Erin's POV
"Hey, what's with the turbulence?!" Joey roared as he and the others entered the control room.
"Yeah, some of us were fast asleep" Tea added.
The blimp shook again and I had enough.
"Whoever is doing this crap is pissing me off!" I snapped.
Joey, Tristan, and Duke all hugged one another in fright when they saw my annoyance. I guess they were still a little scared about my Nine-Tailed Fox background. The same structure I noticed from before got my attention.
"Is that the final dueling site?" Yugi asked.
"It is that's where Kaiba Corp pretty much started" Mokuba confirmed. "It's Kaiba Corp Island"
The island in question looked like ruins. Kaiba glared at it with hate in his eyes.
"Kaiba Corp wasn't always a gaming company, the corporation was originally set up by our stepdad to construct high-tech vehicles of war, but Seto took over and changed all of that, the island used to be the central headquarters until my brother tore down all of the military factories, then that tower was built as the new symbol of Kaiba Corp"
"Mokuba that's enough"
My eyes then widened.
"Wait a minute was Gozaburo Kaiba your stepfather?"
That got Kaiba and Mokuba's attention.
"You knew him?" Kaiba asked.
I shook my head.
"No, but my mother did that jerk wanted to hire her for some translation work but she told him to pound sand, even when he offered her triple the pay"
This made Kaiba smirk.
The blimp proceeded to shake again and once more Kaiba drew me into his grasp as the blimp began its descent. It hit the ocean for a second before going back into the air. Just as Kaiba released me a young voice spoke out.
"Greetings duelists there is nothing wrong with your television set I'm in control now"
The screen ahead came to life and a boy that had Kaiba's exact hair only it was turquoise and the same blue eyes smirked back at us. The kid looked to be about Mokuba's age.
"Identity yourself right now!" Kaiba ordered.
"Always barking orders, aren't you? I've been observing you and it's time I put you in your place so from now on I will be calling the shots and the first order is to put an end to your little card game"
Arrogant little brat Caraxes hissed.
Mokuba shouted that the kid wouldn't get away with this. Kaiba demanded to know the kid's name and after a taunt, he introduced himself as Noah. The blimp changed direction and something large came out from the ocean.
"I got a bad feeling about this," I said the infamous Star Wars line.
"By the way Erin? Who do you like from Star Wars?" Joey wondered.
If Kaiba is going to tease me then I'm doing it back
"Duh Anakin Skywalker"
Kaiba looked annoyed and Mokuba was hiding a laugh.
Your mate is definitely jealous Silverwing chuckled.
The outside of the blimp became dark so I assumed we had arrived where Noah wanted to bring us.
"Thanks for dropping in Seto, time for you and your friends to exit the ship"
"Is that so? What if we don't?"
I swore when I saw laser guns being pointed at the blimp.
"I'm afraid refusing at this point is not an option thanks to my stun lasers"
Kaiba growled before walking past everyone and headed towards the exit. He told us to wait here and Yugi protested. Why was my mate so damned stubborn?
The stun lasers went off and that freaked everyone out minus Kaiba and I. The hatch to the ship opened and it looked like we all needed to do as Noah said. I stayed close to Kaiba and looked back at the blimp as we got off. Ishizu would look after Zane while I was gone.
Noah said that everything would be clear soon and his associates would meet with us. It wasn't long until men were laughing and having enough Kaiba told the bastards to show themselves. Then five older-looking men made themselves known and Kaiba's eyes went wide. He knew these guys!
"You should know we would back Seto Kaiba for revenge" one suit greeted.
I didn't like these guys and Mokuba explained these five creeps used to work with Kaiba until they tried to get rid of my mate. Their names were Gansley, Crump, Nezbitt, Johnson, and Leichter aka the Big Five. When Mokuba also mentioned they tried to trap Kaiba in a virtual reality I lost my temper.
"YOU BASTARDS DID WHAT?!"
