A/N: this one's for Hokage and Hugh, being as for some reason Fanfiction has no way for you to reply to reviews, real intuitive idea there, but I felt like, considering him and Hugh comment all the time he deserved a shout out and a response to a couple of the questions he asked... well... one that wouldn't spoil anything. Lina was in chapter 1 and a couple of the later ones that mentioned all the kids, though only for like a line or two, she was one of the ones story boarded in. I'd like to answer more than that but it would run into spoiler stuff. I do appreciate you and Hugh though... really anyone who comments, it always puts me in a better mood. I debated answering this because I wondered if it would be spoilers, but Hugh called it with the slice of life stuff. It's going to be integral later, even though I'm still kind of building the kids relationships with each other considering there's roughly 14 or 15 of them. But once they're all at least partially fleshed out a lot of the 'modern' stuff will feature them and Lincoln's futile struggle, fighting them becoming like their parents, which I don't feel like is spoilers at this time.

At the risk of sounding pretentious there is some psychological aspects to this story, including cyclical 'trauma' even though they wouldn't see it as such, especially with the older sisters. Believe it or not a lot of this stuff is somewhat grounded in reality... well... except for anything involving Lisa. But that girl has always been the answer to the question, "When does science border magic?" so expect her to be such.

Tl;dr: thanks for enjoying Hokage and Hugh, Lina was, in fact always there... granted hard to see. Slice of Life is a good story telling method. I don't like spoilers so not much past that. This story technically classes as Psychological. Lisa scares me.

On to the story

Luna was close to being 14 when she received her first electric guitar. After she rambled to anyone that would listen for days after the Mick Swagger concert, it almost seemed obvious to her parents that piano was no longer her musical calling. Rita and Lynn found it obvious that their daughter needed the electric guitar to channel her musical energy, and she took to it like a moth to flame. Day and night she practiced scales, chords, hammer ons, and pull offs every waking moments. Logically an amplifier was the next obvious choice in purchases. She played her guitar day and night, driving her sisters crazy. But her brother? He was in awe of every private concert. Lori had just ripped her for playing at night not 8 hours ago.

"Don't you realize some people in this house are, literally, trying to sleep right now?! God Luna, your obsession is literally the worst!"

Whatever... what did she know anyway? She could play as much as she wanted! She began strumming more wildly, energetically, powerfully. She jumped out of her bed, fanning the strings wildly as her fingers seemed to move on her own, her emotions being channeled through every chord. She began to sweat as her fingers fanned between the strings rapidly. Eat your heart out Mick. She panted after she finished her solo, completely out of breath.

"Wow!" a familiar voice called out, causing her to turn her view to the door as his hands began clapping, "Luna, that was amazing!"

Her younger brother was clapping wildly with a big smile on his face, "Y-you really mean it?"

He stoped while rushing her, "Are you kidding?! I've never heard anything like it!"

She blushed and looked away, "Awe, come on lil' bro, you're just saying that."

"No way!" he bellowed, bouncing slightly as he leaned towards her, "I can't believe how good that was! That was better than any of those records we listened to!"

Her blush ended up covering her whole face as she wrapped her arms around her younger brother, "Thanks Linc, you really know how to make a girl feel better..."

"Better?" he tilted his head, "Why would you feel bad? You're awesome Luna!"

She looked away and frowned, "Maybe some people... wouldn't agree with you... Some people think this is just noise," she pulled her knees towards her as she let go of her guitar, "Maybe they're right... maybe I am too loud..."

"So what?" Lincoln grabbed her guitar before it hit the ground and handed it to her, "We're the Louds, what else are we supposed to be? And if anyone thinks I'm wrong, who cares?! I like it!" Luna took the guitar from his hands as she smiled, "I want you to play more! I want to see my big sister become bigger than Mick Swagger!" He sat down, "You're ten times cooler than he could ever hope to be!"

She couldn't help but drop the guitar again as she wrapped her arms around her younger brother who quickly returned the hug. Her biggest fan, from now until the end. Every big move of her life he was there... even turning what could have been the worst night of her life into what would be a top contender of, retrospectively, the best night she could've wished for.

