on schedule, you got everyone eating out of your hands, sir." James Wesley says to Wilson Fisk.
"Wasn't that hard, I still own this city whether they know it or not. But unfortunately there's still an obstacle out there that can prove to be most troublesome to my campaign and my life." Wilson Fisk is referring to Spider-Man.
"You mean Spider-Man?" James Wesley figured out.
"Last night he stopped my men from stealing money from an armored car. Our income is getting depleted so low that maintaining my criminal empire is becoming more difficult. We need to make up the income to keep things interesting. Make the call and shake down some protection." Wilson Fisk orders James Wesley.
"Yes sir." James Wesley pulled out the phone and calls some associates.
In Chinatown at a restaurant, a group of thugs burst inside to find the owners who owes protection money for the Kingpin. The thugs are wrecking the place.
"Hey, what are you doing?!"
The thug swing a bat at the owner, seriously hurting him.
"Kingpin wants his money now!"
The thugs started to collect some money from the register and the safe.
(Little Italy)
A laundromat got raided by thugs as they scared off some people and injured some. They went to the owners officer and threatened him to give up some money.
"It's payday now! So pay up!"
(Harlem)
An auto shop in Harlem got raided too as Kingpin's men are attacking everyone around the shop with crowbars and baseball bats.
"What the hell?! This is my shop!!"
One of the thugs punched him in the face, injuring his jaw.
"Shut up! If you still want to keep that jaw, time to pay up protection. You know the rules, if you don't pay..."
The thugs swings the crowbar at the windshield, breaking it, making the man scared for his life.
"... you pay! Choose!"
The man is scared as the Kingpin's men aren't playing around, the owner needs to pay up protection money or else.
At the 13th precinct, George Stacy is in his office working and drinking coffee until he got a call on his phone, he checks the caller ID but it's a blocked number. He's wondering who could be calling him.
"George Stacy, who is this?" George answered the call.
"I'll give you a hint, I'm wearing a red suit and is currently on the snowy rooftop." Spider-Man says with humor.
"Spider-Man?" George guessed who it is.
"No, Santa Claus. Yes, it's Spider-Man, good guess Captain." Spider-Man jokes around.
"Hilarious, you came to play games with me?" George Stacy says to Spider-Man.
"No, I'm here because I need to talk to you, in private. Look out the window?" Spider-Man says to George Stacy.
George turns around and looks at the window to see Spider-Man hanging upside down and waving at George Stacy. George opened the window and allowed Spider-Man inside his office. George had the door closed as to not be interrupted.
"Okay, we're alone. So what do you need from me?" George is getting curious about what Spider-Man wants.
"Information, about the Kingpin." Spider-Man revealed his reason to be here.
"How do you know about the Kingpin?" George Stacy asking Spider-Man.
"Lonnie Lincoln, he told me months ago that Kingpin is the one who has been sending people to kill me. What do you know about him?" Spider-Man asking George for information.
"I don't know much, but I can tell you what I suspect." George Stacy is willing to tell Spider-Man.
"Okay, I'm all ears." Spider-Man sits down to listen.
"The Kingpin is the most powerful crime boss that New York has ever had, he controls most of New York's criminal underworld. From what we gathered from old reports, he used to be the personal enforcer for Don Rigoletto. He was Rigoletto's second in command and very loyal until day he decided to kill Rigoletto and his entire family, he took control of New York's underworld in a single stroke." George explained the old tales of Kingpin.
"Any idea who it could be? Any suspects?" Spider-Man needs more information.
"No, no one knew who about his true identity, Kingpin made sure of it, he doesn't leave loose ends. Everyone who knows about the Kingpin is too scared for their life, those who dared speak his name ends up dead. He controls this city through intimidation and fear, his connections throughout New York are very deep." George tells more about the Kingpin.
"Anymore info that could help find him, please continue." Spider-Man says to George Stacy.
"Okay, remember the attack on Midtown High? That was him, it was always him." George revealed the truth.
"I know that he's behind that incident, I've always suspected it." Spider-Man already knew about that incident.
"It was because of me, I lead a raid against his operations months ago and seized the weapons he stolen and tried to sell illegally. He attacked the school to get to my daughter Gwen." George explained the reason for the school attack.
"He almost killed her, she almost died that day." Spider-Man is shocked to hear that news.
"If you ever cross him, he doesn't just go after you, he goes after your entire family to prove a point. That's what makes him so dangerous, he has no morals when it comes to threatening the loved ones of his enemies. He's capable of doing that and more." George explained how dangerous Kingpin is.
