The two Kamen Riders left the flower field and went back into the tree.
Only to end up back outside.
"Okay, that's odd." Saikyo blinked.
"Odd that everything we're seen so far?" Louise deadpanned at her sister.
Saikyo looked sheepish at that.
The only way to progress forwards was to jump on giant leaves that were being held by giant mosquitoes. They were small buts with light yellow faces while the rest of their bodies were colored either a desaturated blue, green or brown, also they had translucent wings.
"Is this really the only way?" Louise asked her sister.
Saikyo looked around. "Yep!" She jumped to a leaf and then up to a circle shaped wooden platform that was floating up before drifting down. She hopped down to another leaf.
"Saikyo, move!" Louise shouted.
"Huh?" Saikyo looked down and saw a fireball shooting towards the leaf. "Woah!" She jumped up to another leaf, just as the fireball impacted the leaf she had been standing on, incinerating it and burning the mosquito holding it to death.
"What the heck was that?" Louise jumped up to a floating wooden platform and then down to a leaf. She jumped to another wooden platform as another fireball destroyed the leaf. She hopped down to another leaf, up to a second leaf, summersault across to a third left and then leapt for a fourth leaf. Each leaf was quickly destroyed by a fireball with Louise's feet having only just left the third leaf as it was being destroyed. She just managed to grab the fourth leaf and pull herself up.
Saikyo leapt from her leaf onto a circle shaped wooden platform that was floating from side to side. She waited and then leapt to another platform that was doing the same. Then Saikyo hopped up onto another leaf.
Louise jumped to another leaf, up to a second leaf, across to a third leaf and down to a wooden platform. She shot over to a fourth leaf and down to a fifth leaf. Then Louise jumped to the same wooden platform her sister had landed on.
"Why did those fireballs seem to aim at me more than you!?" Louise demanded.
"No idea." Saikyo shrugged before she leapt onto the next leaf.
Louise fummed before following her sister.
The mini boss arrived. He looked like a human crossed with a dragonfly, he had a brown exoskeleton and an extra pair of wings. He had white mandiles coming from his mouth along with large round green / yellow eyes. He had two broader brown stripes across his forehead and his hands had two fingers. Around her wrists was yellow fur that looked like a pair of bracelets. His neck and chest were covered by a dark yellow furry mane.
Let the battle begin!
The kuuga driver appeared around Saikyo's waist as she cupped her hands around it. "Kari translation!" The driver's light turned on, displaying the cleo setting. "HENSHIN!" She transformed into Kamen Rider Digital, cleo translation.
The pirate driver appeared on Louise's right leg and she drew the gun. "Second endbringer translation!" The driver's light switched on, displaying the leviathan setting. "Henshin!" She pointed the gun at the dragonfly and pulled the trigger, firing a sea green bullet. The dragonfly flew to the right, avoiding the bullet, which turned around and flew back to Louise, merging with her and transforming her into Kamen Rider Endbringer, leviathan translation.
Endbringer shot forwards and slammed her right shoulder into the Dragonfly's stomach, sending him floating backwards. The Dragonfly roared as he spun around, spin kicking her in the stomach. Digital drew the bird bow and flew to the side, firing four bright blue energy arrows at the Dragonfly. He flew upwards, dodging the arrow, only for Digital to follow him and bring her right leg down, hitting him in the head and sending him falling back to the ground. The Dragonfly recovered and gave his wings two hard flaps, firing two crescents of bright silver wind at Digital. The Kamen Rider grunted as they slammed into her, cutting across her arms and chest.
She grunted in pain before spinning around and firing several feathers at the Dragonfly. He flew up, causing them to pass under him before a giant mouth, that had been hidden by his mane, opened and he fired a fireball at Digital. Endbringer threw both hands forwards, firing a stream of water between Digital and the fireball. The fireball slammed into the water and was put out, but the Dragonfly had used the opening to get around behind Digital. He spin kicked her in the back, sending her plummeting downwards before he closed in on Endbringer. She punched forwards several times, firing several bolts of water at the Dragonfly, but he weaved around them.
The Dragonfly closed the distance and punched Endbringer in the stomach before unleashing a barrage of blows that sent her staggering backwards. Then he turned and shot at Digital.
She gripped her driver with her left hand. "Davis translation!" The driver's light shifted to the brawlVeeDra Setting. "SLIDE HENSHIN!" Digital shifted into the brawlVeeDra translation.
Digital jumped up to another leaf and then slashed the Dragonfly across his back with her right claws. He shouted in pain before spinning around and flapping his wings hard, firing two crescents of bright silver wind at Digital. She crossed her arms and the wind slammed into them but it was unable to get past her, much thicker, armor and shattered. Digital leapt into the air and spun, bringing her tail down on the Dragonfly, only for him to fly backwards.