Lincoln was standing in the kitchen with one of his sons and his fourth oldest sister as they prepared for the return of their familial rockstar. Luan had been rotating between pulling pizzas out of the oven and putting newly prepared ones in. 12 pizzas had been prepared, 8 more were left to be readied. Pizza, a staple reward in the Loud house naturally carried to the Loud compound. Lemy, unsurprisingly to everyone but himself, offered to assist his father and aunt in preparing for his mother's return. He was actively running around grabbing ingredients for his father on order. His excitement could barely be contained as he delivered each ingredient a question was sure to follow.

"Where you really at their first concert."

"Of course I was."

"What was it like when they were first starting out."

"Uncoordinated is a bit of an understatement, thank god for Chunk..."

"Were you really mom's first roadie?"

"Well, yeah, technically."

Luan smiled as her brother answered all the rapid fire question from her nephew. It seemed as natural as breathing for him. It was no wonder they all fell for him. His attitude around their kids would force her to fight any woman to keep him. He brought him a case of Italian sausage and he, even though he had asked him 50 plus questions, had just reached out with a warm smile, ruffled his son's hair, and continued answering every miniscule question the boy could think of, even ones he had asked a million times before.

"Did mom seriously play with Mick Swagger?"

"Several times."

"How about Ossie?"

"Once or twice... though I doubt he would remember."

"Did mom seriously dive naked off of a hotel with you and Sam?"

That one took a second for him to answer, "Technically... yes? But there's a few extra steps to that story."

"Between me and Lina who's most like Mom?"

"Lyra."

"Hey!" the eldest sister protested, looking up from her King James Bible, "How do you figure I'm anything like that heathen?!"

Lincoln rolled his eyes and held up his hands to count off the ways, "Instinctively good at guitar, completely abolitionist in your beliefs, rebellious against societal norms," he glared at her, "Overly obsessed with your brother's attention," she blushed and turned her nose back into her bible and he smiled, "I think I've made my point."

"Hey!" Lemy grumbled, "She wasn't a choice!"

He grinned, "Not my fault she's almost your mother's clone."

"Hey!" Lina shouted next, "I think I'm a lot like mom!"

"No, you're more like your other mom."

Lina lowered her eyelids, "How so?!"

"Self sacrificing, follower, not too focused on one thing," he glared at her like he had Lyra, "Overly obsessed with your brother's attention."

She too turned away, cheeks substantially more pink than Lyra's, Lemy turned to Lincoln, "What's that mean dad?"

He sighed as he fried the Italian sausage, "I hope you never have to find out, Lem."

Luan laughed, "Oh come on Lincoln, what's wrong with some, 'familial affection?'"

He turned his head to her, "Do you really want to go down that route?"

"No," she answered as she pulled two more pizzas out, "Just wanted to make you a little uncomfortable."

"Ho hum," he said numbly.

"Dad..."

"Yes son?"

"Why does mom still tour."

He opened his mouth to answer, but stopped himself smiling, "It's... hard to explain. Suffice to say your mother is... too caring for her own good."

He could tell Lemy wasn't satisfied with the answer, but he couldn't bring himself to tell him that the blame lies in his father. Lincoln's stunt 12 years ago, before he was born, rattled everyone in the family, especially Luna, given how young Lyra was at the time. When Lyra saw the familiar look on her fathers face she closed her bible, stood up, and walked towards the kitchen.

She leaned on the counter, "Lemy, ease up with the questions. You wouldn't want to annoy father, would you?"

"Hey!" He looked at his dad who had a distant stare on his face.

"It's... fine Lyra, Lemy can ask as many questions as he wants."

He smiled and ruffled his sons hair, Lemy smiled at his sister, "See?"

Lyra sighed, walked around the counter and gave her father a hug, she felt another set of arms around them, her aunt Luan had the same idea as her, "It's okay Linc."

Lincoln returned the hug with a smile, but went back to work silently, Lemy tilted his head and whispered to Lyra, "What's wrong with dad?"

She ran her hand through his hair with a smile and kissed his forehead, "That's not a land mine you should step on, angel."

He shook his hands over his head to stop the affection, causing her to giggle, before he ran back to Lincoln, "Dad, do you need anything else?"

He looked at his son and smiled, "You think you could help Aunt Luan bring the pizzas to the table? After that you should get ready. Your mom should be here in about an hour."