"That man is a monster, he didn't care that innocent lives were threatened by his actions. Keep going, Captain." Spider-Man wants to hear more.
"We know that he's closely associated with Lonnie Lincoln who was in charge of the drug operation that you helped take down. He's also connected to another mob boss that I'm sure that you're familiar with, Silvio Manfredi." George Stacy tells about Lonnie Lincoln and Silvio Manfredi.
"The guy who was involved in smuggling conflict diamonds, who got blown up in his restaurant months ago." Spider-Man remembers Silvermane.
"The same, we were so close to getting Silvermane, we had hoped that he would flip on Kingpin, but unfortunately Kingpin severed that connection permanently in that bombing." George Stacy explains the reason that Silvermane is dead.
"So no other connections?" Spider-Man says to George Stacy.
"There is still one associate left alive and free, he handles the investments on all of the criminals, he calls himself The Owl." George Stacy says to Spider-Man.
"Wow, so even crime lords get nicknames too." Spider-Man says to George Stacy.
"His real name is Leland Owlsley, he runs a financial firm on Wall Street that is suspected to be a front for his money laundering operations, moving money around for various criminal organizations, terrorists, and cartels. Everyone tried to investigate him but so far no proof." George tells about the Owl.
"But it's the only lead so far, let's see what Mr. Owlsley has to say about Kingpin." Spider-Man got a lead to follow on.
George's phone rang as he answered it.
"Stacy here." George is listening until he got the news. "What?"
Spider-Man is surprised to hear that tone from Captain Stacy, he wonders what it's about.
"Okay, thanks for the heads up." George Stacy hanged up.
"What happened? Is it bad?" Spider-Man is getting worried.
"I think that you better see for yourself." George Stacy says to Spider-Man.
Sometime later after they left the precinct, Spider-Man and George Stacy are at the hospital to see a lot of injured citizens badly hurt, or worse. They see a man with a broken jaw, another with his leg broken, and the list goes on as the doctors and nurses are helping the injured.
"My god... what happened?" Spider-Man is shocked to see a lot of people hurt.
"Kingpin happened, he sent his thugs to collect on his protection money, apparently he's trying to make up the income from losing money thanks to your ventures." George Stacy explained the situation to Spider-Man.
"So he took it out on these good people, this guy doesn't have any limits to the things he does." Spider-Man is still processing this.
"Look, I know that you mean well and want to help take down crime, I respect that, I really do. But I'm afraid that you might have made matters worse." George Stacy says to Spider-Man.
"Maybe... but would that have made any difference? Whether we do nothing or not, he's still hurting and destroying a lot of lives. He needs to be stopped otherwise this wave of cruelty will never end." Spider-Man says to George Stacy.
George Stacy sighed. "You're right, he came after my daughter and almost killed her. He sent thugs after you and nearly killed Liz Allan in the process. He needs to be stopped, but the right way."
"I respect that you follow the rules and obey the law, but that hasn't stopped him from hurting people. I'm going to find him and stop him from hurting anyone else ever again." Spider-Man walks away.
George Stacy is always by the books and doing things through the legal system, but he knows that Spider-Man is right. The laws doesn't always protect the innocents from harm or even apply to the criminals who continue to violate it and getting their way with hurting people. He hopes that Spider-Man will try to do things the right way when he finds the Kingpin and see that justice is served correctly.
At Fisk Tower, the group of thugs came back to see their boss, they brought duffle bags full of money.
"Did you bring what I ask for?" Wilson Fisk is curious.
The thugs put the duffle bags down and opened them to show the money they've collected from various people that owed Kingpin protection.
"Excellent, though I've noticed that you two have come up short." Kingpin noticed that these two are light on the money.
"Yeah boss, about that... we're not that cruel when it comes to hurting people, so they only gave very little they have."
"I see... You know that back in ancient times, they would cut off their tongues out of their bodyguards on their first day on the job. You think that horrible, don't you? Because you don't like the 'feeling good' stuff?" Wilson Fisk smiled in amazement. "I do"
Fisk swings his cane hard on one of the thugs head, instantly killing him. He grabbed the neck of the other with one hand, choking him while Fisk roared, he then finished the guy off by breaking his neck with his grip. Fisk dropped the dead thug down as he breathed heavily, he smiled and chuckled as he felt amused by killing two thugs as the others watched.
"Wesley, handkerchief." Wilson Fisk asking his assistant.
