Authors note: I am not gonna give up until people favorite this story and give it a chance with reviews, but until then I will keep telling a cute story about Alice as she survives a magical world and works to train her magic with the power of Clear cards.
Chapter 7: FOAMing Sticky GEL and the Dueful MAID
Things have been normal for the most part in the castle as things return to normal as it shows its hard working staff working to make sure everyone gets what they need and things are cleaned and organized for everyone. It shows Dorathy with other maids, humanoid and her species as they work to make sure the laundry is done and food is made as well as Dorathy saw a 9 year old maid in training trying to help with Laundry "easy now Mia dont do to much at once, do only as much as you can at your size" said Dorathy "Ok Madam Dorathy" she said politely as they worked together to finish the laundry to take it up to dry along with the others as unknown to them there was a bubbling of bubbles as a pink fin seems to swim into the foam…
While there are those who are dilliagant…there are others who were not so diligent as it shows a red haired beauty dressed as a maid just goofing off by playing with a knight as she snickered "JESSICA!" Yelled a female voice as the now named Jessica turned as the knight left as a 'robust' female with dark black hair tied in a firm French braid "What a pain *Smiles* yes Lady Impa?" She said sickly sweet "Dont say yes to me Jessica your duties have been slacking and you have been forcing others to clean up your slack" she said as Jessica looked innocent "No they are just lying and I have been doing my duties plus you know my condition" she said "Enough, your father sent you to us to clean up your act after you nearly ruined the family with your lies and manipulations, you are to do your duties and punishment with out pushing others to do the job for you" she said walking off "You are on thin ice understand any more slip ups and you will be let go and on the street" she said as Jessica just smiled and waved "Dont worry I will" she said as once alone she walked off but pissed "Uggh that stupid fat bitch if that loser of a brother didnt report me I would had lived up easy street" she said recalling how she evaded to pay taxes and tricked her stupid husband into giving her money and used them on her true lover, but her goody goody brother went and revealed her screams and now she had to work this dumb job to pay off her debts. And she hated ever second of it as she cant slack off or get scolded by pheasants beneath her "Ugg if there is a way to pawn some of my chores off" she said annoyed and pissed as a shadowed figure walked up "Excuse me, let me help you out" she said as Jessica turned and saw the figure.
It was a maid dressed unusual with short blonde hair as she bowed "if you gave me the order I will be happy to assist you in any chore you need, in exchange I need you to take me to my master" she said as Jessica hummed and smirked "Of course if you can tell me who your master is?" Asked Jessica…mostly to keep her away from said master as the maid folded her hands infront of her politely "My master is…"
While Jessica plotted to live the slothful life, Alice was bonding with the new lanturn card as today dressed in Sakuras Aquamarine Apron from episode 5 of the clear ark as she was laughing and play training with Lanturn testing out what they can do "Ok Lanturn-Gale let it rip" she said as Lanturn summoned out held there lanturn out as a whisp filled with wind magic shot out and cut through a taming dummy as Alice cheered along with Orochi "That was impressive so if you fuse the right clear cards with Lanturn his whisps will change?" Asked Orochi clapping as Rhyus made sure she was ok since Dorathy and Axlen were busy with there castle duty "Yup that is what Lanturn told me and we decided to see which works, but just as I figured out he works with those with elemental properties like Shadow, Glow and Gale, I bet with other elemental cards he can create a diffrent set of effects" said Alice as Rhyus was happy to watch the little girl practice her magic as it brought him happy memories of watching his older sister practice magic herself "Just remember that you are to help today as you promise when you are done with your magic practice" said Rhyus as Alice nodded "Haven't forgotten, Lanturn Gale time to fall back we need to help , plus I want to see if like in British mansions I can see if its the same practices" she said as she ran off with Lanturn and Gale vanishing into orbs of light into her card holder as Orochi entered her bag as she ran off to find the lizard maid which didnt take to long as she and her apprentace Mia were hanging up the laundry "Hi here to help out and learn what needs to be done around the castle when needed" said Alice as Mia studied the human "Are you the human that has a very weak constitution that faits by doing the most simplest of things" she said as Alice had a anime sheepish smile "I can still do the simple things but where did you hear such a thing?" Asked Alice as Mia leaned close.
"Well you didnt hear it from me, but I heard it from A butler in training who heard it with the Mainess who heard it from a priestess who heard it from the hero from the hero Sumari that you cant do the most simplest of chores and items that you faint easily from doing the tasks" said Mai as Dorathy glared "Mia what did your father say about gossiping?" She said as Alice scratched a cheek "I can do tasks on my good days I can cook simple dishes, clean my room and put away my books and materials when I draw or do crafts and not faint " said Alice "Oh sorry my bad then I hope me and Master Dorthy can teach you well what we do around the castle" said Mia as Alice smiled at the idea "I bet I can guess what each task that everyone does around the castle" said Alice playfully.
