Sorry if this chapter/challenge was short. I struggled with coming up with the next challenge. In the end, the episode was rushed. So sorry.
"Last time on Total Drama: Despair Island, Dopey Doves and Running Roosters entered a deadly cave filled with deadly animals and plants. Running Roosters had a way to get the diamond coins, causing them to win the challenge.
However, we have two unexpected eliminations. When Dopey Doves lost the challenge, they all voted for Catalina for being a bitch and rude. In the end, she was the next person to get killed. As for Chowder, he ended up eating a poisonous apple and the medics found him after the challenge was over. However, he didn't survive…
Hahahahahaahahaha! Who gives a fuck! It's time for the next episode of Total…Drama…Despair Island!"
Morning has now set. It's been a week now since the deaths of Catalina and Chowder.
Natalya was looking at the sky, thinking about this situation. She must find a way to get help. But since she's a wanted woman back in Russia due to what happened with the whole alien thing, it is an extremely high risk.
"Hey!" Cindy waved, before showing her a plate of cookies. "Want some cookies?"
"Sure," Natalya said, taking a bite of the cookie. "What flavor is this?"
"Chocolate chip cookie." Cindy chuckled.
Suddenly, Natalya spit it out quickly. She's allergic to chocolate.
"Are you serious?! I'm allergic to chocolate!" Natalya yelled.
"Oh, well, Starkweather didn't inform Teruteru about any allergies we might have. So it's a blind risk." Cindy sighed.
"It's a good thing I got my Epi-Pen." Natalya said, grabbing the Epi-Pen and using it.
"Don't worry. I will walk you to the medical tent." Cindy smiled.
Cindy and Natalya walked over to the medical tent.
The next scene cuts to Cocoa Cookie and Mint Choco Cookie walking around the forest. Suddenly, they spot Pizza Cookie and Tiff.
"Oh, hey guys." Pizza Cookie waved.
"So how's your injury, Tiff?" Mint Choco Cookie asked.
"It's fine. I will recover within a few weeks." Tiff said.
"That's wonderful!" Cocoa Cookie said.
"Yeah, but I can't do anything physical until then." Tiff explained. "I thought about eliminating myself."
"Oh no, don't say that!" Mint Choco Cookie gasped. "I'm sure you will make it out alive."
"Starkweather will not care if he has to kill a child. He's just that evil." Tiff started to cry. "I'm more worried that me or Tuff will not make it out alive."
"Stop crying," Pizza Cookie said, patting Tiff on the head. "Luck can happen and both of you survive."
"R-really?" Tiff softly sobbed.
"Positive." Mint Choco Cookie said.
"Thank you guys." Tiff smiled.
The next scene cuts to Candy in the Mess Hall, eating some chocolate chip cookies. Soon, Steve came into the room.
"Hey Steve." Candy said, smiling. "Want some cookies?"
"Nah. I'm good." Steve said, walking to the kitchen before being stopped by Teruteru.
"Hold up! You can't go to the kitchen unless I give you permission. If you want a specific dish, then ask nicely and I will cook it for you."
"Um…can you cook me some mashed potatoes?" Steve asked.
"Sure." Teruteru said, before going back to the kitchen.
Steve sits down next to Candy and watches her eat cookies.
"My team lost two members in one day…" Candy sighed. "One by death and the other one elimination."
"At least Catalina won't be here to insult people anymore." Steve said. "That woman was insane."
"I know!" Candy laughed.
The next scene cuts to Toko writing something while sitting on the steps of the cabin. Komaru came up to her and began talking.
"What are you writing?" Komaru asked.
"My w-will if I don't s-survive this hellhole. Hell, Starkweather m-might be w-worse than Monokuma!" Toko answered.
"Oh, okay." Komaru shrugged. "We can make it out together. All we need to do is find the life idol."
Speaking of that, Dahlia was dragging Tuff over to the big cave.
"Come on, why do we have to go back?" Tuff asked her.
"Because I want to find the second Life Idol there." Dahlia smiled.
Suddenly, Tony popped up, listening to their talk without being noticed.
"Well, technically, you stole one." Tuff said.
"Yes. Besides, Catalina was a bitch." Dahlia said.
Confessional: Tony
"So she's behind her elimination? That's fucking insane."
Tony came up to Dahlia and Tuff. He stopped them.
"So it is true? You sabotaged Catalina?" Tony asked her.
"Um, yeah. She wasn't going to survive in this hellhole." Dahlia chuckles happily.
"Shut up!" Tony screamed.
Confessional: Dahlia
"Looks like I have a target."
Meanwhile, Starkweather and the interns are in a boat as the intern tossed a barrel into the water as it sank to the bottom.
"That's the last one! Good job, interns!" Starkweather clapped, before starting the boat. The jolt causes the interns to fall in the water. "Have fun swimming back!"