The five assholes simply chuckled before they said they planned on escaping the virtual world via us. Meaning our bodies and fat chance that was going to happen. A light then shined bright enough that it could have blinded us for a minute before all of us stood in some prehistoric jungle.
"This looks real enough to me" I addressed to no one in particular. My eyes then wide as a big ass dinosaur appeared and it turned its head at us.
I booked it with the others while Kaiba stayed where he was. Yugi told Kaiba to watch out and we all watched in horror as the dinosaur swung its claws forward but they passed through my mate.
Thank f**k I thought.
Tea went over to some flowers and knelt down. When the flowers passed through her hands she looked up.
"Uh, what the hell?" I said as I saw another Seto Kaiba standing in front of her.
"It's only a clone" Kaiba explained from behind us. "I would make them so I could duel myself and improve my deck"
"Hot damn" I muttered because Kaiba's clone was f**king hot. Mokuba shot me a smirk and I turned away.
One of the Big Five began explaining how dueling in the virtual world would work. A duelist would choose a duel monster as their deck master. So Virtual Kaiba chose his Blue Eyes White Dragon which wasn't a surprise. His opponent was a monster called Total Defense Shogun and was its own deck master.
Virtual Kaiba first played Lord of Dragons then added Flute of Summoning Dragon. Two more Blue Eyes joined the duel before Polymerization was played.
"Oh my god"
Seeing Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon was another unforgettable experience. And it was just as breathtaking to see. Virtual Kaiba commanded his ultimate dragon to attack Total Defense Shogun and the dragon obeyed.
Its Neutron Blast was about to hit Total Defense Shogun until the other monster activated its special ability. Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon's attack was deflected and the beautiful beast was destroyed as was Virtual Kaiba. Another member of the five assholes stated when a deck master was destroyed the duelist with that chosen deck master automatically lost the duel.
"You jerks aren't going to get away with this" I snarled as the jungle disappeared and were back in the room prior.
"I've also heard enough! I defeated you five white-collared hazbins before and I can easily do it again!"
Gansley made a remark that pissed me off and since Mokuba was next to me I covered his eyes before giving each member of the Big Five the middle finger. Joey made a comment the five jackasses were going down.
Suddenly a hole formed underneath Joey and the blonde fell into it. Serenity tried to get to the hole before it faded.
"SON OF A BITCH!" I roared as a hole formed underneath me and I was the next to fall.
I don't know where Noah and the Big Five were taking me but there was no way in hell any one of them was getting my body. I lost consciousness for who knows how long until I woke back up.
"Mo *rf**kers" I hissed as I sat up.
I was in some virtual forest and alone. I got up and decided to look around. As I walked I kept my guard up.
"Hello Erin"
I whirled around and glared at Noah.
"I was wanting to talk with you one-on-one"
I didn't like the smirk on his face.
"What about?" I demanded.
"So it's true then that you're a Nine-Tailed Fox"
"Half Nine-Tailed Fox" I corrected him. "And what's your point?"
"Does Seto know what you are?"
"That's none of your business"
"So your afraid he'll reject you once he learns the truth"
He's toying with me
"You know maybe I'll show him and Mokuba the truth"
Noah then gasped at how fast I came upon him and soon he held his cheek where I slapped him.
"Keep my mate and his brother out of this" I warned making sure he saw my glowing eyes, claws, and fangs. "And if you dare harm either one of them or my friends I'll make you pay harshly human"
"Will see about that" Noah sneered before he disappeared.
Kaiba's POV
Mokuba and I woke up in a forest. Now we were looking around.
"Get behind me kid," I told Mokuba as a winged shadow blocked out the virtual sun.
Mokuba did as I asked and I was ready to protect my little brother. My eyes then widened as an all too familiar silver dragon landed in front of me and Mokuba.
"Oh wow that's Silverwing"
The silver dragoness opened her mouth as though she were smirking.
"Who else would I be young one?"