Wesley pulled out his handkerchief and hands it to Fisk, who cleans the blood off his cane. Fisk turned his attention the remaining thugs.
"As for the rest of you, I don't tolerate such weakness in my organization, so consider yourselves lucky since you've done your jobs without difficulty. Let these two be a reminder so that you never forget, understood?" Wilson Fisk says to his thugs.
"Yes sir."
"Good, dismissed. Oh, and clean up this mess, make sure to dispose of them throughly and discreetly." Kingpin looking down on the two corpses.
Fisk walked over to the desk where all the money has been collected. The thugs collected the dead bodies to be removed.
"Wesley, be sure to put all this away." Wilson Fisk tells his assistant.
"Yes sir." James Wesley walked to take the duffle bags for safekeeping.
Wilson Fisk smiled in relief as he managed to regain his money, even though there were some costs to getting it, though he didn't care who got hurt in the process as long as he maintains his wealth and power.
At the investment firm run by Leland Owlsley, he heard the news about the recent attacks on the innocents, their money being stolen. Owlsley is packing up his stuff as trouble is coming after this.
"Damn it, Kingpin is one impatient bastard. This kind of trouble will attract unwanted attention. Get the chopper ready, we're leaving." Owlsley says to his men.
The window came bursting down as Spider-Man came crashing in. The Owls' men started to shoot as Spider-Man fired off some webbing at the thugs eyes, blinding them. The Owl attempted to make a run for it while his men keeps Spider-Man busy.
Only three thugs remained as Spider-Man runs and does the hurricanrana on one thug, he took him down. The two thugs came in charging as Spider-Man runs and jumps to do the split kick. He took out the thugs as he sees that the Owl is making his escape.
The Owl made it to the rooftop onto the helipad, he got inside the helicopter. He see Spider-Man coming in running.
"Take off now!!!" Owlsley orders the pilot.
The helicopter lifts off the helipad but Spider-Man webbed onto the helicopter as he held onto the web line.
The helicopter is flying out of the city and over the water, Spider-Man climbs up as he punched through the windshield, he webbed up the pilot's face, blinding him. Owlsley pulled out his gun and started shooting at Spider-Man, but Spidey jumped out of the way. The helicopter continues to spin out of control as the pilot is still blind. Unknown to them, Spider-Man is under the helicopter's hull as he climbs up to open the door.
The Owl is surprised to see Spider-Man again as he tries to shoot but Spider-Man caught the wrist and aimed the gun the other way. The Owl pulls the trigger and ends up shooting the cockpit controls. Everyone sees that the helicopter is now out of control and will soon crash. Spider-Man finally has Owlsley in his sights.
"The chopper is going down fast, is Wilson Fisk the Kingpin?!" Spider-Man interrogates Owlsley.
"What the hell?! This whole chopper is going down! We'll all die!!" Owlsley yelled out.
"Last chance, is Wilson Fisk the Kingpin?! Tell me now!!!" Spider-Man says to Owlsley loudly.
"Yes! He is the Kingpin!!" Owlsley confessed the truth to Spider-Man.
"I need you to testify to the police about everything you know!!!" Spider-Man says to Owlsley.
"You've crazy! I'll be dead once I set foot in a police station, he owns the cops!" Owlsley tells Spider-Man.
Spider-Man then sees the Statue of Liberty coming up as he might have a way to get off the chopper, but unknown to him, Owlsley has another gun in his ankle holster. He quickly pulls it out but Spider-Man's spider sense reacted quickly for him to jump out of the helicopter and webs up to the statue.
He escaped safely but unfortunately Owlsley is still inside the helicopter as Spider-Man can't do anything as it's too far away from him. He watched as the helicopter crashed down into the water hard. Spider-Man became disappointed that the only evidence he needed to take down the Kingpin is now gone. He lost his chance to take Kingpin down the right way.
It's December 24 as it's Christmas Eve, back home in Queens. Peter and Mary Jane watched on the laptop about the recent news about the disappearance of Leland Owlsley.
"Leland Owlsley, the financial advisor who is suspected in money laundering has been missing since last night after he made an escape attempt. His helicopter was last seen crashing down into the bay. The police are still searching the bay but so far no luck. We'll continue to bring in more news as the investigation continues."
"Damn it, it was my last chance, my only chance to stop Fisk the right way. I screwed up big time." Peter is disappointed in himself.
"Peter, you'll get your chance next time. Don't be so down on yourself." Mary Jane tries to comfort him.
