"What the hell did you do to me?" Rider yelled as she stumbled out of the summoning circle, her eyes wild and her cheeks flushed with rage.
"I'm sorry, Rider," Kiyo Takahashi said calmly, her fingers hovering over the glowing runes on the floor. "It seems like the summoning process was a bit...rocky this time."
Rider, or Medb as she was known in her true form, glared at her master, the legendary Queen of Connacht now trapped in the modern world as a teenager with a penchant for wearing flashy outfit. She stomped her foot, the sound echoing through the quiet room. "This is ridiculous! Why did you even summon me here?"
Kiyo looked up from her phone, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "Well, I was bored and decided to spice up my latest story. Plus, you know I can't resist a good love-hate relationship."
Lancer, the stoic Scáthach, emerged from the circle with a grace that seemed to belie the chaos of the situation. She took in the scene with a serene smile, her eyes locking with Kiyo's. "Is this your way of giving us a much-needed break?" she asked, the sarcasm in her voice as sharp as the blade she held.
"More like throwing you into the deep end," Kiyo chuckled, her eyes lighting up. "But don't worry, it'll be a blast. Just think of it as a little...adventure."
Medb rolled her eyes. "I can't believe I'm stuck with you," she muttered, glaring at Scáthach. "I should have picked Cú-chan."
Scáthach chuckled. "Ah, but you didn't, did you?" she said, her voice smoother than velvet. "It seems fate had other plans for us, my love."
Medb's eyes narrowed. "Don't call me that!" she snapped.
Kiyo's smile grew wider. "Oh, this is going to be so much fun to write," she murmured, scribbling notes into her notebook.
Scáthach took a step closer to Medb, her eyes filled with amusement. "What's the matter?" she teased. "Don't you like being with your dearest woman?"
Medb's cheeks grew redder, and she opened her mouth to respond, but before she could say another word, Scáthach leaned in and pressed her lips to hers, silencing her with a kiss. Medb's eyes widened in shock, but she didn't pull away. Instead, she melted into the embrace, her arms wrapping around Scáthach's waist.
Kiyo squealed, clapping her hands together. "Yes! Fan service! Thank you, my lovely servants!"
The kiss deepened, and when they finally pulled apart, Medb was left blushing furiously. "You...you...," she stuttered, unable to form coherent words.
Scáthach grinned, a rare sight on the usually stoic warrior. "Anytime," she said, winking at Kiyo.
The room was filled with a sudden silence, broken only by the sound of a pen against paper as Kiyo continued to write. She looked up at the two of them, a knowing smile playing on her lips. "Now, let's get started, shall we?" she said, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "I've got a story to write, and it's going to be epic."
The tension between Scáthach and Medb was palpable, but it was clear that they were nowhere near ready to leave the summoning room.
"I suppose we should get dressed first," Scáthach said, her eyes still gleaming with mischief.
Medb nodded, still trying to process what had just happened. "Right," she murmured, turning to walk towards the pile of modern clothes Kiyo had laid out for them. She grabbed a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, tossing a glare over her shoulder. "This isn't over, you know."
Scáthach followed, picking out an outfit with a more professional flair. "I look forward to it," she said, the smile never leaving her face.
Once dressed, the two of them faced Kiyo, who was now eagerly tapping away at her computer. "So, what's the plan?" Medb asked, trying to regain some semblance of control.
Kiyo looked up, her expression thoughtful. "Well, I was thinking of starting with a simple misunderstanding at your café, Medb," she said, her eyes glancing at the blushing teenager. "Someone important comes in, and you two have to work together to solve a problem. What do you think?"
Medb groaned. "Fine," she said, throwing her hands up in defeat. "But I'm not going to make it easy for you."
Scáthach leaned against the wall, arms crossed. "And what role do I play in this little drama?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.
"You're the wise mentor, of course," Kiyo said, not looking up from her screen. "The one who sees through Medb's tough exterior and helps her grow as a person."
Scáthach snorted. "Sounds like you're setting me up to be the butt of the joke," she said.
Kiyo's eyes snapped up, meeting Scáthach's gaze. "Oh, don't worry," she said, her voice sweet as honey. "You'll get plenty of moments to shine."
Medb rolled her eyes. "Great," she muttered. "Another lovey-dovey chapter."
"Don't worry, Rider," Scáthach said, her voice low and serious. "I'll make sure it's as uncomfortable for you as possible."
Medb shot her a glare, but there was a hint of a smile on her lips. "Good," she said. "Because I'm not going down without a fight."
The three of them shared a look, a silent understanding passing between them. They were about to embark on another chaotic journey through the pages of Kiyo's imagination, and it was going to be a wild ride.
"Ready?" Kiyo asked, her fingers poised over the keyboard.
Scáthach nodded, a glint in her eye. "Ready," she said.
Medb took a deep breath, steeling herself. "Let's get this over with," she said, her voice filled with a mix of resignation and determination.
And with that, the stage was set for another whirlwind adventure in the ScáMedb One-Shot Collection.
