Cardcaptor Alice Chapter 8: S1 INSTRUMENTAL play, a card captor sakura fanfic

Stillness and quietness at night in the castle palace brings a calm to the night after the excitment of the Foam and Gel attack, the soldiers hoped it will be a bit peaceful after a string of odd happenings with the armor, the Gel and foam as some of the guards walked down the hallway pass a room that once held musical instruments that belonged to the late queen, it was long abandoned as the princess didnt care much for music at times but the king refused to remove it in honor of the queen.

Which was a shame as the queen loved music and had collected a lot of instruments that many who wishes to play music can come in to enjoy…a shame that those days were over…or where they as the sound of a piano was heared echoing down the hallways as it played a odd melody (AN: the song of time (Loz) Piano style) that felt like the flow of time as it goes into the room which was full of instruments as something invisible made the piano keys move as in the shadows was a dark skinned hand waving a baton as if conducting as as he waved it the melody changed as it now seems to sound like a harp nose as playing the harp was a beautiful women in a gown, but what was odd was that she had no face as she played a soft beautiful tune (AN: think the earth gods lyric from Loz Windwaker)

Well there is gonna be rumors going around because of that.

(Opening The devil works part time)

The song opens up showing the land of Merell as it soon goes to a certain village where the summoned heros dwell and are out doing there thing but it changes to show a certain card captor sleeping the same with her guardian.

Right there this moment this is our starting point

It then changes to show her getting dress as she looked at her self in the mirror as she grabbed the card holder as she tied it around her waist and the key of dreams around her neck as she is being followed by Wessel the brown Atiler weasel invisibly along with the mischief and imp card being playful until Garmadon and Pomel scolded them

Lets picture what we might be able to do

It shows Axlen doing his patrol with the spirit of the Spark card and Action possessing the armor following, and then Dorathy doing her duty with Foam and Bubbles trying to help as Kanna helping as she speaks in Bisia as Index the mote translates as Alice looks around the castle with Orochi hiding in his pouch as Nadakhan as a chibi was on her head as she passed the music room with the Phantom and Instrumental playing and singing as you can see guards freaking out

Unbelievable things can happen sometimes

It shows Ryus helping a few patients with Flower and Plant helping giving him the medicines he need as outside the castle it shows Team Star as the leader Aaron was coming home with food as the mystic Ellin was reading tomes as a representative of the knowlege floated helping out.

The ranger member Solaria was practicing with her archery as the Arrow and Excrosist watching though the excrosist was yawning as she got a bullseye as Gansley of the big five scolded him for being lazy.

Everything is born from Zero shin fly to that sky

It then goes to a dark castle as it shows Sarah with two figures that resemble a adult Bebbe and Ryua and then to pentagram city as shadowed were two figures as in a royal room a figure seems to watch Alice

Alice then holds out the key of dreams as it glowed bright and she seems to do her pose with her chant to summon it out of staff form

It then shows Alice stepping forward with all her summons behind her ready to follow her on her quest to become strong enough to walk along with her freinds and who she will meet again in the future

Lets fly off to an unknown world right now

Summoning the flight card as Alice sprouted a pair of wings as she asks the Fly card to merge on Wessel as she took off to the sky flying with her summoned partners though Crump was penguin flapping panicking a bit as he grabbed Wessel tail with Orochi flying next to Alice as she smiled as she looked over the land happily.

I decide I'm the one who chooses my future

It then changes to show Darius studying in his Sheep Cherub form the Akashic records on demons and angels and stories as Jesus watches patting his back in assuredness as the cloaked figure watched in a relm of mirrors as it shows a owl shape and imp shape sitting on a window sill watching the moon of Pride.

Lets follow our dreams Sure some days we'll cry

It shows Mao looking from his crystal ball as he sees Alice disguised as Tormound hanging out with Team Star ready to go on a mission to help out as you can feel him smile under his hood

Its a precious wish dont disappear

It shows Alice laying on her back on bed with Orochi sleeping on a pillow as she gently touched the glowing Key of dreams as the book of Alice also glowed brightly pulsating

At the end of the song it shows Alice ontop of the castle tower looking to the horizon where no matter what happens she will master the power of the clear cards and be able to walk side by side with her freinds and who she saw in her dreams as behind her was her summons as Wessel tucked under her arm as Orochi sat next to her on the edge as she smiled feeling grateful for what she has.