"Well, at least I was able to get Owlsley to confirm that Wilson Fisk is the Kingpin." Peter says to Mary Jane.
"Yeah, but that's not enough. You still don't have evidence against him." Mary Jane tells Peter.
"Yeah, in the meantime he's still out there destroying lives and I can't do anything about it." Peter is feeling like he's letting everyone down.
"Hey, listen to me, he'll go down one day, the right way. He's not all powerful, he's just a man. You're a good person Peter, who always makes the right decisions in life. Don't stoop to his level, stay true to yourself." Mary Jane gives him some encouragement.
"Thanks MJ." Peter felt better.
"Of course, now let's go see Gwen, I hear that she needs help decorating her house. Shall we?" Mary Jane suggested to Peter.
"Why not? Let's go." Peter smiled as he got up.
He and Mary Jane left to go see Gwen Stacy at her home.
At Fisk Tower, Wilson Fisk and James Wesley watched the news report about the disappearance of Leland Owlsley and that Spider-Man was involved.
"Still no news on Leland Owlsley as the police continues their search in the bay but so far no luck. Eyewitnesses says that Spider-Man was chasing after Mr. Owlsley as he was making his escape from the authorities."
"Anything from our end?" Wilson Fisk asking his assistant.
"Apparently his men has no idea where Owlsley is, maybe he's finally dead." James Wesley says to Wilson Fisk.
"Make sure that it stays that way. There's no telling what he told to Spider-Man concerning me." Wilson Fisk is getting concerned for his secret.
"You think that Owlsley told him anything about your true identity?" James Wesley is wondering the same thing.
"I hope not, but in any event, examples must be made. You know what to do, no loose ends." Wilson Fisk orders his assistant.
"Understood." James Wesley understands what Wilson Fisk has planned.
James Wesley calls some people to see an example on Kingpin's orders.
Back in Forest Hills at the Stacy Residence, Peter and Mary Jane are helping their friend Gwen decorate her house with Christmas lights. Its all snow outside around the neighborhood as everyone is dressed warmly.
"Thanks for helping out." Gwen says to Peter and Mary Jane.
"Of course, what are friends for." Mary Jane says to Gwen.
"By the way, are you and Harry planning anything for Christmas Eve?" Gwen is curious about Mary Jane and Harry.
"No, I'm gonna celebrate with Aunt Anna at home." Mary Jane says to Gwen.
"Why don't you invite you Aunt to come celebrate with us? Peter's Aunt is coming over." Gwen suggested to Mary Jane.
"Sure, I'll let Aunt Anna know, thanks." Mary Jane says to Gwen.
"Are you two gonna talk or you gonna help?" Peter is busy with the decorations.
"We're just talking, don't need to be uptight." Mary Jane says to Peter.
"Hey, I'm not uptight, just busy." Peter replied to Mary Jane.
Peter got back to working as Mary Jane whispered to Gwen saying something, Gwen smiled as she likes the idea Mary Jane suggested.
Peter continues to work on the decorations until his spider sense tingle as he sensed that danger is nearby but he was mistaken as he got hit by a couple of snowballs.
"Hey! What the...?" Peter turns around to Gwen and Mary Jane.
Peter sees Gwen and Mary Jane smiling in joy as Peter was hit by snowballs.
"That was mean." Peter smiled at them.
"What are you gonna do?" Mary Jane smiled at Peter.
Peter picked up some snow and then smiled back at them, he tossed some snowballs at Gwen and Mary Jane. The girl then decided to have some fun as they picked up more snow and throws some more snowballs at Peter. Peter smiled as he's having fun after the night he had. Gwen picked up a big amount of snow and tossed it at Peter.
"Oh! You're gonna pay for that!" Peter smiled in joy at Gwen.
Peter then chased after Gwen while tossing some snowballs at her. Peter managed to catch up with Gwen as they both fell down into the snow, giggling and laughing. They both rolled over in the snow until they stopped, Peter is laying on the snow with Gwen on top of him. Peter and Gwen smiled until they looked at one another and are having a moment with their faces so close.
"Ahem... I'm I interrupting?" George Stacy surprised them as they lay in the snow in a moment.
Peter and Gwen quickly got themselves up and are blushing as the moment became awkward.
"Ah, no... we were just... having fun." Peter says nervously while blushing.
"Yeah... having fun, Dad." Gwen is blushing too like Peter.
"Don't feel embarrassed you two." George Stacy smiled at them both.
