Erin's POV

I changed out of my regular clothes and into the night ones I brought with me. A simple black tank top and red sleeping shorts. Instead of thinking of sleep, I kept reliving the flashback of Kaiba kissing me. Immediately I felt my face get hot and I pulled back the covers. Tomorrow the Battle City Finals was going to end and I needed a clear head. Not only for my duel with my mate but also for getting my brother back.

Bakura's POV

"You know I brought you back to deal with my dark half right?" Marik's spirit growled. I was currently in Erin's room and I watched my Moonlight sleep.

"I will deal with him later" I hissed at him. "Now if you don't mind letting me have some privacy with her"

Marik sighed before disappearing and I was alone with my beloved at last. I kneeled next to Erin and took my hand into hers. I kissed her hand and I used some of my power to allow a few memories to enter my love's dreams.

Erin's POV

"Shit not again" I mumbled as I saw the familiar surroundings of Ancient Egypt.

More memories it seemed even in my dreams wouldn't go away. At the moment I stood in the ruins of what looked like a village. The place reeked of evil and restless spirits. Footsteps got my attention and I turned to see Mareena entering the village ruins. I was able to see her more clearly now and I almost did an anime fall.

She was my spitting image from the same bronze-colored hair to the same navy blue eyes. She had been crying and I wondered what had made her so upset.

I bet it has something to do with the vision I saw of her and Kaiba's past self I thought.

Mareena walked past me and out of curiosity I followed her. My past self walked into an underground structure and casually sitting on a large stone was Bakura.

Hot damn!

Not gonna lie Bakura was f**king gorgeous. He was well-built and I tried not to drool over his abs. Underneath his right eye was a scar that looked like it hurt.

"So my Moonlight you have left the palace of your own accord" Bakura greeted Mareena. Mareena didn't say anything and only tears went down her face.

Bakura growled before rising to his feet. It wasn't long until the thief brought the Nine-Tailed hybrid into his arms.

"He hurt you didn't he?"

"I thought he loved me"

Mareena's voice was exactly the same as mine too.

"He never did my love," Bakura told her. "His heart only belongs to that girl with the spirit of the Blue Eyes White Dragon"

My eyes went wide at this. The girl from my vision during Kaiba's duel!

The one Mareena had saved. Had she been behind Mareena's heartbreak?

"You may not return my feelings right now my Moonlight but know I am yours"

Bakura placed Mareena's hand where his heart was. Mareena then made the choice to claim a kiss from the thief and Bakura didn't hesitate to wrap his arms around her. The kiss became more heated and Bakura lifted Mareena upwards and her legs wrapped themselves around his waist.

Another vision ensued and it was obvious Mareena and Bakura had sex. The two of them lay in a makeshift bed and only Bakura's red jacket covered them both. While Mareena slept Bakura woke up and a genuine smile came to his lips. He kissed Mareena's shoulder before falling asleep next to her again.

I then woke up and saw Bakura beside me.

"You're a damn pervert you know that?" I scolded him. This made the thief smirk.

"Your face tells otherwise my Moonlight"

"It's f**king late Bakura and I need my sleep" I growled as I sat up.

"I won't keep you awake much longer my precious love"

"Stop calling me that, I'm not yours Bakura"

"I don't care, you are mine Erin, tell me my Moonlight can Seto Kaiba make you feel like this?"

His lips seized mine and it was different from Kaiba's. My body felt like it was on fire and if I didn't stop I would go down a road I couldn't come back from.

"You're such a bastard," I told Bakura after he pulled away. I felt tears starting to form in my eyes. "I can't deal with this right now, for god's sake I just lost my brother to Marik's dark half, and dealing with a love triangle is the last thing I need"

Bakura was silent for a minute before he pulled me into his arms.

"I'm sorry for upsetting you my Moonlight, but make no mistake I will fight to have you in my arms again, only one man can truly love you and it isn't Kaiba"

He pressed a kiss against my forehead and it wasn't long until I fell asleep once more.

Bakura's POV

"What the hell do you think you're doing Bakura?"

The minute I exited Erin's room a pissed-off Seto Kaiba waited for me.

