Erin's POV

It turned out that Lector was not only Gozaburo's right-hand man but he helped raise Kaiba. I held back a growl as Lector described my mate's past with him.

"Enough small talk" I interrupted. "We're in the middle of a duel here Lector and I rather finish it so Kaiba can find Mokuba"

"Young Mokuba is in good hands" Lector replied.

"Yeah, right," I disagreed. "I swear to god if you, Noah, or your colleagues hurt him, your gonna pay for it"

Lector chuckled darkly before agreeing our duel should continue.

Lector drew a new card, gaining 500 new life points thanks to Solemn Wishes, and placed two cards face down. I decided to summon a monster in defense mode and out came Sunfyre.

"Sunfyre has a special ability whenever he's brought out onto the field" I explained to Lector. "Only one time during a duel I can have him automatically destroy a card on the field without any repercussions"

Lector swore as I had Sunfyre destroy the face-down card to the left, and it was a smart move because it had been Cyber Jar. Had Caraxes attacked it he and Sunfyre would have been eliminated and I would have lost more life points.

Out of the corner of my eye, Kaiba looked pleased, and that made me blush a little.

"You'll pay for that" Lector growled.

He drew again and gained more life points before bringing out Injection Fairy Lily. Then he activated Watch Tranquilizer and both Caraxes and Sunfyre roared as their attack points lowered by 100 points per their number of stars. Caraxes was now at 1500 while Sunfyre was at 1400.

"Now by giving up 2000 life points Ms. Erin, my Injection Fairy Lily's attack points go to 3000, strong enough to get rid of your Caraxes"

Caraxes shrieked in anger, and it wasn't long until the Blood Wyrm was destroyed, and my life points were at 2300. Lector played his other face-down card, Sebek's Blessing and his life points were increased by the amount I just lost.

"Erin, stay calm," Kaiba advised me. "You won't be able to think clearly if anger clouds your thoughts"

"The Stubborn One is right" Vermithor agreed. "Stay focused on the duel, Wielder"

Kaiba shot Vermithor a glare.

"I'm not stubborn"

"You are child," Silverwing added. My mate gave Silverwing a look of disapproval, and she opened her mouth in a dragon smirk.

Lector concluded his turn with a monster in defense mode and I made my draw. I smirked when I saw the card I just drew and then summoned Dreamfyre in attack mode.

"This is payback for sending Caraxes to the graveyard asshole!"

I then played Swords of Revealing Light, and Lector protested as the swords lit up the field.

"Payback's a bitch Lector" I sneered at him.

My gut told me not to attack with Dreamfyre, so the blue and white dragoness would have to wait to attack.

"You should have attacked me when you had the chance, Ms. Erin"

Lector the sacrificed a face-down monster to supposedly summon his ultimate weapon. And that weapon was a damn rocket that was sent into the virtual world's orbit.

"In three turns your Swords of Revealing Light will be done and you'll lose the duel along with your body Ms. Erin"

"We'll see about that you cocky bastard"

Lector chuckled before playing a card that looked like a gauge of some sort.

"Dreamfyre get rid of Injection Fairy Lily! Dracarys!"

Dreamfyre roared and opened her mouth and her dragon fire was unleashed.

"I may not be able to attack but I can still raise Lily's attack points!"

"You son of a bitch!" I yelled as his winged monster's attack went up to 3,000 and Dreamfyre was destroyed.

Damn it, I have to turn this duel around, I thought.

I looked at Kaiba and couldn't even imagine how worried he was about Mokuba. I had to win this duel not only for myself but for my mate as well. It was then I noticed the gauge card went up. I ended my turn with a card face down.

"Kaiba! Erin!"

Both Kaiba and I turned to see Yugi and the others across the broken bridge. They managed to find a truck and drove it out here.

"Yugi," Kaiba said.

"Shit! Be careful Erin! Jinzo isn't a joke!" Joey shouted.

I gave the blonde a smirk before turning my attention to the duel. Lector once again gained more life points from Solemn Wishes and Life-Absorbing Machine which he played before I summoned Dreamfyre. As I drew a new card I saw it was Balerion. It was now or never.

"Your f (king done, Lector," I hissed before first playing Monster Reborn.

Caraxes returned to the field, and he gave Lector a loud ear-piercing shriek.

"Your Lily is about to be taken out! With this!"

I unveiled Heavy Storm and the magic card did the trick. Solemn Wishes, Life-Absorbing Machine, and the energy gauge card disappeared.

"Now I sacrifice Caraxes and Sunfyre!" I shouted as the Blood Wyrm and Sunfyre disappeared, and like before, the wind began to blow like crazy, signaling Balerion's arrival. "To summon the almighty Balerion' the Black Dread!"

No sooner did I slam Balerion onto my duel disk than the enormous black dragon appear behind me and Kaiba.

"Soves! Balerion rise!"

Balerion roared before taking flight and he rose high.

"He won't be able to get to my satellite" Lector stated.

"Oh, he shall," Vermithor sneered at Lector.

At that moment, I felt Balerion had indeed gotten close to the satellite, and within my mind, I commanded him to destroy it. It wasn't long until a large fiery inferno in the shape of a funnel came out of the sky and hit the ocean.

"Now that your machine is gone, your Lily is done for! Vermithor!"

Vermithor roared and he opened his mouth and unleashed a massive stream of dragon fire. Injection Fairy Lily was destroyed and Lector lost his remaining life points. The others cheered as Vermithor shot me a fanged smirk before he and Silverwing disappeared and I also felt Balerion do the same. My anger then returned, and it wasn't long until I was beating the ever-living crap out of Lector.

"Where's Mokuba you evil jackass" I demanded as Kaiba joined me.

"He'll never see his brother again," Lector addressed us before giving Kaiba a glance and he disappeared.

I growled before turning to my mate.

"Go on and find Mokuba"

"But Erin," Kaiba began to argue, but I shook my head.

"I'll be right behind you now go"

Kaiba nodded, but before leaving, he squeezed my hand.

"Hey, where is he going?!" Joey demanded as he and the others joined me.

"Getting a head start to find Mokuba" I explained.

"Erin, you say your deck isn't invincible, but it is holy hell," Joey said nervously. "Not gonna lie your dragons are intimidating"

"Hey knock it off!" Duke snapped as he picked up the same robotic monkey from before by its tail.

I then felt my eyes turn gold and I saw Tristan's spirit within the robotic toy.

"Duke don't! That's Tristan!" Serenity protested.

"I still think he's Noah's pet"

"He's not" I interrupted. I then made Duke give the robotic Tristan to me. "His spirit and soul are here"

"Wait you can see his spirit?" Tea inquired in shock. I gave her a smirk.

"One of the advantages of being a Nine-Tailed Fox"

"Dang you foxes are awesome!" Tristan stated.

"Well if Erin says it's Tristan then it's him"

"Be nice" I suggested to Joey as I gave Tristan back to Serenity. "I'm going after Kaiba"

"We'll come with you" Tea and Yugi offered.
