Erin's POV
No sooner had the duel ended everyone was freed from their statue forms. Serenity and Joey shared a hug while Tristan was annoyed he was still a robotic monkey. Silverwing proceeded to fly over to me and the Kaiba brothers. She landed next to Vermithor and gave me a nudge with her snout.
"Are you alright?"
"I am now" I reassured her and gave her snout a pat.
The silver dragoness was satisfied with that before she gave my Zaldrizes her signature nudge with her snout. But instead of getting annoyed Kaiba gave a small smile and proceeded to stroke Silverwing's face.
Suddenly, Tea protested, and we all saw Noah trying to take control of Yami's body. But instead, a white light pushed Noah back.
"What are you?" he demanded. "Your not like the others"
A growl escaped my lips and I stormed my way over to Noah.
"It's over, Noah," I growled.
"She's right, you have failed Noah and it's time to set us all free"
"And give me my real body back pronto!" Tristan added hopping up and down while making monkey sounds.
"You want your bodies back?" the little punk then laughed. "You're real bodies are where they've been since you all arrived"
It took me a second to figure out what he meant.
"So we're here virtually while our physical bodies are somewhere else"
"Smart fox" Noah praised me with a smirk. "You're real bodies are strapped in cyber pods that are hard-wired to my virtual simulator, so everything you have experienced here has only happened in your minds"
Vermithor and Silverwing suddenly roared and the sky began to darken. Then a voice that was all too familiar called out.
"You have failed me for the last time Noah!"
"That voice it can't be!" Kaiba exclaimed.
"Father, No! Please give me another chance!"
A growl escaped my lips as it did from Vermithor and Silverwing as Gozaburo Kaiba's face appeared in the darkened clouds.
"Too late for that!"
"Gozaburo!" Mokuba yelled.
Kaiba's POV
Erin's eyes turned gold and her body glowed silver. She was angry and it wasn't long until nine silver tails appeared behind her. Knowing she wouldn't hurt me, I went over to her and placed my hand into hers.
Erin's POV
Despite the intense anger I felt for Gozaburo, it was my mate's touch that made me stop doing something stupid.
"Hmm so you're the Nine-Tailed Fox who's made Seto weak" Gozaburo addressed me.
"She isn't weak!" my Zaldrizes snapped at his stepdad.
Noah pleaded with his father to give him more time but Gozaburo brushed his son off.
"So you've been here this whole time" Kaiba hissed.
Gozaburo, unfortunately, died due to unknown circumstances, and the old fool explained how after my Zaldrizes humiliated him by taking over Kaiba Corp, he vowed vengeance and had his own mind digitized.
"Look Pops! You had your chance and you failed when you lost Kaiba Corp to someone more fit for the job!" Kaiba shouted at his stepdad after the asshole reprimanded Noah.
"Seto! I taught you everything you know; you're a fool if you thought you could outsmart me!"
"Can it old man!" I roared at Gozaburo. "You're a tyrant who not only abandoned his own son in this place! But you were cruel to my mate and his brother and put them through hell!"
I then gave Noah a glance before glaring back at Gozaburo.
"You're a poor excuse of a father and a human being!"
We all listened as Gozaburo talked more crap and I almost lost my shit when we heard what his plan was. He planned on hacking into the Internet and control the world from the Kaiba Corp computer network. Basically, he wanted to control the planet like a damn supervillain. Eventually, the evil bastard disappeared with a laugh.
With him gone, my tails disappeared, and I felt my eyes return to their normal hue.
A Few Minutes Later.
Still Erin's POV
Vermithor and Silverwing had to return to the deck to regain their strength and Noah was currently leading us down some tunnels to a supposed exit. A control panel came into view, and Noah hurried over to it, but it wasn't long until he was laughing uncontrollably.
Mokuba was about to step forward, but I placed a hand on his shoulder. The younger Kaiba brother looked at me.
"Be careful, Lekia," I advised him. I still didn't trust Noah but he was our only way out.