He turned to Lyra with a concerned look on his face, she smiled and motioned him toward his aunt. He sighed and went over to assist her, giving his father time to calm down. He looked up at the clock, 6 PM. He smiled as he pulled some more cheese out, he knew exactly what was in store for him. The Lionesses were coming back to the den.

"Dude! That was so amazing!" Luna yelled as she sat in the passenger seat, she kissed her girlfriends cheek again as they drove back to Michigan, "What a concert!"

Sam giggled, "I can't believe they're letting us open for them at the Rock City Taphouse next month!"

"An actual Venue!" Mazzy beamed, "Not to mention the 8 thousand and 15% ticket sales!"

"Of course our favorite roadie will be there to help us out, right Linc?" No response, "Linc?" She turned around to see him staring out the window, deep in thought, she waved her hands at him, "Hello! Earth to Lincoln!"

He didn't even turn around, she tilted her head, was he ignoring her? "Give him a few babe," Sam suggested as she put her hand on Luna's shoulder, "He's probably just bummed out about leaving his girlfriend!"

She crossed her arms, "Doesn't give him an excuse to ignore me..."

Sam chuckled, "Oh my God Lune, are you jealous your lil bro is getting stolen from you?"

She blushed at the implication and gently pushed her girlfriend, "Don't be a dork!"

She laughed, "Awe, Luna doesn't want her lil Lincy stolen away from her!"

Luna grinned, "Oh now you're going to get it," She bit Sam's earlobe lightly causing her to shiver.

"L-Lune! Not while I'm driving!"

"What's wrong?" Luna whispered in her ear as she licked behind it, "Can't focus?"

"Just wait tell we get back to your house," Sam threatened playfully.

"Promise?" she joked as she sat back down, grinning.

Her grin slowly faded though as she stared at her brother in the rearview mirror. Dear God, Sam was right. She was jealous of her brothers girlfriend. He was supposed to be her number 1 fan, but he couldn't even focus on the big opportunity her band had. She gripped her chest briefly before sinking into her seat. What was wrong with her?

Lincoln was laying next to his younger sister and lover, she was laying on his shoulder next to his ear. They had set an alarm so that he could go downstairs for Luna's concert, but also so Lucy had his undivided attention. Usually she would read poetry to him normally unless she found it particularly... stimulating. Then she would lean next to him like she was currently doing and whisper, in case of the wondering ears of their... less inclined siblings. Lincoln certainly wasn't complaining. Her unique voice sounded like heaven in his ear. It gave him goosebumps to hear her slowly and methodically read each line. From her mouth directly into his soul. Every once in a while she'd see him shiver and couldn't stop herself from leaving a small trail of kisses behind his ear or gently nipping his neck.

This had been his entire day up to this point, poems on tragic love, intertwined souls, and tantric sex. They were still teenagers after all.

"To take your essence in me is to breathe, to feel our connection severe is to die, my small form your sheathe, my breasts where your hands lie," a small kiss under his ear brought a slight blush to his cheeks, "If you could remain inside forever, complete my soul would be, as you pour in me that sweet favor, our union sets me free..." he could feel as her legs tightened around his thigh, "... dear brother," She mounted him, "Dearest brother..."

He blushed as she snuggled into his chest, "Lucy, settle down."

"Sorry... that one... gets me."

He smiled and touched her flushed cheek, "I can see that."

She rubbed her cheek into his hand, "sigh," she kissed his finger before cuddling back into his chest, "You drive me to madness, dearest brother."

He rubbed her shoulders lightly, causing her to melt into him, "Is that a bad thing?"

"Heinous and evil," she responded, turning to him with a smile, "isn't it great?"

Their lips met briefly, then again slightly longer, she brought her hands to his cheeks and began rhythmically massaging his lower lip with hers. He opened his mouth letting her explore it with her tongue. They only parted as the alarm blared.

"Dang it..." the morose girl growled.

Lincoln chuckled, "It's alright Luce," he kissed her, "We have Tuesday."

"Sigh," she stood up and allowed her older brother to get up.