As Dorathy showed Mia and Alice around Jessica was dong what she does best and making sure someone does her job with her words and manipulation as she did with this mysterious maid…who wanted to see Alice "*To herself* though why does she want to see Alice I have no idea but as long as she dosent see that brat I have free labor *to the mysterious nameless Maid* remember what I said I will take you to Alice as long as you help me on a few "Favors"" she said as the maid was working on cleaning around the armor collection "I understand Miss Jessica" she said pulling from her apron pocket a cloth and polish to clean the armors as Jessica watched 'the maid must be magic able to pull tools to do her duty, well what ever along as she does what I ask her to do' she thought however peeking around was what looks like Globby from Big Hero six but with stripes and sticky like wings on his back as he grinned goofy as he slipped around to make a mess.
And with Alice
In the kitchen as she gestured to the cook "The cook here serves and makes the meals to the people at the head of the table *Helps peel the vegetables* sometimes when there is a short staff the cook is the one who serves the meals.
Goes to the front entrance as a well mannered and dressed wolf kin greeting and guiding the guests for a party made by the princess "The foot man delivers the packages and greets the gusts politely and nicely
Shows the butler and Maids doing there duty as the butler leader guides and orders the maids and servents to diffrent tasks "The butler is the head of the servents who make sure that all maids and servents do there duty diligently" said Alice to Dorathy and Mia and a watching Orochi impressed "That is impressive and correct though we have a hirarchy of who is in charge and watches over a group of maids and servents, for us maids we have a head maid who watches over and make sure we maids do our duty duefully and seriously to make sure everything functions well in the castle since its big and spacious" said Dorathy as Alice got curious "Who is the head maid who watches over you and the other maids?" Asked Alice as Mia pointed to Impa who was talking to a group of servents and Maids for work around the castle "That is the head maid Impa, she maybe tough but she is really kind and makes sure we all work hard to keep things going around the castle, but you didnt hear it from me but from one of the other maids she has been getting on the case of one of the new maids who was actually a exiled noble wo was forced to work here to pay off her debts after she got caught cheating and embezzling and sued for her actions and is just a lazy bumb that gets scolded by her" said Mia as Alice was curious though she realizes a big thing 'Mia is a gossip' she thought as Orochi looked at her "She is a real gossip right?" He whispered as Alice nodded "Yup and we need to be careful a bit" she said as Dorthy talked to Impa who seemed worried as Alice heared the word foam all over along with the words Gel spread all over and making a mess as Alice was confused 'Foam? And Gel? I wonder what that means?' She thought curious but her pondering were interrupted as a loud scream was heared as a wolfkin female maid ran in screaming "lots of bubbles down the hallway! Master impa its none of me or the others fault its been gathering around along with this mysterious Gel substance" said the beast confusing Alice as Mia saw her confused face and leaned close to whisper.
"Dont quote me on this, but there was lots of bubble foam spread all over cleaning but its making a lot of slipperiness and a mess at times and in random places there is this sticky gel like substance that is hard to clean even with soap or other cleaning supplies, even using the mop causes it to stick and make it worst" said Mia as Alice touched under her outfit the key and guessed it must be a clear card or two making this mess, possibly the bubble card, but Gel…it came from her and she knows she needs to seal them, first Bubble and then the gel if Bubble can clean it up so she can get to the core. Dorthy seeing Alice finger her key knew it may be a clear card "Alice I am sorry for having to cut things short but its a all hands on deck to figure out what is going on" she said as Alice nodded as she and Orochi ran off out of the room as Orochi floated out "You can tell its a Clear card causing problems right?" Asked Orochi as Alice ran down the hallway "Yup, it seems like the bubble card, she is harmless but playful if she is making lots of foam" said Alice as she heard more yells as she peeked around a corner and saw a few knights stuck in a pink-purple like gel that were complaining on the stickiness and a few noble ladies also having there dresses ruined by the gel "Better hurry it seems the gel card is gonna make a mess around the castle and make everyone sticky" said Orochi "Right…though first I need to make a bit of a costume change…" she said blushing.