He gave me a smirk before I let go of him, and he rushed over to Noah and placed his hands on Noah's shoulders. I then jumped when Noah opened his eyes and my beloved's voice came out of his mouth. My Zaldrizes growled not pleased. Noah's eyes lit up as though he suddenly remembered something.
"There is another exit that I created that leads to the real world"
Everybody began to talk at once, minus my mate and Mokuba, and I had to whistle to get them all to shut it.
"My father doesn't know it exists, and that way, all of you can escape and warn the world about his plan," Noah continued.
It wasn't long until we were following Noah again.
"Something isn't right," Yami said as he walked beside me and my Zaldrizes.
"Why don't you try telling us something we don't already know Yugi"
"As much as I agree with you, Yami, Noah is our only way out of this place," I informed the Spirit of the Millennium Puzzle.
Eventually, we all exited the tunnels, and arrived in a canyon and ahead was a door. Noah stopped at the doors and he said this was the exit. But again, I didn't buy it, and whatever was waiting for us on the other side, I would be ready for it.
A flash of light later, I found myself in the middle of Domino's town square, and I was alone. The best thing to do was look for the others.
Kaiba's POV
I was right about Noah tricking us and now I was not only separated from Mokuba but from Erin as well. Currently, I was looking at Kaiba Corp and Gozaburo, no doubt, was in my office waiting for me.
"You aren't facing that old geezer alone, Stubborn One," a familiar voice spoke to me, and I gave Vermithor a glare.
The Bronze Fury wore a fanged smirk while Silverwing nipped her mate on his flank.
"What are you two doing here? Shouldn't you be protecting Erin?"
"Our wielder can stand her ground" Silverwing answered. "Though my mate won't admit we are fond of you and wish to be at your side during this last endeavor"
"I joined because I am fond of young Mokuba" Vermithor corrected his other half.
I chuckled before approaching both dragons. I placed a hand on Silverwing's snout and stroked it. The dragons hummed in pleasure as my attention went to Vermithor. The Bronze Fury sighed before saying.
"Oh very well I do like your company, and you are a worthy mate to our wielder"
That made me smirk.
"Glad I finally earned your approval, to be honest, we are both stubborn"
Instead of getting annoyed Vermithor chuckled.
"Indeed we are, so Seto Kaiba will you let us help you kick Gozaburo's ass?"
"You really shouldn't be using such language from our wielder, mate," Silverwing scolded the Bronze Fury.
"I would be honored to have you both with me in teaching that fool a lesson"
Both dragons roared before disappearing and I felt them join my deck. With them at my side, I felt less alone, and I made my way into Kaiba Corp.
Erin's POV
"Looks like Noah tricked us" Joey growled as I walked up to them.
"Mokuba and Kaiba are missing too" Tea added.
"There is still good inside of that child"
Everyone freaked out as Dreamfyre appeared next to me. She lowered her head to me and I kissed her scales.
"Holy shit! Your deck can talk?!" Joey exclaimed.
"Here they can in the real world only a select few can communicate with me"
Sunfyre chose that moment to appear beside Joey and the blonde was freaking out again. Sunfyre chuckled before giving Joey a bump with his snout.
"What was that for?!"
"He likes you, duh," I replied, doing my best not to laugh.
"Huh?! Really?!"
"We are a lot alike; we both have fiery personalities and fight like hell to protect those we care for," Sunfyre stated to Joey.
"Aw shucks" Joey blushed before giving Sunfyre a pat on the snout.
Dreamfyre suddenly growled and a whole bunch of Skull Knights and other duel monsters surrounded us.
"That old human is behind this" she hissed.
One of the monsters decided to attack Serenity and Sunfyre scorched it alive. Having enough I activated my duel disk and summoned Caraxes and another red dragon named Meleys.
Caraxes shrieked in pleasure at being brought into battle and Meleys used her fangs to destroy another monster.
"Now don't go having all the fun, Erin," Yugi teased before bringing out Curse of Dragon. Joey joined in by summoning Axe Raider.
Together the three of us had our monsters destroy the monsters Gozaburo summoned. Once the coast was clear we hauled ass with our monsters included.