Chapter 8: INSTRUMENTAL Play

Rain

It was a rainy day over Merydell which renews the earth and sometimes it can bring out water based monsters and normal animals that enjoy the freshness of the rain as the camera goes and shows some water slimes enjoying the rain and under the canopy of the trees some wolf like creatures enjoying the rain sniffing around as ducks in a pond enjoy the rain.

However for some dedicated heros…it shows the heros going out in the rain to take care of some rouge slimes that are getting active due to the rain as Sumari used her lighting spell to take down the rouge slimes "This is defiantly like a game, it rains lighting skills get better and more awsome" said Sumari "I am glad you are having fun just remember to be careful with your lightning striking your party" said Kathy "Sorry guys, but it just feels good and free to be able to do things without being responsible of taking care of my spoiled sister" said Sumari just happy to do missions like this and have someone else take care of her sister "You really dont like your sister dont you Sumari" said Samuel as the witch exasperated sighed "No because of those stupid bouts of fevers that my step dad and mom dote on her no one gets fevers at random, I know its just a ploy for attention and when she gets older she will use that weakness as a tool to get everyone under her thumb, she will steal the parents love, she will steal my boyfriends, my stuff and more and more *has a face similar to the female character of Psychopomp in nervousness grin* but I am not gonna fall for it I will make sure that she knows her place" she said laughing evily as Samuel calmly watched as Aussi told Sumari she is going through her Psychopomp face to calm her down as in Samuels mind

In his mental plane you can see a mental version of himself but his face wasnt so kind or handsome but twisted in a snarl similar to Mizuki from Naruto as his normal eyes were just mad prinprics "Heh looks like I am not the only one who hates there sibling and knows the feeling, she can be a perfect girl to have sex with later if that dumb bimbo Kathy would let me be alone *frowns* if she wasnt good with a sword and her magic I would had her discarded but she has mariet *Grins* but it will be ok I am glad I perfected my acting skills, this world is perfect for the plucking and more for I get to be who I truly want to be without having to see that spoiled brat of a brother Kevin" his mental self said as outside he was calm as Aussi and Kathy worked to calm Summari as she muttered hoping that Alice is in bed as she has weakening spells due to bad weather at times and wont be a pest to them.

However it was false as Alice felt good thanks to the 11 Clear cards helping regulate her magic to keep her from the chill as she was wearing Sakura Kimmonos Episode 20 Clear card ark outfit, a blue dress with a embroidered yellow Cardigan as she watched out from under a walkway the rain as Orochi road on her head as Alice was happy to watch the rain "Youre a rare girl who actually enjoys the rain" said Orochi "Well the child of the rain has a bad habit of triggering my weakening at times, but with the help of the clear cards help regulating my magic and warming me I can actually step out at times and enjoy it" she said stepping out as Orochi moaned at the wetness "Oh come hush now it always feels good to walk in the rain I have seen people enjoy it at times and I am glad I get the chance to enjoy it as well though I wish that I have a raincoat, but this is a fantasy place no rubber" she said but she still enjoyed feeling it on her skin as she decided to sing

Alice: Late night clear night look at the stars

Unknown to her you can see the tail of a bird of water and a peek from the cloud a swirly yellow eye and what looks like a little jester in the upper clouds as Alice sings.

Alice then ran around a bit happily with the clear card spirits joining in as well invisibly, well those who were humanoid the more non humanoid items watched shuffling at the girl as she didnt know she was being watched as she sang.

Gale and Shadow gently nuzzled into her as misfit chased Foam along with Gel and Glow as Maid gently danced with Lanturn as Knight calmly watched as Alice gently patted Gales head invisibly not knowing she was being watched.