Peter and Gwen remained quiet as they still blush in each other's presence. George's phone rang as he answered it.
"Captain Stacy?" George listens to the call as he didn't like the news. "What?! My god."
Peter and Mary Jane could see his expression on his face has changed for the worst as he heard the bad news.
"Thank you for the heads up." George Stacy hangs up.
"Everything okay Dad?" Gwen is concerned for her dad.
"Unfortunately no. Something terrible has happened. I should get going. I'm sorry to bail on you on a day like this." George apologies to Gwen.
"It's okay, I know that you still have a job to do. Go." Gwen approved of his actions as a cop.
George Stacy is leaving as he hopped into his car and drive away, Peter is getting worried too as whatever the call was about was enough to make George unhappy. He decided to go after George to investigate this matter as Spider-Man.
Sometime later in the city as George Stacy stopped and got out of his car, he sees fire trucks around the area as a residence is on fire, a lot of firemen are working to put out the fire. Spider-Man arrived on a rooftop overlooking the scene, so much fire happening in someone's home.
George Stacy spotted Lieutenant Watanabe talking with the fire investigator and the detectives working on the case.
"Lieutenant, how'd this happened?" George wants the report on the scene.
"The neighbors called 911 as soon as they saw the fire happening next door, the fire crew came to the scene but they were too late, there were no survivors." Yuri explained the situation to George.
"This was Leland Owlsley's home, he goes missing and now his family gets burned inside, this can't be a coincidence." George Stacy says to Yuri Watanabe.
"Afraid not, the investigators says that it was arson, but the family of Leland Owlsley was already dead when the firemen found them, no life signs." Yuri Watanabe says to George Stacy.
Unknown to them, Spider-Man was listening nearby as he too has his doubts that this was an accident, he suspects that Kingpin is behind the deaths of the Owls Family. Spider-Man watched as bodies are being dragged out of the burned house, looked like a woman and a teenager were killed.
"Damn it, I should've known that Kingpin would keep his word and kill off his entire family after I've interrogated Owlsley. This man has gone too far this time, I have to stop him once and for all." Spider-Man says in his thoughts.
Spider-Man jumped off the rooftop as he swings through the city. The police sees him swinging away as did everyone else. Unknown to everyone, one of the Kingpin's spies is among the civilians watching the scene. He could see that Spider-Man is heading in the direction of Fisk Tower. He pulled out his phone and called his employers to warn them of Spider-Man.
At the same time at Fisk Tower, James Wesley is on the phone talking to the spy. Fisk is watching the news about the death of Owlsley's family, he felt no remorse for killing off the entire family.
"Thank you for informing us." James Wesley hangs up.
"I assume that it's done." Wilson Fisk says to his assistant.
"It is, our associates have managed to seize some of Owls files and assets, as of right now, we have control over the secret accounts. However, several of our spies have reported that Spider-Man is heading this way, to here." James Wesley tells his employer.
"So he knows who I am now, looks like Owlsley did say something after all... Send the guards home immediately." Wilson Fisk orders his assistant.
"Sir?" James Wesley is confused by that order.
"If Spider-Man want to meet with me, then it's finally time that we meet each other face to face." Wilson Fisk is anxious to meet Spider-Man.
"Are you sure that you can defeat him? He's not exactly known for going down so easily." James Wesley is worried for his boss.
"Neither am I, once he gets here, call the police... One more thing, take out the cameras in this room." Wilson Fisk gave an order.
"At once sir." James Wesley obeys the order.
Fisk has something sinister plan for the hero, he wants Spider-Man to fall into the trap.
Sometime later as Spider-Man is outside looking at Fisk Tower that the Kingpin owns for his legitimate business as well as his illegitimate one.
"This guy must've have a god complex or something, looking down on the little guys he steps over too often. Well, that ends here." Spider-Man says in his thoughts.
(Fisk Office)
Wilson Fisk is still waiting in his office for the young hero to come. The door opened as Spider-Man enters the office to see the Kingpin here, he turns around and sees Spider-Man in the flesh at long last.
"Spider-Man." Kingpin says to Spider-Man.
"Kingpin." Spider-Man says not too happy.
Spider-Man fired a web line at Kingpin but he blocked with his cane and pulled the line along with Spider-Man, he tries to punch him but missed as Spider-Man dodged the attack. Kingpin swing his cane down at Spider-Man with much force but he dodged it again but left a dent on the ground.
