"Can you tell me where you are so I can help you? Please tell me" she asked softly as she saw a door where she can feel who is calling her "Are you there? Let me know and let me help" asked Alice as she slowly reached for the door as a bright light glowed

Alice woke up surprised and worried at what she heared as the voice sounded like her age as she felt Wessel nose her as she saw the weasel monster in her bed as she gently hugged him as he was worried for her as she smiled "Its ok just a bit surprised at what I dreamed about" she said but frowned 'but that girl…she she sounded no older then me I hope I can find and help her, I need to ask Mao for help' thought Alice making a plan to ask the god for some help asking about real ghosts.

(Opening The devil works part time)

The song opens up showing the land of Merell as it soon goes to a certain village where the summoned heros dwell and are out doing there thing but it changes to show a certain card captor sleeping the same with her guardian.

Right there this moment this is our starting point

It then changes to show her getting dress as she looked at her self in the mirror as she grabbed the card holder as she tied it around her waist and the key of dreams around her neck as she is being followed by Wessel the brown Atiler weasel invisibly along with the mischief and imp card being playful until Garmadon and Pomel scolded them

Lets picture what we might be able to do

It shows Axlen doing his patrol with the spirit of the Spark card and Action possessing the armor following, and then Dorathy doing her duty with Foam and Bubbles trying to help as Kanna helping as she speaks in Bisia as Index the mote translates as Alice looks around the castle with Orochi hiding in his pouch as Nadakhan as a chibi was on her head as she passed the music room with the Phantom and Instrumental playing and singing as you can see guards freaking out

Unbelievable things can happen sometimes

It shows Ryus helping a few patients with Flower and Plant helping giving him the medicines he need as outside the castle it shows Team Star as the leader Aaron was coming home with food as the mystic Ellin was reading tomes as a representative of the knowlege floated helping out.

The ranger member Solaria was practicing with her archery as the Arrow and Excrosist watching though the excrosist was yawning as she got a bullseye as Gansley of the big five scolded him for being lazy.

Summoning the flight card as Alice sprouted a pair of wings as she asks the Fly card to merge on Wessel as she took off to the sky flying with her summoned partners though Crump was penguin flapping panicking a bit as he grabbed Wessel tail with Orochi flying next to Alice as she smiled as she looked over the land happily.

It then changes to show Darius studying in his Sheep Cherub form the Akashic records on demons and angels and stories as Jesus watches patting his back in assuredness as the cloaked figure watched in a relm of mirrors as it shows a owl shape and imp shape sitting on a window sill watching the moon of Pride.

It shows Mao looking from his crystal ball as he sees Alice disguised as Tormound hanging out with Team Star ready to go on a mission to help out as you can feel him smile under his hood

Chapter: 12 A ghostly Atiler pact

Morning came around the castle as Alice dressed in her Fredrica outfit again as she went to the area where she can talk to Mao with Wessel as a chibi was on her shoulder invisible, as she learned that summons can go invisible if she allows it as she looked around the building "Mao San? ?" She called looking for the god as said god appeared "I am here young Alice how is your magic is treating you *Sees Wessel* oh you are a summoner and not a card collector?" Asked Mao as Alice smiled "I can still capture cards but I can now form pacts with monsters like I did with this brown weasel…and as a god you can see a invisible summon right?" Asked Alice "Correct no sight of invisibility can be hidden by my sight but a wise idea is to hide you are a summoner as they are rare" said Mao "Axlen told me on that and I am not a normal one as I formed a pact with a non slime monster" said Alice "Actually a summoner as a trial must form a pact with a low leveled monster slimes were on the list as a low level creature as trial" said Mao as Alice nodded

"Um Mao I have a question mostly related to a dream I had about ghosts and if ghosts can become monsters in this world" she asked as Mao studied her as if to judge of he should tell her and decided she was ready "They can, sometimes a soul has a hard time to crossover be it a grudge or they need to do something they couldent do when they were alive, over time they lose there human ethereal bodies and gain a monster ghost like form to protect and hide there identity or for some to be violent on the path, some ghost monsters create there own civilization away from humans while others…well you can guess what they do to adventures" said Mao as Alice hugged Wessel understanding what he means due to seeing the walkthroughs that Bebbe and Ryua showed her "I understand Mao, but I had a dream of a ghost that looks like this atiler ghost and she…the voice was a girl asked me for help um…do ghosts sometimes do telpehic messages to a person?" Asked Alice as Mao got curious.