She then finished her song as she went under the balcony area as she felt happier and uplifted as she heard clapping as she turned and saw someone, it was a boy of 13 with dark skin with black shoes with knee blue socks and dressed in a pair of black and blue stripped pants and a light blue shirt with a blue vest and shoulder less sleeves with cuffs and a white bowtie with a black star, on his face under his left eye were three white diamonds on his dark skin and one pin eye and one red eye with cross pupils and messy teal hair and a conductors cap that is black and purple stripped with white wings "Bramissiva bravo amazing I never heard such a beautiful voice" he said as Alice blushed "Oh you heard all of that tha-tha is something I practiced in private and…miii" she said as the boy snickered "you are cute when you are blushing *bows* my name is Tempo I am a apprentace court musician of the castle" he said confusing Alice as Orochi was also confused.

"Court musician? This place has one?" Asked Alice "Indeed the late queen used to play beautiful music that tickled the fancy of party but with her passing it went silent a shame for the greatest music can create beautiful melodies" he said "I have to agree mostly because I love to sing though Sumari told me she gets migraines when I sing so I tend to do it in private" she said a bit sad but perked up "But I am happy she gets to go out and protect the kingdom and I can sing freely and she can be free of migraines" she said as a few soldiers ran past her "The heros have returned there is a ghost haunting the castle" they said confusing and worrying Alice as last supposed haunting it was a clear card "oh dear not again" she said worried wondering if it was another clear card created. "Tempo come on we need to listen and see what is going on" said Alice as Tempo followed as up on the balcony they saw the heros talking to the princess who was a beauty who just finished finishing school talking to the heros as she complained on how her peace is being disturbed by the ghost of her mom who was the one who kept the instruments.

"*whispers* Do you know the princess?" Asked Alice to Tempo "Only that she is the only spoiled daughter of the king with two older brothers one who is also spoiled according to the other people I asked around about my new princess and that she wants no one to touch the music room after her mom died from what I talked to the guards about it" said Tempo as Alice was worried as she didnt want to drag Tempo into securing the card if the card gets testy. "Um Tempo I am glad you are gonna be a court magician here but I need to go talk to someone I hope the court magician can help…though surprised we have one" said Alice running off worry on her face as once alone Tempo smirked "Strong soul as strong as her voice which makes it quite curious" he said chuckling a bit. Back with Alice she made her way to the hallway as Orochi peeked "You think its another Clear card?" He asked "I may be working on sensing Clear cards but it could be I think I need to learn to sense my magic outside my body" she said as she saw her sister and the other heros talking to the knights as she walked up.

"Hi sis are you talking about the rumored ghost?" Asked Alice as Summari looked at her step sister "What's it to you? You easdroping? But to get you to leave yes how annoying but me and Aussi learned how to use light magic if we can find it we can banish the ghost" said Summari "And just in case *Shows some talismans* we can use these as well, good thing as a knight class that can use magic I learned from the priests" said Kathy "Can I help?" Asked Alice as Summari glared "No, because I am not hauling your ass if you faint during the attack and I miss out on taking out ghosts and redeeming myself you go and play with the staff being your usual self" she said as she was ready to lecture some more but the sound of a instrument was playing "There is is the knights said that when music played it means a ghost or a group of ghosts appear come on" said Samuel as he and the other heros hurried to chase as Alice was surprised.

"That song? That is the instrumental melody of the legend of Zelda song the song of storms" she said as Orochi peeked 'The song of storms? Didnt you sing that before you caught Lanturn?" Asked Orochi as Alice nodded "I did *carefully follows as the instruments changed to sound like the ballad of the goddess as* now it sound slike the ballad of the goddess from Loz Skyward sword" she said as she saw the throne room as she hid behind a pillar as she saw the heros and guards staring at a faceless female who was playing a harp "Spirit leave this place the princess is feeling unease seeing you" said Samuel as the spirit seem to just smile as Aussi had a sword on her Katana as she was ready to attack as behind seem the spectral form of the conductor brothers as they seem to play the instrumental Song of storms as they waved there batons "Wahh *Narrows her eyes* wait are those the conductor brothers Ryu played on a 100% on several Zelda games" she said recognizing the times her brother played with no sleep (the monster) Loz games annoying her with how he can function even with little sleep.