While this had been happening, Endbringer had recovered. She drew the pirate driver from its holder. "Fifth endbringer translation!" The gun's light switched to the tentaclion setting before she took aim and pulled the trigger, firing a sea blue bullet. It slammed into the Dragonfly from behind, knocking him forwards, right into Digital's tail swing. The bullet turned back to Endbringer. "Slide henshin!" It merged with her, shifting her into the tentaclion translation.
"Powers of the crab!" Endbringer lunged forwards as both of her hands transformed into crab claws. The Dragonfly blocked a punch with his right arm but it was grabbed by the left claw. Endbringer swung her other claw around, but the monster managed to duck under it before twisting, throwing her through the air.
Digital jumped down to a leaf and gripped her driver in both hands. "BRAWLVEEDRA EVOLVE TO!" Her driver shifted into the balance setting. Bright blue lightning crackled over Digital's body as she powered up. "VARIABLE!"
Digital leapt at the Dragonfly as a pair of pure white angel wings grew from her back. She spun and slashed down, with the balance blade, cutting a diagonal line through him before she punched him in the face. The Dragonfly was sent shooting backwards before he recovered and his mane / mouth opened. He fired a massive beam of fire at Digital. She took a step forwards and bright blue light hummed around her right boot. "VARIABLE REALIZED!" She leapt forwards with her right boot extended. Her charged boot slammed into the beam and parted it as Digital shot at the Dragonfly.
Then, disaster struck.
The thing about Digital's upgraded form was that it took a lot more energy than her normal forms. While she could maintain her normal forms for nearly a full day, she could only hold her upgrade form for a few seconds.
She reverted back to the brawlVeeDra translation and was consumed by the beam. There was an explosion and Saikyo was sent flying out of the flames, falling to the floor.
"SISTER!" Endbringer screamed before she growled at the Dragonfly. "Powers of the manta!" A long blade appeared along each of her arms before she swung them, firing a pair of bright blue water crescents. The dragonfly flew over them and came down with a flying kick aimed at Endbringer's face, she crossed her arms, blocking the kick and allowing her arm blades to cut into the Dragonfly's foot. His mouth opened and he fired a fireball from point blank range that slammed into Endbringer. She was thrown backwards by the explosion and sent flipping through the air. Enbringer lashed out blindly with her right hand and managed to grab onto a leaf. But the Dragonfly flew over to her and stopped on her hand, Endbringer used her other hand to grab his ankle and tried to pull him off but wasn't having much luck.
Changing tactics, she drew the pirate driver and pointed it up at the monster's head. "Fourth endbringer translation!" The driver's light changed to the mordred setting and she pulled the trigger, firing a bright silver bullet into the monster's skull. The Dragonfly staggered back and the bullet circled around Endbringer as she pulled herself back up. Once Endbringer was back on the leaf that bullet slammed into her, shifting her into the mordred translation.
The Dragonfly opened his mouth and fired another massive stream of fire at the Kamen Rider. She gripped her gun in both hands and coated it in bright silver energy before pointing it at the fire. "KNIGHT'S CANNON!" Endbringer pulled the trigger and fired a bright blue sword construct from her gun that tore through the air and slammed into the flames. The two attacks fought for ten seconds before the sword shattered and the flames slammed into Endbringer, throwing her off the current leaf and onto another leaf.
With a howl, Endbringer's body was coated in bright dark silver light as she got back up. Endbringer drew the pirate driver and the light was pulled into it as she thrust it into the sky. The light turned pitch black and displayed a dark silver clock.
This is the naraka setting.
Endbringer fired a dull silver bullet that slammed into the Dragonfly's eye before it shot back towards her. The bullet shattered into countless shards that formed into a large figure.
He stood about thirty five feet tall and was broad, looking like a feral buddha. He was jet black with white or silver bordering the edges of his features. He had protrusions that looked like leafs of fins, they curled away from his elbows, wrists, fingers, as well as around his legs. These have elaborate designs at the edges, making his fingers and toes resemble claws, while the rest of his features look like dangerous blades. His face was fixed in a permanent snarl, his teeth were silvery white behind ebony lips and coming from the corners of his mouth were tendrils that looked like the whiskers of a catfish. Along his body were gill-like gaps that had a white glimmer, they gave him a tiger-like resemblance and in the middle of his body was a perfect silvery white sphere.
This is Naraka.
"Slide henshin!" Shaking off her shock, Endbringer threw a punch and Naraka met her fist with his own. Upon contact, Naraka shattered into shards of silvery metal that wrapped around Endbringer, transforming her.
