Erin's POV

Even though Duke was a freaking statue Yami only chuckled.

"What's so funny? I wouldn't be laughing if I were you, Yugi," Noah sneered.

"You are still a child who hasn't matured at all and with my friends cheering me on, I will win this duel"

"I really wish the Geek Squad would stop mentioning that," Kaiba said, annoyed. "Hearing the friendship speech over and over again can get tiring"

"My, my, you certainly are a grouch, Stubborn One," Vermithor teased my mate. My Zaldrizes sent the dragon a glare while the male dragon returned the favor with a smirk.

"Knock it off, Vermithor," I reprimanded the Bronze Fury.

Vermithor sighed before giving a nod. Mokuba was doing his best not to laugh.

After making another rude remark Noah played the trap card Pyro Clock of Destiny. This meant Swords of Revealing Light were out of play, and Noah flipped summoned Otohime. Due to its special ability one of Yami's monsters would change battle positions. Kuriboh protested as it went into attack mode and Noah sacrificed Otomehime.

"Come on Yami!" I shouted hoping not to break Kaiba and Mokuba's hearing. "You can still win this!"

Yamata Dragon returned to the field and immediately attacked Kuriboh. But Yami wasn't stupid. I knew he had a plan, and I was proven right after Kuriboh was destroyed. I smirked when I saw Nutrient Z.

"Clever move," Vermithor said with pride.

"Gotta agree with you on that one," my Zaldrizes told the Bronze Fury. Noah's life points rose up as Yamata Dragon returned to its owner's grasp.

Yami then proceeded to summon Alpha, the Magnet Warrior, and had it attack Noah directly. But the cocky brat stated he didn't feel a thing as Yami ended his turn.

Then, true to his word, Noah turned someone else into stone, and the victim this time was Tristan.

Vermithor hissed and swished his tail in anger.

"Lykiri Vermithor Lykiri," I told the Bronze Fury.

"It is hard to remain calm when innocents are being turned to stone wielder" Vermithor said to me.

Mokuba gave the male dragon a comforting stroke on his snout and this seemed to keep Vermithor sane for the time being.

Now it was Noah's turn again and he played Inaba White Rabbit. We all watched in horror as the rabbit hanging onto a rocket took off and it zipped around the playing field before hitting Yami directly in the back. Silverwing roared in anger and gave the rabbit monster a smack with her tail. Yami's life points went to 1100.

Like always, after each spirit monster was used, it returned to Noah's hand, and his life points went up even higher. Yami drew and first placed a card face down before sacrificing Alpha, the Magnet Warrior, to summon Dark Magician Girl. Thanks to her special ability with Dark Magician being in the graveyard her attack points rose by 300.

Dark Magician Girl attacked Noah, and still, the little shit looked arrogant. He then chuckled before pointing a finger at Serenity and the same blast of magic that turned Duke and Tristan to stone made its way towards her. Serenity pushed Joey out of the way and took the hit. Devastated, Joey went to his knees, and I was getting angrier by the minute.

"There's nothing you can do, Kitsune," Kaiba interrupted my thoughts, seeing I was pissed off.

Inaba White Rabbit was brought back out but Yami was ready. He revealed his trap card, Dark Renewal, and Inaba White Rabbit was sacrificed along with Big Shield Gardna. Dark Magician joined Dark Magician Girl and Noah concluded his turn with a card face down.

"Looks like Yugi is back to business," Mokuba said, impressed.

"I hope so kid, this duel has dragged on long enough"

Yami started his turn by playing Dark Magic Ritual before sacrificing another monster to bring out the Magician of Black Chaos.

"That's the monster he used to defeat Pegasus" Kaiba informed me.

"It looks like this duel might finally end" Vermithor grumbled.

All three of Yami's magicians united their staffs together and then unleashed their attack. But Noah again was one step ahead, and he revealed his trap card, Chaos Barrier Field. Magician of Black Chaos ended up destroying Dark Magician Girl and Yami was now down to 300 life points. Vermithor proceeded to roar, making the ground shake and I didn't blame his frustration.

"Nice try Yugi, you've put on a great show so I offer you this, if your forfeit I'll transform back to normal"

Silverwing roared out at that while Joey called Noah a slimeball.

"Watch your mouth!" Noah fumed at the blonde. But Joey gave Noah the finger and told Yami to wipe the floor with him.