"Rare but that usually mean they really need help where do you think some side quests to help in a church or haunted house to be the hero to free the spirit…9 out of ten its a trap and those so called adventurers end up worst…" said Mao "That sounds bad" said Alice "Well you said that the ghost sounds like she is your age so there is a good chance its not a trap…but I can tell in your eyes you want to help the poor girl…a fair warning sometimes if the ghost is a child there magic may be uncontrollable due to age" said Mao "That makes me feel sad because I worry for the kid who was killed" said Alice as Mao patted her head "You are a good seed, if there is a mission that deals with a church I can help you get out of the castle just long enough to get to help the spirt in forming a pact.

Cue there was a loud talk outside as Alice ran out as Mao (Shrunken to a chibi riding on her shoulder) as she walked out as she saw Sumari and the other adventurers and there followers looking on a soap box was a priest, he had curved horns and was tall slender and hansom with long blond hair reaching mid back that if if wasnt for his voice he would had been a female but no he was a male "Listen we the Church of the holy sword ask for your help in taking down a ghost who has created armys of ghosts and had sent to cause problems around our dear town while they are small the ghosts are slowly growing in strength and power and form and if not curled they will go on the attack and destroy everything *Points his staff to the adventure group* heros I need your help to excrocise the demon and make sure peace stays strong and hope stays alive" he said continuing his speech as the group listened as Alice got a bad feeling "Um Mao is it natural to have a weird feeling about a person?" She asked "Its natural that priest always gathers up adventurers and rile them up to slay ghosts, and 10 out of 50 times those gatherers are spirit whispers to actually get to the root of the problem with ghosts" said Mao as Alice got worried that she hugged Wessel in his chibi form as he squeaked sharing her worries "Dare I ask what type of troubles?" She asked.

"They became shadowy like creatures known as grudges which are dangerous monsters that take either a humanoid shape or of a monster" said Mao as Alice hugged Wessel harder worried for the mysterious ghost that sounded like a little girl as she got serious "Then I need to save the poor ghost girl" said Alice determined faced…then looked at Mao "Um what church do you think the ghost will be at?" Asked Alice "Try keep listening that priest for any clues if the church has a large accumulation of ghosts it maybe a child ghost having a hard time controling there powers" said Mao as Alice nodded as she carefully snuck close asking Shadow to hide in her shadow just in case for a quick shadow port to the under cortyard.

A bit diffrent then from the Shadow card in Cardcaptor Sakura this version can teleport so long as there are shadows as she listened to the priest as she and Mao heard how there is a infestation of the ghosts with stories of a crying girl as Alice sees it could be the girl in her vision as Mao told hims about the church that wasnt far from the castle about 3 hours and a half walk on foot "it was abandoned 100 years ago and unfortunately with the wisdom guidance of my sister it has become a breeding ground for ghost type monsters for the holy man right" said Mao as Shadow took them to a shadowed spot that was a canopy of flowers and plants that gave a cozy look as Wessel rested in her lap "What's the holy man right?" Asked Alice "A test for apprentace Priests or priestess to slay a ghost, or a test of courage to spend the night in the church…rarely anyone make it as there are a wide varity of ghosts" said Mao as Alice while the stories were scary…she was more determined to save the girl in her vision. "Mao I still want to go and save that poor spirit…even if I dont have many combat cards that can actually physically super hurt any ghosts…" she said as she felt the clear cards warm as she grabbed one and saw it was the Action card "What is it action?" She asked as it felt warm under her hand as of communicating with her "You want to help me out? Oh the armor…and that gives me an idea" she said as she looked at Mao "But I may need your help" she asked as that got Mao curious.