As soon the heros seem to fight the specters as it wasnt just random instrumental songs from Loz but also from other songs like "Kelly watch watch the sky" or Pop team epic and others as Alice recognized them from Kathy bringing her iPhone to listen to music on her bad days 'the card must be connected to instruments' she thought as she saw a cloaked figure "conducting" 'that…' she thought as under her shirt the key felt warm confirming her theory as she carefully snuck away unnoticed. "So you can tell what card it is?" Asked Orochi peeking as Alice nodded "I do its harmless but it maybe best to talk to them just *Sees and runs into Tempo* Oh Tempo hello there" she said "Ah Alice can you hear the hallways fill with the sound of music? Such a canthony of music that warms the soul and feels amazing" he said in a wistful tone that made Alice wonder how long did the castle had no music "was there a time when there was no music in the castle?" Asked Alice concerned

"*Sigh* yes a shame, since the late queen died such silence echos the halls, the younger son wished to share the light of music again but he must go to school to do his studies, but the daughter the princess, spoiled and pushed aside for her reckless personality never got along and when she died the princess asked that the music room sealed away *has a mischievous look* those heros can act so clever but *guestures to show the heros and guards Scooby doo chasing the mysterious voices playing there instruments mysterious tunes of various shapes and forms and when they tried to use there magic it was useless* music cant be stopped" he said walking off "I must go to see the Chancier to start my job as the court musician, I hope that maybe we can work together and create beautiful music together" said Tempo as Alice was now all alone

"What a peculiar boy" said Orochi "True but I wonder if what he said is true" said Alice as she ran off to go check with someone. Not knowing Tempo was leaning on a pillar mysteriously "A good heart and a curious heart, with a love of music, you may sway me and my partner" he said chuckling.

Outside as night comes it is still raining as Alice told Axlen and Dortathy as she and Dorathy put the final touches on her card capturing outfit "So it is true music was barred from the castle?" Asked Alice as she molded her new cardcatching outfit.

She had on pink and white up to her ankle boots and a pair of pink and white stripped pants with two looping belts and a conductor top with a bell tied by a white ribbon and a cape with a gold star metal with a white collar as she tied her hair into a tall ponytail with a purple band.

"Aye it was after the queen died, partway from the kings grief and because of princess Canthia wanted nothing to do with her mother due to how her mother favored her younger brother due to her attitude and baned that no one would enter the music room where her mothers instruments are" said Axlen as Alice hummed "Alice thinks its the work of a clear card and if its not sing, since there is no singing then it must be a new one created" said Orochi as Alice nodded as she turned her cape waving a bit "A card maybe harmless as it feels connected to instruments but I better secure it because I worry the heros and the princess may go mad trying to capture summoning spirits that are made by the card" she said as she and a floating Orochi left the room as she held out the key of dreams glowing in the dark hallway "Key which hides the forces of dreams, reveal your true form before me Release!" She chanted as the key became a staff as she held it forward as she called out the glow and Lanturn "Stay close to keep out the light but dim if we see any guards" she said as the lanturn and the glow nodded as Axlen stepped out "Be careful I'll make sure the guards dont interfere" he said going off in one direction as she, Orochi and the two summoned clear cards continued forward as Alices ears perked up hearing a ocarina playing a melody (AN: Minute of the forest) "More Loz songs?" Asked orochi "Looks like the card knows how I like at times to hum melodies of the LoZ songs" she said as she heard the sound of a pan flute playing a familiar melody as she followed the sound as she felt she was getting closer to the music room as she saw a door that seemed normal but Alice's staff of dream star was glowing knowing it was the spot as she heard a piano play a familiar tune as she recognized it from when she watched One piece with Ryu as he wanted to see the comparisons Oda did with historical fact in his characters.