Spider-Man got up and uses his fists to punch Kingpin in the face, causing pain. Kingpin tries to counter by swinging his cane but Spider-Man ducked down, Spidey counters with a spinning back fist on Kingpin's face. Kingpin felt the pain from that fist but he managed to hit Spider-Man in the gut with his cane.
Spider-Man kicked the cane off Kingpin's hand, but Kingpin managed to grab Spider-Man's wrist with one hand and his throat with another. Kingpin tossed Spider-Man hard against the wall with so much force. Spider-Man is surprised that a man like Fisk is getting the best of him, because Fisk is a normal man Spider-Man tries to hold back against using full force of his power as to not kill him.
Spider-Man is still shaking off the pain but Kingpin managed to grab him and uses a head butt on Spider-Man's head. Kingpin lifts Spider-Man up and then slammed him down hard on the ground. Spider-Man is in pain as Kingpin had the advantage over him now. Kingpin kicked him hard with so much force that Spider-Man crashed against the wall again.
"How disappointing... I expected more from you. You could've made this a real challenge." Kingpin says to Spider-Man.
"You did this, you killed that family in the fire, you attacked the school, almost killed a teenage girl, why?!" Spider-Man isn't too happy.
"Business... that's all it ever is, business. You see Spider-Man, I own this city and everyone in it works for me, whether they know it or not. People like you and Captain Stacy got in my way, he made the mistake of meddling in my business, examples had to made." Kingpin says to Spider-Man.
(Downstairs of Fisk Tower)
At the same time in the lobby, the police came by as James Wesley is waiting for them.
"What happened? Where's Fisk?"
"My employer is in his office, Spider-Man is assaulting him as we speak. His life is in danger, we have to hurry!" James Wesley pretends to be worried.
The cops followed Wesley to the elevator to get up to the office to stop Spider-Man and save Wilson Fisk.
(Fisk Office)
Spider-Man is still fighting the Kingpin but even for a normal human being, Fisk's strength level is exceptionally strong with his large size.
Spider-Man strikes back at punching the gut but Kingpin felt nothing as his muscle and body fat is very durable to withstand normal hits.
"Is that all you got?" Kingpin is smiling as he's gaining the upper hand.
Spider-Man then strikes with a roundhouse kick but Kingpin caught it and tossed Spider-Man around the room hard. Kingpin then walked over to his desk and picked it up as he's ready to crush Spider-Man with it.
"It's no wonder you haven't stopped me so far. Unlike me, you're not willingly to do what needs to be done. It makes you weak and useless. This is the end for you, but I promise you this, after I killed you and find out who you are, I'll go and personally kill everyone you ever loved, nice and slow." Kingpin smiled for what he has planned.
Spider-Man is getting mad as Kingpin threatened his loved ones. Kingpin is about to slam the desk down until Spider-Man fired off a webbing at Kingpin's face. Kingpin can't see as he's blind, Spider-Man gets up and runs to do a flying knee strike on the Kingpin's gut, the strike worked and pushed Kingpin back falling.
Kingpin quickly got back on his feet and is angry. Spider-Man jumps up as he does the jump spin hook kick but he missed as Kingpin pulled back, but got surprised by another kick from the other leg while Spider-Man is still in the air, it was the guyver kick.
Kingpin is getting the injuries on his head from the strikes that Spider-Man inflicted, he's getting the best of him in combat. Spider-Man fires off two web lines passed his sides, he came in for a slingshot kick and hits the Kingpin hard that he crashed him against the wall.
Spider-Man is emerging victorious as the Kingpin is being defeated by him. Spider-Man walked closer to the Kingpin all defeated but still moving.
"Not bad... what are you waiting for? Finish it." Kingpin still on the ground injured.
Spider-Man was debating whether to do what's necessary to stop Kingpin for good, but he remembers that he's no killer, he couldn't bring himself to stoop to Kingpin's level.
"You can't, can you? How disappointing, all that power and you can't even do the one thing that can end all of this." Kingpin is disappointed that Spider-Man won't do what needs to be done.
"I'm not like you, I don't solve problems by taking lives. You will face justice for everything you've done, that's a promise." Spider-Man says to the Kingpin.
The door burst open as the police arrived at the scene to see Spider-Man and an injured Wilson Fisk on the ground.
"Thank god that you're here! He's trying to kill me!" Wilson Fisk pretends to be panicking in fear.
The police pointed their guns at Spider-Man.
"Put your hands up in the air!!"
"No, wait! You got the wrong guy, I'm not trying to kill him! I'm not the enemy here!" Spider-Man tries to explain himself to the police.