He grabbed the bandana Luna gave him and tied it around his head. Lucy followed him down the stairs and watched as he left with their parents. She didn't know why, but she had a weird feeling, not good or bad, just weird. She would be left to ponder this feeling until he returned.

It had been 20 minutes since The set had ended, 40 since the time Lincoln promised to be there, and much to Mazzy's disappointment Lincoln had yet to show his face. She didn't expect Luna to be as bummed out about it as she was. When she didn't find her little brother in the crowd or backstage she clammed up.

'Where the hell are you?! :('

'Stuck in traffic, I swear!'

'You better be on your way, I think you broke our front woman!'

'Is she okay?'

'Hell no! I didn't even tell her you were coming and she's this bad, thank god I didn't get her hopes up!'

She turned her head to see her friend being handed a drink by a few guys she didn't recognize, she got a bad feeling as she watched her chug it down. Sam looked back at her but took a drink from another patron.

'Get your ass here, pronto.'

The last message she sent before she walked towards her bandmates. She was trying to get them to stop accepting drinks from random strangers.

"Why not," Luna growled, "Not like I got anything better to do..."

"Sam, talk some sense into your girl!" Mazzy demanded.

"I wish I could," she sighed as she took a swig, "but she's really upset..."

"That's not a reason to drink with her!"

"What do you want me to do Maze? Just let her drink alone?"

Mazzy rolled her eyes, "Sully! Help me babysit these two!"

Lincoln was internally screaming at the traffic blocking him and his mother about 10 miles away, "Mom, are we even moving?"

"Not really," She sighed before mumbling, "Damn semi wreck."

Lincoln groaned as they sat in purgatory. Seconds turned to minutes, minutes to multiple, finally an hour past and he was at the venue.

'I'm here!'

'Finally, I'll meet you at the back entrance!'

He jumped out the car, "See you at home mom!"

"O-Okay! Have fun sweetie!"

He ran past the main entrance to the back where a big guy was standing, just like the stage at Great Lakes, "Hey! You can't be here kid!"

"I'm with the Moon Goats," he explained.

"Yeah and I'm married to Mick Swaggers daughter, kick ro-"

"Lincoln!" he was cut off by Mazzy swinging the door into his face, "Get in here, now!"

She grabbed his arm and pulled him, "Wow! Where's the fire?!"

"Luna's missing!"

"What?!"

"She saw you weren't here, got depressed, started drinking with random dorks and Sam, me and Sully were trying to keep 'em safe but... I don't know, they started acting real funny! I think someone slipped them some Molly!"

Lincoln stopped, "Who's Molly?"

Mazzy grabbed his head, "Ecstasy, drugs Lincoln."

"Drugs?!"

"They wandered off in a club full of drunk guys, Sully's already looking!"

"Let's split up, I'll text you if I find them first!"

Lincoln looked high and low, the main bar, the side bar, the pit, everywhere, but a light flashed just in time for him to see a flash of blue as the men's room door opened. He rushed into the bathroom to see Luna and Sam sitting on the sink, laughing, with a couple of guys he didn't recognize. He could definitely tell they weren't in their normal heads. Luna was rubbing her face on the textured wall and Sam was grinding against the counter.

"You guys are cool," Luna laughed, "Hey, babe?"

"Y-yeah?"

"Is it hot in here?"

"Definitely..."

"You girls should take something off if you're hot," one of the guys suggested.

"Great idea!" Luna agreed as she looped her hand under her shirt.

"Hey!" Lincoln called.

Luna and Sam's eyes shot up, and both cried out in unison, "Linc!"

They rushed and hugged him and started rubbing their faces, Sam spoke first, "Man... you have great skin!"

"Uh..." Lincoln was taken aback by how touchy the drugs made them, "Thanks?"

Luna's eyes shot open and she gasped, "Wait a minute," She pushed off of him, "I'm mad at you!"

She crossed her arms, "I'm sorry Luna."

"Sorry's not good enough," she turned her head, "You're supposed to be my biggest fan, my roadie, and my best little brother."

Lincoln tried pushing Sam off as she rubbed under his shirt, "L-Luna, I'm your only little brother. Sam! Settle down!"

"Yeah, so that's why you should be paying attention to me," She looked down, "and not your dumb girlfriend!"

Sam giggled, "Luna's jealous."