Starkweather pulls up the boat as Teruteru and Ramirez were at the dock in their nightwear.
"There you are." Teruteru said. "Did you set up the challenge?"
"Already did. The challenge is gonna be a blast! I placed five bombs at the bottom of the lake. They have to defuse it or…boom!" Starkweather laughed.
"What bombs did you use?!" Teruteru gasped.
"I found the bombs off the internet through the dark web." Starkweather smirked, showing him the phone.
Teruteru grabbed his phone and gasp in shock.
"Starkweather, you literally ordered hydro bombs! They could blow up the entire island!" Teruteru yelled.
"Well, I don't give a fuck. If the island blows up, then that's the contestants' problem." Starkweather said. "They are set to explode at noon tomorrow."
"What the fuck?!" Teruteru gasped.
When morning time came (at around 11 am), Starkweather began to speak on a loudspeaker, but Teruteru stopped him.
"Get up! It's time for your next challenge! And put on your swimsuits!" Teruteru said over the intercom.
"Hey! Let me talk next time!" Starkweather said in anger.
Everyone rushed out of their cabins as they were all wearing their swimwear. They all approached the team.
"What is going on?" Tiff asked. She's the only one to not wear her swimsuit.
"Starkweather placed five bombs at the bottom of the lake! If they go off, the island will explode!" Teruteru panicked.
"So what is the plan?" Dahlia asked.
"Take the boats and find the bombs! They all have detectors on them, so you can track them using these." Teruteru said, tossing a scanner to each team.
"Since Tiff is still injured, she can't participate in the challenge. So she will automatically stay on the dock and talk to her team using a walkie-talkie. Running Roosters will have to pick someone." Starkweather said.
"I will stay here." Nikolai said. "I have knowledge of walkie-talkies."
"Any questions?" Ramirez asked.
Starkweather throws the team pillars.
"Use these to defuse the bombs." Starkweather said. "Now go!"
Two interns drive two speed boats up to the docks and parked. Both teams get on their speedboats, but push the interns out of the boat.
"Sorry!" Tuff called out, before the boats drove off.
At the Running Roosters team, Darwin was looking at the water.
"Didn't know the water was so…beautiful." Darwin smiled.
"Silence, kid." Dahlia said. "We need to hear Nikolai so we can defuse those bombs."
After all the boats left, Tiff and Nikolai were the only ones standing.
"So…how is the weather?" Nikolai chuckled.
"Um…great?" Tiff answered nervously. "Do you know how to work these?"
"Little girl, I've been in the military." Nikolai laughed.
"Give us some good news!" Dahlia said over the walkie-talkie.
"Your boat is coming up on the perimeter of a bomb. Just slow the boat down and dive to the right of the boat." Nikolai informed them.
"Got it." Dahlia said, before hanging up.
Smirking, Nikolai has a plan. He pushes Tiff's wheelchair and she falls into the water, dropping the radar and the walkie-talkie in there as well.
"Oops." Nikolai chuckled.
Confessional: Nikolai
"Generally, I don't care if Dopey Doves lose. I just want to see Tiff miserable."
"Help!" Tiff cried out, before sinking underwater. She slowly swims to the sand, but ended up struggling due to her injury.
Meanwhile, at Running Roosters' boat, Dahlia looked at the lake before spotting something in the water.
"I will dive! I'm a fish!" Darwin exclaimed.
Darwin took a deep breath before jumping in the water. He dived down to a barrel with some bombs attached. There's a thick red wire jutting from the side. He swims down and clips or with the wire. The bomb deactivated as a result.
At Dopey Doves' boat, SpongeBob dives into the water and begins looking for the bomb. While he does that, Jim turns on the walkie-talkie.
"Hello? Are you there?" Jim asked. But he didn't hear anything. All he heard is static. "Uh oh. The walkie-talkie doesn't work!"
"Does it have batteries?" Candy asked him.
"Yes, but it doesn't matter. We lost contact with Tiff!" Jim panicked.
Suddenly, SpongeBob found the bomb and ended up defusing it. Swimming back up, the boat drove off without him.
"Wait! Don't leave me!" SpongeBob cried out, swimming behind.
The next scene cuts to Running Roosters defusing another bomb thanks to Darwin.
"Wow, Darwin. You are really doing a great job on this challenge." Komaru clapped.
"Thank you so much!" Darwin smiled.
Dahlia growled silently, knowing that she also has a threat.
At Dopey Doves' boat, Tony was looking at the lake when he spotted the bomb underwater. But they ended up passing it by accident.
"W-where is the bomb?" Toko asked.
"I don't know!" Caitlin replied.
Tony jumps into the water without his team knowing. Swimming down, he then realized that he forgot to wear a mask and bring the clippers. He has an idea.