Endbringer's boots had turned pitch black with the top parts and the front half of the sides being dull silver. The rest of her feet was covered by bright silver armor. Wrapped around her ankle was a dull silver ankle, at the front of them was a narrow band that connected the two halves. Bright silver armor wrapped around her lower legs, on the front of which was a dull silver line that went diagonally down to the left and started from the upper outside corners. Endbringer's lower leg armor stopped just before her knees which were covered by dull silver knee caps, each of which looked like a watch.
Running from her neck down to her pelvis was a black watch strap. Endbringer's chest was armored by bright silver armor that formed a collar around the base of her neck and was separated by the strap. Two stripes of slightly darker silver armor wrapped around her sides under her breastplate.
Her shoulder armor was bright silver. From the front, back and above it looked like a triangle that pointed outwards. In front of the shoulder armor was a dark black triangle that had it's points replaced by three short lines, it pointed outwards. Coming from the top line was a dark silver band that went up and over the shoulder pauldrons, ending at an identical triangle on the back of them.
There was a pitch black line going along the bottom of the breastplate, it was linked to the front dark silver triangle. Above the left first line was a second line, it started from the outer edge of the breastplate and ended halfway towards the middle of the armor. It was connected to a line that went over the shoulder pauldron and connected to the dark black triangle on the rear of the shoulder pauldron. It was mirrored on the right side and both sets were bright yellow.
Her backplate was bright silver and had a black watch strap running down it, terminating in a buckle, the strap run up the back of her helmet, wrapped around her faceplate and connected to the front strap.
Endbringer's helmet had turned bright silver, the top and bottom of the faceplate were bright white and looked like an hour glass. In the center of the helmet's forehead was a small bronze clock with the hands pointing to twelve and three. The top and bottom of the faceplate were divided by hiragana characters that spelt out 'NARAKA'
Black gloves covered her hands with bright silver armor along the back of them. Everything that was not covered by armor was covered by silvery white mesh that was made of thousands of octagons.
The special thing about this translation was that she had fourteen arms! Two were in their normal place while the other five were connected to her shoulders. All of her hands held a weapon, each were a silvery white color with metal black outlines. The first left hand held a lotus blossom, the first right arm held a conch shell, the second left arm clutched a small chakram, the second right hand held a sphere shaped mace, the third left hand bore a dagger while the third right hand grabbed onto a collapsible trident. The fourth left hand held a single edged ax with a short handle and a curved blade, then a short bow appeared in the grip of the fourth right hand. A curved sword was held by the fifth left hand, the fifth right hand presented a goad, held loosely by the sixth left hand was a coil of rope that ended in a noose or a lasso, finally strapped to the final right arm was a small circle shaped shield. Down by her foot was a snake and next to it was a small lion cub.
This was Kamen Rider Endbringer's Naraka translation!
Start author notes: confession time, a lot of the Endbringer's I'm going to be using come from a worm fanfic called chosen. In the fic of the six cannon Endbringers only the first three have their cannon names. Khonsu's name is changed to Naraka, Bohu's name is changed to Babel and Tohu is called Asura. The thing is I didn't want Naraka to only have his time control powers as the theme I'm going for is that each Endbringer has several different abilities. I looked up Naraka and found that he comes from the same religion as Durga, so there you have it. End author notes.
The Dragonfly's mouth opened and he fired a fireball at Endbringer. She raised the shell to her mouth guard and blew on it, time instantly slowed down. She ran forwards, dodging around the fireball and shook her flower over Saikyo. Several petals dropped from the flower and healed her sister, all of her wounds vanishing. Endbringer sped towards the monster and crossed half the distance before time reverted to normal. She loaded her dagger into her bow and pulled back the string with her now free hand. "GO!" Endbringer released the string, firing the dagger at the Dragonfly, he dodged to the side and fired another fireball at Endbringer. She raised her shield, blocking the fireball, only for the Dragonfly to belize forwards and kick the shield, throwing Endbringer off of the leaf.
Suddenly, the lion jumped off of a leaf and got under Endbringer, she landed on him and he landed on another leaf. "Thanks leo." Endbringer jumped off the lion and brought her mace down. The Dragonfly crossed his arms, aiming to block the mace.
Big mistake.
The Dragonfly's eyes went wide as he was sent shooting downwards and slammed through several leafs. He tried to get back up only for several arrows to shear through his wings. Endbringer landed in front of him and slashed up, sending him flying upwards. Spinning, Endbringer threw her chakram towards the Dragonfly, it vanished and several silvery white streaks shot around him with cuts appearing along his body behind each streak. Endbringer threw her trident at the Dragonfly, it slammed into his stomach, broke through his back and pinned him to a tree.
Endbringer grabbed the pirate driver and pulled its trigger, sending power surging through her body. Silvery white and metal black energy raced out of her body and turned into four streams that gathered around her left boot. "Time breaker!" She leapt at the Dragonfly and slammed her boot into his face, causing him to explode.
Battle ended!