"So what if I am," She clung to Lincoln again, "He was mine first!"

"What are you talking about?" he tried to worm out of their grip.

"You ignored me that entire trip! You didn't even agree to be our roadie again! All because of stupid Ronnie."

He blushed when he remembered what he was really thinking about, "R-right... Ronnie! Luna, I never meant to ignore you," he pulled out his phone while he spoke, "and I tried to make it before the concert, but dad had to work and Mom and I got stuck in traffic."

'I found Luna and Sam, save me, near men's room.'

"C'mon girls, you really just going to be all over this twerp? Come back and hang out with us."

"Piss off ya bloody gits!" Luna barked, "My brother's apologizing... keep going."

"I should've been her for you," she gently rubbed her cheek on his and he face palmed, "this is my fault... if I was here you two wouldn't be like this."

"You were right Sam... his cheek is soft!"

"Oh thank god," Lincoln heard Mazzy sigh.

He turned to her and sighed, "They were in the men's room with a few dorks... I think... I think I might have saved them."

"Mazzy! Feel Lincoln's cheek..."

Mazzy rolled her eyes, "We need to get them out of here, now."

"Couldn't agree more," Lincoln nodded.

"The van's out back," Sully hollered from the door.

Lincoln supported his sister and her girlfriend as they entered the van. He should have been here earlier, but he was happy he arrived when he did. He sat in the back between Luna and Sam, at their mercy for the entire ride. He felt a familiar softness on his cheeks.

"Would you two quit kissing me?!"

"No!" Luna growled, "I still haven't forgiven you, jerk."

Sam giggled, "Look at how mad you made her, Linc. You gonna take responsibility?"

"What does that even mean?"

Luna gently pushed Sam, "Quit teasing him!"

She grabbed her girlfriends hand, "I'm teasing you, dork."

She kissed her fingers, causing Luna to gasp, "Wow... that feels... really good..."

Sam giggled, "You think that did? Come here, babe."

Luna closed her eyes and leaned in to Sam, there lips touched and parted as they ran their hands through each other's hair. Drool began dripping on Lincoln's pants... were they getting tighter. Lincoln slapped his own face.

"Wrong sister, idiot."

He sighed and leaned back in his chair smiling. He gently touched the back of Luna's hair, causing her to look up at him and smile warmly, drool running down her chin, before Sam pulled her back into the kiss. He was still upset with himself they were in the state they were in, but at least they were safe now... but was he?

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Sam and Luna stared at the door before them and smiled. Luna was wearing a studded leather jacket, her usual purple skull shirt exposing her pierced belly button, ripped studded black jeans, and combat boots. Her hair had grown slightly longer, but she kept the sides and back shaved. Sam was wearing similar clothing to her wife, but in a sky blue as opposed to Luna's purple. She had added several blue streaks to her blonde hair. Both girls glanced at each other briefly before they opened the door. Lemy, Lina, and Lyra were waiting in the hall as the door opened. Lemy grinned and raced towards her.

"Mom!" She knelt over and scooped him up as he wrapped his arms around her and snuggled into her shoulder, she returned the affection, "I missed you!"

"I missed you too," she gave him a kiss on his forehead and ruffled his hair, "my little monster"

Lina had run to Sam's arms and she too was showering her daughter with affection, Luna looked up to see her daughter staring at her with crossed arms, "Mother."

Luna smiled warmly at her firstborn, "How's my free bird?"

Lyra smiled, "As good as can be expected," Luna offered her her other arm and Lyra sighed before hugging her, "I missed you too."

Luna grinned, "My two babies... God... what would I do without you?"

Luna set her son down just as a familiar smell graced her nose. Her mouth began to water as she walked towards the dining hall. Her jaw dropped as the 20 homemade pizzas were laid out before her, her sisters, nieces, and nephews all sitting around the table, with one person leaning against the front of it. She knew she was grinning as she and Sam rushed her brother and took him into their arms.

"Welcome home, Lune, Sam."

She held her brother tightly too her and her wife did the same as they took in his feel, his scent, his everything, Luna nuzzled into him and grinned, "I missed you... Linc."

Her beloved brother, her biggest fan, and the father of her children. After a long 6 months of touring... she was finally home.