"That's Bink Sake" she whispered as she slowly opened the door as she and Orochi peeked as inside it was a spacious room with a stage and on the stage a piano and several instruments as sitting at the stage was a familiar afro skeleton…brook playing on the piano a familiar tune, and yet around him seem to be faceless dressed in cloths as they played musical instruments as Alice watched as the song ended as Brook? Looked at the cardcaptor and grinned a skeleton grin "Yohoho its a pleasure to see you mistress I guess you enjoyed our little display of musical playing that tickled the fancy of your sister and the heros and guards?" He asked as Orochi floated up as he had a impressed gesture "Not gonna lie when Alice told me about the Loz melodies that was impressive and if you can form many musical instruments *recalled the word our meaning* wait there are two of you?" Asked Orochi "Not two duplicates, two half of the same card" said Alice as she cluched her staff as she looked around "But where is the second half?" She wondered curious

"I would be behind you dear singer" said a familiar voice as Tempo appeared with a flourish as he showed his baton as he one armed bowed "me and my skeleton partner are two half of the same card, I am sorry for the deceit I just wanted to observe and study your heart to see if you are worthy to use us for your little habit" he said as Alice blushed "You mean my singing *looks at the top of her staff* but I didnt feel the warmth of the key of the stars are you capable of hiding your magic?" Asked Alice "Yohoho some but Tempo since he was the most human was able to hide his aura to study you and play with the guards and the heros and the princess *guestures around* this place we can feel was born from the emotion of the late queen and with your magic we were made along with your love to sing" said Brook as Alice was in awe "I am glad to feel that and to be honest I thought the song card was made but I guess with the lack of singing I should had guess it was the instrument card, fascinating (Orochi: though how can it help?) Back up when I sing if its ok" asked Alice.

"Prefectly ok in fact me and Brook ask for this" said Tempo as Alice was curious "For what?" She asked as Tempo waved his baton up as familiar instruments were created "Care to sing a strong ballad before we are secured together?" He asked as Alice smiled and nodded.

Soon Alice was on stage as Brook and Orochi sat near the piano as Tempo waved the baton in a circle as they played a familiar soft melody as musical notes seem to form around Tempo as Alice started to sing

Alice: Sleepers wake dreams will fade

Although we cling fast Was it real?

What we saw? I believe lost in dreams

As she sings outside the music room the many instrumental playing ghosts paused in there playing as they seem to fade one by one as the heros and guards came up to them and saw them vanish as Sumari was curious the same with Aussi and Kathy who teamed up and Samuel and three guards who did nothing but they are vanishing.

We sleep on tossing and turning

Stay with me by my side

Never leave what if the worst comes?

Outside the clouds clear revealing a beautiful round moon glowing in the night sky as Dorathy was doing her duty as Axlen looked around as if she heard music in the air

If someday this sweet Reverie ends we too

Our memories for real fade by us by dream with me

It then goes into the music room as Alice had a audience not just with the Instrumental card but also the other clear cards as they saw invisible along with Orochi

By the sea we watch the waves crash

At that end of the song there were loud amazing clapping as Tempo dissipated his instruments as he grinned "Bramisiva dear you are indeed worthy of our magic and power, so long as you continue to sing and express yourself we will work together with you *Brook walks behind Tempo folding his hands over the humans chest* secure us and I hope we can make wonderful melodies together" said Tempo as Alice nodded as she held her staff out "Force without master heed the call of my staff of dreams and become my power! Secure!" She chanted as she held her star forward as the two were encased in a stary crystal but not just them…but all of the musical instruments in the room as the crystal shattered revealing a new card as it floated into Alices hand the front artwork showing Tempo and Brook with chibi instruments around them and musical notes. "Instrument" she whispered but she got a weakening spell as she kneeled as Octavia checked on her "Alice are you ok?" He asked as Alice smiled "I'm Ok, but *Studies her new card* but things are gonna be musical" she said happily

As in her room it shows her summoning Tempo and Brook aka the instrument card as she and Lanturn team up sang together with Axlen, Dorathy, Orochi and Ryhus listening enjoying the concert in private as Alice felt happy to have another card and another freind to enjoy this new life together.

Authors note: That is another card and it comes well with Alice love to sing as well as craft, something she never got a chance due to her paranoid step-sister.

The instrumental card can summon instruments that a phantom Spector can play or Alice can play herself if she wants to, They even have a lot of magic to summon on there own to play.

Next chapter a series of pranks that are very very mean spirited and not Mischift as he says he dosent go that far, but maybe something else