"Last chance Spider-Man! Put your hands in the air or we will open fire! Do it now!!!"
Spider-Man's hands are still pointed down as he slowly raised his hands up. He raised them to the right positions as he quickly fired off some webbing and jammed the barrels of the police guns. He then quickly runs out the window as some cops started shooting at Spider-Man but he was too quick as he jumped out of the window. The police approached the window and watched as Spider-Man is escaping the scene.
Some of the officers came to help Wilson Fisk who looked like hell from the fight he got from Spider-Man.
"Are you alright, Mr. Fisk?"
"Yes, I'm just fine." Wilson Fisk says to the cops.
Wilson Fisk smirked mischievously as his plan to paint Spider-Man as a criminal worked, now the NYPD has considered him dangerous to the public after his assault on Wilson Fisk, no one suspects who he really is. The Kingpin won this time, but the war is far from over.
Sometime later, Peter managed to return home and avoided the cops along the way. He made his way to his bedroom, he tossed his backpack on the wall as Kingpin got the drop on Spider-Man, Peter isn't too happy with how the day has gone.
"Damn it! He played me, he wanted me to go to him so that the police could catch me in the act assaulting him. Not only did I fail to stop him, now he ended making me a criminal in the eyes of the law." Peter says in his thoughts not too happy.
Mary Jane came by the room and see that Peter isn't too happy after what happened.
"Tiger, it's all over the news, they say that you tried to kill Wilson Fisk." Mary Jane informs Peter.
"He played me, it was all a trap to set me up. Now with the entire police force on my tail, there's no left to stop the Kingpin. I screwed up big time!" Peter is still disappointed in himself.
"Peter, you can't blame yourself!" Mary Jane tries to comfort him.
"Damn it MJ! With me out of the way, Kingpin is untouchable now! Now a lot of innocent lives are at risk! So how can I not blame myself for this?!" Peter protest loudly.
"Calm down! Fisk isn't untouchable, that the kind of B.S. someone like Fisk wants you to believe. He can't outrun the law forever! You need to be patient, God will dispense divine justice in due time! One day he'll pay for all the lives he's destroyed, that's a promise." Mary Jane speaks up to Peter.
"How can I go on living my life knowing that I let a criminal like Fisk go free and unpunished?" Peter says to Mary Jane.
"Because I know you, you always do what's right. You'll find a way to stop Fisk, the right way. You're a good person Peter, but more than that, you're a hero. If you're gonna let someone like Fisk or anyone else stop you from doing what's right, then justice won't be served. You need to stand firm and be true to yourself, keep on fighting. I believe in you Peter." Mary Jane gave Peter some encouragement.
Peter began to feel better as he smiled. "Thank you MJ, for being there for me."
"Always Tiger, always." Mary Jane smiled back at Peter.
Peter and Mary Jane hugged each other as the holiday is still on. Even though things might look down for Spider-Man, there's always hope.
At the same night at Fisk mansion, Wilson Fisk managed to make it home escorted by his personal security. He enters his home as Vanessa is upstairs looking down on him, she see the injuries caused by Spider-Man.
"My god!" Vanessa is getting too worried for her husband.
She came down the stairs and got a closer look at her husband with a bruise on his face.
"How did you survive this?" Vanessa asking her husband.
"This is nothing, I was just lucky that the police arrived in time." Wilson Fisk felt calm around his wife.
"I can't believe that Spider-Man would do such a thing, everyone thought of him as a hero." Vanessa still can't believe this.
"Neither did I, but this won't stop me from coming home to celebrate the holidays with my one true love. You're my center Vanessa, always have been." Wilson Fisk smiled at his wife.
He and Vanessa leaned in closet to kiss one another, Wilson felt like his best self when it comes to Vanessa.
"I love you Vanessa." Wilson Fisk says to his wife.
"I love you too Wilson." Vanessa says to her husband.
"Now shall we celebrate the holidays?" Wilson Fisk smiled at his wife.
Wilson and Vanessa decided to continue the night by celebrating Christmas Eve.
Back in Forest Hills at the Stacy Residence, Peter, May, Mary Jane, and Anna are outside the door as George Stacy opened it.
"Merry Christmas." George Stacy smiled as he welcomed them to his home.
They all enter the house as they see the tree and the decorations around here. Gwen is in the dining room prepping for dinner. Mary Jane, May, and Anna decided to go and help out Gwen with the table, leaving Peter and George to talk alone.