Night soon came as the heros were wrapping up there planning as they planed to go into the church at dawn when the ghosts are more weaker but Alice wasnt gonna wait as none realize in the air was two figures, one with wings as clear as a ribbon folded into what can be described a butterfly wings with a smaller figure floating near her and another with a bundle on the back silhouette among the moonlit sky as the light revealed the figure to be Alice dressed in Sakuras Harlequin bat costume she wore when she captured the silent card the bat wings complimenting the fight cards wings as oddly they were a tinted purple "Woooh team Clear ready to face there first dungon against monsters…ok in context that sounds scary" said Orochi worried "Well with action and Knights help we can get to the spirit, and while I my not know many light spells I can ask Lanturn and glow to team up and Gel to make a light gel that Mischift and Imp can team up throw together to stop the ghosts if needed" she said as she looked at Mao who was carrying the bundle "I will admit the level of a non spirit beings mental state is…a surprise to want to make a body out of a kings armor, just be proud I have a few spirit repelling swords to share with Action when needed" said Mao "Thanks Mao I appreciate it" said Alice genually as in half the time it would get to the church thanks to the strength of the flight Alice managed to make it to the church destination as she floated down to the entrance as she held her staff "Ok everyone I am sure there are abandoned armor *Anime style it shows one by one cards that Alice plans to use as well as a chibi Mao revealing the armor* First Action you can posses your favorite armor that we liberated and Mao *Shows chibi Mao giving a spirit repelling sword* can give some oomph *Then shows action bringing the armor to life that was discarded along with Knight who was summoned and summoned what looks like paladin like armor fighting against undead type Atiler monsters* Knight can help summon paladin armor with light weapons to thin out the ghosts *Shows a chibi her with lanturn and glow lighting the path with Wessel and Orochi with her* Lanturn can light a path and reveal maybe secret places as well* shows Gel chibi and making a cute face glowing white making light based gel as Imp and Mischift harvested the gel threw the stuff at the spirits* Gel can make Light based gel and Mischift and Imp can throw it to blind stop the spirits *Goes to reality showing a proud Alice and her plan "And that is how we can get through this no problem and get to the source.

Orochi and Mao stared for a second "That was wow" said Orochi "And you thought this up after I told you about the church and the ghosts?" Said Mao as Alice scratched a cheek "A bit plus with what a remember about churches like this should had discarded armor and that is perfect for action to possess, and Gel can make any type of gels why not special purifying gel, I read the recipe in a book in the castle library and taught it to Gel" she said shyly and humbly that is just her skill to take all she knows and form a plan with what she got.

"Well, that is still a lot of cards to use at once *Pulls out a mana potion* drink this if you feel tired or exhausted tell me and drink this" said Mao as Alice nodded as she called out the action card who possessed the armor as Mao gave a light sword "Use this to protect yourself" said Mao as the group stepped in. Inside it was like the church Lulu entered to take care of the spirt as Wessel got to full size to walk next to Alice ready to defend her as she pulled out her chosen cards "Ok guys lets work together to get to the main spirit to help them out" she said as she felt the warmth of the chosen cards as she threw them out and activated her staff "All together my freinds lets save a soul" she said as the cards cheered mentally in her mind that she can hear as she called them out to do her plan…but was shaking a bit "Um Mao…" she started as the god gave her the potion "Here drink up, push but not to hard" he said "You are pushing to hard Alice" said Orochi "I know but I did say I want to push hard to make sure I can walk the same path as the others" said Alice determined to step forward

Entering the church filled with monsters Alice and her cards and summon got to work as Action with Knights help called forth Paladin like soldiers who with there light spells and swords and the lone light sword got to work to cut down the ghosts and living armors that actually got the empty armor first but were brought down by Actions own Possessed armors as Alice and Orochi helped Gel prepare light gel balls that Imp and Mischift together threw together to stun sever beast like monsters that dwell as minutes later Alice with Wessel next to her leg and Lanturn and Glow behind her to shine the way with a paladin armor next to her just in case

Which was proven to help as Alice guided Wessel in him curling in a ball to tackle attack as a knight summoned slashed and attacked as Alice used gale to cut down some of the enemies as Alice used her senses to find the source.