Minutes later Alice stepped out dressed in Sakura Kimmonos Battle costume the Yellow umbrella costume that she wore when she captured the Illusion as Orochi crossed his arms "Did you have to wear this outfit?" Asked Orochi "Me and Dorathy make these cute outfits so be polite if on occasion I try to capture a card to wear them now come on *pulls out her key* we need to trace and find the source of the foam and secure it" she said as it glowed softly as she held it cusped in her hand as she quickly ran down the hall to follow the soft glow of the key as she didnt have enough power to sense the magic of the cards as she noted she needs to practice some more as she saw a pile of foam bubbles "Alice look" said Orochi "I see it Orochi, if we follow it we can find the sorce" she said as she ran through the foam as she saw it pile up thicker as it seems to be leading closer to the laundry room "if we get covered by the foam we will be going in blind" she said "then how do you think we should clear it up" said Orochi as the foam seem to try to launch on her as she yelped "We just need to blow it away *Holds out her key cusped in her hand* key which hides the forces of dreams *cue the magic circle appearing as the force of her magic pushes aside the foam before it blankets her and her guardian* reveal your true form before me Release!" She chanted as the key became her staff as she grabbed it feeling the thumb of power as she pulled out the gale card "Gale blow away the foam and help clear a way to the source of the foam" she said as she held her staff forward as she threw the card up "Release!" She chanted as from the card the fish like spirit flew out and with there winds pushed away the foam sending it flying and opening a path for Alice and Orochi as they ran through to get to where the source was in and it was the laundry room as it was filled with bubbly foam all over.
"Looks like this is where the foam originated from and *Gets ambushed* Gahh its ambushing me!" Said Orochi as he was covered in the foam "Orochi calm down the foam is harmless and I think it wants to clean you up" said Alice as it was true as all the dirt and grime was removed as Orochi looked more clean then ever much to his surprise as there was a sound of clicking dolphins as Alice saw something swim in the foam wanting to get away but Alice wont let it happen so easily as she pulled out Seige "Seige block the way to keep the source of the foam from leaving" she said as the white walls of Siege covered the area as the sound of something hitting rubber pushed back as Alice and Orochi saw the source pushed out of the foam revealing to be a cute little dolphin figure as Alice quickly ran into action "Force without master heed the call of my staff of dreams and become my power! Secure!" She chanted holding her staff forward as the little dolphin was absorbed into the card as Seige and gale returned to there card form as they floated into her hand as she looked at the new card she secured as ll the foam disappeared.
Studying the card she saw a Dolphin that was pink with a purple diamond near its eye and three on the lower part of the fin with the fin a dark purple and a light blue under belly "This may not be the Bubble card but it seems to be the same as the bubble card" said Alice "Its harmless just loves to clean to much?" Asked Orochi as Alice nodded "Yup *gets an idea* and if there is Gel all over" she said…
Minuts later as some of the workers were stuck in what looks like sticky gel like substances, a white foam seems to spread out and cover them as the gel was dissolved and they were clean surprising them "What the?" "How did that gathering foam?" Many asked why did the foam that was first causing a slippery mess was now helping them out as it shows the knights as well as Axlen was getting cleaned by the foam wondering what mage managed to make a spell as Axlen can tell it was Alice and silently thanked her for the help with this mess as it shows Alice with Dorathy and Rhyes following Foam as the little dolphin was leading them to find the core of Gel who was making the mess "So the little one was just trying to clean and help us all out?" Asked Dorathy "Yup, Foam sensed Gel being a cheek and making a mess and wanted to clean up after him but he was fast and making messes all over to fast that she can clean up" said Alice "Guess it didnt help she didnt have alot of magic until you secured and shared your magic with her right?" Asked Orochi "Seems like it now come on lets stop the source of the Gel and get everything properly cleaned" said Dorathy as with Rhyes help in pinpointing where the Gel card was as they heard loud screams…or a scream from a certain lazy maid.
"That sounds like…"started Rhyus "Jessica" said Dorathy but she was exasparated "Come on I have good hearing and I know where she is the brat" she said as she lead the group as Alice ask the foam card to fall back into card form to hide as the two followed the lizard kin. As with Jessica…well she was all tied up ltiary from the Gell upside down on the wall as the mysterious made offered a way to get her out of the sticky Gel "NO no no no no, I will not have my hair cut off in such a way" she yelled as the maids suggestion was to cut off her hair as she had a sword out "I am sorry but it would be painful if I try to tear you off in the possession you are in so the wise corse of action is to cut off your hair so that I can peel you off and create the least bit of discomfort. "I still refuse! If my hair is cut it would look ugly and I cant afford to go to a barber to fix it up!" She said but the maid ignored her "I am sorry but for the best safety of the one I obey until I find Alice I will do this to make sure you are safe" she said as she held her sword as she quickly cut her hair into a messy cut as she fell off the wall but half her hair on her wall and having gel fragments on her as she screamed (AN: this is the scream as Dorthy and the others heard)
"YOU DUMB MAID! *Gets into the maid face* if I had known you were gonna do stupid stuff like that and disobey me to make me ugly I should had not used you to do my chores so I can trick that whore Impa that I actually changed and find some other weak willed smuck to do it or trick that dumb brat of a princess to give me the coins I need to leave this dumb castle!" She yelled as the maid was silent and stoic "Should I report it to rank C-Maid Dorathy?" Asked the maid pointing to Dorathy, Rhys and Alice who heard all of that as Dorathy had a look as Jessica chuckled "ehehehe please ignore all of that I was just kidding on all of that" she said "No she wasnt she wanted to use me to do all her chores as she lived the easy side with her earnings she got for working and focus her plans on manipulating the princess and had such a rude mouth saying mean things about Miss Dorathy and Miss Impa *sees Alice* and walks up to her* I am glad to have founded you I hope we can work together in the future" she said with a curtsy as Alice feeling the warmth of her staff (In key form) can tell she is a Clear card "*Whispers* your a clear card?" She asked as the maid nodded "I am and I hope its no problem" she said softly "*Whispers* no problem jus surprised" she said as Jessica screamed its not her fault but the fault of the maid as Dorathy dragged her off saying she will report her to Impa for her laziness according to the word of the odd maid or Clear card spirit as Rhys seeing this looked to Alice "I know I followed but I need to help in getting the truth out of Jessica as she is notctorious for being a lier but I trust you and Foam can clean up the Gel and secure it safe and sound" said Rhyus as Alice nodded "I promise to be safe" she said as the priest ran off to help Dorathy with a mess in the maid ranks as Alice looked at the accumulating Gel knowing the core maybe there "Ok lets do this" she said summoning forth her staff and then Foam that went to work to dissolve the Gel as she looked at the Maid card.