Having enough Noah shut Joey up by turning him to stone next. Now Tea was the last one standing and she was pissed now. I smirked when she called Noah a spoiled brat. As Noah laughed, I swore, and then I turned to Mokuba.

"Sorry Lekia, if you want later you can put a zipper on my mouth"

My Zaldrizes looked appalled at the idea but I gave him a smirk at the same time Mokuba explained.

"Relax Seto, she's just joking that was a reference from the movie Beetlejuice"

The younger Kaiba brother then looked at me.

"What does Lekia mean?"

"It means brother in High Valyrian"

"Hate to break it to you Erin, but Mokuba isn't your brother!" Noah interrupted.

That did it!

I was suddenly on my feet and I glared daggers at him.

"Not by blood, he isn't, but he is my mate's flesh and blood, thus making him my brother, Noah!"

My hands turned into fists.

"You know nothing about what it's like to have someone who loves you, but I do, so don't you tell me how I should feel about someone!"

And I meant what I just said. Not only did I just admit I was in love with Kaiba, but I also loved Mokuba, and if anyone said otherwise, I would end them.

I felt my Zaldrizes place a hand on my shoulder, and Mokuba joined my side, intertwining his hand into mine. Vermithor gave a pleased sound. Noah shook his head, played a monster in defense mode, and laid a card face down. He then told Yami that it was a trap card called Ground Breaking; he planned on using it to bring back Inaba White Rabbit to wipe out the rest of Yami's life points.

After Yami drew, Noah activated Ground Breaking, and Inaba White Rabbit returned to the field, but Yami was ready.

He played Card Destruction and Noah looked pissed about that. The punk discarded his entire hand, and Inaba White Rabbit disappeared into the card graveyard; after drawing new cards, Yami had Magician of Black Chaos attack Noah's face-down monster. Otohime was destroyed, but like before, its effect came into play, and Dark Magician went into defense mode. Also, thanks to Otohime's second special ability, he played another trap card, Vessel of Illusion.

Otohime returned to the field in defense mode and Noah decided to spare Tea for one turn so she could see Yami be defeated. Next, Noah played Change of Heart, and he took control of Dark Magician. The spell caster was then sacrificed along with Otohime to bring out Hino-Kagu-Tsuchi. The spirit monster was musclebound and had fire for hair.

To make things even worse, Noah played Flaming Fist to increase his monster's attack points. We all watched in horror as Magician of Black Chaos was torn to shreds and Yami went flying and then landed on his back.

Tea and I protested while Noah played Spiritual Energy Settle Machine. His meat head of a monster stayed on the field due to the little shit discarding a card. The sky then darkened and Tea was hit by the stone flash. It wasn't long until she was completely turned into stone and Noah grinned before looking at me, Mokuba, and Kaiba.

"Erin, your precious Vermithor will be the next to become stone"

Vermithor roared and Silverwing did the same.

Silverwing then turned her attention to Yami and gave the unconscious duelist a nudge with her snout. At first, Yami didn't move, but then I saw his eyes open. Seeing Silverwing above him, he smiled and lay a hand on her snout. The dragoness then lowered herself and Yami grabbed hold of her shoulder and used it to stand up.

"I won't give up Noah and this duel is still on"

Silverwing and Vermithor roared out again and the Kaiba brothers winced at the loud noise.

"Sorry," the Bronze Fury apologized to them, looking embarrassed.

Yami drew, and I had a major grin when he revealed the Card of Sanctity. Once both duelists had six cards each, Yami played Monster Reborn next, and Blue Eyes returned to the field. Silverwing greeted her fellow dragon with an affectionate nudge, and Blue Eyes returned the gesture before focusing its attention on Noah.

"Holy crap!" I exclaimed as Yami then played Polymerization. Kaiba's other two Blue Eyes joined the first one before becoming Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon.

"That was a good move" Kaiba praised his rival.

But Yami was on a roll, and Quick Attack was added to the mix, and on Yami's command, Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon unleashed fury on Hino-Kagu-Tsuchi. Noah's monster was destroyed and the brat was wide open.

Realizing he was in trouble, Noah paled while Yami played De-Fusion, and Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon reverted back to three separate Blue Eyes White Dragons. Yami then had Silverwing finally join the fight, and on his command, all four dragons attacked.

Silverwing's flames joined with Blue Eyes's signature White Lighting and it hit Noah directly. His life points dropped to 0 and the duel was finally f**king over.