'Whos there…why are you attacking' said the little girls voice 'are you gonna hurt me? Please dont me' the voice said as Alice sensed the feeling of fear and loneliness that only a little girl can feel as she used her practicing magic senses to trace it "I am not here to hurt you I am her to try to help you out if you all me to do so" said Alice as Orochi floated close "I can hear it her as well she sounded close I can feel her as well" he said as they soon came to a door

"Please dont hurt me…stay away…stay" started a strong aura of nervous energy as Alice, Orochi and Mao braced themselves as well as the summoned spirits "Poor girl but *Pulls out the instrumental card* I have an idea can you two help me out?" Asked Alice as Tempo and brook appeared "We can hear your heart words and of course we can help sooth this poor soul" he said as Alice held her staff up chanting "Instrumental play a memody that can sooth the soul who was hurt" said Alice as she placed her staff star on the card as the two half of the instrument came forth and played a soothing violin and piano duet as the aura on the door slowly vanished as Alice steps in and saw the one summoning the ghosts. It was a Atiler Lulu ghost but with a pink little cloak and a bat on the back but it looks like it can draw something and a sky blue face and green eyes as it shivered a bit nervous as Alice gently approached "Hay there its me, I was the one who communicated with you" she said as the ghost looked at her "Your voice…you…can you take me away?" Asked the ghost as Mao walked up as she flinched "Are you gonna hurt me?" Asked the ghost "No I am not the priest who wishes to hurt you I just need to check on you" he said holding a hand out as the ghost glowed as he was surprised "Your…your" he started "Your what priest god?" Asked Orochi "he came from the same world as Alice and the heros, your soul…was suppose to go to paradise why are you here?" Asked Mao as the ghost got nervous as if she didnt want to talk about it as Alice got close "Mao maybe you shouldn't ask what is going on the poor girl *Gently reaches out and touches her head* its ok *Wessel steps up carefully and noses the ghost* I got your message and *Gently pats Wessel* can form a pact with monsters…with content…and oh I forgot to mention, my name is Alice *Points to Orochi, Mao and Wessel* and these are my freinds Orochi, Mao and Wessel the brown Weasel" said Alice as they waved or in Wessel case nosed the ghost as he stood on his hind legs.

"Ren…my name is Ren" the ghost said "That is a pretty name Ren and how old are you? I am 8 and you sound like you are my age" she said gently to sooth get used to know the ghost Ren "I am…8 that is what I remember…please that is all I ask for you to ask I will tell you that and other stuff but not what I did when I was alive" she said as she tried to float down as Alice grabbed her as her body felt soft and rubbery "Shh its ok, me and my freinds can help you…you just need to trust us" she said as Ren looked and saw the other spirit of the cards as she calmed down and deep in her soul who was secretly beaten and banged up and saw away to leave this place and not be a place to be killed by the heros according to the priest "I trust you…if you dont think my power is weird" she said "Which is?" Asked Orochi as Ren floated up and showed her bat…but it had a pencil led tip "I…I can write seals and make glyphs I hope its not to weird" said Ren as she saw that Alice had stars in awe as Ren blushed "That is pretty impressive" said Mao as Ren blushed further as soon she and Alice were face to face as she held out her staff as the spirits watched as well as Orochi and Mao

"Ren i hope me and my freinds can help you out, I made a few freinds in the castle and I hope you can like them" said Alice as she held out her staff "I…would like that" said Ren smiling a bit as Alice chanted her spell

The magical circle appeared as Ren felt a warmth connect to her as she felt her body was wrapped in a warmth of a crystal and turned into a card as a sign of a contract as Alice held a hand out open palm as her new card form floated into her hand as her precious freinds saw there new freind "Guys since the group wont come until the morning and its early evening…" said Alice

And in the abandon church art style it shows Alice and Ren sitting on a pew talking as the spirits all played together as Action controlled the armors to dance as Imp and mischief played tag with Foam as Maid cleaned up with her cleaning equipment the dust and gel as Knight was talking with Shadow as Lanturn talked with glow as Flight flew around with Gale circled them as Wessel watched Instrumental play as Ren felt more comfortable as Gel made gummi gels as Orochi enjoyed them.

One way to bond with a new freind, especially to someone who is shy and needs help

Authors note: and that is another pact and with the mysterious Ren who seems to have some history…though she wont reveal but being able to draw glyphs with a bat pencil…well what will that show she can do?

Which she will learn with there bonding experence next chapter as Relleah panics on the odd dip of power as the heros teach there 'students' as a shy verbally abused student named Egress finds a strange pendent that gives him whip like powers and confidence…to much confidence to a dangerous degree
