Again sorry for the late update guys I was very busy last month.
Erin's POV
"If I see another forest, my brain is gonna explode," I said.
The Kaiba brothers and I were in some sort of warehouse area.
"Hey look!" Mokuba exclaimed nodding above.
Standing on a roof was Tristan but immediately I knew it wasn't him.
"Hey! Do you know where Yugi and the others are?!"
"Get back Mokuba!" I yelled as whoever was using Tristan's body jumped down from the roof.
As Mokuba got out of the way the imposter made an attempt to punch Kaiba, but my mate avoided said assault.
"Tristan what are you thinking?!"
"That isn't Tristan," I told Kaiba firmly.
"Smart girl, I've taken over this body and made it for my own, and I'm looking for revenge"
"Not if I have a say about it"
I held my hand out, and a sword appeared in it via my blue fox fire. Its hilt was silver, while the blade was jet black and had red Japanese characters on it.
"How did you do that?!" Kaiba asked. He was dumbfounded at how I just summoned my sword.
At that moment the others found us. I was relieved to see they were okay.
"Kaiba that isn't Tristan! It's one of the Big Five using his body Nezbitt!" Yugi shouted.
Suddenly, Nezbitt charged at me, and I swung my blade against his wooden one. Soon, I had Nezbitt in a dance of blades, and the bastard was losing.
"Holy shit! You rock Erin! Kick his ass!" Joey yelled.
Nezbitt then caught me off guard by slapping me across the face and that pissed everyone off. Then, out of nowhere, a robotic monkey hurled itself onto Nezbitt. Nezbitt sent the little guy flying, and Joey gave the jerk a well-deserved kick.
"Bloody hell, that hurts," I mumbled, rubbing my jaw.
"Let me see"
Kaiba gave me a look over and felt satisfied I was alright.
"Erin, you didn't tell us you knew how to use a sword," Mokuba said as he approached.
"I promise I'll explain to you and your brother later, buddy," I vowed to the younger Kaiba sibling.
The sound of a motorcycle got everyone's attention, and Nezbitt shot out of the warehouse coming our way and, more importantly, mine. Mokuba pushed me out of the way and we all watched in horror as Nezbitt snatched the younger Kaiba sibling.
My duel disk suddenly glowed and Silverwing appeared beside me.
"Flight is faster than your vehicles"
Without argument, I climbed onto her back and told Kaiba to do the same. My mate looked unsure at first, but he hurriedly got onto Silverwing, and the silver dragoness opened her wings and took flight.
I used Silverwing's neck spikes to grasp onto while I felt Kaiba wrap his arms around my waist. True to her word Silverwing was faster than the motorcycle and after flying over the tunnel did Nezbitt come out of it. Silverwing was about to turn her body into a nosedive when she suddenly shrieked.
"What the hell just happened?!" Kaiba demanded as Silverwing was descending rapidly towards the roadway below.
"No idea! Just hang on this isn't gonna be a soft landing!" I shouted over the roaring wind.
My mate and I braced for impact as Silverwing met with the concrete. The crash landing threw Kaiba and me off from her back. Soon I was back on my feet and I hauled ass over to my dragon. Silverwing whimpered, and her left wing had a nasty-looking burn in the membranes.
"Is she alright?" Kaiba wondered as he joined me.
"She'll be fine once she gets some rest" I answered him as I did my best to soothe the dragoness.
An evil laughter got our attention and a mysterious figure was blocking our path. Whoever it was wore a trench coat.
"Move aside" Kaiba ordered the asshole who hurt Silverwing.
"If you ever want to see your little brother again, then you'll have to make past me Mr. Kaiba"
"Fat chance, asshole. If you want a duel, you're facing me!"
"Erin!" Kaiba protested but I held a hand out to my mate.
"No Kaiba, this jerk hurt Silverwing and no one messes with my monsters and gets away with it, so I'm now involved"
"So you're eager to lose your body, Ms. Randall?"
"F**k you" I snarled before activating my Duel Disk.
"Alright you have a point, wipe the floor with him"
"I've been waiting a long time to take you down, Mr. Kaiba. Do you know who your friend is dealing with?"
"I'd thought I recognized your voice Lector"
Lector chuckled before turning his attention to me.
"Now Ms. Randall I'm sure you're aware we each must choose a Deck Master before our duel"
"You hurt my mate human"
Vermithor appeared in a bronze-colored light next to me. Kaiba stared at the Bronze Fury due to hearing him speak. Vermithor turned to me.
"Wielder I ask you to use me as your Deck Master"
"Oh absolutely"
"Duel Monsters aren't capable of human speech!" Lector protested but Vermithor shut him up with a loud roar.
"Apparently, they can in this place, Lector," Kaiba corrected his ex-employee.
Silverwing managed to get up and limp her way beside Kaiba. She then collapsed again and told Vermithor to roast Lector alive. With a dark chuckle, Lector activated his duel disk, and the duel was on.
My opponent went first and summoned a monster in defense mode and placed two cards face down. After making my draw, I brought out Nymeria the direwolf in attack mode. Her fur was a dark grey and her golden eyes burned with fury. Her attack points were 1800.
"Go, Nymeria, send that face-down monster to the graveyard!"
Nymeria howled before charging, and she shredded the face-down monster into pieces. Due to the monster being Hiro Shadow Scout, I had to draw three cards and discard two magic cards.
"Doesn't matter asshole because Nymeria has a special ability like Spear Dragon any of your monsters in defense mode that are destroyed by her still lowers your life points"
"Nice work, Erin," Kaiba praised me.
To be on the safe side, I lay a card face down, and my turn concluded. Lector revealed his trap card, Solemn Wishes, which allowed him to gain 500 lives every time he drew a new card. After his life points went up he placed another monster in defense mode as well as another face down.
"Let's see if you get intimidated by my next monster" I addressed Lector with a smirk before summoning Caraxes.
At seeing Lector, the Blood Wyrm gave my opponent his usual screech, and sure enough, Lector jumped.
"Go Caraxes! Destroy that face-down monster.
"With pleasure," the Blood Wyrm replied, and he unleashed his dragon fire towards the face-down monster.
"Not so fast!"
Lector revealed the Mask of Perplexity, and the next thing I knew, I couldn't see shit. I then heard a howl and Caraxes roared out in anger just as the damn mask left my face. Nymeria was gone, and so were 100 of my life points.
"Damn you" I spat furiously.
"Your anger will cloud your judgment, Ms. Erin"
"Don't listen to him, Erin," Kaiba advised me.
"It would seem you care about this woman more than your little brother, Mr. Kaiba" Lector taunted my mate.
"That's bullshit!" I yelled.
"And what if I do care about her Lector?"
That made me stop dead and I looked to my mate.
"Please Mr. Kaiba we both know that you have feelings for her"
"How I feel about Erin is my business, Lector"
"Stubborn human" Silverwing chuckled.
"Not helping" Kaiba answered the dragoness.
"Hmph very well it's my turn and I'm betting that face down card is a trap, too bad"
Suddenly, a purple blast shot from Lector, and Mirror Force was destroyed.
"You son of a bitch" I hissed. "Your Jinzo aren't you?"
Lector chuckled before removing his trench coat.
"I'm starting to like you Ms. Erin, your intelligent"
"Up yours" I growled before giving Lector the finger. "I'm gonna kick your virtual ass, so be prepared to lose"
