Erin's POV

This duel isn't going in Joey's favor I thought.

Having enough Joey summoned Rocket Warrior and commanded it to attack Marik. But as expected Marik revealed another face-down card Eye of Wdjat. Zane and I watched as Rocket Warrior became affected by the trap card and Joey's monster was heading directly towards Alligator Sword!

But Joey activated his trap card Fairy Box and Alligator Sword zipped right into it. Rocket Warrior crashed landed into the box and then poked its head out in confusion. Alligator Sword reappeared as well.

"Oh my god that was brutal," Zane said.

"Yeah, it was" I agreed looking at Marik. I wondered what he had planned next. Joey's opponent then announced the blonde had fallen into another trap of his. Marik then said he had a monster that was both a trap and a monster.

"No way!" Zane exclaimed. I was dumbfounded.

Marik then activated this supposed hybrid monster. It was called Embodiment of Apophis and three ugly-looking monsters appeared on the field. This wasn't good the three trap monsters each had enough attack points to end Joey. Marik chose not to attack and Joey quickly played his turn by laying down another card.

Marik then commanded his ugly monsters to attack but before they could Joey revealed Scapegoat.

However, Marik countered with Magic Jammer and Scapegoat was destroyed. As was Rocket Warrior and Alligator Sword. Zane and I winced as Joey was attacked directly. The blonde went to his knees as his life points went to 200.

"You might as well stay on your knees because your last remaining life points are about to be gone"

Having enough my temper snapped.

"Shut up you jackass!"

Zane paled while Duke and Tristan backed away in fright. Mai, Serenity, Yugi, and Tea looked nervous while I continued seething.

Kaiba's POV

Seeing Erin mad was cute.

"Remind me not to anger her Seto" Mokuba suggested.

"Noted little brother"

Erin's POV

"Get up Joey and make a comeback! You were the runner-up in Duelist Kingdom so don't let this guy beat you!"

"Easy sis"

Mai then shouted her own encouragement and soon Serenity did as well. Marik suddenly looked deep in thought and I wondered what was going on in his mind.

"Thanks, you guys!" Joey shouted before getting back onto his feet. Yugi's Millennium Puzzle glowed and a minute later Yami appeared.

"Was wondering when you'd show up" I greeted the spirit.

Yami shot me a smile before focusing on the duel. After making a draw Joey played Swordsman of Landstar in defense and lay two cards face down. Marik thought that was a waste of time but this time Joey was ready. First, he revealed Foolish Burial which allowed him to put a card from his hand into his opponent's graveyard. Next, he played Graverobber and I got hearts in my eyes as the adorable little monster came to life.

Graverobber turned out to snatch Jinzo from Marik's graveyard and Joey played it.

"Now that was a well-played move" Zane stated looking impressed.

Jinzo's special ability was to destroy trap cards on the field. It wasn't long until Marik's ugly ass monsters were destroyed. Joey brought out Battle Warrior and placed Swordsman of Landstar in attack mode. Then one by one Jinzo, Battle Warrior, and Swordsman of Landstar attacked Marik bringing his life points down to 400.

I swore when Marik played Swords of Revealing Light.

Now the duel was back in Marik's favor. But Joey could sacrifice his monsters to bring out stronger ones. And sacrifice Joey did. Battle Warrior was tribute summoned for Legendary Fisherman. He then put his other monsters in defense mode. Marik made his draw and I arched an eyebrow when I noticed he seemed to be shocked.

"Marik's acting strange" Tea pointed out.

"He is" Yami agreed.

"Now I got a bad feeling about this" Zane quoted from Star Wars.

"I now place this almighty card in the ark behind me, Mr. Wheeler by sealing this card into the ark, I am also sealing your fate as well"

"I'm betting that's Marik's Egyptian God Card" I stated looking at the ark myself.

Yami told me about the god cards and all three were on board. Kaiba had Obelisk the Tormentor, the dangerous Winged Dragon of Ra wielded by Marik, and Slifer the Sky Dragon which Yami and Yugi had. Marik ended his turn and Joey used Monster Reborn to bring back Alligator Sword and sacrificed it and Swordsman of Landstar to summon Insect Queen.

"Man that thing is ugly" Zane growled.

Mai was impressed Joey had all of his won cards out on the field.

"Joey's come a long way to get here"

"He's a skilled duelist" I agreed before looking to Serenity. "As he is selfless for using the prize money he won from the Duelist Kingdom to save his sister's eyesight"

Serenity blushed at this. In the next turn, Swords of Revealing Light would be gone and Joey would be able to attack.

"I'm afraid this will be your last turn Mr. Wheeler for I am about to summon a beast that you can't destroy!"

Marik first played the magic card Cup of Sealed Soul before Seal of Surket. Marik explained when these two cards combined with the Temple of the Kings he could summon Mystical Beast of Selket. My eyes went wide as a large red scorpion appeared on the field and it was creepy. But the card hidden in the Temple of the Kings was even worse.

The Winged Dragon of Ra isn't a card to be underestimated a male voice spoke in my mind.

I mentally smiled for the voice belonged to Balerion. Not all of the monsters from the Valyrian Deck could speak only certain ones could like Balerion.

I chuckled at this remark.

And our master has no temper? Come now Balerion a feminine voice joined in. This was Silverwing.

Balerion huffed.

I believe I would win the title of the most hot-tempered of the deck Caraxes reminded his brethren.

As well as the most intimidating I added.

Caraxes snorted before he, Balerion, and Silverwing went silent.