He grabbed the barrel and began swimming up the surface. He gasped for air before swimming back to the boat.
Back at the dock, Tiff was laying on the sand, crying in silence. She's super bummed now.
Confessional: Tiff
"I am a failure…"
Meanwhile, Running Roosters' found the fifth and final bomb.
"This is it! The final bomb!" Wyatt exclaimed.
Darwin dives into the water and successfully deactivates the bomb.
"There we go!" Darwin said.
"Perfect! Let's go!" Dahlia smiled.
Darwin got on the boat before Cindy drove the boat back to the island.
Meanwhile, Dopey Doves were arguing and struggling with finding the last bomb.
"Let me drive!" Cash yelled.
"No, no! I should go find the bomb!" Roger Rabbit said.
The Running Roosters team got back to the dock. They ended up spotting Tiff crying.
"Sis!" Tuff exclaimed, jumping off the boat and comforting her. "Don't cry!"
"It's horrible!" Tiff cried. "Nikolai pushed me and I lost contact with my team."
"Boo hoo." Dahlia smiled innocently. "That's too bad."
"Shut…up…" Tiff sobbed.
"So did you defuse the bombs?" Nikolai asked the team.
"Oh yes, we did!" Darwin said.
"Well, not exactly!" Starkweather said. "There's still one bomb left! It will detonate in five minutes!"
"Oh shit!" Dahlia gasped. "Quick, get in the boat!"
Running Roosters (and Tiff) got in the boat before they speed off.
Meanwhile, Tony finally reached his team's boat. Placing the bomb on the boat, he begins to speak.
"Stop!" Tony yelled. "We have four minutes left before the bomb explodes."
"So what is the plan?" Candy asked him.
"It's going to be a deadly one…I'm going to drive the bomb away and let it explode." Tony explained.
Suddenly, the team gasped in shock.
"No!" Candy cried out. "You're telling me…"
"Yes…I'm sacrificing my life." Tony said.
"I don't know how to feel about this." Robina said.
"Does anyone have clippers?" Steve asked.
SpongeBob reached for his swim pockets, but they turned out to be empty.
"Uh oh…" SpongeBob sighed. "I must have lost them."
"Then…we have no choice." Roger Rabbit said. "Tony, good luck."
"But wait! Does anyone-"
"Save it, Candy. I'm a criminal. As much as I want to survive this show, at the same time, I want to get out of it. Look at me. I can't fight Starkweather. He'll execute me on the spot." Tony continued.
"I mean, that is the rules." Steve said.
"Anyways, we don't have much time. Everyone, get out of the boat." Tony told everyone.
One by one, everyone got out of the boat and began swimming away to the dock. Candy and Tony remained there as he began driving. The bomb is counting down.
"Tony…" Candy said. "You're really doing this?"
"Yep. I would rather die with dignity than get killed by whatever Starkweather has. If you escape, the mansion is yours. And I would like to be cremated." Tony said. "Goodbye…Candy."
Tony pushed Candy off the boat, landing her in the water as the speedboat sped away.
As he drove further away, the bomb was counting down. 30 seconds left…Tony begins to remember his entire life - from birth to right now.
Tony had a good life. He managed to have everything he wanted in his life - drugs, money, power, and the women. He just hoped that Starkweather would get karma for all of this.
10…9…8…
As soon as the final countdown began, Tony stopped the boat. Looks like he's very far away.
7…6…5…
Tony looked at the ocean before looking at the sky.
4…3…2…
"Mother…Gina…I'm coming!" Tony yelled.
1…
The bomb explodes, taking the boat and Tony along. Due to the impact from the explosion, he died.
Starkweather noticed the explosion through his radar. The bomb went off, but where…?
The next scene cuts to everyone standing over Starkweather. The interns were carrying Tony's dead body.
"Well, the good news is that we're alive!" Starkweather smirked. "And since Running Roosters managed to defuse most of the bombs, they won."
"Woo hoo!" Dahlia cheered.
"Normally, Dopey Doves would eliminate a teammate. But…our medical interns made a confirmation: Tony sacrificed himself. So you guys won't eliminate someone after all!" Starkweather said.
"Why is that?" Tuff asked him.
"Because we have two new contestants joining us soon." Starkweather explained. "I will explain more at the merge. If you can make it."
"But the challenge is officially over." Ramirez told everyone. "You are all free to go."
"Teruteru will make you a good meal to make you guys feel better." Starkweather said. "Until then, bye!"
Starkweather and Ramirez walked away, leaving the contestants to look at the dead body of Tony. Dahlia however, walked away.
"I was going to plan on eliminating him." Dahlia sighed. "But this will work. One less person to deal with."
Due to Tony's death, no voting confessionals are available.