"None of your business Kaiba" I answered.

"Erin is my business" Kaiba hissed.

"Like you would give a damn what happens to her"

My own temper was rising now.

"You better watch it" Kaiba warned me. "Believe what you want but I do happen to give a damn about Erin Randall"

"Pardon if I don't buy that"

Having enough I turned away from the CEO.

"I'm expected somewhere, this isn't over and in the end, Erin will make the right choice"

Kaiba's POV

The nerve of that bastard. How dare he imply that I didn't care about Erin. I entered the code for Erin's room and went inside. I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw Erin was sleeping soundly. I was about to leave when I noticed Erin suddenly wince in her sleep. Quietly I approached her bedside and knelt down. I moved some of her bangs out of her face before pressing a kiss against her forehead.

I then stood up and left as I had entered.

"Seto?" Mokuba asked.

My little brother had fallen asleep while I had been looking at the Winged Dragon of Ra data. My jacket was on him so he wouldn't get cold.

"Right here kid, sorry I had to check on something"

"Get some sleep bro"

I chuckled and went to lie down on the sofa close by. Mokuba went back to sleep and the moment I touched the sofa I was out like a light.

Next Morning
Erin's POV

I opened my eyes and saw the sun was rising.

Shit, I really was tired last night I thought as I sat up. Something gold got my attention and my eyes went wide when I saw the Millennium Ring was on my bed.

How the hell did that get here?

The Millennium Item gleamed again and I picked it up. I was hit with a flashback and I saw Yami Marik dueling Bakura. The Ring then fell out of my hands when I saw Bakura was swallowed up by the Shadow Realm. I didn't shed tears this time but anger took its place. The Millennium Ring obviously wanted me to hang onto it and for the time being, I would. As though it read my thoughts the Millennium Item disappeared on its own accord.

The memory of last night with Bakura still replayed in my mind.

"F**king love triangles" I growled and I got up. I needed coffee and food and I found a carton of iced coffee in my fridge along with some muffins. I devoured two and drank two glasses of iced coffee before making the bed and changed back into my regular clothes.

I put on my duel disk and made sure I had my deck before putting my hair back into its usual style. I wanted to find out if anything happened with Zane but I couldn't get into his room without help and that meant finding either Mokuba or Kaiba.

Immediately my face went red as I remembered the kiss he and I shared last night. I shook my head and left bf my room.

The best place to find either Kaiba brother was at the front of the blimp. And sure enough there with Roland and his colleague was Mokuba.

"Hey Erin, morning"

"Backatcha buddy has there been any changes in Zane?"

Mokuba shook his head.

"I checked on him this morning along with Mai, and Odion still no change"

With Roland and his colleague busy, I made sure to give Mokuba a quick peck on the cheek. Immediately he blushed and it was damned cute. My attention then was brought to something outside. But before I could say anything the blimp suddenly shook.

"The heck was that?!" I demanded.

"Don't know, hey Roland what's going on?!"

"We're going off course sir!" Roland replied as he continued to work on the many panels before him.

"Well we better get back on course before my brother finds out"

Too late for that because Kaiba soon came into the room looking alarmed.

"What's going on?" he demanded.

"We've lost control of the blimp, Seto it's changing direction on its own" Mokuba answered.

"That's impossible"

"Sounds like someone hacked into the blimp" I suggested.

Kaiba looked at me on that.

"I sure hope not this is my ship"

God, he's sexy when he talks like that

After telling Roland and his buddy to try reprogramming something the CEO approached. Mokuba shot me a teasing smirk before going back to work.

"You look well rested" my mate stated.

"I won't be rested until Zane is back on his feet"

Kaiba placed a hand on my shoulder.

"He will be Erin I promise you that"

Mokuba wolf-whistled and Kaiba sighed while I blushed. The blimp shook again and Kaiba managed to pull me into his arms so I wouldn't fall.

"Nice catch Seto" Mokuba teased his older sibling.

"Well I don't want a worthy opponent hurting herself"

Holy shit he's actually flirting

It would seem that way Silverwing agreed as Kaiba let go of me. She was amused and I only sweat dropped.

And we have entered Season 3!