"So you are a clear card? How?" Asked Alice "I do not know how I came to being just a feeling that I must duefully clean and help around as a proper maid" she said "Well…I dont mind hard work and having you around can help the other maids as well if its ok" said Alice as Orochi floated out "I wonder if you can help me around once in a while" he asked "I am afraid I can only obey Lady Alice as I can feel her magic had made me and I felt a connection" she said as Foam continued to clear away the Gel "then why didnt you come to me first?" Asked Alice "On my subconcus as a card I had to obey the first person I see as there maid in order to learn how to use my powers, however has shown to be a lazy master, I can tell a person and how good a master they are by feeling there emotions and learn who they are as well" said the Maid as Alice nodded impressed "Guys I think the gel is getting thicker" said Orochi which was true as the Gell was thick that it shadowed the windows that Alice had to summon Glow who was boosted by the Lanturn card together to get enough light as thanks to it they saw something springy try to jump around as Alice knows its the main body of the Gel "Alice there is is quickly you need to capture it" said Orochi as Alice pulled out the seige and Foam "Lets keep it in one place and clean it all up enough, Release!" She chanted as she held her staff forward as Foam and Seige worked together to ensnare and clean up the Gel like creature as it seems to yell in Globby voice about being clean as Alice had to laugh "Seige can you open up the way to seal the card up?" She asked as the Maid walked up "I would like to also be sealed after all I must make sure my master is safe" she said with a bow as Alice smiled. "Sure lets work together" she said as she held her star staff forward as Seige weakened his walls to show Gels true form which was Globby with dark blue stripes and a pair of gel like butterfly wings
"Force without master heed the call of my staff of dreams and become my power! Secure!" She said as a crystal envelops both of them as they are absorbed into the crystal as It briefly shows there card form as it shatters showing there clear card forms as they floated into Alice hands along with Seige and Foam as she studied the two cards "Gel, and Maid" she said as the Gel vanished dissolved away due to Foam cleaning it up as she got on her knees a bit exhausted but happy "Woah that is three cards in one day Alice that is really awsome" he said as Alice smiled but was worried a bit 'if I am making that amount in one day…I pray it dosent escalate to more in one day' she thought as she hoped her premonitions wont come true as she got up to go back to her room to change into a normal outfit to help out with making sure everything is a ok around the castle. As for Jessica she was kicked out of the castle due to her actions and revelations that she was gonna take advantage of the princess to get her riches.
Needless to say she was now miserable again more so the gel seem to cause her hair to stay stuck in that ugly cut shape for now on.
Authors note: Well three in one chapter three cards as a sign of the bursts of Magic that Alice will create at times
And also the cards The Foam, made by "Joshua1306" is like the bubbles card, harmless and mostly used to clean and is strong enough to clean away all types of messes like the Gel made by the Gel card.
The next card is the Maid card, which works for the one they call master (Like Alice) and must obey there master in cleaning and doing all the duty of a maid, however if her master is a loute or dishonorable she will drop secrets on the true nature of there master to humiliate them and has a bottomless pouch to hold items used for cleaning.
The last card is a OC card made by me that is based on Globby from Big hero 6 who can create a varity type of gels from Gel candy, to binding trap gels or trap gels that can snare a target, he is playful and mischievous.
Next chapter, at night there seems to be the sound of musical instruments playing around causing the castle staff to think there is a ghost as the heros go into investigate as Alice recognizing the tune the musical instruments are playing may be a Clear card
