Story:

The silver glow of Artemis's temple cast long shadows across the chamber, bathing everything in a soft luminescence. The scent of pine and fresh moonlight filled the air, but neither of them paid any mind to the world beyond the bed they shared.

Percy lay nestled against Artemis, his head buried in her chest, breathing softly. His arms wrapped around her waist as if afraid she might slip away, but she had no intention of moving. Their legs were tangled together in a way that left no space between them, no barrier separating goddess from demigod.

Artemis stared down at him, her silver eyes glowing faintly in the dim room. He looked so peaceful like this, so utterly hers. The very idea made something in her chest tighten—a foreign yet welcome feeling. It had taken her months to admit it, to accept that her heart had betrayed the very oath she once held dear. But she didn't regret it. Not when he looked at her like she was the moon itself.

She exhaled softly, lowering her head, her lips brushing against the curve of his shoulder. A small smirk played on her lips before she opened her mouth, sinking her teeth into his skin—not hard enough to draw blood, but firm enough to leave a mark.

Percy stirred, mumbling something incoherent in his sleep, but instead of pulling away, he only tightened his grip on her. Artemis felt a rush of satisfaction at that. Even in unconsciousness, he sought her out. Good, she thought possessively, her arms wrapping tighter around him. He belonged to her. Only her.

Annabeth had been his past, a love built on childhood dreams and shared battles. But what they had now? It was something different, something raw, something undeniable. Percy didn't hesitate when he fell into her arms—didn't hesitate to give himself to her, completely. And she wouldn't let him go.

She pressed another kiss against his shoulder, soothing the bite with her lips before resting her chin atop his head. He shifted, his face nuzzling deeper into her, and Artemis closed her eyes, allowing herself, just for this moment, to relish the warmth of the man she had claimed as her own.

Tomorrow, they would return to their duties—Percy to his heroics, and Artemis to her Hunt. But tonight, under the silver glow of her temple, they were simply Artemis and Percy. No titles, no obligations—just them, tangled together in a love neither had expected but neither could deny.

Afterwords:

And there we go! Possessive Artemis and cuddly Percy in all their glory. I just love the idea of Artemis being almost territorial over Percy, like she finally let someone into her heart, and now she's never letting go. If you want more moments like this, let me know!