"By the way, I heard about what happened last night. Spider-Man going after Wilson Fisk to assault him, what was that all about?" George is curious about Spider-Man.
"Spider-Man will tell you everything in time, but just know that not everything is what it seems." Peter say to George Stacy.
"Meaning?" George has no idea what Peter is saying.
"I just need you to trust me, and trust that Spider-Man is innocent. Because he is, he's no criminal." Peter asking George for his trust.
George Stacy still has no idea what this whole about Wilson Fisk is about but he knows that Peter and Spider-Man are one and the same. He trusted his instincts and decided to take Peter's word for it.
"Okay, but I'll have to know everything at some point. Understand?" George Stacy says to Peter.
"Yes, I understand." Peter says to George Stacy.
"Hey you two, dinner is ready!" Gwen calls to them.
"Coming, shall we?" George Stacy smiled at Peter.
"After you." Peter smiled too.
Sometime later everyone is at the table having a holiday dinner and drinking cider and eggnog. Peter and May are enjoying the holidays since it's the first time they've celebrated the holidays without Ben, but thanks to their closest friends, they were able to move on and go on with their lives.
Mary Jane got a text from Harry Osborn, he texted 'Merry Christmas MJ', she smiled as her relationship with Harry has blossomed these past weeks. She texted back 'Merry Christmas to you too, Harry.'
Peter is feeling better after having a rough day fighting the Kingpin, but thanks to Mary Jane she was able to lift his spirits. Though MJ isn't the only thing that lifted his spirits, he sees Gwen Stacy and couldn't help but admire her, she's been through so much in these past months, she managed to keep herself going, thanks to her father being there for her, but also thanks to Peter who saved her life months ago, because of his heroism she has a second chance at life. Peter is glad to have Gwen Stacy in his life, she's means so much to him, as a friend bit also as something more.
(Outside the Stacy Residence)
Sometime later after everyone celebrated the holidays, Peter, Mary Jane, May, and Anna are walking out the door as George and Gwen are about to see them going to their homes.
"Thank you for the dinner, George." May smiled at George.
"Of course, we're all friends here." George Stacy says to them.
"Well we should get going." May says to everyone.
"Goodnight and Merry Christmas." George Stacy waves to them.
Everyone is walking to their home but Peter stopped as he sees Gwen waving to him.
"You guys go, I'll catch up later." Peter says to them.
"Okay, see you at home." May walks home with Mary Jane and Anna.
Peter stayed behind as he felt that he's not ready to leave just yet.
"Uh, dad. Do you think that you could..." Gwen says to her father.
"Okay, I'm going. Don't take too long." George is going back inside the house.
George went back inside, leaving Peter and Gwen all alone to talk at the doorstep.
"Thank you for inviting me and May, you were... amazing." Peter says to Gwen.
"Thank you, I couldn't let you and your Aunt spend the holidays alone. I'm glad that you came." Gwen smiled at Peter.
"So..." Peter and Gwen says to one another in unison.
Peter and Gwen smiled as they were about to speak.
"You go first." Gwen says to Peter.
"Uh... no, you go first." Peter says to Gwen.
"Okay... the truth is that... lately I've been feeling something differently for you, as something more." Gwen is blushing a bit.
"Really? I was gonna say the same to you. For the past years since we first met, I always thought of you as a friend. But since that day you almost drown in the pool, I've been having feelings for you, I realize now that you mean so much to me, and that I need you in my life, always and forever." Peter is blushing a bit.
Peter and Gwen continues to look into each other's eyes until they looked around and see that it's starting to snow again, they looked up above the doorstep and see a mistletoe hanging above their head.
"Mistletoe." Gwen says quietly to Peter.
"Mistletoe." Peter says to Gwen.
Peter and Gwen are in front of each other as they slowly lean in close, they hesitated a bit at first, but they leaned much closer as their lips touched, they ended up kissing each other under the mistletoe. Their kiss is slow and their hearts started to beat. They stopped as they broke away from one another after the kiss.
"Wow." Peter smiled as he's amazed by the kiss.
"I know." Gwen smiled at Peter.
"Merry Christmas Gwen." Peter blushed a bit.
"Merry Christmas Peter." Gwen blushed too like Peter.
Peter then walked away as he looked at Gwen one last time before he head home, Gwen has her finger on her lips as she smiled, she finally kissed Peter, it was wonderful.
Peter walked home as he smiled and his heart beats, he finally gave in and kissed Gwen Stacy for the first time.
